I started this a while ago while sitting around and listening to AFI, "This Time Imperfect" from [i]Sing The Sorrow[/i] to be exact. I know there are a few mistakes, like the left leg being too long to be further in the background than the right. And before anyone says anything, yes, he's male and yes, he's meant to be that skinny. Anyways, enjoy. If want to help me add graffitti-styled lyrics, please PM me. It'd be greatly appreciated. Comments welcomed. On an off-topic note, I'm considering taking art next year at my school. Problem is the teacher seems to focus more on realism, or at least, she will for the 5 to 10 pieces I'd need to finish in about two weeks. Would anyone like to provide some advice to the perpetually confused?

Since I can't post anything at home, I had to wait until I had some free time at school. Anyways, here's my two latest poems. The first is about the suicide of Lady Macbeth (sorry to anyone reading the play if you like her). The second is a rewrite of an early poem of mine by the same name. Enjoy. [u]a persephone's madness[/u] all that we've done wash it all away i said it would go away that's exactly what i told him the spot should be gone by now why does it linger so? the scrubbing at it my skin was so raw but there it is still but, the smell oh, the smell! you can almost taste the stench! not a single perfume can get rid of it and the more scents and oils, the more the odor amplifies itself! but there is one way... one sweet way... i can use these sheets or this candelabra or even my own nails and teeth anything to run from that horrid cologne on my hands! should i wait for my husband? surely, he must also hope for the delectible oblivion but all the eau he has bathed himself since i gave him that fruit of death! no, he won't want this but it will be served to him now to end this to end this persphone's madness [u]masquerade[/u] i walk into the ballroom, my bloodred dress swaying gracefully with the my hips. a pure white mask covers my face, hiding it like everyone else's. i look through the thin slits and survey the picturesque scene: the couples dancing gleefully; the smiles on the masks; the hidden truths that must be behind them. everyone there has their own perfect match, it seems. but i am left alone. the crowds part like a miracle as the song ends. fate must be with me this night. for there you stood: my prince, my knight, my love. and wearing a mask of white as well. we talked and danced the night away, losing yourselves in the moment. when night had gone and day was soon to come, just as the last notes of the last song chimed, like a bell ending a service, you took my hand and looked deep into my eyes. in that one moment, i thought i loved you. but something so precious can easily be stolen in an instant. when you removed the mask of the purest white, i saw only myself, reflected continuously in your eyes.

Since my other threads seem to suddenly die, probably because I have extremely short spasms of inspiration, I decided to add a little more to my threads. Well, I didn't use many... (see attachment) For some reason last Thrusday, I took a picture of the sun. I'm still not quite sure why, but I like it. Also for no apparent reason. PS: I believe that black mass with a purple edge to be the actual sun and the rest to be a glare. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ------- Comments, critizism, and other such feedback is appreciate and welcomed.

In my English class, we're reading Shakespeare's [i]Macbeth[/i], which I love so far. Anyways, after finishing Act I, I wrote this poem about Lady Macbeth, who is my favoruite character so far for reasons still unknown and under investigation. Well, here's the poem. ----- Sing your songs of purest joy Feel the darkness within your heart Show the warmth within your face Feel the coldness you seem to radiate Be the lovely and kind hostess who gives her home to others Be the calculating murderer who plans the perfect crime Be the wonderful wife who helps her husband Be the merciless voice of temptation in his ear Be the rose Be the thorn Be the wine Be the poison But never show your truest face Show only the perfect mask And the world will never know ----- What do you think?

I made these three banners yesterday since I needed one for BB's boards. I really couldn't think of anything I really wanted to did with them in GIMP, so I went back to using just Paint and MGI for all editting and then GIMP for scaling. Comments please? Now that I've caught your attention, I'd like some feedback on this sketch. I tried a different style, at least with the body, and want to know what you think. I already know that the head is disproportioned (thanks to BB for that) and I'm trying to avoid it in future attempts with this style. Anyways, comments appreciated as always. You're mission, if you choose to accept it and you'd better, is to free the entertainment industry from the bondage of big business and not lose your soul in the process. The basic is you are an up-and-coming artist/band who would, under normal circumstances, would do anything for a following. I like both. It could just be that I love instrumentals, even if there were no lyrics in the first place. I love the drums and the flow of both. Can't wait to here more. How do you make these anyway?
