1. We're a special unit sent to help you guys. As I wrote, Xiu and Lumiere are't even allowed to die. They're simply made new bodies. They've truely lived for hundreds of years, though they're not immortal in the real sense, more or less they are. They die, but are brought back. Excel and I worked this out between ourselves over the phone. Yes, we're huge fans of kiddy grade. In truth, we're terrorism combatants and crime fighters.
2. Dunan paused, if only for a split second before turning around. "Anya..." A smile spread across his face, and he ducked to avoid a gunshot. "DAWNER! ANYA'S HERE!" he shouted, relief hitting him like a ton of bricks. "Then go to her! Make sure she's okay! I'll handle this!" "Got it! Don't die on me, babe! Or I'll kill you myself!" "Same to you, honey!" Dunan ran off, litterally jumping from one person to the next. "Anya! Where are you? Answer me!" "Dunan? Over here!" Anya voice came to him, drifting over the sounds of fighting. Dunan kicked an old man aside, and saw here there, on her knees and sweating. "Anya!" Dunan rushed to her, and looked her over. Her clothes and arm were trashed, and she had obviously been exhausted. "Dunan, I missed you..." Anya smiled weakly, and Dunan hugged her tightly. "I thought I'd lost you... I... I..." Anya's cool metal arm wrapped around Dunan, and she started crying. "Dunan... I was tough... like you always taught me... No one's going to beat me down...and I played hero." Dunan let her go, confused. "What?" "It's good to see you, Dunan. You're one hell of a sight for sore eyes." His eyes widening, Dunan turned lto see Dean standing there. "Dean! Oh god, is that you?" "You know, Anya said that when she saw me." Dean looked on at the fight. "I see you guys have been busy." "Oh, you know us, we're always fighting. You know, protecting the world, saving it from demons, that kind of thing. No biggie." Dean readied his sword, smiling. "Well it's been far too long since I had any fun. You guys have had all the glory. Where's Cali?" "Fighting over yonder." Dunan pointed in Cali's direction. "Go to her, she's taken all of this really hard... I'll take care of Anya." Dean nodded, and headed off into the fray. "Give me a drink and I'll be fine." Anya retorted, and Dunan smiled. "How about four?" "Sounds good to me!" Dunan lifted Anya up, and leaped across the way into the hotel bar. Sitting Anya down, he grabbed a bottle of booze and handed it to her. She cracked it open, and started guzzling the bottle. "This crap is watered down..." she remarked. "You would know... now let me look over your limbs." "Fine fine...I have booze." Dunan snorted in laughter, and he started examining Anya's body. Her flesh wasn't marred, though her metal limbs had definitely taken a beating. Her arms would definitely have to be replaced, and probably her legs, too. She would be able to fight one last battle with them, though they might give out, especially her right arm. the plates covering it were dented, some had peices missing from them. "You really know how to party, huh?" "Yeah well, Assholes know how to break shit." "Ah yes, suck a clever response. Let me pour you a special shot... It'll rejeuvanate your strength." "Not some of your blood... EWWW!" "There's no other choice right now. We need everyone at their strongest, and you've taken a beating beyond what you usually do." "Fine... get it over with." Dunan nodded, and ran his wrist over one of his fangs, and placed it over an empty glass. It filled quickly with the black, syrupy substance, even as the wound healed. Handing it to Anya, she downed it in one gulp, and shivered. "Man, that was nasty." Anya downed another few gulps of booze. Dunan smiled, it was good to see she was still herself. A single shot glass of Dunan's blood was thankfully enough to help her regain her strength, not turn her. "You're not a vampire, I should hope so. If you thought it was tasty, I'd be a scared." Standing up, Anya stretched. "Well, now you know I'm okay, shall we head back into the fight? "Let's do it." Together, the two ran off into the crowd, fighting their way to the others.
3. This could be fun... we officers aren't exactly normal cops. I specialize in technological warefare, Excel is just bomb shell. Think you can handle this tag team from hell?
4. "I'll let you stick with the elegance, Lumiere." Xiu laughed. "Ah, Xiu..." Lumiere sighed, closing her eyes. "Please restrain yourself. We are only hired hands, after all." "Eh, at least for now. They'll see how useful we are eventually." Xiu removed a folded up set of papers from his shorts. "Here's the paperwork about us. Have a once over with it, and feel free to contact HQ." Shan looked confused, though took the papers, and read them. "Xiu and Lumiere... Aren't you two the odd couple." "I would like to think so." Xiu responded. Lumiere nodded her agreement. "Of course, I would like to see the extent of the database you've compled up to this point, and we will need to be briefed about your current exploits." "Organized much?" Shan commented, and Lumiere only smiled. "It is rather tedious, though nessessary to perform my job. We with the Organization believe that being prepared is not merely an advantage, but a nesescity. Often, being prepeared can be all the difference between life or death in many situations, which most of, if not all, concur with out line of work. I will apologize for my request if it offended you." Lumiere bowed, and smiled. Shan only stared blankly at Lumiere. "You're thourogh.... did you rehearse that?" "Nonsense. It's simple etiquette." Lumiere cocked her head. "Not one to be very trusting, I see. Well, perhaps we can prove to be trusted in the near future. I sincerely hope to become good comrades." Shaking her head, Shan sighed. "Come on then. Let's get you inside."
5. We thought We'd be coming in from another organization that helps those of us in the RP. We're police.... but SHHHHH! Big secret!
6. File No. 1234765 Name: Lumiere (Unknown if this is her true name) Age: Unknown, Current body appears to be 14 years of age Current Appearence: Abilities documented to Date: Puppet: Lumiere has the uncanny ability to mentally hack into any computer or robot, infact anything electronic is at her discretion to control. However, she must be able to make solid contact through the means of her ability. If there is a nano mist sheild, Lumiere's ability cannot function, and she must have straight line contact or direct contact with the item she is trying to control. When Lumiere uses this ability at a distance, white, speckled likes of power resembling circuits spread out from her fingertips to the item she is trying to control. The closer she is to the item, the easier it is for her. This ability also places her in contact with vast amounts of information every day, as she is able to tap into intergalactic comunications and databases. Particle: Lumiere has never been known to use this power, so nothing is known about it. But it is rumored to be her primary ability, though seldom used. June 10th, 3008 It seems my partner is reckless as usual. But, of course, this is part of her charm. A lady really should try to be more elegant. She seems to retain no memories of her past lives, though her 'uniqueness' shall we call it seems to rear its head every day, hence her dressing in drag. It's more of a psychological tactic and subconcious memory on her part, even if she doesn't realize it. Often, I wonder how our enemies made the genetic changes for her to be a man in this incarnation. We're the team that isn't even allowed to die, we're reencoded back into new bodies to fight the battle again. It's a shame he was stolen from the organization, and they weren't able to make a copy of him with out the body, though our enemies made her into a boy, presumably to cause her to be untrackable when on assignment. But of course, her abilities are quite unique. I hope to be reunited with her soon. June 29th, 3008 It seems my partner is on the run from those who stole her in the first place. Sinestra and Dextera are trying to track her down, to save her. I only hope they're in time. August 4th, 3008 My partner is far smarted than people give her credit for. She's been one step ahead of all of us, all this time. It seems she's going by the name Xiu, her first name from long ago, when we first met. How Ironic, she seems to repeating her past over and over. November 1st, 3008 Dextera and Sinestra brought Xiu in, unconcious and in serious condition. I'm so glad she's alright. She's been stablized, and remains unconcious. I went in to see her, and she looks the same as she did in all her lives, though with out her melon sized breasts. It's kind of strange, I never pictured her as a man. December 5th, 3008 Xiu and I have been spending time together, though I'm afraid to get too close again. I'm afraid to lose her again. No matter how many times I tell her, it seems she is the one lady who will never strive for elegance. But, things are going well. When she's ready, we will start doing missions. 7. Band Camp: Sonata of Slaughter :animesmil While we're dealing with the lower class demons and angels, most of them will have mundane powers, the violin player i will reserve for later. I'm also going to throw iin some other monsters, though they will be far less powerful, faithfully serving some unknown master. I'm thinking after we wrap up the cheerleaders, we go after an orchestra...
8. Okie dokie... what kinds of powers should our enemies have? I'm thinking one of them should be a demonic violin player... any other ideas?
9. And we have a Dunan ladies and gentlemen. Oh yeah... check out my youtube vids.... expecially my randomness vid XD http://www.youtube.com/user/inufandom
10. OOC: I'm going to expect much better from you from now on, kari, or I will have to ask you to drop out of the rp. Don't think of me as callous, though. I understand your character is meeting the rest of us. So, I'll let you get away with the short post this time. Try reading other posts, and get a feel for writing. "Who are you?" Rayne asked, His eyes surveying the girl. She didn't appear to be much, her powers were weak. She seemed timid, if anything. "Speak, or leave." Rayne's serious demeanor seemed to have caught the girl off guard, though Rayne didn't think she had much of one anyway. "I was told... I'd be shown my destiny." The girl looked down at her feet, obviously nervous. However, Rayne couldn't be sure it was genuine, and not an act. "You will have to forgive the stand-offish demeanor, we've learned caution is the best course of action when dealing with others of the.... supernatural persuasion, shall we say." Rayne motioned for Anue to step forward. "Tell me, what is your name, little one? You are young, and I doubt your demeanor is... an act." "Kari. I... don't know who the man was who told me to come here. I just hoped I would have purpose is my existance." Rayne's eyebrow twitched slightly at Kari's answer. "Our enemies might be trying to round up all our kind, to get us in one place for one fell swoop, Rayne." Taryn spoke. Rayne nodded in agreement. "Of course. I have thought that might be the case. If it is, then we can use all the more to join us. Come, Kari, and sit with us in the living room. Anue, would you make some tea?" "No problem." Anue went off to do so, though Rayne knew she was also going to get Syria, Damia, and Tahllia. Within a few moments, the others had all joined them in the living room, Anue with a large kettle of fresh, hot tea, as well as several cups and saucers. "As you can see, we are a team. We don't go picking fights on our own, and we always have backup. I assume you have a place to go, because we can't accomodate you here. So, we willl keep in touch by means of cell phones. I assume you have one?" "Yes, though I have almost no minutes on it right now." "That's not an issue. We will be sure to refill them later on. Now, What is it you desire by coming here?" Rayne leaned back on the sofa, his deep hazel eyes appearing as if to see into Kari's very soul. Rayne's syes seemed as if to shimmer ever so faintly red, though Kari couldn't be sure if it was her imagination or not. "I don't really know. I want to find a boyfriend... and know my place in this world." Rayne stood up. "I see. Well, it is getting late, and most of us have to be up early for school. We'll be attending San Bernardo Public High School. Join us there, and we'll see what you can do. Untill then, I bid you farewell." Rayne motioned for Tahlia. "Be a dear and show our guest out, would you?" Tahlia nodded, though it was obvious to Rayne that she was troubled by something. After showing Kari out, Tahlia came back into the room, and sat down. "So, what do you think about her?" "We can't be too cautious, though I doubt she's in with our enemies. Of course, that doesn't mean our enemies steered her to us, for some reason I can't forsee ir understand at the moment." "Rayne, you think we should trust her?" Damia asked, still looking to the door. "She seems... too innocent. I don't know if she can handle what we can." "Agreed." Taryn replied. "She's young, that's for sure. Naive, too." Tahlia shrugged. "But, we could use more allies, right? I'm sure she can toughen up." "I'd rather refrain from corrupting innocent children, thanks." "I doubt we'll have to worry about that." Rayne spoke, after hearing the debate. "Something tells me she's seen her fair share of darkness already. But, honestly, we have more pressing issues to deal with other than the kid. Let's go to bed, and deal with things as they come." After all of the nodding, people began to turn in for the night. "Tahlia, I'd like to speak with you alone." "Sure..." The two walked out onto the balcony, and Rayne could feel a cool breee stirring his hair. Tahlia sighed. "Is it that obvious?" "Very." Rayne turned to face Tahlia, and leaned back against the railing. "Another dream?" "Yeah." Tahllia began to describe her dream, and several she had had before. Rayne listened, taking in alll of the information given to him. "What do you think the dreams mean?" "I... Don't know. Maybe I don't want to know. I'm afraid that they're memories from long ago." Rayne sighed. "I think they are, too." Turning around to look at the moon, he continued. "I know of... a ritual... or rather maybe a process. It makes demons. It sounds like... you were one of the demons made from such a ritual."
11. "As tasty as human blood is, Dawner, yours was that last I ever had." Shrugging, Dunan kicked out, smacking a human sensless. "And I'd prefer to only drink from evil humans, thank you very much." "Well then let's by all means hunt evil humans then... There has to be willling humans controling these few... Cover me while I find them." Dawner closed his eyes, and placed his hands together, his powers circling around, covering an ever growing radius as he searched with his empathetic abilities. Dunan did as asked, though the humans just kept coming. One brought a pistol, and raised it to fire. On taking a second to see who he was aiming at, Dunan dodged to his right, away from Dawner as the woman began firing. Her eyes were hollow, the woman had no control over herself. On taking another look around, Dunan realized there were no children in the crowd of humans. Odd. Dunan leaped into the air, bringing his fist into the stomach of the woman with the gun, knocking her out cold. Dunan glanced over to Dawner , making sure he wasn't about to be attacked. Dunan jumped back, landing on his hands, just as Dawner was swung on by what looked to be a mechanic with a wrench. Dunan caught the man's arm, and yanked the wrench away to bring it down on the would-be assailant's head. "Ouch... That's gonna hurt in the morning..." Dunan hurled the wrench at the nearest human, cole cocking him in the head. "Dunan! Third floor in the building to your left!" Dawner called, and jumped over Dunan to head for the bulding. "HEY! WAIT FOR ME!"
12. YAY! Excel And I will post later, i have class to attend and so does she. Though, Of course, expect chaos to ensue.
13. *Revs his engine* Let's get this puppy rollin'. *Jets out into tihe road and swerves to avoid cars before roaring away in a neon pink sports car*
14. I return, peeps. Let's see here.... anyone care to give me an update on what's going on?
15. Rayne yawned, and decided to go to bed. Putting the controller down, he turned off the system and got up to walk to his room. On closing his bedroom door, he smiled, and looked at his things lying around. In the CD player, though not yet played, was one, very special disk, containing a recording of someone singing, a once very popular opera singer who had disappeared without a trace. He had been youthful, though with a voice that sounded as if from the heavenly choir itself. Rayne looked at an old poster, slightly discolored and yet something wonderful. Pressing the 'play' button, Rayne's voice rung out, enchanting notes weaving themselves around and through the rooms. Moments later, there was a knock on his door. "Come in. It's unlocked." Anue and Taryn both came into his room, the obviously confused expressions on their faces giving them away as to why they had come. "Rayne.... Is... Is that you?" Taryn asked, his disbelief so very evident. Chuckling, Rayne nodded, and Anue's jaw dropped as she spotted the poster at the same time. "YOU WERE EYES RUTHERFORD?" "Once upon a time." Rayne turned to the two, and let loose with a beautiful siren song, ending with a high pitched note only a handful of people in the world could hit. Stunned, the two with him could only stare as he spoke again. " I thought maybe I could use my singing talents to blend into the school, though I doubt I will. I should keep an eye on Tahlia so she doesn't get into too much trouble." "You should definitely go for Choir! That was awesome!" Anue yelled. amd Rayne smiled. "That good, huh?"
16. "All night, huh?" Dunan grasped the throat of one of the demons, crushing it with his hand. "Sounds like fun." Dunan threw the dead demon at another, whirling to face those sneaking up behind him. The scent of blood was strong in the air, Dunan's hunger sparked and he leaped onto another with stunning presision and speed. Dunan twisted its head around, the sickening cracks loud in his ears. There was a sick, disturbing satisfaction, but one that Dunan knew was righteous. So, it was okay. Dawner snapped his fingers, unleashing his immense mystical powers. A roaring wave of fire spread out before Dawner, incinerating countless demons. Dunan picked up another demon, biting into its neck. Hot, demonic blood gushed into his mouth. For vampires, they can make those whom they feed from feel like the very heavens are massaging every fiber of their being. However, Vampires can also make their victims feel like hell would be a welcome respite when they're finished. And Dunan wasn't in all that kind of a mood. Dunan gasped in a breath of air, the demon shaking in his arms, convulsing from the sensation Dunan had chosen to instill in it. "Dawner... It's delicious..." Dunan held the demon to Dawner, and he smiled. "Dunan, is that for me?" "Of course, my sweet." Dawner came over, and the other demons around them watched in horror as the two vampires ripped apart their comrade, feasting on its blood. They dropped it, and turned on the others. "Wanna play?" Dunan called, beckoning them close, blood dribbling down from his mouth. Dawner began to giggle, and the two advanced on the demons, shredding through their ranks and catching up to Draco and Karyn. "Dunan! Good to see you're back to your old self." Karyn called to him. Dunan threw a demon against a wall, and plunged his hand into the chest, removing the heart. "Good to see you, too! Let's show 'em what this team's made of!"
17. And now it's time to do my Mama proud. Let's play. *eyes glow*
18. A broiling rage seemed to seep through Xen, as he made his way back to the safehouse. He was cool, and on the prowl for some HEAT. The cool streets played upon his skin, making him seem... etheral, like a gift bestowed upon the world. Who would he grace toight? Who would he allow to touch him? A question which was never answered, unfortunately. Nothing sated his appetites. They were all.... short. And not just the junk in the undies department, but time wise too. Xen wished someone could sate his hunger. But, as usual, he was disappointed. Tonight would be the same and it would suck. Alot. But, In this atleast he'd get laid. Oh, how sweet relief would be so nice. The air seemed to come alive, energizing Xen. That hotel room was just boring. No real fun, and no enjoyment. Orders. And Orders he was obligated to obey. He, the lost soul. His heart was as black as the deepest Obsidian stone, and he was far too sullied to ever atone for his sins. "Let's hit the town..." Xen said, a dark, hungry smile on his face. OOC: Forgive me it's so short. I couldn't think of a whole lot.
19. Dunan grasped a cantine, it filled with cow's blood. He took another deep sip, his eyes letting off a faint glimmer. Dunan was back. "and just in time... Sunset." He cocked his head, a bit woozy from the blood needed to recover. He smiled, his fangs bright and almost shimmering. "I know that look." Dawner said, rising from the bed. "Some body's got a bit of a hangover!" Dunan pulled Dawner close. "Oh yeah, babe. It's time to play, too." Dawner smiled too, though his expression was of much more wrath. "Think I'm going to sit by after they hurt you? And took Anya and Dean? Think again, honey." "Oooo... I love it when you call me honey." Dunan licked Dawner's throat, in that one, special way. Dunan was Dawner's, not the other way around. So, think we'll be done by dawn?" "Maybe... Maybe not. Do you care?" "No, but it's polite to ask, moi cheri. "There you go... talking in french. I hate that, and you know it." "Don't worry, love, I'll teach you the allure." Dunan turned out to the window. Dawner shot out of the bed, and reached underneath it. "I got you something, honey. A 'welcome home' present, if you will." "Aw, babe you shouldn't have." Dunan walked over and looked at what Dawner was now grasping. A black, shiny, new leather trenchcoat. Dawner handed it to Dunan who immediately pulled it on. There were black, buckled belts across it, meant to hold the outfit together. Dunan decided to leave them undone. as he wasn't as vulnerable in those areas as normal humans, and he was showing it off. Dawner held up a bright, massive, silver pistol, and cocked it. "Now I never could get the hand of those new guns..." Dunan quipped. "Yeah well, That proves how old you are." "Calling me old?" "You bet, old man." "Let's see who's old in a minute, little boy. I'll show you how we did it back in the day. A good, old fashioned beat down." Dunan streched, as did Dawner. With a flick of Dawner's wrist, his clothing changed to a dark purple tuxedo, with accents of black, velveted accent peices. "Looking sharp, Babe." "As do you, Honey." Dunan held out his hand, bowing as as he did to show deepest respect, like back in olden times far before even Dawner had been around. "Shall I have this dance, kind sir?" Dunan opened his eyes, a dark hunger glowing in them, his fangs bared in a sinister grin. Dawner's expression matched his then, his fangs glowing just as Dunans' did in the pale moonlight. "My dear husband, I will always allow you the priveledge to be my dance partner." Dawner took Dunan's hand, and they walked to the edge of the balcony with presision, a dance just for them, and those whom would dare to meet their fate before the lovers. It was now, in the darkest hour, their more monstrous sides were needed. Yet, even monsters have love. "Promise me, Dawner. No matter what happens, if I go down-" Dawner placed a finger on Dunan's lips. "Don't talk about that. It's not happening." Dawner turned his lips to Dunan's, and they kissed, as if it might be their last. "I think we're the only ones who haven't gone to the party." Dunan let out an arrogant 'Hmph. It's never a good idea to be on time. You of course want to keep them waiting for the guest of honor. Makes it more worthwhile." "Then by all means, we're late. And we'll be the life of the party." Dunan shrugged in response. "Or unlife, babe." He smiled, and the two lovebirds leaped into action. OOC: Dunan's back, peeps. Let's play.
20. Hey peoples/ Thank you all so much for being there for me. It did make things a little easier. It's a haze and a blur.... so many things I want to say, but my mind is so numb right now (the hangover isn't bad) I just don't know what to say. Thanks again everyone.
21. I'm going to be away for awhile. My mother passed away.
22. I'm not going to be able to post for awhile, my mother passed away
23. I''m going to have to put this on hold, my mother passed away
24. Dunan's eyes fluttered, he could barely keep concious. Dawner was holding him close, hesitant to let Penbrooke close to his Dunan. Conceding, Dawner layed Dunan on a sofa, while Penbrooke looked him over. "Thirsty..." Dunan rasped, though was too weak to move. Dawner shoved Penbrook out of the way, biting into his own wrist and then holding it to Dunan's mouth. "Drink, and don't bitch." Dawner showed a weak smile, and Dunan began sucking, drinking deeply as if he drunk of the elixer of life itself, as indeed he did. Instantly, his wounds began to heal, letting off disturbingly moist CRACK sounds as his bones knitted back together. Dawner swooned, and he fell forward onto Dunan. Dunan let go, knowing he had drank deeply enough to sate his hunger and need just enough for the moment. His strength was no where near what it should be, he would have to go and drink more soon enough. Dawner lifted his head, sobbing into Dunan's chest. "Where'd you go? Why didn't you say anything? You told me never to do it myself, so why did you? ASSHOLE!" Dawner clenched Dunan's clothing tightly, shaking in anger and frustration. "Dawner... I wish I could have. Anya and I were attacked... And they threatened to hurt you. You and everyone else. I couldn't let them..." "Anya? They attacked the both of you? Where is she?" Dawner gasped, the realization begining to set in. "They took her." Dunan closed his eyes, a single bloody tear falling down his face. "and I was powerless to stop them."
