of [u]Beethoven's Ninth Symphony[/u] (more commonly known as [i]"Ode

Ninth Symphony premiered in 1824, and by then, Beethoven
was already deaf. It was said that halfway through the
performance, the orchestra began to keep the rhythm he was
gesturing with his hands instead of following the appointed
conductor's baton.

The fourth movement of the Ninth Symphony is currently the
