*squeals* I've been waiting for an RPG like this.. o.O;; Name: Yuki Hikiroshima Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: See attachment. Personality: Yuki tends to be withdrawn about herself, but she is definately not shy. Daring and witty, Yuki loves to speak her mind. Especially to teachers and bullies. Yuki has a large number of friends, but none of which are very close due to her tendency to hide inside her "shell" of a personality. Complex and confused, Yuki desperatly searches for an escape, or at least a close someone. When invited to parties, which she always is, she becomes the center of attention, always doing stupid and dangerous things either to get a laugh or just to show someone that she would do it. Her daringness, however, has sometimes gotten others hurt, and in turn, she has gotten in trouble. Her disrespect for authority has her prone to being picked out for a crime against the school. Extra Notes: Yuki loves to fly. She dreams sprouting wings and escaping, or levitating, or something to get her away from the prison of gravity. Love: At one party, Yuki met a boy, and stayed him the entire time. The boy made her laugh constantly, and danced quite well. She does not know his name, but he knows hers. Desperate to meet him again, she has, of late, become less outgoing in ways of impressing others, and spends most of her time searching for him.

Dragon Warrior can turn moderators into plushies?! Oh my goshums.. He really is sexyful, isn't he? And what position, exactly, were the moderators, team leaders, and admins in, hmm? That part disturbed me. >.>;; Who knew James slept on the job. Who knew? To think, that one of the most important members of this "Otakuville"... drooled. 'Tis a wonderful thing. Now I can use that as black mail if I need to... mwahahaha... And yes, Methy (may I call you "Methy"? >.< ), I look forward to the next chapterses. :

Ooh! Yayses! I remember when we discussed this through our nonsense-ridden PM chats! We're gonna take down DW. Woot! I feel so specialness. I cannot wait for the next chapters. (And finally! An Otakuboards fanfic with me in it! :p )

"Damn I'm bored," Rin muttered, laying on the couch and flipping through channels. "Then go outside," her mother shouted from the kitchen. "We're in the middle of a lightning storm, mom!" she shouted back. Almost as if on cue, when she said, "mom", the lights went out, and the TV flickered off. "Damn it! Now the powers' out.." "Go on your labtop, then. I know that thing has a battery. I bought it and checked myself!" "Fine," Rin sighed, getting up for what seemed like the first time in days. She went upstairs and closed the door to her room, making it pitchblack. She walked blindly into her chair, and sat down, rubbing her stomach. She pulled up the labtop, the screen instantly blinking on, blinding her for a moment. No power means no internet. And I don't want to type anything. So I guess I can play a computer game.. But I only have this old Monster Network game. I haven't played that for months. She reached over and put the disk into her computer, and searched her desk for the old MC. When she finally found it, she put it on her lap and looked up at the screen. MC Username: Connect "I forgot my old username. I guess I'll make a new one," Rin explained to herself. MC Username: Kitty Connect Rin clicked on "Connect" and waited for it to load. Her computer was new, so the loading time was a lot faster. What is your monster's name: What gender it will be: What element do you want it to control: Make My Monster "Last time.. I think I did Zinta, female, and darkness. This time I'll do.." she said as she typed in the data. What is your monster's name: Uindo What gender it will be: Male What element do you want it to control: Wind/Lightning Make My Monster Rin scrolled the mouse over the "Make My Monster" option and clicked, once again waiting for a very short load time to pass. Connect the MC to your computer Doing as she was told, Rin grabbed the cable and linked her MC to her labtop, having a bit of trouble in the dark. But in a few short moments, she managed to find the cable port and hooked it up. A small, sky blue, and gray dotted egg flashed in front of her. "I forgot how fun this was," Rin muttered to herself, glowing with excitement. As the egg began shaking and cracking, a small lizard head popped out. Glinting yellow eyes stared up at her as the rest of her creature emerged from the egg shell. "Hello Uindo," she practically giggled. Hello Rin. She suddenly remembered the creatures' ability to talk. "I wish I could pet you. Too bad you're a holigram." The lizard merely stared back, his eyes examining every inch of the girl that sat before it. She reached her hand out and tried to place her hand inside its chest, like she had done her first time with Monster Network. But this time, her hand felt scales. She recoiled it in shock, her eyes piercing the creature that floated infront of her. "You.... You are real," she whispered, reaching her hand to him once again. I do not feel unreal. "I wouldn't expect you to," she chuckled, her hand stroking his head. "May I hold you?" I would be honored, the lizard bowed. "Damn, you're polite," she laughed. Am I not supposed to be? Uindo asked, oblivious to her joke. "I don't know. But don't think too much about it," she told him, picking him up and holding him in her arms. What is that I hear? Uindo asked her. "The rain," Rin replied, gently rocking him in her arms. She had never had a pet. And even though they had known eachother for a few minutes, Rin already felt as if they were best friends. She had never had one of those, either. And as their knowing silence continued, Uindo looked out the Rin's room window. It sounds beautiful.

"Hey.. what happened to that Rhym guy?" Kitten muttered. "Rhym?" "Yeah. He offered to take us to his garage, remember? I forgot he was even there when that asshole pickpocketed me. Too bad for him, that thing was empty. It had a number or two in it, but that was it." "Heh. Mine had a little money in it, but not much," zisagawa added. "Yeah. I'm going to go back," Kitten said suddenly. "I can take you," he offered. "No thanks. A mech isn't good for travel around town. See you later, then?" "It's okay, I'll go with you. I'll finally be able to see that mech of yours." The two of them headed off back towards where they had run into Rhym. And, sure enough, he was still there. "Hey!" Kitten called, running towards him, closely followed by zisagawa. "Forgot about me, did ya?" he asked, holding up their wallets. "You.." "Got them back? I noticed him take them long before you two did," he laughed. "Thanks," Kitten muttered, grabbing her wallet from his hand. "I couldn't let such a crime go unpunished, you know. Players like that are a pain in the ass." "I know what you mean," zisagawa added. The other two turned to him and stared at him for a second. "Well, before we were so rudely interuppted," Rhym chuckled, "I was offering you a choice to stop by my garage, wasn't I?" "Yes, you were. Actually, he got his mech filled up," she said, pointing to zisagawa behind her, "but mine still needs fuel. Could you come with me, then lead me to your garage?" "Sure. I always enjoy accompanying others," Rhym said happily. Zisagawa stayed silent and sulked after them as they headed back to Gray. When they reached the "Meteor", Kitten, Rhym and zisagawa saw Gray standing by his lonesome outside the door. "Hey!" Kitten called. "Hey. Who're they?" Gray asked, pulling her aside. "Some new... 'friends'. Where'd Angy go?" "Dunno. I think she saw someone she knew. Hasn't come back yet." "Yeah, well I found a nice place where we can call the Griffyn to without being noticed. And Rhym here," she added, pointing to the player beside her, "has a garage where we can fuel it up." "Great, lets go." "What about Angy?" "She'll catch up," Gray smiled. Kitten laughed, then ran off, closely followed by the other three, to the unpopulated part of town where they could call the Griffyn.

Running off to find a safe place to summon the Griffyn, Kitten ran into a young boy. "Ow!" she muttered, falling to the ground. "You okay?" he asked her, holding out his hand to her. She waved it away and got up herself, brushing the dirt off. "Yeah. Sorry. Wasn't watching where I was going.." While still cleaning herself off, she noticed him staring at her. "Uh.. What?" "Oh.. huh?" "What's wrong? You're staring at me. Is there dirt on my face or something?" "Oh, uh, no. No," he muttered. "Right..." she said, shaking it off. "Well, I'll be going now." "Wait!" "Huh?" "Uh.. My username's zisagawa," he stuttered awkwardly. "Nice to meet you," Kitten said, walking past him. "Hey," he said, grabbing her hand. "Aren't you going to tell me your username?" "Kitten." "That's a great name," he said. "Yeah.." she said, glancing to his hand which still held hers. "Um.. I have to go now.." "Hey, do you know a place to get fuel for mechs? Mine's almost all out." "Now that you mention it, no I don't. That isn't good. What if our mech runs out?" she began trailing off. "'Our'? You mean mine and yours?" "No," Kitten stated blandly, "I mean mine and a friends." "Well.. Hey, can I travel along with you?" "What?" "Like, can I go with you? To wherever it is you're going?" "Why?" He paused, thinking of what to say.

Real Name: Rin Amai Monster Network Username: Kitty Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: See attachment. Just... without the ears and tail. >.< Personality: Rin keeps to herself most of the time. Even if she's quiet, Rin would do whatever she wants. She's not afraid of what others think of her at all. When she has something to say, she'll say it. Some call her rude, but she likes to think of herself as painfully honest. The way she acts around others depends on what she thinks of them. Complete strangers she likes to "toy" with. When she battles, it's like she puts her entire self into her partner. During battles she is no longer secluded and bored, but instead she's determined, outspoken, and eager. History: Rin has had a horrible past. Even though she was born into a loving and peaceful family, her personality clashed with everyone else's. She became an outcast in her own home. She was sent to a public school, but was expelled three weeks later for nearly killing another student. When asked why she did it, she can't think of a reason. Her parents then sent her to a private school, where she managed to stay out of trouble. Because of what she had done, and in order to prevent her from doing it again, her parents made her stay quiet. This made the others never really accept her. Instead, she was teased, bullied, and chased around until she couldn't take it anymore. She burnt down her school at the tender age of 12. Luckily for her, the police convicted someone else in her place with a lack of evidence against her. Her older brother then began acting out, and soon, the two of them were arrested all the time, and were banned from almost everywhere in town. Their parents disowned them, sending them into foster care. The two of them were seperated after being kicked out from three foster homes together. In her fourth home, Rin ended up with a family of rich folk. They had no children, and had always wanted a boy, but they kept her and gave her everything. They even homeschooled her because she didn't want to go to school. One day, she recieved a game for her fourteenth birthday. It was called "Monster Network". She played almost everyday, and gained lots of friends, and was even a different person in the game. Sometimes, she'll play for days at a time, not doing anything else. Ultimate Goal in MN: To escape ::Your Monster Sign-up:: Name: Uindo Gender: Male Appearance: A dragon. Child - A tiny four-legged lizard, the size of a dog, with small wings at all four of its ankles. Its scales are blue and light gray. Teen - A lizard the size of a panther, with wings spouting out of its back, and a longer tail. Becomes blue and darker gray. Adult - A large dragon, being twice as big as its previous stage, large navy blue wings from its back, and three tails. Its head is decorated in spikes on the side, and has large fangs, visible even with mouth closed. It is the same colors except its three tails are black. Element: Wind/Lightning Attacks: Simple - Shock- A damaging amount of static electricity sparks from the wings along his ankles, then circles around the opponent and shocks them, usually stunning them for a short time. Intermediate - Conduct- Depending on the amount of energy Uindo has available, he can conduct large amounts of electricy, which surrounds him, making a sort of barrier which he can use to protect himself from attacks, or even use to damage the opponent. Or he can summon large amounts of wind and do the same thing. Advanced - Tornado- With large flaps of his wings, he creates a small army of tornadoes, which are quite a formidable force. Can do lots of damages and trap an opponent from escaping. Ultimate - Storm- Lots of dark clouds are summoned, encircling the opponent and attacking them with large bolts of lightning and once the clouds disperse, strong gusts of wind attack them at such great speeds that they leave gashes and wounds. Then, finally, they are trapped in tornadoes and hurricanes, followed by several thunder storms. Takes lots of energy from Uindo. Offensive/Defensive: Offensive -
After landing quietly, the two of them ran over to the ball of metal that had passed them on the way down. "What is it?" Kitten asked, kneeling down next to it. "I don't know. Do you think anyone heard us land?" "No. But they had to have heard this thing. I mean, we heard it and we were still in the air! That loud clunk will bring people up to the roof soon." "Maybe it came from the Griffyn?" Gray suggested. "How? Did it have stray metal balls made of scraps in the storage compartment?" Kitten asked sarcastically. "Maybe." The two of them left it on the roof and ran down the steps. "You hear that?" Gray whispered. The two of them stopped, and listened. "Footsteps.. Coming from the roof?" "But there was no one up there, and this is the only way up." "Someone must have followed us," Gray determined. "Great," Kitten sighed. "Let's keep moving then," she suggested, grabbing his arm and pulling him after her as she ran down the steps. They reached the third floor and exited the stairwell, hearing voices from below. "Think there's an elevator?" "No. Why would people use the stairs, otherwise?" Gray laughed. "Guess you're right. Well, now what?" "Wait for them to pass, then continue to the first floor," he decided. Kitten nodded. The two of them stood out of the way of the stairwell door's window and waited for the sounds of footsteps and voices to pass. As soon as it quieted, they rushed downstairs. The bottom floor was a bar. Lucky for them, it was quite a full one, too. Nobody noticed them come in. Besides Indigo, of course. "Gray!" she shouted, running over and hugging him. "Angy! I haven't seen you in forever!" Gray smiled happily. "Hanging around a bar, huh? Just like you," Kitten smiled. "Knock it off," Angy laughed. "Well, com'mon! Let's buy you guys a drink," she smiled, dragging Gray behind her, followed by Kitten. They sat at the bar and talked for a while. Kitten kept an eye on the door, and noticed it open once before the group of players returned. She didn't think much of it, but still wondered about it. She listened in on the groups' conversation. "We didn't find nothin'! Just some pieces of scrap, scattered all around the roof," the fat one exclaimed. Not in a ball?! What came out of it? Maybe that made the footsteps.. Somebody's following us! Kitten pieced together in her head. "Gray," she interuppted, grabbing his arm. "What is it?" "Somebody's following us," she whispered. Just then, a young girl bumped into her. "Oh, sorry," the girl laughed, "wasn't watching where I was going." As she walked off, Kitten stared after her. "Anyway... look, I don't think we should stick around here much longer." "But we were just catching up," Indigo whined. "Well.. then come with us!" Gray invited. "Really?" "Yeah! I can't believe I didn't think of that," Kitten joked. "Let's go," she said, grabbing Gray's hand and dragging him off, closly followed by Indigo. They walked outside and immediatly were hit by a problem. "How do we get to the Griffyn from down here?" Kitten asked, staring up at the large building it was hidden ontop of. "What are you talking about?" "Our mech," Gray told her. "And don't worry," he soothed, turning to Kitten, "It's got a remote feature." "Are you serious?! I am SOO keeping that thing," she smiled, running off. "Where's she going?" Indigo asked. "She's going to go find a good spot where we can summon the Griffyn." "Hey!" Indigo shouted. "What?" "Hang on a minute," she said, running off. "Wait, where are you...? What was that about?" he wondered, leaning against the wall of the building.

"I have to keep this!" Kitten exclaimed as the Griffyn easily manuevered over the mech battle. "Can I drive? Pleeeease!?" "Okay, okay! You're really psyched up about this thing, aren't you?" Gray teased. Kitten stuck out her tongue, then jumped into his seat. She grabbed the wheel right before he let go. "I suggest you sit down.." she giggled, placing her hand on the throttle. "Oh.. Rin, you shouldn'--" Gray began, rushing to the passenger seat. As soon as he reached the seat, however, Rin pulled the throttle towards her, sending the amazing mech into a sort of super-speed mode. Kitten had no trouble keeping in control of the Griffyn's swift and irratic movements. When she finally slowed down, she could have sworn she had flown around the planet three times. "My.. that was fun.." Gray muttered. "Boy, if you could get sick in the game.." Kitten joked. "Oh, don't even," Gray joked, play-punching her in the shoulder. They grinned at eachother. Then a small beep was heard. You have a message from player "Indigo". Care to read message? Yes No It will cost you 200 from your current location. Would you like to purchase? Yes No The message reads: From User: Indigo To User: Kitten Hey Rin! No kidding, huh? Gray's really back?! How long has it been? Bring him over right away! I'm in South Kredi, a brown building with a sign on the window that says "Meteor". And yes, it is the in-game bar. =P Well come by NOW! Or I'll just have to hunt you down, lol. -Angy "Was that Angy?" "Yep. I know where she is now. But where can we take the Griffyn? I don't want to give it up, you know.." Kitten muttered. "I know," Gray smiled, holding her chin up. "Don't worry. You won't have to give it up." Kitten grinned happily. "Well? How do we keep this thing hidden?" "With its invisibility feature." "It has a cloaking device?! This thing IS the best! Next to us, of course," Kitten laughed. "Come on, lets go meet Angy!" Gray engaged the cloak, making the unmissable mech in the sky dissolve into nothing. Some of the players below who were watching the mech began to wonder what had happened. They landed the Griffyn on top of a large building where admins and moderators were holding small meetings. "You sure we can land here?" "Of course not," Kitten said, walking out. "Where's the brown building?" "Right there," she said, pointing to the building below. "You jumping?" Gray asked worridly. "Nah. I'm gonna fly," she smiled, handing him a bag before walking off the ledge. "Rin!!" he called after her. "That girl is nuts," he laughed to himself, putting the bag on his back and taking a breath before following her.

"When are we going to see another new pokemon, you think?" Joy asked Rin as they walked along the dimly lit path. "Don't know." "Don't you want to see anymore?" "Don't know." Joy thought for a moment, then asked, "Can't you--" "Say anything other than 'don't know'? No," Rin finished for her. Joy let out a small growl. "You wanted to be professor, right?" Rin asked suddenly. This question startled Joy, making her wonder why Rin had asked. "Yeah...?" "What do professor's do again? You know, besides giving new trainers pokemon. I know they do that." Joy nearly tripped as she asked that question. "What do you MEAN what do they do?!" "Don't get so uptight, jeez." "Why didn't you introduce yourself to the others, huh?" "Didn't feel like it." "That's it?!" Joy was beginning to wonder if travelling with Rin was a good idea. "No, that's not it. "First off, I don't like being asked questions. I know that by telling someone just enough information that will make yourself feel like your not letting them know everything, that person'll just rip you up with questions. People have to know everything about anything. Why people even care about me is a surprise, really. Second, I think I've already told you this one, but I don't trust anyone down here. I came here to expand my pokedex and get some powerful pokemon that I can train with. Not to make friends. "And third... Telling people about myself just reminds me about how much I hate myself to begin with. Now why would I want to remind myself of THAT, I wonder," Rin spat. Joy was quiet. They walked in silence for another twenty or so minutes before Joy broke it with a question. "Are we going around in circles?" "Don't know." Joy let out a moan. "What?" "You always say 'Don't know' or 'Don't care' and it just gets so annoying!" "I don't--!" Rin was cut off by the sound of footsteps. "Absol.." Rin began, her pokemon immediatly running off to the sound of the noise. "What is it?" "We'll find out."

As they walked on, Rin focused on the writing she had seen. She knew her recorder had recorded all of it, but she didn't know how to access it. If she wanted to review it, she'd either have to walk back or borrow someone's computer. I'm getting ahead of myself. The text probably was some kind of warning of booby traps. Or one of those stupid prophecy things, she thought. "Rin!" Joy shouted. Rin spun around in her place, taking a fighting stance and grabbing one of her pokeballs. Absol was growling, and Ghastly's tail was flaring. Ponyta was backing against Joy as if to protect her. "What is it?" Joy wondered, her face full of glee. "A new pokemon." "I know that, but what new pokemon?" Joy retorted. "Quiet. It will tell us," Rin suggested, kneeling down and putting her hand on Absol's head. "... Well?" "You aren't very patient, are you?" Rin asked in a dull tone, still concentrating on the small creature. Joy bit her lip, turning from Rin to the pokemon. "Skoshi!" "It's a Skoshi?" Rin took her pokedex and analyzed the small, purple creature. It was a small purple ball with a long ears that perked up everytime a little noise was made. Its tail was short with a small point on the end. Its eyes were small and its stubby arms barely reached the pink circle on its belly. It had no legs and its feet were small purple ovals attached to the circular body. "It's cute!" Joy said, holding out her hand to it. It came over and sniffed it, then let out a sneeze which sent it rolling back into the wall. "Aww.." "You want to catch it? Or can I?" Rin asked. "Catch it? .. Oh!" As Joy went through her pack for a ball, Rin had one ready and sent it at the pokemon. It let out a squeal as the ball hit it and it was sent inside with a red flash. The ball rocked for a few moments, then settled. "Hey!" Joy cried. "I was gonna catch it.." "You took too long." Rin went to pick up the ball, but it disappeared. "Oh yeah. I've got a full party." She wondered if it would enjoy the PC Box, though she doubted it. "Well, lets move on," Rin instructed, walking off again. Joy cursed her under her breath, then followed.

OOC: Sorry for not posting! I was on an airplane from midnight to 4 AM yesterday, and I only just now got a chance to go on the internet. I'm surprised this got to four pages already, though. >.>;; --- "What does it say?" "How should I know?" Rin replied, scratching her head. Joy led her Ponyta closer to the walls to illuminate them better. Sure enough, there was quite a bit of writing. Most was in a strange language, but some was in "Unown". "Can you read this?" Joy asked Rin, pointing to the Unown writing. "Yeah, why?" "Read it!" "Fine, fine," she sighed, walking over and examining carefully. "Well that's stupid," Rin stated suddenly. "What do you mean?" Joy cried. "It's badly written. I can make out words, but not sentences." "Oh.. Well, what are the words?" "Caves, changing, wind, traitor, and.. mew? Why does it say Mew?" Rin thought aloud. "You sure?" Joy questioned. "Yes I'm sure," Rin muttered. Wind... Do they mean the wind helped form the caves? But if light can't make it down here, wind surely can't. Unless.. it could come from a pokemon. But I haven't.. Rin turned to Joy. "You feel any wind?" "No." "Didn't think so." "Why?" "Just an idea. Let's move on," Rin suggested. But before they continued, she released her Absol. "You have an Absol? Why didn't you tell Rorohiko?" "I don't trust him. Hell, I don't trust anyone. You just happened to talk to me first," Rin laughed. Joy seemed disappointed. "Oh.." she muttered. "Don't be so shocked. Do you trust me?" "Come to think of it.. not really." "See? There you go. It's nothing personal," Rin explained, beginning to walk off with Absol beside her. Hearing this, Joy seemed to perk up a bit and chased after her teamate.

OOC: Good to know, Sonata. ^__^ --------- IC: "Did you notice anyone?" Gray asked after they ran into a small store. "No. Why?" "There was a girl. She was about to walk up to you before the mech fell. I thought you'd have noticed her." "Well, I didn't," Kitten retorted. "Anyway.." Gray said, changing the subject, "Where do you think Angy'd be?" "I dunno. We're in a mech shop," she explained, pointing to the sign that led to the Mech Garage, "Need anything before we head out?" "How about a mech," Gray laughed. "You have the money? .. Or..." Kitten smiled. "Rin.. No. Not after all the trouble--" Kitten pulled Gray to the corner, out of view of the store clerk and any players in the store. "Look.. You steal it.. Pick me up on the way! I'll be running east from here. It'll be easy," she whispered in his ear. "But--" Gray tried to protest. But she put her hand to his lips. "Just do this. For old times." "But.. it's been so long.. How do you know I can do it?" "Because.. You're you." The two of them stood smiling at eachother for a moment. Then Kitten snapped her head to the left after she heard a can hit the floor. "Somebody dropped it?" Gray guessed. "Someone was listening.. Okay. We don't have a choice. Do it now. I know you can do this," she insisted, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. "Rin.." "Go!" she laughed, running out the door. "He better go east," Kitten said to herself, running through a row of small houses which, she knew, were empty. Two minutes later, a large mech was seen emerging from the Mech Garage. It was a very rare type, too. The Griffyn, it was called, for it resembled the mythical creature. It's wings allowed it to fly, and its four legs allowed it to run, and its tail helped it swim. And everything on it served as a weapon. "GRAY YOU ROCK!!" Kitten screamed, stopping and waving frantically. The large mech headed towards her at an alarming pace. "That idiot better not run over me," she laughed, not moving. The giant stopped almost as quickly as it flew, landing right infront of her. "Hey Rin! Did I do good?" Gray laughed from the cockpit. "You know it!" she shouted, running towards the mech. A moment later, it was back in the air and high above the city. "Well?" Gray asked, startling the admiring Kitten. "Huh what?" "Where do you want to go to find Angy?" "I dunno.. Oh wait. I'll just message her! Duh!" she laughed, beginning to type up a message. "Sent! Okay. We'll have to wait a little bit for a reply. I know she's online, though. We talked at school today. She said she be online around now," Kitten explained. "Okay, Rin," Gray said, smiling. She sat down next to him and began talking with him about how he had stolen the great mech.

"'You'll probably be the last one there!'" Rin mimicked her sister in a high pitched tone. "She never shuts up," she continued, seeing some guards in the distance. "Not a lot of people," she muttered sarcastically. "Halt!" one shouted. "I'm not even thirty feet near you, you retard!" Rin spat back. He bit his tongue, the other guard shaking his head at him. "You're more than an hour late. I'm surprised to be letting you in," the guard said through clenched teeth after she had answered all his questions. Rin grinned at him, seeing a vein pop out from his temple. She stuck out her tongue right before the doors closed, just in time to see him lunge at her before hitting the doors. "Put your pokeballs in the tray," a woman instructed, her tone going from annoyance to anger. "Yeah, yeah," Rin sighed, putting all of her pokemon on the tray. "Umbreon, Absol, Dragonite, Salamence, Flygon, and Aggron. Now hand me your bag." Rin did as she was told, then started looking around the room for anything interesting. Which, of course, she didn't find. "What is this for?" the woman asked, quite startled by the bag's contents. Inside were ultra balls, for catching pokemon, a can of pokemon food and a bag of chips along with a soda bottle, her pokedex, a large book, a notebook with ruffled pages and some sketches inside, and a binder with cards. Then there was a necklace with what looked, unmistakably, like a master ball. The woman held it up, glancing from Rin to the ball and back to Rin. "How did you get one of these...?" "I made it." "You.. made this?!" "Yeah. No big deal." "These are incredibly valuable! Why do you have one?" she asked in glee. "Um.. Well, I'm saving it for Latios." "But it's more than extremely unlikely that Latios is in the Network. Why did you bring it?" "Like you said, it's incredibly valuable. I bring it with me everywhere, whether or not I run into Latios." "How do you know it works?" "I caught a pokemon with it. Then released it. That pokemon really wanted to be free, so I let it be free." She nodded. The guards in the room were leaning in, also quite interested in the master ball. "Well.. what would you do if someone took it? Taking it around with you has that risk." "To put it simply, that's what the switchblade's for," she chuckled. The guards ran to her and grabbed her arms. "Hey! I was kidding! KIDDING!!" she shouted angrily. "We're going to pat you down anyway. And empty your pockets." "God damnit.." Rin sighed in exasperation. Twenty minutes later, she stumbled tiredly through the doors into a room with other trainers. "Stupid assholes... I was just kidding," Rin grumbled angrily, taking a seat next to a girl who looked quite similar to Nurse Joy. Her Chansey was parading around happily, chanting "Chansey! Chan chan chansey!" She entered after an arguement because it was strangely quiet. Everyone stared at her. Having been searched, all the stuff in her pockets had been taken out. And she was shoved into the room without having a chance to repack her stuff, and instead was handed everything in a bag. While returning all her stuff to where they were originally, the girl next to her asked, "Hey, what's in that?" She was, in fact, pointing to a black box labeled: "Stuff". "Stuff," Rin stated blandly. "Be specific," the girl persisted. "If you must know," Rin began, turning to the girl, "inside is my PokeNav, TM case, VS Seeker, berry pouch, and PokeGear." "Wow. That's a lot of stuff." "What can I say? I'm a collecter," Rin answered in a dull tone. "Well... My name's Joy," she smiled, holding out her hand, "What's your name?" Rin glanced at her. "Rin." She didn't shake her hand and continued returning things to her pockets, the box being placed in her jacket pocket. "Um..." Joy mumbled, taking her hand back awkwardly. "Hello chosen pokemon trainers. All of you have arrived, so we shall soon begin. If you'd all stay in your seats for the next few minutes," a voice said over the intercom. "We've all been in our seats," Rin spoke out. The others lifted their heads and looked at her. "What?" she asked, returning their stares.

I agree with Sevotharte. It's quite unique. It does remind me a bit of the new Mega Man series-- the one with the Net Nabies? Yeah. The basic idea of that one is similar to your idea. It also reminds me of Pokemon and Digimon, which I'm a big fan of. I can't wait for this to hit the Adventure Inn! ^__^

"How long has it been?" Kitten asked, spinning around in her chair. "About fifty minutes," one of them replied over the intercom. "Oh.. Okay. We should be there soon, then.." She turned off the microphone and took off her headphones. "Ahh.. Booooorring... What to do, what to do..?" she muttered, playing with her sword. Suddenly, she felt a slight shift. "What the...?" she began, her chair rolling to the left. "Hey!" she squealed, jumping off and grabbing a pipe above her to keep from hitting the wall. Kitten reached to the control board where her headset was starting to slide to the left. She grabbed it before it slid all the way. She hurridly shoved it on her head and pushed the button on the control panel. "What's going on!?" she shouted into the microphone. "We are under attack, repeat, under attack! Enable weaponry," Gray ordered. "Aye, aye!" she reported, climbing her way to the panel. She used her coat to tie herself to the desk and began pushing buttons labeled, "Enable Guns", "Enable Blasters", "Enable Plasma Cannons", etc. She then noticed a button that would give her control over every weapon on the ship. She slammed her fist down on it, hearing the computer read off all the now ready weaponry. "Communicate with our attacker!" Kitten ordered. "Communicating," the computer responded. "Rin! Listen, we are being attacked by a computer opponent," Gray told her over the headset. "What?! I thought the programmers got rid of those things! They said they imported viruses!" she cried back. "I know. But this one is definately one of them. We'll have to destroy it to get away. Can you handle that?" Kitten pulled down a target screen. "Rin?" Gray shouted over the boom of another barrage of bullets from the enemy ship. "They're dead," she smirked, grabbing the cannon controls. There was silence for a second before Gray replied, "Alright, then. The safety of our ship is counting on you." "Yeah, yeah," she laughed, finding the ship on her screen. Before firing, she slammed a button on the panel that turned her headset from "Two way" to "One way" radio. "Take this, virus assholes!" Kitten cheered, pulling the trigger. The cannon fired, the sound of its launch ringing through the entire ship. The blast hit the ship straight on its guns. It now only had bombs to attack them with. She could hear the cries and cheers of her crewmates over the headset, and she let out a happy cry of her own at the success of her first attack. She then switched out controls for the blasters that littered the outter shell of the ship. "It's over." A second after she pulled the triggers, all the blasters on the right side of the ship fired at the enemy, blowing chunks of the opposing ship right off, and even leaving holes. Even louder shrieks and shouts of victory flooded her ears. It took no more than a minute to rid themselves of a pesky virus ship. "Way to go, Rin," she heard Gray congradulate over the racket behind him. "You did it." When they landed, not too much later, when she came out to the main deck she was surrounded and lifted off her feet by her fellow players. They all cried her name. "Rin! Rin! Rin! Rin!" She laughed and grabbed Gray's hand and pulled him up with her. They were carried off the ship. "You guys stay here and check out the ship. They did hit us a few times. Repair any damages," Gray told the crew as he and Kitten left to find their old friend. "Woah," she muttered, grabbing Gray's arm and pointing to some mechs off in the distance. "What's going on there?" he asked, followed immediatly by an explosion. "Maybe this wasn't the best time to drop by, huh?" "I guess-" He was cut off by a damaged mech skeleton falling from the sky no less than ten feet away from them. "Let's find some cover," Kitten urged him, running off towards some buildings, closely followed by Gray.

Yes. As Ugamon asked previously, I, too, am wondering when this RPG will debut in "the Square". I really am eager for a quality Pokemon RPG to participate in. Please, please start this up soon. And to answer your question, Ugamon, I believe Mount Chimney is located in the Heonn Region, north of Lavaridge Town. (Correct me if I am wrong).

Yes. I saw this on yourOtaku. I thought it was cute. But your black mage friends are going insane, lol. One's threatening someone off-screen with a wreath.. o.O;; And there's a white mage over there on the left, challenging one of your black mages..es.. But the one sleeping on the floor with the teddy is teh sexah. One of them is swimming in a present. Not presents, but a present. Another one's sky diving from who-knows-what. And what is that red one standing on? Or is he hanging from wire? Eh. EDIT: Never. :p

Ah. I knew I'd need a DS for Pokemon games. Well, it's on my Christmas list ($150 bucks of MY hard earned cash for something I'll use not-so-much?! No thanks..). I agree with vicky. Enough with the badges! All of the past.. let's see here.. Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Sapphire, Ruby, FireRed, LeafGreen... TEN frickin' games are all about badges. Of course, there is the occasional Team Rocket beating you get to have fun with, and collecting pokemon is great, too. But what's the point if you can't collect all 380-or-so? It's kind of pointless. There are always the ones you want that you can't get unless you go to those weird.. event things. And yeah, the names are weird. I really hope (after Pearl and Diamond) that they don't do any ThingColor names. That was really stupid, in my opinion. But yeah. I'm a pokemon freak, so I'll buy 'em even if they dont't have any new features, lol. ^___^;;

Name: Rin Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: See attachment. Personality: Rin keeps to herself most of the time. When she battles, it's like she puts her entire self into her pokemon. During battle she is no longer secluded and bored, but instead she's determined, outspoken, and eager. History: Rin is quite rich, having a Gym Leader for an older sister. She lived with her sister in the city of Lavaridge until she was ten, which is when she was given her sister's Eevee. When she got it, everyone expected her to evolve it into Flareon almost immediatly. But instead, she trained it day after day for months until evolved into Umbreon. Dark pokemon were always favorites of hers, but so were dragons. That was what led her to become a Trainer instead of a Gym Leader. At age twelve, Rin left Lavaridge to travel to the Johto region, where she quickly beat all the gyms. While there, she caught a Dratini which was soon evolved into Dragoniar and then Dragonite. She visited her parents in Kanto shortly, but didn't bother visiting the gyms. She returned to Heonn at age 13, and went around beating all of the Heonn gyms, including her sister. She didn't challenge the Elite Four because she felt that she needed training. So Rin spent another four years training. Rin caught many pokemon and trained lots of them, but she grew most attached to her Bagon, Trapinch, Aron and Absol. Those she trained most often, along with her Umbreon and Dragonite. Very soon, she had an army of dark and dragon pokemon, her party of six pokemon being the most intimidating. Determined to prove herself, Rin headed for the Elite Four. But when she reached the Indigo Plataue (sp?), the Elite Four were no longer accepting challenges because they were on some commitee. Rin, determined to find them, followed the rumors and stories she was told and eventually found them. Pokemon: Umbreon, Absol, Salamence, Dragonite, Flygon, Aggron EDIT: Added an appearance. ^__^

"Outta my way!" yelled a moderator, chasing after a young character running through the streets. "Sorry! Comin' through. Watch it!! Woah--" she shouted, nearly getting run over by a group of people. Then she got an idea. The girl squished in between some of the users and ran with the group who were travelling north east instead of north west. When the mods reached the intersection, they continued in the same direction, still commanding eachother to catch the girl and other users to move out of their way. I got away... she thought, breaking away from the group who continued running. "Now where am I..?" she wondered, noticing only one shop and one inn. She entered the inn and took a seat in the lobby. "Care to rest, Ms?" "No thanks. My health's full." The NPC inn-keeper nodded, then resumed talking with other people inside. "So what did ya do?" "What?!" the girl nearly shrieked. She jumped up and pulled out her sword. "Woah, woah, woah! Hold it, there, Rin! I didn't mean to scare ya! But please, don't go jabbin' that thing in my face like that.." "DON'T CALL ME THAT HERE!" she whispered angrily. "Oh. Sorry, Kitten." She elbowed him in the side. "But yeah. Sorry about shoving my sword in your face. Didn't know it was you." Kitten looked around to see a few users staring at her. "What?" she growled, making them turn away. "Heh. You're still the same." "Yeah. But you.. You haven't been here for so long. What's been up, Mushu?" "Nothing. And my screename's Gray, remember?" he laughed. "Oh yeah. Sorry." She then sighed and gave him a hug. "It hasn't been the same without you." Surprised by the hug, he was silent for a minute, then hugged her back. "You told me that when I left. I guess you were true to your word," Gray smiled. "You weren't though." "Hmm?" "You said you'd quit for good, but here you are." The two of them laughed, then walked outside together. "So.. what did you do?" "My friend, Z, remember him? Yeah, well Z hacked and got banned. But he transfered all his items to my account before hand! I didn't know why, but I took 'em. Why wouldn't I? But now they want whatever he used to hack. But he didn't GIVE it to me.. So I told them that story, they didn't believe me, and now I'm running away," Kitten explained. "It's because of what we did. What we used to do.." "Well, you're a theif. It's basically your JOB to steal." "Not from the system. And that's what I did. That's what I made you do.." They walked side by side silently for a moment. Then she grabbed his shoulders and looked him in the eye. "We need a ship. And I know you have one." "Yeah? Why do you-- WE need one?" Gray began smiling as he saw Kitten's devilish grin spread across her face. "We're gonna escape the stupid 'system'. This is a game. We're supposed to have fun." He nodded, then dragged her towards a nearby haven. "Care to save, Mr. and Ms.?" the NPC asked. They nodded. Save? Yes No There is previously saved data. Care to overwrite? Yes No Saving... ... ... ... Saved. Care to resume? Yes No "Okay? So now what?" Kitten asked after Gray had finished. "We go to my ship." And after a few seconds, Kitten and Gray were teleported onto his ship. "Well Captain? Where to?" Gray chuckled, bowing to her. "Knock that off. And let's go to.. Oh! We'll go visit Angy! She'll be happy to see you! She'll probably be on planet Katenea." "That'll take awhile. I mean, we're here on planet Minnou. That's at least an.. hour away," he mentioned. "Well.. we'll just take an hour, then!" she insisted. "Off to Katenea," Gray called. "Oh wait.. we don't have a crew.." "WHAT?!" she shouted, practically falling over. "All the members of my crew don't know I'm back.." "Then message them already! They'll come. And then we can get on our way.. finally." Gray began typing up a message, then sent it to all 26 members of his crew. And within a few minutes, most of them came aboard the ship. "Gray!" they all called, running up. "Oh. Rin! Glad to see you safe and sound! We heard your account is going to be deleted soon," one of them said, running up to her. "They can't do that!" Gray shouted. "Yes they can," Kitten muttered, "but I won't let them. They aren't going to get rid of me because of some stupid items. And don't call me Rin!!" "But we're on the ship. It's okay here," said one of the crew. ".. Fine." Gray let out a laugh, then ordered all the crew to return to their positions. "But sir! Two of our crew aren't here!" "Do we need them?" "Well.. we need someone to operate the ship's weapo-" "I'll do it!" Kitten shouted, running down the hall towards the weapon control room. "That's our Rin," Gray smiled. "Well!? We've got our weaponry operator! Let's move it!" "Aye aye, sir!" they all shouted. OOC: Wow that was long. >.< Well, hope that was a good first post. ^_^
