WARNING: To everyone who plans to read this, this is likely to be graphic in every aspect put in the title. Don?t say you weren?t warned?

The chapter system is to keep it smooth, though what happens during that chapter is up to the players. Main objective of Chronicle One: to rescue David. Destroying Sandman probably will not happen, but if it does, I will personally PM everyone, and that means there will be no Chronicle Two. Hopefully, though, we can pull this off this time. Each Chronicle will contain 7 Chapters, each, but each Chapter will be fairly long. At the beginning of each chapter I will put up the objective. So, who?s ready to play?

Players/Characters:
Sunofexiles - Samantha ?Sammy? Scope
Kittychannan - Rita Symphonic
Reise - Shaun Glacier
Sonata - Liaou "Leslie" Gardner
Tash - Sol Armstrong
Neuvoxetere - Carly Matthews
Simplicity - Julia Reeves
Rhian(me) -Velvet Letrain

An old man sat at a fire. He was surrounded by the village children. He smiled lovingly, and began his tale. ?There was a man. Father Time, you know of. This was Father Time?s son, Sandman. Sandman has lived as long as Time, and won?t die till Time does ? or until someone takes his place.

Sandman was just human, to begin with. But he was immortal. Once he reached the older age, 60 years, he stopped aging. He came to children as a kind old man, and put them to sleep by dusting their eyes with sand.

This man was always kindly, and always his magic wore off with the sun?s rising. But, there was a tale of the Sandman kidnapping. Children started to disappear, and then come back a week later. It was said that Sandman was tired of his job, and wanted someone else to take over. So he gave possible ones a trial, and none have been worthy yet for training.

But I must warn you: do not accept the Sandman so easily. The ones that returned ? some didn?t ? came back maimed and lame. Some came back haunted. The Trial of the Sandman is no trivial task.?

I understand you?ve been running from the man
That goes by the name of the sandman
He flies the sky like an eagle in the eye
Of a hurricane that?s abandoned.

Chapter One: Finding Sandman

The street was silent, and nothing moved in the rain but two people on opposite sides of the road. No cars came, and the houses that lined the street were dark. They loomed silently above the two loners, and a ghostly presence told them to stay away.

On one side of the street, the person was a girl. She was only 12, but she could pass for a 16 year old. Her name was Velvet, and the rain did not hinder her. She had nowhere to go, and the rain was no problem.

Opposite of her, was a young man. He was 17, and his parents had kicked him out of the house. He could not make out much about Velvet, except that she was there. His name was David. He sat on the sidewalk near his house, and didn?t expect to be let in.

A white limo drove up, slow so as not to slosh muddy water on the two. David looked up, and one window rolled down. An older man, maybe 60, smiled at him from inside. ?Do you need a lift, young man?? David shivered, then shrugged. Someone stepped out of the front of the car, holding an umbrella. David blinked rainwater out of his eyes as the rain stopped pelting him. The door to the limo opened, and the umbrella was held over David.

The man was still smiling. He held out a robe, and David slipped it on before getting in the car. He took off his shoes as the man closed the door.

Velvet watched from the other side of the road, her 12-year-old brain working fast. Something?s not right. I can feel it. She blinked once, to clear her eyes ? and the limo was gone. Velvet?s empathy was in turmoil. The magic used was strong, and even a minor could feel it.

The girl started running, slamming her shields up. She tried to sort it out. Then it clicked. I could see the old man. His eyes: he was older than he looked. The butler: he, too, was older. And the car ? Velvet stopped, and turned to look at the road again.

Sol looked up and down the alley for Velvet. He sighed, and set off back home, seeing no sign of her. He softly reached out for her with his telepathy, but couldn't find her. She seemed...scrambled like she was in fourty places in once. He stopped trying, and put his hands in his pockets, hair hanging over his face softly over the crimson red band.

Soft rain began to cover his body, along with the alley. The drops tapped the trashcan like a percussion drummer. Sol smiled, and looked up, the drops freezing over his eyes, stopped like an invisible wall had covered him. He began to manipulate the rain, and pushed it back up, then ran.

The ran cascaded down again, like hellfire missiles on an enemy base. Sol laughed in his mind. He never said or spoke when he didn't have to. And now, he didn't have to. Sol headed for home yet again.

Velvet felt Sol?s mind probing for hers, but she was so confused by the Sandman?s appearance that she was giving him confused directions. She finally cleared her mind, and sent out a touch to Sol.

Sol? I?m here? sorry?

She felt his mental ears perk up. He locked on her location, and was soon there. Velvet smiled meekly, and then her face became serious.

Sol, something is very wrong. Sandman-

Sol was alert, looking around. Velvet shook her head, and touched his shoulder, showing him briefly what she had seen. Sol cringed; Velvet?s sending power was strong, and the teen had to tone it down slightly.

?Sol, he?s gone. He-?

Her voice choked up, and Sol put an arm around her shoulders gently. ?Velvet??

The girl looked down, eyes watering. ?He took David, Sol.? Sol gently pulled her to him, and she cried into his shoulder. Her emotions were pouring through them, down into the ground, dispersing so they would do no one harm. Velvet?s empathetic abilities were amazing; she was very strong.

Velvet sniffled once, and then composed herself. She felt a mental touch ? and stiffened. She locked up her defense system that made any one looking for her just seem to? not see her. She wasn?t there, no, you don?t want me? that was what it did. Sol looked confused.

?Someone?s looking for me.?

Sitting in a meeting with a troubled customer, Carly was distracted and looked out to the window beside her. Something troubled her inside and tugged at her powers, calling out to her, wanting guidance in troubled times. She was shaken as the customer yelled her name and in an angry fit tried to raise a hand to her. In disgust, Carly blocked the open hand and caught the customer's wrist, speaking in a foreign language in which the customer knew nothing of.

"Mr. Johnson, I assure you, my casino is not one to be, as you say, rigged. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must call the police to inform them that I was about to be assaulted by a lowly man like you."

The customer sat as he watched Carly walk towards her door and open it for him. He was appalled, yet astounded as to the things that Carly has said. He merely held his mouth open and walked out of her office. She sighed and held her hands to her temples, pain slowly strengthening as each waking moment came close to the moment of truth.

Looking up, Carly saw her reflection in the mirror, but it slowly faded as another image appeared, it was that of a young girl. The concern wasn't why the girl was out there alone in the rain, but it was where she was and what Carly was feeling that concerned her. Blinking once, the image escaped and all that was left was a memory of where she could find her, that is if she could.

A vision of sadness appeared like a television screen?a young girl?a young male?.blurry from the hot tears aching to trail down her feminine face. A pain of jealousy passed through her mind seeing the two holding each other, just knowing that that girl has someone to go to. Julia grabbed her fluffy pillow and gripped hard has she roughly hugged it between her arms and chest, causing the silken material to slightly wrinkle. She tried to shield her emotions from any probes, not wanting others to see her cowering about little childish dreams. Luxurious midnight sky curls fell loosely around her face shielding her pain and foolishness. Suddenly a knock was heard from the other side of Julia?s cherry oak door.

*Knock Knock*

?Julia please come down and join me for dinner sweetie. I don?t like seeing you like this.?, Anthony's stern voice echoed through the door to her ears.

?Don?t call me sweetie?don?t pretend that we are close. I don?t want to deal with you?NOW LEAVE!?, she yelled harshly as she threw her one fluffy pillow at her door.

There was a moment of silence after that, then footsteps of her father began to depart from the entrance of her door. She knew how he felt of her?and wish she didn?t know, but in the end she needed to find out?that he hated her yet loved her. Julia?s slanted purple eyes flicked its direction to the window, rain was falling hard and beating against the once shiny glass. A thought suddenly rushed through her mind. ?I need to go and find them?..I feel they need help?..somehow I feel a part of this mysterious and unborn story.? Her long slender legs swung to the side of her queen bed and pushed herself off, feet making contact with the fluffy wine rug. She rushed to her gigantic closet and looked for her baby blue jacket from baby fat, slipped on her sexy heel boots and rushed out the door?not needing her umbrella

Sol wiped away a tear on her face. He showed his small, but capable compassion that he had only for her. He pulled her head into his shoulder softly.

"Hey, you know I'll protect you, right?" His hair drifed across hers as he leaned his head down slightly. "Can you track who's looking for you? I can go stop them, unless its Sandman....I'd get my ass whipped." Sol smiled softly.

To comfort her, he sent Velvet a mental image of a garden full of roses with a small spring in the center, cold blue water pulling into the roots of the roses. He had seen it in a book once.

Sol looked around, and saw no one. He was glad. He didn't want anyone but Velvet to know his compassionate side. Not that he cared what others thought.

Rita left the backrrom of Moonlight Lounge. Miki head popped out of the bage sge was carring and gave a low meow. Walking up t o the bar her boss handed Rita her pay check and tips. Rita looked in the envoloped and smiled. It was enough to pay this month rent. She had been working tons of overtime the past week. "Thanks see you tomorrow." She shoved the envolope into her bag, Miki sniffed at it as it landed next to her.

"Yeah about that." Rita rolled her eyes. "Can you work again later to day? Sherial called out again.

Rita sniffed at the man, "Yeah, whatever." Rita left the Lounge in a huff. She looked up into the rain, her umbrella hanging on her arm. With in a second she created a barrier to keep Miki and her from out of the rain and started down the street.

Rita felt something tug in the back of her mind. Someone was sad and they weren't very far off. She squinted her eyes, but couldn't really see anything mostly the rain blocked her view. SHe turned her head down to Miki. "You think we should check it out?"

Velvet put a hand to her temple, slowly letting down her shields. Her eyes went wide, and she physically shielded herself and Sol. Sol raised an eyebrow. ?People, Sol? three of them. They feel us.?

Velvet straightened to her full height, and mentally called only to the three, We?re here.

Sol looked at Velvet in shock. ?Velvet!? Velvet shook her head. From three different directions came three women. Velvet locked eyes with the youngest ? Sol stared at her. She looks like you, Velvet. The girl nodded. Velvet looked to the girl who seemed to be her twin.

The girl was watching her in disbelief. It was obvious how much the girls looked alike. Velvet moved forward, as did the other girl. Their hands touched, and Velvet gasped as a shock went through her. Julia.

Velvet.

The girls knew each other?s names in an instant. A connection ran through them, their abilities being the same as well as their looks. Thoughts and memories whirled through both minds, and the girls folded into an embrace, sinking to their knees on the pavement.

I?msosorryI-

NoI?msorry-

?Velvet!?

The girls snapped out of their shared misery. They had been there only mere seconds, and it felt like they had known one another their whole lives. Velvet looked to Sol.

Sol came up behind her, looking at her with concern. She looked ready to faint. He looked as she looked back at him. He put his hand on her shoulder.

"Are you ok? What happened? You seemed..." Sol stopped. He looked at the other girl, who looked just llike Velvet. "You never told me you had a twin." To the girl, Sol stared in disbelief.

Who the hell are you? You look just like Velvet... Sol moved his hand around her whole shoulder width. She felt sort of cold to touch, but he didn't mind.

"Vel, are you ok?"

Holding her shoes in her hands, Leslie was jumping from one puddle to the next. She didn't know that she would have to bring an umbrella when she went to go get her hair cut, and now she was soaked. So, she decided to make the most of it. She jumped into another puddle and was blinded by a shining light. Leslie shielded her eyes. The source of the light was a limo that had put on its brakes when she jumped in front of it. She tried to see who the driver was, but he quickly backed up, and drove past, splashing her on the way. But before the car left, Leslie saw a familiar face looking out the only open window on the car. She thought it might have been David, but it couldn't have been. Why would he be in a limo? It must have been some boy that looked a lot like him or something. Leslie was about to continue with her game, when she felt something. It wasn't like any normal feeling she had ever had, and it was very hard to describe. Leslie put her shoes on, and started to walk towards where she thought the feeling was coming from. That was the weird thing. Their seemed to be some sort of magnet compass guiding towards the feeling. But not like a compass inside of her, leading her there. But one from an outside source, drawing her towards it. Soon, Leslie was very close to the source, and she could hear voices. She took off her shoes again, and started sneaking quietly...

OOC *curses self* Sorry for my late entry guys

The rain splashing against the cold floored ground, concrete forcing the rain drops to stop and forever lie in a puddle until they are soaked up and the same repurcussions happen again. Shaun looked up into the sky, the rain had already soaked him through, he wasn't in the mood to stop the rain, he felt considerably weak. Shaun only thought it because of weather, and the latests disappearances.

Then it hit him, and huge wave of sorrow passed through him, and he fell of where he was sitting ontop of a garbage can. Shaun jamp back up and looked around, he could feel the waves passing through the area worse than the black plague. Shaun pushed against the sorrow being made, and followed it.

Shaun peeked around a corner to see a small group of individuals, he put on his shield, and was about to show himself, before he seen a figure ontop of a roof, it must have sensed him because the silhouette started running off from building to buidling.

Shaun walked out from behind the corner to greet the small group.

Walking out of her office, several people called out to her, but she held her hand up and walked on, knowing she had to find this young girl. There were two children, in fact, one was the girl she had seen and the other was a boy she had mentally felt. He protected her from everything, he wanted to protect her from everything. Carly sighed and found her bike. She put on her black helmet, turned the engine on, and listened to the roar of her bike as she sped off to find the girl.

Remembering the area in which the girl was, Carly spoke into the hidden speaker and microphone in her helmet and placed the seen images into the GPS system that was in her bike. It showed a holographic image in her helmet and raced on to find that area. She knew exactly where it was, for it was the place that her mother died. But as Carly went on, a mental beep went off in her mind. She slowed down and locked in on whoever or whatever was coming to the girl. She saw the shadow of a young girl, approximately the age of perhaps 15, searching for the girl. She nodded to herself and knew that the girl was far behind, it didn't matter for they were all searching for the girl.

Soon enough, Carly came upon the street that the girl was at. The rain poured down upon her as she rode through it. Carly knew that in order to not scare the girl, she would have to call out to her, try to get past her defense shields, if she could. Yet a smirk came upon her and Carly slowly rode her bike towards two silhouettes that stood in the rain. Carly stopped a few feet away and called out to the girl, who knew she was there.

Hello. was all she said and the girl replied back in a beautiful, almost angelic, voice.

Hi. Were you looking for me?

That I was child. Smiling, Carly took off her helmet and turned the engine off. She then proceeded to walk towards the two, but stopped only about three feet away. What's your name? Carly awaited the answer, but she suddenly felt the girl being pushed away from the conversation and a mental voice enter it. The voice belonged to the boy who protected the girl so. His tone was angry and demanding, almost as if he was frightened.

Who are you and what do you want?

Smirking, Carly responded to the boy My, a charming young man, you are. If it is a name you want, then it is a name I shall give. Carly Matthews and I do not want anything. I was called to her.

"Velvet." Carly turned to Velvet, an eyebrow raised in question. "You asked my name and my name is Velvet, Mrs. Matthews." Carly chuckled to herself and this time, it was the two children that were confused. "Is something funny?"

"Actually, yes. Something does amuse me. You see, Mrs. Matthews was my mother. I'd prefer it if you called me Carly, Velvet."

Julia ignored the young male?s question and stared at Velvet and Carly while they spoke telepathically. Her mind did not want to enter theirs, due to the fact that she as still shocked at the fact of Velvet?s resemblance and what they have shared that instant. Julia felt that she had been missing a half of her heart for so many years?and know that she seen Velvet?everything felt complete, like her twin. Her mind shifted from that thought to another , darkness. ?Something bad is going to happen?.darkness will rule, if the light won?t shine within its core?what do I have to do with such a thing?am I with the light or with the darkness? Are they all going to fight together and be the light?savoir...oh hell what?s with my sudden thinking??. Suddenly she turned her gaze to the dismal clouds watching the rain fall from its core and touching earth?s creation.

Sammy sat under a bust stop patiently waiting for the bus to come. She quietly hummed to herself. She gave up and opened her umbrella, she walked out from under the bus stop and kind of walked cheerfully in the rain still humming. But, she started to hear telepathy waves come in and out of her mind. Sammy looked around and followed the strange waves she heard. As she got closer she could see some figures, she started to see that it was Velvet. She saw that Velvet was crying and Sammy called out ?YA!YA!? and started to wave her hands. When she got to her she spoke to her telepathically?

? What?s the matter Velva??

?David?he took David..?

Sammy?s smile quickly turned into a frown and a tear ran down her cheek. Sammy embraced Velvet in a hug. They hugged each other tight, as they sobbed in each others arms.

?I don?t know where to go from here? Velvet said sniffling.

?Don?t worry Velvey, we will find a way.?

?We will all try and help you with finding David.? Sol added.

Sammy looked at Sol. She knew that Sol liked Velvet, this made Sammy mad because she doesn?t want Velvet to be hurt in any way, shape, or form. ?I think you might want to leave her alone for a second, Sol? Sammy said rudely.

?No, I?m not leaving her side.? Sol said angrily

?Oh my god! Your going to have to leave her sooner or later!?

?What?s that supposed mean? he yelled.

?You know exactly what it means Sol!?

They both glared at each other angrily.

? STOP BOTH OF YOU!? Velvet telepathically yelled. They both looked at Velvet.

?Sorry..? said Sammy.

Velvet had managed to regain her energy, and glared at Sammy and Sol. The other?s were watching them quietly.

?I?m sorry, Carly, Julia. These two fight like siblings sometimes.?

She looked up at the other girl. ?I didn?t manage to catch your name before.?

The girl smiled. ?Rita. It?s all right. But? who is David??

Velvet bit her lip. Then she took a deep breath and began: ?David is? a boy from our neighbor hood. He was a friend of ours.? Then she explained the Sandman story to Carly and Rita. Velvet looked over to the boy who had introduced himself as Shaun; he had been very quiet.

?Are you going to try to get him back??

Velvet nodded, and bit her tongue as a pair of hands touched her shoulders. She spun, and busted up laughing. ?Geez, Les, don?t scare me like that!? The younger girl looked sheepish, and then told that she had heard.

Velvet nodded. ?Okay, we need to figure something out. What exactly can everyone do? I mean, I?m a telepath, and I feel and control emotions.?

OOC: Slow down, people, I?m having fun keeping up. ^^;

Sol walked to Velvet's side, and looked reproachfully at Sammy. He wouldn't ever hurt Velvet. ...Let's try not to have any more outbursts, Sammy.

You should leave Velvet alone, your nothing but trouble sometimes. Sammy retorted. Sol heard what Velvet had said, though. He thought about his abilites, then decided to speak up. He made to stop the rain by lifting the rain with his Telekinekis, and then taking a sheet of metal, thin, but with no holes, and placing it over their heads, supported by a frame of beams.

"Well, I am a bit of a telepath, but my telekinekis is where my powers lie. I've trained with them for a long time, but I need to know more in order to be better."

It felt strange to be around children whose ages were younger than she, except for Rita, who seemed to be in her early 20s. Carly could feel the greater strength in the boy?s telekinesis and Velvet?s powers laid in the power of empathy, which was exactly like hers. She smiled to herself and Velvet noticed it, she had a mere idea of what Carly knew.

"I possess the power of empathy, which is my stronger point, and I also have the ability of telepathy. I practiced and trained in both, but empathy is the greatest so far. I have yet to test the extent of my finite powers."

"Finite, what's that?" The young one named Sammy chirped and stood beside Velvet, looking at Carly with large hush puppy eyes, twinkling even in the rain, all Carly could do was smile.

"It is the antithesis of infinite, which means limitless, endless, on and on. Finite means limited, ending, and a certain point. Does that clear it up?" The young girl nodded and Carly noticed that the youngest there was Velvet, next to her was Shaun, then Sammy, after her Sol, Julia, Rita, and finally herself. It was strange that even children of these ages had developed powers and was somewhat advanced, not as much as she, but developed for their age. She smirked and chuckled, watching these children speak.

" I have telepathy and telekinesis, but i am stronger with telepathy than telekinesis!" Sammy blurted out. "Were gonna save David don't you worry Velvey!"

"Were gonna be kung gu super smart action heroes!" she said as she started to do hi-kicks.

"Its kung-fu.." corrected Shaun.

Sammy looked over to him, she kind of blushed. "Oh....". Sammy looked up and saw teh sun was starting to make it bright light through the crowds. "Look.." Sammy said quietly. When they all looked up they saw something very disturbing. The eyes of the sandman were right there on the sun. They eyes were evil and piercing, when they blinked they dissipeared.

"GIVE BACK DAVID!" Velvet yelled and began to sob again feeling useless.

"It's ok Velvey...hes just taunting us thats all..." Sammy comforted Velvet by patting her on the back.

"We'll get him... one way or the other we will get him!" Sammy telepathically yelled as if teh Sandman was standing rigth there in front of her.

OOC: SO sorry! I slept all day because of cramps. >.<

IC: Velvet gradually composed herself, and looked to Sammy, Sol, Rita, and Carly. ?Okay, everyone.? Her gaze turned to Leslie, Shaun, and Julia. ?Here?s what we do. Everyone stay in pairs.? Sol moved closer to Velvet, and the girl shook her head.

?Sorry, Sol. Let us all see if we can arrange sleep overs or something; the Sandman won?t leave us alone now that he knows we saw him. Shaun and Sol, since you two are the only guys, you two can stay together. I?m with Julia and Leslie; I can?t afford to leave the two of them alone.?

Leslie looked indignant, but didn?t say anything. Carly directed a thought at Velvet:

So you?re saddling me with Sammy and Rita?

Velvet nodded, and Sammy looked slightly mad, but she didn?t say anything. Velvet glanced at Leslie and Julia. ?All right, everyone, get going. And don?t say anything to anyone about this!? Velvet turned on a heel, and made for her house.

OOC: Sorry it?s short, I?m braindead.

Shuan and Sol started to take off on the sidewalk toward thier houses. Shauan turned around and said "Be careful Samantha.." he turned around and continued to walk. Sammy blushed and waited for them to be a safe distance away.

why didn't you postion me with him!!! Hes so.. Sammy said telepathically to Velvet.

"Because....no lovey dovey stuff on this mission..." Velvet cut her off.

Sammy made her puppy dog eyes and started to trot of with her little group. She crossed her arms still being mad with who she was placed with. She mumbled a few swears to herself as they approached her house.

"Go ask your parents if we can have teh sleep over tonight.." urged Carly. Sammy snarled and went into teh house only to reemerge with a bag of p.j's, toothbrush, tomorrows clothing, brush, and bow for her hair. "Thanks mom! Thanks dad!" she yelled as she walked down teh steps to teh side walk.

"Good" Carly said.

Good! mimmicked Sammy in her thoughts.

'I heard that.." said Carly.

Samantha blushed embarrsed and looked the other way.

"So Sol, you and Velvet then..."

Sol glared at him, but Shaun just laughed.

"You know I'm just messing with you." said Shaun as they walked down the street, Shaun started kicking some stones, and everything was silent for a long while.

"So my place or yours?" Sol asked finally when they had got to the street corner. Shaun shrugged and looked down both ways of the street.

"I'm easy, I'm not prone to going home that much any more" replied Shaun, "But I'm still easy"

"Ok yours it is" Sol said.

Shaun shook his head, but led hm down to his house.

When they arrived Shaun let Sol in, and Sol went upstairs to Shaun's room. After Shaun had told his parents of the friend staying he went up.

"I have a sleeping bag, two matresses, and...a pool float" Shaun laughed.

"I'll take a mattress, and the sleeping bag"

Shaun set out the mattress and the sleeping bag, and they broke into discussion.

Les walked beside Julia, as they both followed Velvet to her house. Like Sol, she knew how to use telekinesis well, but she was no telepath. The rain was stopping, and Les was mentally kicking herself for not thinking of creating some sort of umbrella with her powers, like Sol had done. Oh well, too late now. She was already soaked.

At Velvet's house, Velvet opened the door, and Julia followed her in. Les, however, remained on the doorstep. Velvet looked back at her friend, wondering what she was doing.
"Sorry, I'm soaked." Leslie explained.
Velvet smiled.
"Don't worry about it. You can take a shower upstairs, and I'll let you borrow some of my clothes. My mom won't care about the mess."
Les smiled back, and shivered. As she ran upstairs, Velvet told her that there was an extra blue toothbrush upstairs that she could use.

Les peeled off her sopping wet clothes, and put them in a laundry hamper outside the bathroom door. The bathroom was very elegant, and Les almost decided to take a bath. However, she decided not to, since she, Julia, and Velvet might need to discuss their plans about the Sandman.
Stepping into the shower, Les turned on the hot water and felt her skin tingle. When she had soon finished, she turned off the water, and grabbed at the towel rack for a towel. But there were none there. Rubbing her eyes so that she could see, Les looked around the bathroom for a towel, but there were none. Stepping out of the bathroom, and dripping water on the floor (although not as much as when she had come in out of the rain.) Leslie went around upstairs looking through closets for a towel. But as she was searching through a hallway closet, the creak of footsteps made her turn around...

It was only Velvet. Leslie started blushing. Even though her face and arms and legs were tan, she had a noticeable tan line on the rest of her body that suggested that she usually only wore one-pieces when she went swimming.
"There were no towels..." Les began to explain.
Velvet nodded and motioned for Les to follow her. Soon, Velvet found Les a towel.
"If you follow me, I'll get you something to wear, too."
Leslie did as she was told, and followed Velvet to her bedroom. Les dried herself off as she waited for Velvet to find her something. Throwing the towel to the side, Les had the strangest feeling...And although she tried to fight it, it was no use, and she soon stood right behind Velvet. Velvet turned around, to ask Leslie if she would mind wearing a skirt. Then, Les put her arms on Velvet and pressed her lips against the older-looking girl's. Velvet seemed a bit surprised. Leslie then grabbed the clothes out of Velvet's hands, apologized, and started to leave the room.

Taking Sammy's things, Carly put them in a cabinet underneath the seat and gave an extra helmet to Sammy. She then proceeded onto Rita's house, where she dropped them off for a moment. She told them to stay at Rita's house for a moment or so until she got a car since her bike could not carry all of their things or the three.

Carly arrived back at the apartment that she had bought and placed Sammy's belongings in a room. She then sighed and grabbed the keys to her car, a Subaru WRX. She went back to Rita's house and walked up to the door, mentally knocking on the two girls' minds, as well as knocking on the door in front of her.

The two girls popped out with Rita's belongings and Carly helped put them in the car as the two entered Carly's car. Cracking her neck, Carly closed her door and sped out onto the road towards her house, but soon turned hungry.

"Hey, are you two hungry? We can stop by somewhere and eat for a bit before going back to my place." Silence hung in the air and Carly became impatient. When hunger strikes in her stomach, Carly either gets agitated or impatient, depending on the situation and in this case, she was impatient. "Come on, it's either now or wait until we get home. And at this moment, I'd rather eat now. So...what's it going to be?"

"I am a little hungry." Rita spoke to Carly, who sat beside her in the passenger seat. "Sammy, why don't you just eat? I think it'd be better. Let's get burgers, how about that?"

A small fine came from the backseat and Carly could hear small curses from the child's mind. A smirk appeared and Carly entered a drive-thru, knowing she did not want to eat inside. She paid and sped off with their food, wanting to get home as soon as possible.

Once she parked the car and went into her apartment, the two girls were in awe of her home. It was nothing like the other apartments, such room and color was inside it. It reminded them of the apartments of the movies and was just amazed. Carly merely chuckled and turned on all the lights, setting Rita's items in a room next to Sammy's.

"Sit down, eat your food. You guys can tour the house later."

"So what are we going to do about David? Going against Sandman is almost certain suicide. He's got enough power to scramble us with ease, so, we're fucked to say the least." Sol asked Sean. It was honest.

"I dunno. I though you trusted your Velvet." Sean asked, the taunt there. Sol felt his anger flare, but pushed it back down. He sent Sean a mental image of a water tower with The Finger painted on it. "Shut up, Sean." He growled.

"Ok ok....sorry!" Sean laughed.

"What do ya got to eat here? I'm starving." Sol said simply. He hadn't eaten since....about three days ago. He was growing weak. Not that he'd ever let anyone know that. He passed it off as a normal hunger, not the gnawing, biting, killing feeling inside.

"Hey, are you close to Velvet's house?" Sol asked.

"What, wanna spy on her to see if she's doing anything without you?"

"Anwser the damn question."

"Yeah she just stays across the street, we went the long way to mine, we were just along the road, haha" Shaun said.

Sol glared at him and stood up, "I'm going out for a small bit, I'll be back before late"

"Hey, Velvet said to stay in atleast two's"

"I'm just going acro-- out for a while"

"And I'm coming aswell"

"Christ, I'm older than you"

Shain shook his head, "You still don't have enough power to protect yourself, you're draining fast and I can tell"

"Ok then, come on"

"So where are we go?"

"Across the street" Sol said, his eyes shifting.
