wizard-of-oz Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 i really like magic the card game. and im sure many other people like it aswell. and i think there should be a forum for it.:)
Sara Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 Unfortunately, there isn't enough demand for a new forum to be added. I believe you're allowed to discuss card games in the Lounge.
Guest Watinabe Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 I demand, it is a popular game I'm sure if you started it there would be many people who posted there including me:)
Vegitto4 Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Just one person demanding it wont get it. You need alot of support before another forum would be created.
Semjaza Posted March 28, 2003 Posted March 28, 2003 If by "many" people you mean the same few of you who keep starting these threads in here. I used to be into Magic, and I know about 10 or so people here are currently into it at the least... But it's certainly not enough to justify another forum. Your own thread on the subject is not exactly getting hundreds of responses that would show demand enough for a forum. So either post in those, or find some boards with a good Magic community. There's only so much that one place can do really.
Turkey Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Maybe there should be a poll or something. Very few people come to the Suggestions Forum, so a lot of fans don't know about this topic. And I'm sure that it will be more popular than the Tenchi Forum.
spike speigel Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 Well, i know I like the game, but I doubt there are enough people who like it to start a whole forum over it. Just talk about it in the lounge. And besides, it will probably just crash and burn like a lot of other forums that were demanded......
Domon Posted April 12, 2003 Posted April 12, 2003 I agree, there just isn't enough demand for that type of forum, if you really wanna talk about it start a thread about it.
Semjaza Posted April 13, 2003 Posted April 13, 2003 There's been a thread about it for over a week now... where have you guys been? lol
WickedThought Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Will I noticed the guy that started the MTG forum got banned, but even though I'm new here, I think you could expand with a card forum gracefully while still keeping your focus on anime it just means more options for your members^_^ but hey I'm a newbie and it's just my opinion:)
Braidless Baka Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 I reckon a TCG forum would be a cool idea... maybe not just Magic... like the Pokemon games and such... I know there's already seperate forums for pokemon and yu-gi-oh though, so i dunno ^_^ Something to wonder about
WickedThought Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 The original concept was for a card forum according to OZ, but they said there wasn't enough followers. I think that if Watinabe (who they banned) is succesful in recruiting more people like me to this board there would be alot more people posting:) By the way Watinabe's brother not him, Typed on the sexy anime chicks thread becuase he hates anime and people who like animated chicks;)
James Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 WicketThought, why do you type completely differently in this thread to the way you normally do?
WickedThought Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Must be the mood , but why do you ask I Type the way I type? PM me and explain yourself.
James Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Well for example, just look at the way you've typed when you've sent PMs to me. Normally your post quality isn't particularly noteworthy. But in those last two posts, it seems to be remarkably better. That's a very sudden shift; it'd be nice to see all your posts looking that good. ~_^
WickedThought Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 I am actually a very dedicated writer "James". So that is why when I am typing about a paticular point of interest my wording improves hence expressing my self better. So is that why you banned my IP at my school#_# I really like to take my free time to this board so please lift that ban^_^ please, please, please,?!?!?!?!
James Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 I only ban IPs when mass spamming occurs. There were two such incidents today. If a school computer has been banned as a result, I make no apologies for that. People need to be aware that an IP will be banned if this kind of thing happens, regardless of whether it's a public access computer or a private system. Regarding your posts, I do hope to see this kind of effort from you in all areas. Your posts are far more understandable when correct English is used (and I think that's a general expectation for everyone on the entire boards).
Axel--Ignition Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 Get another "demand" for me! I've played MTG since eight years ago. I haven't been here since February (I got grounded) and I'll be sure to check out the thread on it. If this is any indication to it's popularity, there is an anime in the making, it'll be out next year.
