Lol: that's a hat? I thought that was his hair! Typically stupid Sheikahmon... *takes closer look at Xra's avatar* Are those all you? Those little people? O.O Let?s start the RP already! I?m getting another sugar high, and I want to do something with it! WhoooOOOOOoooooOOOOOoooooOOOOOoooo!

OOC: Ooooh! O_o Fuzzy stuff going on! *peeks, gets caught* Uh, whoops. Heh-heh. *guilty grin* Um, anyway... Rei pulls up on her bicycle and locks it to the rack. She looks as nervous as a girl about to go on her first date. The few people who notice her at all fail to notice that she?s loading her purse with TicTacs and candy bars. She stops to eyeball some memo pads, and a few of these slide into her purse. She hit on a new equation for her viruses last night while fighting insomnia and needs more paper to write new viruses on. Now is where Rei is described. She has glasses and pale skin. She looks almost like a Japanese girl, except that she has large, slanted, bright green eyes. She also speaks with a Texas drawl and says ?Yes-sir? or ?No-ma?am? a lot. A bit polite, even for the people around here, who tend to be polite. (OOC: Forgot to mention the glasses in Recruitment. Sorry.) The small girl, as fragile as a glass statuette, approaches the electronics section. She sets herself in front of the graphing calculators display, takes out a TI-83+ of her own, and starts playing a game she had downloaded from the Internet a long time ago... MegaMan. She can entertain herself for hours with this simple program. Or she can boot up a puzzle game like Tetris to play. Or she can putter around with the properties of mathematics to create killer viruses. She has three floppy disks tucked away in the pockets of her pleated brown skirt, along with her other electronics, a Swiss Army knife, a few shuriken improvised from the bottoms of Coke cans, and some daggers made from the sides of the Coke cans. Rei knows how to improvise Coke cans into weaponry, but she doesn?t know the first thing about guns or explosives. Heck, she doesn?t even know hacking too well, except that she can write viruses. Good lord, she can write viruses. But that?s all. She can?t hack. She just messes around. She only pickpockets small things because she knows that most people won?t miss small things. She only shoplifts small things because they don?t trace the small things. She doesn?t have anything she can make a living from. What the hell is she doing, trying to join this ?Thieves? Guild?? She can?t make a living shoplifting TicTacs or pickpocketing pennies! And yet... That e-mail said there might be other people there who could teach her to steal. And if she learned a thief?s art from a professional... OOC: If somebody wants to volunteer as Rei?s ?tutor? once the Guild catches up to her, go ahead and either PM me or pose your char volunteering to teach her. Whatever works best for you.

This looks interesting. I'd like to join, but I don't have the time to think up and type out an entry right now. I'll either edit or post up here later. I enter more RPGs than I know what to do with.

What am I gonna wear tomorrow? I'm joining a bunch of thieves from all over the world. I can't just show up in my boring old school uniform. I mean, it's just plain brown! And my parents would notice if I wore my dress clothes to Target... Rei sighs and sets out her school uniform. It's the only clothes she has besides her Sunday dress. After a few reconsiderations, she raids the kitchen counter where her dad has always left some loose change. She pens a goodbye note, to be left in public at a second's notice. The note doesn't say where she's going or who she will be with. She knows better than that. She takes an old secondhand purse and fills it with cash and token jewelry, along with a few pieces of makeup. I don't think I can do anything else but wait for tomorrow and take a pill for my insomnia...

When are you going to start the RPG? I wanna start RPing! (Sheikahmon loves to play games) Note: I will probably not be able to post every day. If my grades start dropping, my parents will cut my computer access, and my grades have a nasty habit of doing that. Also, Candy may (and probably will) wind up losing some duels (though I can guarantee wins against somebody like Weevil Underwood from the TV show... I hate his guts.*barfs*) She will also occasionally give somebody a telekinetic wedgie, especially if they bother her.

OOC: Sorry about the lack of posts. I don't get to a computer very often. I'll have Rei pose emailing Ace an apology, too. Also note that Rei is a very trusting softie. She's likely to be duped a lot, by people in or out of the Guild. *** Rei types: Sorry, my parents saw me in that phone booth the other day. My personal stats: I'm fifteen, a fishie in high school, best at math, something of a hacker, though I specialize in minor shoplifting and some pickpocketing. I know almost NOTHING about the wide world of thievery and would love to learn it. My dad is out at a bar getting drunk and playing it up with ladies right now, and my mom told me to get my homework done. I live in Houston, Texas, USA. Can you get to the Target on I-10 near Blalock... say, tomorrow? (and could you find some way to disable the stupid magnetized security thingies that see whether you've stolen stuff?) Ace catches the e-mail and replies: A know-nothing? You won't be the youngest, and we'll see if we can maybe teach you a little about the more dramatic types of thievery. Our new leader used to lead a "Mafia"-type thief family, so I think we'll be okay with a newbie. Texas, hmm? The Guild is in Italy right now, but we can probably make it (our boss can pull some long strings). As to the magnetic security "thingies"... we'll see what we can do. No promises, though. Rei e-mails: Thank you! I'll be in the electronics section, looking at graphing calculators and three-and-a-half-inch floppy disks.

Name: Candy Shoppe Age: 13 Deck: Candy likes Dragons, Spellcasters, and Warrior-Types. She is especially fond of low-level monsters that she can power up to insane levels with minimal effort. Her favorite is the ?Maha Vailo?. Powerful and rare cards have been seen in her deck, though, so few people know what to expect. (To those who do know, beating Candy is like taking her from a baby?:p) Favored cards: Maha Vailo, Malevolent Nuzzler (x3), Axe of Despair (x3), Book of Secret Arts, Mystical Elf, Ancient Elf (x3), Patrician of Darkness (a zombie-type), Princess of Tsurugi (x3, with a lot more out of the deck), Cosmo Queen, Cave Dragon, the Dragon Dwelling in the Cave, Winged Dragon, Curse of Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Warrior Dai Grepher, Celtic Guardian, Wolf Axwielder, the A. Forces, and a few more... Rarest card: Cosmo Queen (ATK: 2900, DEF: 2500) Appearance: A small, slim girl with fluffy pink hair like cotton candy. She wears a white tunic and baggy red pants. Bio: Candy actually has a halfway Japanese heritage. Her mother was the 107th miko (Shinto temple girl, often believed to have psychic powers--hint, hint) to serve the goddess Uzume (goddess of entertainment and show-biz). As the 108th miko, Candy has extremely intensified powers (108 is a special number). She spends a lot of time praying, meditating, and training to increase her power, though she still can?t predict the future or read her opponent?s mind. Her white-and-red outfit is her miko clothes. Believe it or not, Candy loves sweet treats and caffinated sodas. Her favorite ?Scout on Sailor Moon is, of course, Sailor Mars, whose secret identity is a temple girl. Candy gets frustrated easily, especially by men and boys who make fun of her name. Candy?s powers are limited to telekinesis and some healing ability. No mind-reading. No fortune-telling. And it actually takes her less effort to hold her dueling cards by hand so she can use her mind for what she?s going to do next...

My earlier attachment didn't work as well as I'd hoped, so I'm going to try again.

A slim shape hunched over the serenely glowing screen of a laptop computer. She ran a hand through her short, painfully straight black hair. No light reflected off the dark clothes she was wearing. By day, she was Rei Ijyun, a nobody. By night, she wished to be something different, like a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde persona, but even at night, even in her hariest hacks, she was only Rei Ijyun, the nobody. Being "nobody" was her art. "Nobody" sneaked quarters from her parents' wallets when their backs were turned. "Nobody" snuck candy bars, Yugioh cards, and TicTacs from the convenience store to sell them contraband to the other students at school. And "nobody" was hacking into a bank account now. Rei: Just a little longer... *screen pops up* Yes! *opens another folder on the computer, copies some text, and pastes it into the command option* There! Now I gotta log off before I get caught with my hand in the cookie jar... *types and clicks a few times* What's this? *reads* A Thieves' Guild? For people who live to take that which isn't theirs... Well, I can't say I don't do too much of that these days... Name: Rei (not Ray, you idiots) Age: Teenager (not too specific) Reputation? I don't have one. If I did, though, it would be "Newbie Thief" or something like that. I don't do much...

Aww, heck, Xra, I'll give it a shot. I remember playing some real fun RPGs with you. Remember Pokemon: Exploration?:D Name: Dee (which is a take on my real name! I hope my sis doesn't figure me out!) Age: unknown (She got amnesia five years ago and forgot. She has somehow not aged and still appears to be a teenager) Appearance: Long brown hair, bright green eyes. White t-shirt and blue jeans. Pretty typical anime gal. Bio: She was discovered by a couple five years ago, walking around in the streets half-naked. All she knew was her name. Now, she knows some math and stuff. She ran away from "home" two weeks ago to try to find out where she came from. (please don't ask for details, or else I'll just :babble: ) OOC: Dee is an android (but doesn't know it), is that okay? Reason for traveling with Xra: Kind of obvious, she has the same general mission that he does. Will that work? (It's really crazy and kind of short, but then, so am I.:p)

Name: Rei Ijyun (an almagation of Rei Ayanami from Evangileon and Akira Ijyun from the CLAMP manga The Man of Many Faces... thppp :p ) Appearance: A pretty stereotypical Japanese girl: short, straight black hair, usually wears a preppy school uniform, short stature, pale skin, slanted green eyes (the only part of her that's not stereotypically Japanese). She tends to get lost in a crowd (and the teacher always forgets to call on her in class). Age: Surprisingly young, Rei is 15 and a freshman in high school. She takes Advanced-Placement math (Pre-calculus) and several computer courses. Specialty: Pickpocketing, shoplifting (small items that she can fit in her pockets), and some hacking (hence the computer courses) Bio: still working on it, update later. Don't expect much, as she's only a teenager. *Update* Bio: Rei was born on the auspicious day of the leap year. Her parents, an accountant and an engineer, noticed when she entered sixth grade that their daughter had quite the head for numbers. She was always averaging things and adding up the numbers from the nutrition charts on the cereal box, though she could never remember to turn in her homework (which resulted in her getting only mediocre grades). They signed their little prodigy up for some Advanced Placement (AP) courses and saw that she got the same grades in AP math as she did in normal math (though Language Arts and Social Studies were abominations). Since then, Rei has got an electronic planner and improved her math scores significantly by taking notes for her homework. But Rei?s parents didn?t know about her secret life. When she was seven, Rei stole a caramel candy from the grocery store. Soon, she was stealing handfuls of candy at a time without getting caught. Rei delighted in her shoplifting talent, though she rued the day when the local convenience store put in an alarm system. The twelve-year-old Rei learned to sneak quarters out of her parents? wallets to buy contraband sodas at school, even when her parents were carrying their wallets. She rarely steals anything big, knowing that it would be missed. Rei discovered the Guild while mucking around on the Internet. She signed up as soon as she could accumulate the credentials. Her hacking isn?t worth much, though her math skill enables her to write complex codes for killer viruses she can use to crash almost any computer. Reputation: Umm... ?Newbie thief?? Rei doesn?t have a rep... yet. Gender: Female (duh) Weapon: Carries daggers, shuriken, and a water pistol. Her most powerful weapons are her small electronics: a graphing calculator (with some games on it), a little electronic address book (with locations for easy-to-steal stores), an electronic diary (where she keeps codes for viruses), and a few 3 and 1/2 inch floppy disks. Quote: ?Who, me?? (accompanied by ?Bambi-eyes?) Secret Weakness: Goes ga-ga for cute guys, and it seems the Guild has a lot of them...

Name: Aidan Age: 18 Element: Fire Description: A Proxian of the blue-skinned variety. Aidan has shocking red-orange hair in two pigtails, with her bangs sticking out over her face. Her eyes are red, and she has longer ears than most Proxians. Background: A cousin of Saturos who wishes he hadn't died at Venus Lighthouse. She also used to be a friend to both Menardi and Karst and laments their deaths, as well. She gets irritated easily (like most Mars Adepts), and when she does, the usual effect is that her hair will catch fire (though it never seems to burn off completely). Aidan also uses quite a bit of harsh language, which WILL be bleeped (or my equivalent of being bleeped, the substituting of a smilie for an obscenity). Weapon: Scythe (Also: Flaming Hairballs!!! No, just kidding)

Yes, we would like help with getting the Tuni Nut fixed, please. And I would like my little bro to stop hovering over my shoulder.:flaming: And thank you for your help with Oracle of Seasons, Desbreko (I hope I spelled it right).
-
Now my brother wants to know how to get to the 4th dungeon keyhole on Oracle of Seasons, and both my brother and I need to figure out how to get to the 4th Dungeon in Oracle of Ages (If there's another thread for Oracle of Ages help, LET ME FREAKING KNOW because I haven't yet found it.). We're both in Symmetry City.
-
My kid brother is having some issues with the same game, and ever since I let him save his quest over my file, he's been having trouble with things I don't remember from when I was playing. He's near the location of the fourth dungeon, and he needs the aid of Moosh (I think), but he can't find the bananas that Moosh wants before helping him. Can somebody tell me (so I can tell him) what he needs to do? Also, something I posted in another Oracle of Seasons thread: Do Subrosians have hair? I don't need to know, but it would explain Rosa's hair bow.
-
I am too 15! I may act a little immature, but that's just me! I am 15! Also, I can't post every day. My parents don't let me have Internet access every day, not even to check my e-mail. If that means I can't be in this RPG, PM me about it and let me know.

I'd like to take a shot at this, though I know absolutely nothing about the Matrix (my parents won't let me see it! :bawling: ). Name: Daina "Dee" Age: 15 (would you believe me if I said I was a Leap Year Baby?) Height: Five feet, four-and-a-half inches Eye color: Somewhere between green and brown... looks like a dog crapped in ?em Hair color: Dunno. All I?ve got is stubble, and that does not look good on anybody except perhaps Eminem. (it will be kind of a light orangish brown color) Life Bio in the M: I was hooked on computer games. Little did I know I was living one. I was really good at math, as in the Gifted/Talented (G/T) program at school, but I was less than mediocre in my other courses (Lessee... a D in Geography, a B in English and Science). In my spare time, I would play with a GameBoy. Games like Pokemon (Blue and Gold versions), Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, and Golden Sun, with lots of anime, storylines, and cut scenes. My dream man was Ivan from Golden Sun. Time of Awakening: Three days ago, I think. I just now made it to the surface. Equipment: I?m starving, cold, helpless, and half NAKED! I?ve got a piece of an old Coke can, and I?m trying to shape it to make a half-decent knife. There are some viscious rats around here. I managed to kill one, and I tried to eat it, but I just vomited it. Maybe they got rabies or something? I got a few scraps of grimy cloth and stuff I tied around myself, but it?s more revealing than a thong bikini (which I hate because they show too much).

OOC: A lot of Ayako?s posts are going to be mostly description or other people talking. Ayako DOES NOT SPEAK unless she absolutely has to, and then she speaks in a whisper. So she does not get into long, involved conversations with the other characters. IC: Red eyes silently watched the raging battle. They belonged to a girl who did not seem to care who was good and who was evil, so long as she got paid. The man called Basuka was very good with his weapons. The girl with the glaive was very good with that. She also held an aura of mystic power about her. Ayako had learned to discern those with magic abilities when she had studied with her parents at a temple once. Now, she could sense that many of the people there had potent magical powers. But Ayako had also learned how to battle against people with powers and win. Ayako was a silent ninja mercenary. She killed when she was paid to kill, she battled when she was paid to battle. All of her battles were to the death, and since Ayako was still alive, it can be presumed that it was all of her foes that died. She rarely spoke. When she wanted to get an idea across, she nodded, shook her head, or gestured until she got it across. She rarely employed any form of communication, however. Right now, Ayako was looking for a job. It could be anything for all she cared, so long as she got paid. Girl mercenaries were uncommon because no man wanted to admit that a girl could do a job bettern than they could. As a result, Ayako often had to forego pay, and she had learned to go a long time without food. If one of these people wanted a warrior or a ninja or an assasin, then Ayako could perhaps get a job. And then she could get food and maybe even a drink at a local bar, though it was not often she got a decent mug of ale, beer, or wine. Ayako moved stealthily closer to the battle. These people were powerful. Would any of them have a job to offer her?
-
I'll take a shot at this, if nobody minds. Name: Ayako Age:17 Gender: Female Class: Ninja/fire-mage Weapon: Which one? Uses black obsidian daggers, a pair of twin swords, and a long staff with equal aptitude and efficiency (also uses other weapons, which will be described when she takes them out. Just be aware that she has all sorts of weapons concealed on her person). Description: Black hair tied in two braids. Red eyes, enhancing her fire magic. Usually wears a black tunic, black tight-fitting pants, and a red cape. I?ll add a piccie when I make it. Bio: Ayako was born to a pair of stereotypical ninjas. Her parents trained her as well as they could, then turned her loose to fend for herself. Ayako has indeed fended for herself, and she has surpassed most people with her ninja skills. Nobody knows where her fire-powers came from, including Ayako. She got a late start on training her special abilities, so right now, she can do little more than to light wood or tinder on fire. She does not speak much, and generally nods or shakes her head to get her opinion across. When she speaks, she says no more than is needed. She is a bit of a loner, but when others earn her trust, she is fiercely loyal.

Writing The Legend of Zelda: Heart of a Dragon
Sheikahmon replied to Sheikahmon's topic in Creative Works
That was not a comment I was expecting. This was actually a spur-of-the-moment post, I was not really expecting anybody to like it. But, then again... Um, Dragons constitute a pretty major species in my book. Why wouldn't the Goddesses intervene? Oh, well. I'll see what I can do about adding more to this story. It's the first one people have actually liked.:toothy: -
*nostalgic sigh* My best bud just got caught making use of my Oracle of Seasons game in class, so I won't get it back until summer. Ever notice that when you enter Malon and Talon's house, there's a little cucco chick that follows you everywhere in that house? It seems to like me. Here's how I know: I pick up a normal hen with the Power Bracelet, and it runs away. I pick up the chickie and put it down, and it sits there and hops in front of my freakin' nose! Also: Hit the normal hen with a sword. It runs away. Just try hitting the little chickie with the sword! It doesn't get hurt! Wonder what happens if you hit the chickie with a Mystery Seed...? Link: *throws Mystery Seed. Chick grows about ten feet tall* Eep!

The Legend of Zelda: Heart of a Dragon Disclaimer: I don?t own Link, the three Goddesses, Zelda, or anybody that appears in the Legend of Zelda video games. I do own Jaieah. If you take the characters in the video games, that?s called fanfiction. If you take Jaieah, that?s called plagarism, and it means I will be taking your butt to court. Note: There is some strong language in this story (which will be bleeped), as well as some potential idiotic references to other video games or other topics on OB. It is, after all, written by Sheikahmon. There is also the death of a few good guys. In other words, if you don?t like it, DON?T READ IT! Additional note: The names of the Goddesses are in all caps. If this makes reading hard for you, I apologize. She was calm. In the face of the return of the ancient threat, this one was calm. She had to watch over her nest. She had to ensure the survival of at least one female of her species, even if it meant her own death. The males would not be needed. But a female had to be present to keep the species alive. She watched the Ancient Evils burn the land, horrible illusions that pretended to be the greatest members of that species. The Hylians, decieved by the ancient Evil and the false images, destroyed all the members of the species themselves. One Hylian, though, managed to destroy one of the Evil Ones, and then he destroyed the leader of the Evil Ones, banishing them all to the Dark Realm. The Hylians would take her for an Evil One. She had to find a way to keep the one female in her clutch safe so that that one could continue the species when she herself was sealed away in the Dark Realm to die. ?DIN, NAYRU, FARORE,? she implored the aid of all three Goddesses, ?Please help me keep this little one safe, that she may rescue all my species from the Ancient Evils, should they ever return. Help her to grow up strong, wise, and courageous, that she may keep to goodness and so that the Hylians learn that she is not an Evil One.? Her prayer to all three Goddesses completed, she turned to each one in turn. ?DIN, please, ensure that my daughter has power enough to withstand the most awful of tortures. NAYRU, help me to know that I am doing the right thing. FARORE, grant me the courage to face the Dark Realm, and the Evils within, with a smile on my face.? Her large ears twitched. She heard the war cries of Hylians as they assembled in huge groups to destroy her. ?Power, wisdom, courage, mighty Goddesses three,? she prayed frantically, ?Help defend the child that I shall never see.? She stared imploringly at the egg that contained her only daughter, as though expecting it to glow or something, for a long moment. Then, she slowly walked down the cliff to her doom. She moved calmly, regally, as if she was a queen that deserved to be showered with praise and gifts, but there were acid tears slowly burning dark swaths down her long face. ***** There was silence in the caveren for a long time. The Hylians, however, knew where this nest was. The eggs would not be safe for long. The three of them knew all of this. ?(censored) Hylians,? said the first, tossing a firey red mane over her shoulder. ?We should strike them with lightning when they get close to that cave!? A pale hand touched the redhead?s shoulder. ?Nonsense. Power is not a solution for many conflicts. Ganon turned evil with the mere touch of your essence, dear sister.? The bluenette?s hair swirled gracefully down her back. ?We should hide the young one from everybody for a long time. Then, she will be better equipped to face the world and the threat of Evil Ones and Hylians.? The third cocked her head, creating some interesting angles with her green pigtails. ?We could try both. We hide her, and let our temperamental sister defend us from any with thoughts to destroy her. My gifts would be needed for both parts of that plan, though.? The bluenette smiled. ?We are supposed to all work together. Your plan sounds the best yet. We do not have very much time, however, so we must hide her quickly, before the Hylians come intent on destroying her!? The trio nodded and vanished. ***** The female egg was still sitting peacefully in the cave, as if unaware of the sacrifice her mother had been forced through or the fact that the Hylians were indeed coming with awful intentions for her. Fire suddenly swirled up through the bottom of the cave, forming a roughly humanoid shape. ? ?Tis safe for now, sisters,? the flame-figure called in a booming, feminine voice. A lithe form sprang from the small spring the mother drank from. ?I am here.? Its voice had the same sonorous quality of the fire-being?s, but without the seeming danger. ?I wish I could take on such a substantial form,? a third voice, as loud as the first two, lamented. It had a green glow for a body, and yet there was a fierceness somewhere deep within. The water-spirit gestured to the female egg. ?We must take her and go. Now.? It sank into the stone floor, which dissolved as though the being was made of acid. The green figure pushed the egg into the hole and sank in with the water-being. The fire-form was the last one left. It swirled and whirled around, creating a firey tornado, which strew stones everywhere. When the fire-tornado vanished, the hole, the female egg, and all three spirits had vanished. ***** ?She is awake in there!? The green-haired one called to her sisters. ?She will be hatching soon, and then where shall we keep her? We cannot hide her like this forever. She will soon become as big as a house! Almost as big as Hyrule Palace!? The two others came running. ?Do not worry, courageous sister,? the bluenette said. ?We shall hide her fairly well. I think there may well be a way to persuade your own handcrafted hero to care for her.? The redhead shook her head. ?I know the Gerudos might take her in, but she would be known for what she was all throughout Hyrule in a matter of days! Mistress Know-All is keeping all her precious plans to herself!? ?No more!? The bluenette laughed. ?Let me explain?? ?It may work,? one said, bobbing her green pigtails. ?May I bless her first?? the redhead quiried. ?I know this sounds cheesey, but I?ve grown rather fond of her.? They all blessed the little unhatched female, bestowing upon her the courage to defend what was right, the power to battle what was wrong, and the wisdom to know the difference. At last they said their fond goodbyes to the egg. ?Be brave,? said FARORE, Goddess of Courage. ?Be wise and good,? wished NAYRU, Goddess of Wisdom. DIN, Goddess of Power, was the last to bid farewell. ?If anyone tries to kill you, just get in there and kick their (beep).? ?DIN!!!!? The other two scolded. ***** ... That?s about all for now. Let me know if you want me to keep writing this. If not, don?t post. I?ll figure it out in about a week.

Once, Nintendo played a big prank on the world by pointing out that there were ways to get the Triforce in OoT, to save the game after defeating Ganon, and to travel to the Zora Realm as Adult Link and not have it be frozen over. It seems nobody noticed that the Triforce looked flat and two-D, or that "Adult Link" looked awfully short in the Zora Realm, or that the date on the article was April 1...

Brr... cool start. What happens next?
