anime4 Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 hey all new dbz episodes coming soon! at sept 3!:toothy: so watch em.
Twinzam v Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Finnaly i know when the new dragonball z episodes start again Why do cartoon network always restart the episodes at the most interesting parts it just makes me so mad:flaming:
SS MajinVegeta Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Ok, well thanks for the info......I guess. Cartoon Network restarts the episodes at the most interesting parts so they can keep it interesting, make the episodes "new" or something.
PiroMunkie Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Well thanks for the update, thuogh technically the episodes aren't "new". New to Toonami, but the episodes have already been released on DVD and VHS. Not to mention the entire series has been done and over with for some time now. By any chance does anyone know which episodes they're going to show before they decide to stop and start replaying old episodes again? Lol..
Justin Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 I imagine they'll finish off the Buu Saga. Ah well, I have my subs...if I ever decide to watch DB/Z/GT again...o.O -Justin
Guest Krillen214 Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Yes, very old. Gt ended some 6 years ago I think. So, these episodes are about 8 years old. ^_^
Sephiroth Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 you never mentioned whether these "new" episodes are for the UK for the US....
Kinetic Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Hopefully both... It's true though...they are new to Toonami, but they are actually quite old :p And the series' buzz died down a long time ago in Japan.
anime4 Posted July 5, 2002 Author Posted July 5, 2002 i mean its new in toonami. im not talking about "oh NEW episodes are coming out in sept 3" thats wat i mean by new not new new i mean new to toonami.
Guest GriffXL Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 yep maybe new in english to america but old in *** to japan hehe. The newest enlgish movies havnt been released have they?
Guest Altron Gundam Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 Any DBZ/GT episode is not new. They just mean never shown before dubbed and slaughtered.
DBZanimeFreak3 Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 for real, they're starting again.and when are they going to start gt in the us. from what i know, it'snot showing here.
Juu Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 They said they would start gt hopefully fall 2003... *shrugs* anyways, I haven't been able to watch the shows restarting.... hopefully I'll get cartoon network back by then....
Rain Posted July 9, 2002 Posted July 9, 2002 Does anyone know when the "new" episodes come out in Australia? Is it sept 3? They stopped showing them halfway thru and started showing the frieza saga:confused:
Kinetic Posted July 9, 2002 Posted July 9, 2002 Lucky for you :p They started from the Saiya-Jin Saga in the U.S. That probably means it will be showing the same time everywhere (if the UK is on Furiza Saga). They probably planned it out to show it in all places at the same time, and will go on from there.
JCBaggee Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Crap! What are they going to do with the re-runs they're showing? I don't think they'll get through with the Frieza Saga by Sept. 3...anyone know if they're going to double up on eps? And are there going to be new Dragon Ball eps too?
Kinetic Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 They will probably either cut straight from the Frieza saga into the rest of the Buu eps, or delay the Buu eps until they are up to the point where they left off. And I don't know if they will show more DB eps, but they probably will once GT starts.
Schrat Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Is there any chance in hell that Gt will start in 4th quarter 2002?? Or will it start sep. 2003?
Kinetic Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 It has been announced 2003, but I don't know when, and they will probably delay it to hell as well.
Schrat Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 lol, knowing funi we wont see Gt for a loooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg time....
Rain Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Yeah, they make so much money off DragonBall/Z, they'll want to postpone the end for as long as they can.
Saiyjin Beijita Posted July 16, 2002 Posted July 16, 2002
Originally posted by Altron Gundam Any DBZ/GT episode is not new. They just mean never shown before dubbed and slaughtered.
It really is sad. Slughtered seems like and understatement. Just for general information. In Japan, you can find a tape set of every Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT episode ever made, including 15 movies for a price of about 50 dollars in U.S. currency. You could probably find it on E-Bay or Amazon. All the work you'd have to do is learn Japanese. The English Subtitled episodes are a tad pricier, but if you do want to experience the Dragonball phenomenon in it's full glory, it's well worth shelling out a pretty penny.
ss2Serren Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 I have a question Did they decide on going he GT episode's as well?
zidane11 Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002
Originally posted by Twinzam v Finnaly i know when the new dragonball z episodes start again Why do cartoon network always restart the episodes at the most interesting parts it just makes me so mad:flaming:
Because they didn't have the new episodes yet or they were still translating them.
