Note: it's time to get this thing started!

Neko walked through the small army camp.
'Hmmm, the numbers have grown.' she thought. 'Still not enough to take on the Global Unity Keepers' headquaters, but this will do for now. I should get to know the new recruits before we have to get moving again.'
"Okay everyone! Line up!" she yelled as everyone scrambled to get into someone neat rows. "We have new recruits. Treat them with respect. We can't afford anymore injurys from all those bar fights!" she pauses to look at two gentlemen in the front row with swollen jaws and blackeyes. "We have 34 hours until our next move. Take this time to rest and to get to know each other. Fall out."

Yasir sat with his back hunched up against a tree, twirling a knife between his fingers. He looked around at the camp and questioned wether or not he should have even come here. He threw the knife in the air and when it came down he stopped it and balanced the blade on the tip of his fingers.
Yasir did somewhat lament his coming here and now was beginning to regret it even more: the place was full of rookies and people who weren't even warriors. He had fought for years and taken on more than his share of GUK soldiers but most of these people didn't look like they knew one end of a sword from the other. These were the people that he would have to look out for if he fought with them, but he didn't stay around the rookies; if he stayed around anyone it would be the ones he had seen fight and the ones who had earned some of his respect.
The other thing that was bothering him was the forest itself. It was usually warm in the forest, not as hot as he'd like but still it could be tolerable. The two things that really got him about the place was both that outside of the clearing the sun was difficult to see (which hampered his time telling), the ground was damp so that it did not take a specialist to follow uncautious trails, the plants filled the place with scents whiched lessened his smelling abilites, and most of all that the place was damp. He could not stand being on moist ground, it contrasted to much to the sands that he liked.
He looked around and saw their leader. He had at first doubted her abilities but now, seeing how many had come here, thought they might be a little more organized than he thought. They might have a chance against the GUK after all and here Yasir's fighting might have more meaning.

He caught the knife he had been twirling and returned it to his bandolier. He was hungry and wanted to eat. He decided to go somewhere were he could remain with other veterans like him.

Ai wandered around, aimlessly for a bit. "Boredom is such a drag!!" he thought. That's when he spotted the bucket of icey-cold water. "Neko DID say to rest...and I do my best resting when i'm having fun!!!" Ai smiled as he picked up the bucket, and ran to set up his prank. But who should he target? the question taunted him for a few moments.

Then he had it! Ai walked over to the mess hall, and set up the bucket to fall on the first one to try to go out the back door. Once he sat up his prank, Ai scurried up into a near-by tree, setting up the leaves and branches into a cushy place for him to lay around in until someone came out the back door. "Ahh..and now to play the waiting game." with that, Ai stretched out and took a nap.
Neko walked over to Yasier.
"I know you've had your fair share of fighting, so i want you to help train some of our rookies. I think that you'd be the best person for the job. So, how about it?" she asked him.
Ai had heard her request, and thought it best to stay camped out in the tree. he wasn't a rookie per-say, but he wasn't the best warrior in the world either. "maybe I should disguise myself like a part of the tree??" he asked himself.

What Neko said made Yasir stop. Train the rookies? He had always disliked the greenhorns but that was probably because they had such a bad habit of getting themselves killed. It was true that if he would train them they would have a much better chance of survival but the process of training them would be frustrating to Yasir... unless he tried to have a little fun with them.

"I'll train the rookies under one condition: I get to use my own methods to train them, no one interferes unless I want them to. I won't train all of them, though. You select a group of the best ten and I train them to be the best guerilla fighters in the world and if I think any of them aren't worth my time I won't hesitate to get rid of them. So, do you agree to my terms?"

Ai didn't hear what Sky and Neko where talking about, as he moved to the roof of the messhall, but he did realize that no one was going to go out the back door. His plan was a bust. it was time to relieve some boredom.

Ai picked up the bucket, still icey cold, and flung the water into the air, shouting "RAIN STORM!!!" He hoped that whoever it hit had a sense of humor.
"Agreed," she said and walked over to Sky. When she began to talk to her, icy cold water hit her and Sky like a brick. she sighed and looked at Ai who was blushing.
"Hey Ai, get your ass over here!" she called out to him.
"oops...." Ai muttered to himself, and leapt down in front of Neko. "You wrang??"

"I believe that you are the one responsible for pouring water all over me and Sky? And also, as punishment, don't try to lie, i know it was you, you must wake up at 2 am this morning and cook bacon and eggs for the entire army. Am i understood?" Neko said to him. "Oh, and one more thing, thanks for lighting up the mood around here, just don't do it to me." She pointed to a small group of people laughing.

Ai nodded, half happy, half sad. Of course he was already thinking up something to wake up the whole army in the morning. "hot and spicy eggs??" he asked himself, as he walked over to his tree. Oh well, he would decided in the morning. Now he had to get sleep. 2 am was pretty early for a night owl like him to wake up.

Watches everyone noticing the mood around the area changing as a storm rolls in. He begins to wonder when his next assassination mission will be and if he is fighting for the right cause and is on the right side.Taking these thoughts into mind he turns towards a tree and removes a blood packet from his jacket and begins to drink thinking "...this is going to be a long war...."

Ai rolled out of his cot in the tree, fast asleep, and right onto sanoske's head. Even as he fell onto the ground, he slept. "....War....peace...war...peace..." he kept muttering to himself, as he squirmed around, almost like he was having a nightmare.

Neko walked over to Ai and sighed. She rolled him away from Sanoske and into a tent, where he was supposed to be and walked back out to Sanoske. She sat down next to him and sighed.
"I can't wait until tomorrow," she said to him.
"Why?" Sanoske asked.
"Because this battle is going to be the turning point of the war if we suceed, which we will, and are existence will be aknowledged for once. People will see that we are still around and that we can still kick major ass!" She laughed to herself and got up. "Anyways, you might want to get to bed, tomorrow's gonna be a big day."

Ai woke up in a cold sweat, the stars out, and the moon half way through it's nightly corse. "might as well get to work..." he muttered to himself. the nights dreams, of war ending in the peace that is only brought by being dead haunted Ai's memories. there would be no jokes. not for a while at least. he was too shook up.

Ai strolled to the mess hall to make the breakfast. He was at the door when he heard something weird. he couldn't tell what it was exactly, but it gave him an ominous shiver.

Watched as Neko walked away wondering if this battle will really be the turning point. As he got up he looked at the camp wondering why all these ppl are trying to throw thier lives away and then remembered that all of them have something to fight for and that is recognition and freedom. Sanoske started to walk to his tent and then remembered somthing else....he doesnt need sleep.

It was nighttime now.
Yasir sighed, he wasn't looking forward to training a bunch or rookies. But he wasn't training them now and he didn't feel like he could sleep so he decided to do something somewhat useful. He looked around the camp to see only a few others awake.
Yasir still didn't feel like there was a safe enough perimeter around their base and had made a habit of doing patrols around the forest. He had found some GUK patrols and had taken them out when he felt it necessary, but he also like the patrols because of the relative silence. He took one last look around the camp and decided to have some company on this one.

"Hey, Sanoske! Seeing as you're just standing there, come with me on a patrol around the forest. This is what you're getting paid for, right?"
Before he responded Yasir also said loud enough for anyone who was listening to hear, "Anyone else can come too."

Ai had just begun on the eggs when he heard Yasir's offer. He thought for a moment, deciding to let his magic fix the eggs, while he went on patrol. "This may give me an oppertunity for a good prank!" he thought. With the muttering of his words, he animated the kitchen appliances to fix the eggs

This left him a bit drained, but the chance to have some fun and get the dream out of his head would fix that. "Maybe someone will think there's a ghost making breakfast!" Ai mused to himself as he wandered to find Yasir.

"OK! I'll go with you!" Ai called out to Yasir, as he drew out his fighting staff (his most trusted weapon).

"I see ya'll are making friends. Good job. I wish everyone was more like you," she said to them and smiled.
Ai hid immediately from Neko, hoping she would forget he was supposed to be cooking breakfast for the entire amry. "oh crap" he muttered to himself, as he squated down low in a bush*

Left the confrontation behind noticing this is not something he should get into. He pulled out his scythe and checked the blade one last time before going into the enemy camp to create a little havoc. "this is going to be an interesting evening....." Sanoske muttered to himself as he wrapped his body in shadows and immediatly took off towards the enemy camp.

Yasir saw Sonoske run off. He could tell from the look in his eyes he was heading towards a battle. 'This should be a little interesting' he thought to himself, seeing as he had never seen him in combat. Ai and Sky could stay busy fooling around in the ecampment, in fact, Yasir liked it better this way. The less interference the more efficient he would be.

He jumped through the trees, leaving not a trace as he bounded from branch to branch. When he found the enemies he at first remained hidden, surveying them. He decided it may be wise to do this as bloodlessly as possible and spotted who appeared to be the commander of this particular group. Jumping from a tree both silently and without being spotted by any of the GUK troops, he landed directly behind the enemy lieutenant (he guessed, judging from the number of soldiers) who was surveying his own troops as they rested.

He was still undetected at the moment though he knew that standing in the open it wouldn't last long. He raised his right hand, which held one of his throwing knives, and slid it over the lieutenant's shoulder and pressed against his neck. As soon as he did this, before the GUK lieutenant realized what was going on, he spoke quietly into his ear.

"Now, surrender immediately."

Ai freaked out. "MYSTIC STAFF OF THE TANUKI!!!!" he shouted, diving the end of his battle-staff into the ground, and launching himself into the air. A good 90 feet above everyone else, Ai looked around for the best place to land.

Something caught his eye. Near the village he had stayed by, after the death of his master, Ai could see a raging fire. "Oh, no...." Ai gasped. He landed in the same spot he had jumped up from, announcing that he desprately had to leave, and that he would be back as soon as possible.

As Ai raced through the woods, he prayed that the government had not found the village.
