1. If he was not
dead
than maybe people would have heard of him/listened to his rhymes. Yes, Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop, and Eazy E (and a DJ..DJ Mike?) were all part of the N.W.A. and were (I think still are) planning a reunion CD.
 2. I chose "Gohan" for the first part because I have been using it since I first signed on to the internet (well, not my AIM or MSN [one in the same] but my YIM has it in there). But, for all other forums I have signed up with, "Gohan" is in there. I chose it because I like the character of Gohan more than the actual show (well, now anyway...). Resilience, strength, and always the one to save the day. Yeah, it is corny, I know...*shrugs* As for the second part, I used the last name of the main character from "Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner." No particular reason other than not wanting to end up as "Gohan33093093219."
 3. I enjoyed the first "Scary Movie," namely because it was the first parody (in my recollection) of a very popular movie (Scream 1 & 2) in the past 10 years. It was sort of like taking the text of a videogame and rewriting it to make it silly and funny. But, with "Scary Movie 2," I did not get that same feeling. It was funny, yes, but they seemed to go overboard with the entire thing. With that said, I knew about the second sequel for some time (3 months), but have yet to see a trailer. Hopefully, it will rekindle the "greatness" that was the first one...
 4.
Originally posted by SpikeSpiegel if u didnt know...most REAL car enthusiats hated FAF. It was too unreal, show cars running 15 minute (supposidly 10 sec) 1/4 mile runs..it made many guys laugh.
*Sighs* I do not know how many times I have stated this, but...who in their good mind would go and pay $8.00 for a movie ticket to watch an actual 10 second race!? I could go do that tonight, for free, from a place 20 minutes for my house. The entire point of the "lengthened" race was A) To show each driver's reaction during the race, and B) Make the race seem "dramatic" and "mimic" what occurs in real races. It was never meant to 100% realistically simulate an actual illegal street car race. And though NOS alone will not make your car the best out there, if you saw what they are racing in (or at least claimed to) you will see these cars were already fast. Remember the opening cut scene? Brian topped out at 140 MPH. No NOS. The Fast and the Furious was an ok movie, but it gets to me that some "real" car fans cannot even notice it was all for effect.
 5. It will probably look better than the PC version, but CS has been on the PC for years now. More likely than not, people who own CS on their PC and own an XBox (slimming down the percentage their) will not buy CS for XBox. Good idea (especially with XBox leading the online console world...regretabbly...:p) but just too little too late in implementation.
 6.
The Fast and the Furious
Watch
after the credits. Dom does make it to Mexico like Letty and him planned (he is driving a Chevelle, IIRC), so...one can assume all went well with everyone and they just hightailed it south of the border.
As for a movie that keeps me wanting to know more, on a basic level, would have to be "Resident Evil." As a huge fan of the series, I wanted to see
what happened to the lovely Ms. Jovavich in a real life Raccoon City [sequel in production - "Resident Evil: Apocalypse"]
. A movie that made me think about our world would have to be "Bowling for Columbine." I highly recommend it (no matter what you think of Micheal Moore). It is a really well done documentary and seriously makes you use your brain. ;)
 7. Ok, time to play Devil's Advocate. :D I support the "we landed" crowd, but, to a degree there is a lot of information to say that we did not land on the moon. First, think back to the 1960's. What was this the height of? The Cold War. First the Cuban Missile Crisis ('64?) which dealt with Russians transporting intercontinental nuclear ballistics into Cuba. Luckily, the crisis was averted. Yet, the Russians were not too thrilled. So, the "Space Race," which was in progress long before, escalated. U.S. vs. U.S.S.R. was the main topic on both governments minds. And, with the Russians proving they were superior in space technology (First space walk was by a Russian, IIRC) the U.S. was quite nervous. The U.S. felt that if they were to lose space superiority, the U.S.S.R. would somehow develop space weapons capable of attacking any spot on Earth. So...if your space program (NASA) has been unsuccessful for many years, what can you do? If the U.S.S.R. wins, it could mean the dominant force for the "evil" Communists and the end of Democracy. What to do?! Fake it! Studios could easily be set up (no stars in the background, 1/2 frame movements to fake "lunar" environments, lights are all wrong, camera errors, reflections where there should not be, *actual* footage of the "Earth" being recorded from far away, only to reveal it was within a studio, etc...) to mimic a lunar landing. Take *that* you evil Communists! We got there first! HA! :p Ok, flame away. :p
 8.
Originally posted by Tsukasa_hack Anyway, I too am A metal gear solid vetran, and in Kojima's style isn't anything edible but rations and isn't in a forest. In this game, suspect the unsuspected.
Kojima does not outright lie. He may reveal something to tease or lead someone down a certain mindset, but he does not say something and it turns out to be false. Kojima has confirmed that
2/3rd of the game takes place in the forest and 1/3rd in the main "base," and you will have to hunt to survive.
As for the main character being Big Boss, well, a lot of information has been revealed to make it seem like BB, but, it has neither been denied nor confirmed by Kojima. Oh, and MGS3 is a direct sequel to MGS2, but not in the traditional sense of "sequel." Kojima means it as the "next" game in the MGS series, not the third in a trilogy to pick up where the last one left off. ;)
 9. Nas, Jay-Z, R. Kelly (well, now he is...), Nelly, Talib Kwali, 50 Cent, 2Pac, Biggie, Busta Rhymes, Chingy, Youngbloodz, Lil' Jon, Ying Yang Twins, etc...... ...as you can see, I truly enjoy rap. I often see that people have a large misconception that rap is only about "cars, money, and girls." Rather, for specific rappers (2Pac, Nas, Biggie) they speak of their past, their problems, and the chaos they have had to live through. It is a lyrical autobiography of sorts. And then of course there are the beats. That is what draws me to a rap song - beats, rhythm, feeling, etc. If it pounds and makes go "YYEEAHH!" then I will probably get it. Favorite songs include (but not limited to): Nas - Ether Youngbloodz - Damn! Juvenile - Set it Off Cam'ron - Oh Boy Clipse - Grindin' Jada Kiss - We Gonna Make It Kanye West - Through the Wire Notorious B.I.G. f. Eminem - Dead Wrong (Remix) :D
 10. Ummm...happy birthday? I guess that is what you were attempting to extract from OB members...if not...then you have some issues with the multiple user names... :p
 11.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Yeah. It's in the 60s. I can't say I care much, but I'm far more interested in this than MGS2. I read the other day that you can strap grenades to animals and send them towards the enemies heh. Don't know how true that is.
Very, very unlikely. I happen to be an MGS veteran and I know Hideo Kojima's style enough to recognize unofficial statements by made-up "employees". ;) I, for one, am uber-excited about MGS3. Anything you want to know (gathered from IGN's MGS boards) I will be glad to share with you. I highly recommend to download the trailer at Konami's MGS3 site. http://jpn01.konami.co.jp/movie/mgs3/mgs3_e32k3_e.asf (30+ MB)
1963... I heard that just recently, along with you can eat almost anything and you can throw beehives XD
Well...depending on what you eat...
can negatively or positively affect your health - eat a venomous snake = bad; eat a healthy fish - good; and so on...
Oh, and you can only
shoot the beehives
as of right now. :p Best release date guess -
November 2004
12. First things first, the channels option on AOL goes down. Then, I check my e-mail (replying to if needed). Then, YIM, MSN, and IE go up. Allow for everything to load and then heading over to the NBT-Mercs forums. Check all new posts (reply if warranted) and then check MekTek's forums. Next, IGN's Metal Gear Solid boards gets a gander. Finally, OtakuBoards and MyOtaku load through AOL. From there, homework or whatever else needs to be done takes over. :D
 13. Final Fantasy X-2 - November 2003 (I am definitely looking out for this game) Final Fantasy VII-2 - Vaporware (a.k.a. just a fan rumor)
 14.
Originally posted by Stuart Great GTA moment
Two come to mind: - 1st time I grabbed the chainsaw the day after I bought the game (one of
Cortez's missions
I believe). I was utterly shocked and excited. I went around cutting the living daylights out of everything in sight. *Remembers and lets out a sigh* - After being chased by the cops, I managed to dodge an oncoming pursuer, turned around, and saw that it had hit another vehicle, thus launching it into the air (about 30 feet) and completing about 8-10 rotations! I was like, "Whoa...*crash*" :p And the great thing is I ended up doing the same thing in my car (the rotations) which was awesome.
 15. Holden Elementary School - Burgandy and Gold - Holden Hawks De La Salle Institute (High school) - Blue and Gold - De La Salle Meteors *sighs* Whomever thought of that is a frickin' lunatic... Westwood College of Technology - Green and White - Nothing :p
 16. I am probably in the minority in relation to rap/hip-hop listeners (or I assume I am) so I am listening to... Lil' Jon f. The Eastside Boyz & The Ying Yang Twins - Get Low As for what is next, it depends whatever the DJ plays on the mix to start in a few minutes (9:06 P.M. CDT on Power 92 - 92.3 WPWX). ;)
 17. On another forum I read all of the closed threads (which are few and far between) just to witness for myself what warranted its closing. 99% of the time it is due to massive amounts of spam, flame wars, or poor attitudes. 1% was a joke by the admin to close all the threads we opened to keep certain peeps from reaching one level higher of a post count. :p
 18.
Originally posted by mirai_torankusu Q: If you go through Super Mario Bros. 3 normally (without using any Warp Whistles), in what order would you acquire the different suits that Mario can wear in the game?
Frog suit Tanooki suit Hammer brothers suit (Easy)Question: What was the original title that Super Mario Bros. 2 was based off of? SUPER MEGA EASY Bonus: What was it re-released as? [EDIT] -
Originally posted by Sniglefager It was originally called Doki Doki no panic or something like that, wasn't it? And it was re-released in America as Super Mario Bros. 2, because they didn't think the original would sell as well.
Correct. Have no clue to your question, though, since I do not have a GameCube! :p
 19. This is the best I could find (I took out the link due to its possible "violent" intentions)"Intense Violence" (first ever) was given to
Postal 2
, but it is still rated Mature. As for an actual AO game...to my knowledge the only ones that exist are the ones at truck stops which are made by Playboy. :p Other than those, I have a heard a rumor of one (it may have been a joke) where you had the ability to take lead pipes and shove them through the bodies of people. The name escapes me at the moment...since that was years ago of which I read of it... Others that are close are:
Grand Theft Auto 3 & VC BMXXX
20.
Originally posted by roymund Oh, yeah a Q. How many floors (As you slide down the flagpole) did the original Lvl. 4 castle have in SMB 1 (From the outside)?
I have to go out on a limb and say...four? Question: In the title "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe" (for the GBC), what special "addition" do you receive after completing the main game on all its difficulties? BONUS: Name the other "sub-addition" dealing with racing in SMB. DX... ;)
 21.
Originally posted by Cyber E. DRAGON BALL GT Premieres on Friday, October 3rd at 6:30p.m. EST. Almost a year before previously stated. This is Fridays ONLY, folks.
 Ok, time to go put some VHS tapes in the ol' recorder (Yes, I am one of those non-episode downloaders/purchasers :p). Anyway, I am tremendously looking forward to DBGT. Of course, I have heard it is "meh", but I will judge for myself. ;)
Originally posted by Cyber E. OTHER Begining Friday, October 2nd @ 6:00 p.m. EST for four straight weeks we're getting four never-been-on-TV DBZ movies: 9/05: DBZ - Bardock: The Father of Goku 9/12: DBZ - History of Trunks 9/19: DBZ - Cooler's Revenge 9/26: DBZ - Return of Cooler
I think you meant Thursday? Unless it was copied and pasted...then it is a website error. Back on topic, it seems CN is coming hard with all the new DB/Z/GT all at once. More than likely because we have been watching the same stuff for a lloonngg time. *Sits in a puddle of excitement and sweat...eww...* :D
 22. Krusty's pink convertible: KRUSTY Krusty's Limo: KRUSTY9 (Yes, I looked it up. Twas a hard one.) Question: In the episode where Bart shoots the bird with Nelson's bebe gun, Bart sprays a ___ with a hose. What animal is it? Bonus for what the ___ shakes the water on. Extra Uber Bonus for what the animal that gets shaken on second shakes on to dry itself. (A complete bonus filled answer would be = Water on ___ -> ___ -> _____). :D
 23. Two moments, one game. The console: NES. The game: Bubble Bobble. First, this happened a good while ago, say, 9 to 10 years. I was spending the night at my cousin's house and he had his NES hooked up. So, my brother and cousin pop in Bubble Bobble and start going at it. After a while (and a late night) they get past level 99 and reach the final boss. Excited, we sit there and I watch them do battle. Unfortunately, they never could beat the final boss (VERY hard even with 2 players). But...that leads me to my next story... ...so, years later, about a year ago, my other cousin and I load up my old NES with BB and start hitting it hard. Knowing the level 99 code from 8 years prior, we *BEAT* the evil, uber-hard boss!!...except...
"You have received the false ending. This is not the true ending!" ...or something like that...
I can honestly say I bawled like a little girl that day...:p Let's see...what else... Well, there is playing through and beating FFX. That was awesome. Oh, and anything from the SMB series on NES. Great titles. Finally, there is Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2. MGS1 was fantastic, but with MGS2, well, if you have played it you know about it...if not...
playing as newcomer Raiden and not Snake is a definite bittersweet situation; you love Snake more but want to kill Raiden :p
Anyway, those are some great moments of gaming I have been through... :D
 24. Bah...did anyone see the "Tonight Show" last night? Well, the LCS winner was on the show and, surprise, surprise, he re-used 4 jokes. I mean, come on. The "Tonight Show" gets higher ratings than LCS which translates to a larger audience and a more "national" arena, and you are going to use four of the same jokes again!? That is just sad. Now, I am not saying, "Well, this guy is not funny," but for someone to collect so much data, perform so much research, and claim he "really wants it" yet turns around and rehashes the same stuff is not someone with the passion to be a real comic. Again...bah...
RALPHIE FOREVER!
:p
 25. Gohan. Plain and simple. :p http://www.myotaku.com/users/gohan Lucky for me I have "Gohan" instead of "Gohan2324X." Too bad I could not do that for the forums, but *shrug* I assume a member list is on the way. For the time being, people can (as mentioned) as a link in their sig or a temporary website with links could be set up quite easily. ;)
