Onidus was slowly feeling himself getting restless. Slowly waiting on a target was in his nature, but ever since his battle with the angel Serene his blood boiled just a bit hotter.

"This is silly. We know what she's doing and we know exactly what we have to do." he barked. Anue rolled her eyes at him. Onidus then felt his wound from earlier act up.

"Is that little wound of yours still bothering you?" she said examining his eyes for the slightest hint of deceit. He closed his eyes and shook his head. The wound just felt odd to him. It wasn't a life threatening wound, but it left him feeling uneasy. You could almost say the wound 'called' to him.

"I forgot my manners earlier, Anue. Thanks for the kit...." he said rubbing his chest.

"A thank you. Wow." she laughed. Onidus wasn't at all concerned with the upcoming fight. This wound on the other hand made him worry. It resonated with some type of power that calmed him yet, boiled his blood. The very thought of the angel he fought made him want to seek her out.

"Oni, what are thinking of over there?"
"I assure you it's nothing I can't handle."
"There you go again with your loner talk. Give me a break..."
"I'm just stating that this is nothing to worry about."
"Seriously, what's the matter?"
"I fought an angel the night I went out..."
"Why and who was it?"
"A woman named Serene. Any more than that is unimportant. I just know that once we finish up here I'm going to look for her....".

Anue didn't ask more out of irritation. She sighed and looked away.

"Anue, if you'll do me a favor and come with me I'd appreciate it." he said staring at the ground. Edited by Ol' Fighter

Anue smiled as she kept an eye out looking through the binoculars and into the hotel room across the street.
"See? Asking isn't so hard is it?"
"I was mistaken for asking-"
She laughed a little and pat his shoulder allowing her touch to linger just slightly before she went back to looking into the room.
"Of course I'll go with you Oni. Hearing that, I couldn't let you go alone. Besides, after telling me that you were going to go and find her I would have followed you anyway. We have to stick together you know."
She looked away from the room and back at him giving him a smile and a wink before looking back, something was off though, pulling the walkie talkie to her lips he flipped it on and spoke into it.
"Rayne, she's gone. Oni and I have been here the entire time keeping an eye on her and now she's just...well gone. I can't find her at all."
Oni frowned and looked through his own pair of binoculars and confirmed what she had stated.
"What's our move Rayne?"
"Stay there, wait for my signal, keep and eye out and if you spot her let me know."
"Roger that."
Putting the small walkie down she sighed and rolled onto her back for a moment and than back to her stomach to continue her watch.
"This is so boring. I hate watch jobs. I feel like a guard dog doing crap like this. I can only imagine what it must be like for you while you know what kind of canine you are."
Onidus shook his head and glanced at her, his face still straight.
"How can you be certain that you are a canine?"
"I'm not a feline otherwise we'd never get along...oh wait."
She chuckled as he shook he shook his head and went back to looking, his body stiffened for a moment before he grabbed his walkie quickly and began to speak into it almost frantically.
"She's back, meeting with someone alone. A woman, what should our move be Rayne?"
"Stay there til I say otherwise dammit. You two are to much alike I knew I should have sent Ken with you. Do not move from that spot."
Anue tsked and spoke into Onidus' walkie, shocking him for just a moment wondering how she managed to get that close so quickly.
"Dammit Rayne, you can tell me to stay here all you want, if she tries to kill her I'm moving in!"
"Anue, you both need to just stay there, I'm sending Ken and Tahlia to the feeding room as we speak, if she's going to kill it'll be there. Just give it time."
"Rayne!"
She growled as she got no response and shoved the thing back at Oni, shuffling over to her binoculars she looked through them and growled more as Kun circled the young woman like an animal on the hunt.

Rayne slammed his fist on the sterring wheel, bending it slightly out of shape. "Damn it. We can't risk our cover being blown. Ren, get up there. If Anue is going to move in, she's going to need help." They had parked the car in the adjacent parking deck to the hotel, ready to move.

"Right. I think I can get up using the alley. I hope I can find an unoccupied room to burst into."

"Worry about that later. Just go. I'll move into position myself. I need to know just who we're dealing with."

A crackle over the walkie talkie alerted him to something going on. "Come again?" he asked as Ren opened the door and left. Tahlia's voice came over the walkie talkie. "Rayne, Ken's managed to get another room on the same floor. I'm in the women's bathroom in the lobby. There's a ton of guys and girls in black suits. I count fourteen just in the lobby alone, not counting those I've seen in the hallways. Whoever they are, they've got some serious manpower."

"I'll move out now. Watch it. Don't draw attention to yourself. Scope it out. Ken should be nearby."

"Roger. Pizza delivery... are we really playing this role?"

"You scared? I can have someone else do it."

"Haven't you learned by now? I'm already dead. I fear nothing!" Rayne smiled at her ferocious demeanor.

"You may be harder to kill now, but a bullet through the brain does just a good a job on shikabane as it would you. Be careful."

"Fine. I'll get on it." With that, the walkie talkie went dead. Rayne took it as his cue to move. He got out of the car and proceeded to walk to the hotel. But, he couldn't finish his short walk. "Hold it." A gun poked him in his back. "We know you're here to target our product."

"Who, little ol' me?" Rayne asked innocently.

Anue was watching from her binoculars, seeing the glint of the gun from the shadows she cursed and threw the spectacles away gaining a confused look from Onidus.
"Anue?"
she didn't bother answering him as she dashed across the roof and lept from the edge, squinting her eyes against the wind rushing against her face as she fell. Landing beside Rayne she lashed out with her right leg and ducked down as the gun was swung at her head, aiming to pistol whip her. Planting her hands on the ground she swung her left leg back around and swept the feet of the person out from under them, hearing the thud of the body she threw her foot down on the person's wrist and grabbed the gun throwing it back to Rayne. She looked back at him and gave him a smile.
"What no 'thank you?"
"You moved with out my permission."
Aw geez, really Rayne?"
"Get back into position Anue!"
"I just saved your ass!"
"You disobeyed my orders!"
She growled and clenched her fists.
"Unbelievable!"
Throwing her hands in the air she ran back into the building and dashed up the stairs til she slammed the door open for the roof access, stomping past Onidus she was mumbling a string of curses, looking over at him she glared.
"What?"
"Nothing. I take it Rayne didn't take the rescue lightly?"
"Not at all. Let's just get this damn job done so we can go home. I need a damned drink."
Onidus chuckled as he looked through the binoculars waiting for a signal telling him and Anue to move in.

Kenneth unpacked his small gym bag of items he had brought along with for the mission with Thalia, he had entered with her casually, but they were lucky enough to get a room on the same floor as the famous singer. But once entering the floor, they both were patted down and asked numerous questions by the muscle that guarded her personal room, finally after a small breifing, they were released on their own. Ken to his room, Thalia went about to her own scoping point. Having an up close access to the floor and being close to her room made it ideal for them to spring into action if anything were to happen, especially now that there was a human in there with her. Kenneth opened up his gym bag and brought out a small laptop and wireless ear piece, along with the power cables to both. Opening the laptop, the angel quickly typed in a new commands to hack into the security systems and cameras for the hotel, easy job for his human line of work. Reaching to his ear piece, Kenneth pressed down on the button to contact Rayne.

"This is Ken, I've safely taken over their camera operations and security controls. If need be, we shall call for human back up to deal with Miss. Kun's protection. But I fear, my friend, that our time is running out for the human stuck inside that monsters living quarters" Kenneth tapped his space bar key to switch the camera views on the hall, he counted about 13 guards on the floor to her suit, some openly brandished their weapons while others hid them away on their persons.

"We've had a couple of stalls Ken, but keep up the survellience for now, Thalia will be making her move soon. Stay on her and make sure you're close by just in case something were to happen." Rayne commented, Kenneth only nodded as he hung up and dialed a number on his computer screen, it went directly to Thalia's walkie.

"Are you in position my dear?" Ken spoke softly as he heard a couple of footsteps outside of his hotel room door. Moving slowly towards the entrance, he hugged the wall to hear some chit chat between the guards.

"There's been some commotion outside, check with the hotel security downstairs to make sure everything is taken care of. Also, contact our men on the floor, you know how Miss. Kun hates little distractions when she's preparing for her concerts!" The man ordered, he was answered by three different "Yes Sir" replied before there was more shuffling of feet until they vanished down the hallways.

"Hey Ken! Yeah I'm about to deliver my pizza now, are you ready?" Thalia finally responded.

"Be not worried, I am prepared for this" Ken hung up the line as he exited his room, wearing only a pair of dark blue jeans and short sleeve black shirt, he was dressed casual for the stand by, in case things got hairy, he wanted to be comfortable. Kenneth locked the door behind him, staring to his right, he got many glances from the security, they recognized him, but still kept their hands on their weapons and stared him down. That's when Thalia appeared from a corner right down the hall, donning a nice pizza delivery outfit and hiding her face with a red and black baseball cap with the pizza logo embroidered into the fabric. Ken could see her smile as she walked with her food, one of the guards noticed her and waved her down.

"That will be going into this room, please follow me" Thalia only nodded and smiled, Ken took the time to walk past the guards and Thalia, quickly slipping his hand underneath the box she was carrying, he managed to stick a half piece of his angel feather, along with a small microphone before anyone could notice. Thalia got the hint as she continued walking along, playing out to everyone that they had bumped into one another by accident.

"My apologies my lady, I was in a rush. Please excuse me" Kenneth spoke before he made it to the end of the hall and turned the corner, leaning against the wall to make sure the bug got inside the room. Thalia giggled at the apology as she was escorted to the front door, the guard knocked before opening the door with his personal key card, he must have been in charge of the rest to have a key card to Kun's suit. Ken was a little thrown off by this, he didn't realize Thalia would have to enter inside.

I know its short, and my apologies for the late replies, just had writers block for this one for God knows when. Hopefully this'll help push things along the right way :-3

Anue hissed through her teeth as she peered across the street through the binoculars yet again.
"No no no."
Onidus sat up from his position on his back, looking over at her he raised an eye brow.
"What's wrong?"
"Dammit, Tahlia's going inside. I didn't know she was going to have to go inside. This could get ugly..."
Onidus peered through is own pair of binoculars and than looked over at Anue.
"She'll be fine, she's tough you know that."
"That's not the point. It wasn't part of the plan...what if something goes wrong? What if Kun figures it out?"
"Anue, everything will be fine. Rayne wouldn't let us get hurt."
She threw the binoculars against the concrete roof growling out a curse that made Onidus raise both eye brows.
"Whoa. Are you alright? I don't think I've ever seen you this upset...by anything."
Anue frowned, looking at her hands she could see them shaking and shook her head roughly to try and clear it. Onidus was right, she was usually tame mannered, one to joke and have a good time, regardless of the situation. But today, this time, she was irritated more than usual, her temper had been flaring quickly and she could feel her canines extending in her mouth as she stood next to Onidus. She shook her head more trying to clear it, trying to gain control over her temper but nothing seemed to be working. Grabbing the walkie talkie she pushed down the button, almost violently and spoke into it, her voice boarding on a growl.
"R-Rayne. I have to get out of here...something is wrong with me."
"Anue, what's wrong?"
"I don't know...I can't seem to control my self. I'm irritated and changing with out any control..."
"Hang tight, I'm coming up."
"No! Tahlia's inside the room with Kun. If something goes wrong she's going to need you more than me."
"She has Ken-"
"I don't care! I'm going back to the room...I'll let you know when I get there."
Silence followed before he spoke again.
"Onidus, go with her. I don't want her alone if she can't control her self."
Onidus spoke into the walkie talkie as he took hold of Anue's upper arm.
"I got it."
She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose as her vision swam and blurred red as Onidus led her off the roof and back towards the room.

Looking at Anue, Onidus couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Guess you are some type of canine after all. Going feral is kinda our thing." he joked. She seemed to try to laugh a bit, but it seemed as if she was in a great deal of pain. As he walked her he felt completely helpless. He thought about the times he went feral... how horrific and uncontrollable he was. It was a terrifying thought that made Onidus grit his teeth and hasten his stride. Anue was struggling more and more. Onidus could sense her mind's shifting thoughts so, without thinking he lifted her up and transformed into his wolf form and began to dash through the city like a ray of light.

"Hang on, Anue...".

Onidus was nearly there, but as he neared the last stretch he caught wind of a familiar scent... a scent that he just couldn't resist. It was that angel's scent. He stopped and sniffed the air deeply trying to figure out where exactly she was. It became obvious as a blade of swirling light came twisting towards him.

"Finally I've found you..."
"Selene."
"I'll kill you this time. For sure."
"You looked at the face of death once, but you want to test it again?"
"I did some research on you, wolf shikabane. You can manipulate feelings. Project auras."
"You are no match for me. Your blade is my only foe."
"My sword? So, the celestial scar is planted."
"Explain this or I'll be sure to kill you this time. What have you done to me?"

The angel called her sword to her. In a burst of light it appeared in her hand.

"This sword was forged specifically to kill shikabane. The swirling light that surrounds it is a curse that effects a shikabane much like their very own curse." she said with a stern face. Onidus could feel his focus leaving him as his temper grew. The very sight of the sword made him seethe with anger.

"Your curse... you hate being confined in all forms and you can't strike down the weak. I take it my sword confines your control and makes you feel weak. It bypasses your pride." she said with a bit of a smile. Onidus couldn't take it anymore. He held Anue close as his form became even more perilous. He was preparing to not only defeat her, but kill her.

"I gave you your chance... Now I'm going to kill you." he said peering into her eyes. He held Anue closer to himself to protect her from this massive mental assault. The angel readied her sword and said a few quick words which seemed to ignite it like dry wood to fire. In a matter of seconds the entire city block was in a supernatural black-out. The atmosphere took up a feeling as well as look of death. The air turned thin and the wind fell silent.

"Your mind tricks won't work on me this time you foul creature!" she said lunging at Onidus. The blow connected slashing his arm deeply. His blood dripping on the desolate earth. The angel quickly flew back expecting a counter-attack, but he didn't seem to have budged at all. She began to feel uneasy about the battle for a second, but her resolve quickly returned. She darted at him once more aiming for his left leg. The blade pierced through painting the ground, but still he did not move. This worried her more so she decided to go for a deathblow. Empowering her sword with a wicked golden light she flung it into the earth. The ground around Onidus howled fiercely then erupted with a terrible light. His instincts alerted him immediately to the threat this attack posed to not only him, but Anue. He regrettably had to move. By keeping still he was able to shield Anue from his attack on the angel as well as focus it, but if he didn't now they both would be obliterated. Onidus literally exploded into a mass of pitch blackness and with unbelievable speed engulfed the angel.

"I warned you." he said in a haunting voice. The angel tried to escape his cloud, but found it impossible. She was somehow contained within it. To make matters worse she was losing her senses. The smell of death that he exuded she could no longer smell, she couldn't hear, she couldn't feel her sword's energy nor her own, she could no longer see the powerful glow of her sword, and last the horrific taste she had in her mouth from Onidus' smell... even that vanished. Desperately, she fought against it, but in the end her resolve shattered and she fell to the ground robbed of her senses.

"I have more important matters to deal with than you." he said drawing in the darkness around him. The angel stayed there on the ground. To her utter surprise there he stood still holding Anue in his arms.

"As I've said... my foe is your blade... not you. I will seek you out after I have taken care her.".

As he entered the building he placed Anue in her bed and sat down in a chair next to her. He hoped she would be alright.

Anue's growls grew in volume, clutching the sheets in her hands, her canines extending more and more as the seconds passed. Onidus sat watching her and jumped growling him self as she suddenly reached out and grabbed onto his wrist. Cracking her eyes open she grit her teeth and growled though them.
"Strap me down."
"W-What?"
"You heard me, do it!"
He stared at her for a second until her hand began to glow, heat waves pouring off of it as small flames began to lick at her skin. She groaned in pain as the heat grew, her growls getting more and more intense. She flinched and bared her teeth as Onidus' cell phone rang on his hip, picking it up he finished tying her down to the bed and took a step back.
"Onidus, how is she?"
"I don't really know."
"What do you mean?"
"Her transformation keeps coming and going and now her power seems to be unstable as well."
"She's over heating."
"What?"
"It's never happened at a time like this so we've never had to tell any one else. Her control over fire isn't perfected yet so it has it's draw backs, one of those being that if she doesn't use it often enough it over heats her body. You have to find some way of cooling her off or she's going to expel all the built up heat in a single massive blast. It's not pretty."
"How do I-"
"I don't know, figure something out. We're moving so I have to go. Call me if something comes up on your end."
With that the line went dead, Onidus looked down at Anue as she thrashed about on the bed, gritting her teeth and growling as heat waves began to pour from her body now, not just her hands.
"I have to cool you down...but how...ice?"
Gripping the sheets tighter he could hear the fabric strain as it began to rip and cursed as her top teeth sank into her bottom lip, blood pooling into her mouth and trailing down the side of her cheek. Rushing to the kitchen he brought back a bag of ice and dumped on her, seeing the steam rise and hearing the hiss of the frozen liquid melting he sighed as it seemed to help some but shook his head as it melted quickly, to quickly to work and had to go and grab another bag. He repeated this for almost ten minutes til it seemed to be working, her transformation getting less frequent and the heat waves reducing, as he stood to get another bag he stopped as she gripped his wrist making him look back at her. Her eyes were heavy and she was breathing hard. Her skin glowing slightly as her body cooled down now.
"T-Thanks...Sorry to bother you like that. Rayne fill you in?"
"Yeah, he did."
"What bad timing..."
"I'm sure they'll be fine."
"What about you?"
"I'm fine."
She looked up at him, her hand still gently holding his wrist moved til she was holding his hand, he blinked rapidly at the change but didn't pull away from her.
"I meant about Selene. I might have been in pain, but I was coherent."
"I'll hunt her down and finish what she started."
"I'm going with you."
"No. Your to exhausted."
She shook her head and sat up slowly as he removed the straps he had put on her, she looked at him her green eyes boring into his. He sighed and shook his head.
"Fine."
Giving him a smile she stretched her arms above her head releasing Onidus' hand, sighing as her joints popped, she looked over at him and gave him a bright smile that stretched across her face.
"I'm ready when you are oh might Dogma."
"Dogma?"
She giggled and nodded.
"Yup, supposedly he's this uber strong dog god or something like that."
Rolling his eyes he sat down and looked up at her.
"We'll wait to make sure that your able to go."
"If that's the case, I'm grabbing a bite to eat. Want anything?"
He nodded watching as she went into the kitchen to make a sandwich for the two of them.
