[I]they all go through the door and into a circular room.[/I] Drake: I've got a bad feeling about this... [I]He closes the trap door, yet it remains light enough to see. The light from outside seems to shine through the ice that makes up the tower.[/I] Siren: Well, at least it's light enough to see in here... We won't need torches. [I]Slowly, their eyes adjust to the lower level of light.[/I] Orion: We will if we go down to the bottom. Kizu: I can't imagine that there's very much light at the bottom of this lake... [I]They step into the center of the room and suddenly, a monster pops out of the wall. It seems to be made out of half-frozen water, and has a shiny blue color.[/I] Drake: What the heck!?! [I]He throws a knife, but it goes right through the monster.[/I] Drake: What is this thing!?! [I]He draws his short-sword and slices at the monster. It stops moving towards him for a few seconds, but doesn't seem to be affected other than that.[/I] Kizu: Get out of the way! [I]Drake jumps to the side, and Kizu fires a Fire Arrow into the monster. The arrow goes right through the monster and sticks into the far wall... But then the monster melts into the floor, in a puddle of water-like liquid.[/I] Drake: Dang, that was close! [I]He sheaths his sword and recovers his knife. The knife blade has crystals of ice forming on it.[/I] Orion: Well, there's a door to another room over there... Do we wait in here for awhile and hope the dragons give up... Or do we explore the Tower? Drake: It's only going to get colder, the farther we go down... But dragons don't like the cold... [I]Drake looks at the door...[/I] Drake: Well, that's odd... They don't... Orion: How does it stay in place, then? Drake: Beats me... Kizu: Shall we move along? Drake: Oh, right, yes... [I]He pushes the door all the way open. The floor of the chamber inside is a shiny blue color, and is much more slippery than in the previous room.[/I] Drake: Woah! Watch your step! [I]He slides on the ice, trying to keep his balance.[/I] Siren: What's that? [I]She points to something huddled in the far corner of the room.[/I] Kizu: I've never seen anything like it before. Drake: Looks... Looks like a green penguin... Orion: Only bigger... and with a sharper beak... Drake: Maybe it's asleep... Lets try to sneak past it... [I]They move across the ice slowly, towards the other side of the room where a staircase is set in the wall.[/I] Drake: Slowly.... slowly... What the? [I]Drake happened to look up... but to late... Siren: Sh.it, again Kizu: Drake you wouldn't have anything special to kill penguins would you? Drake: No, I didn't think I would need it. Kizu: *anime fall down* Orion: Lets just attack them. *He lunged at the penguin that was sleeping. But the penguin dodged his attack and he slid into the wall* Oww, that hurt. They are a bit faster than I though. Kizu: Yeah, this might be a bit harder that we though. *Looks at a wall and sees a strange switch* Drake: I wonder what that is for? GET IT OFF ME, GET IT OFF ME!!! [I]He falls over, and starts rolling around on the ice, kicking violently to try and get the penguin off.[/I] Orion: Think we should help him? Siren: No, I think this'll be good for him... Kizu: The other one seems to be enjoying it to... [I]He points at the other penguin, which is watching Drake.[/I] Drake: GET IT OFF ME!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR?!?!?! AGH!!! Orion: I think he hit the panic button in his brain... Siren: Maybe he has a fear of penguins? :laugh: Drake: [lots of censored swearing] [I]The other penguin makes a kind of laughing/quack sound.[/I] Drake: [even more censored swearing] [I]Finally, he manages to dislodge the penguin from his foot. It slides across the ice, and sits there staring at him. Drake is lying on the floor, breathing heavily.[/I] Orion/Kizu/Siren: :laugh: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!! :laugh: Drake: :flaming: .......... [I]They all turn and look at Drake.[/I] Drake: WHAT!? You guys told me to try it! Kizu: Hey... look. [I]He points at the two penguins, which are waddling down the stairs.[/I] Siren: Maybe we should follow them... Drake: Is there anywhere else for us to go? [I]They start walking slowly down the stairs, Drake in the lead...[/I] Kizu: So, you think there's a giant penguin down here? Drake: If you're hoping that I will get eaten, don't count on it. [I]They continue running down a narrow corridor, the snowball rolling after them.[/I] Orion: It was a trap! Drake: When I find those penguins... :flaming: [I]Suddenly, they come upon a hole that spans the entire width of the corridor...[/I] Drake: Ah, crap! Orion: It's too big for us to jump across, even me. Siren: So what do we do!? [I]Drake looks up, and points.[/I] Kizu: Well that's convenient, isn't it? [I]Above the hole, the ceiling opens and goes up to the first floor. There's a ledge halfway in between them and F1, with a block on it. Drake makes a loop in his rope and ties it, ready to throw it over the block on the ledge.[/I] Siren: Shouldn't that snowball have gotten to us by now? Drake: That's exactly the sort of thing that you shouldn't be saying right now... [I]They turn around, to see the snowball about to hit them.[/I] Drake: SEE!!! [I]The snowball hits them, and they sort of get pressed into it, so that they stay on it... Then they're falling, for what seems like minutes.[/I] Drake: Whee! Snow angel! Siren: You know, we could hit at any second... AND YOU'RE MAKING A SNOW ANGEL!!! Drake: Have fun while you can. Orion: Oh-- [I]The snowball hits the floor, but the snow cushions their fall.[/I] Drake: My snow angel! NOOOOO!!! Siren: BE THANKFUL THAT WE'RE ALIVE!!! Drake: Oh, right, yeah... [I]They stand up and look around.[/I] Kizu: Where the heck are we!? Orion: Deep in the Tower, I guess... Kizu: It is darker than up near the entrance... I can't even see the walls... Drake: *sigh* ...We weren't planning on going down this far, were we? Siren: NO! Definitely not! Drake: So this wouldn't be considered a shortcut... All: NO! Kizu: I say we look for a way back up. Siren: Yes, good idea... [I]They all look up, and see light up at the top of the pit.[/I] Siren: Don't say it, Drake... Drake: What, say-- Siren: DON'T SAY IT! Drake: Thelightattheendofthetunnel!
