~Star Wars~

Its great to see a Star Wars thread back up on Otaku. *salutes*. ...Anyway. I can answer Goten's 3rd question. The first Jedi to be killed by the Vong was Miko Reglia.
3. This is kind of embarrasing, but can someone fill me in on what's been happening since my last post... I was on holidays, and I've kinda lost the plot.
4. Name: Xanko Sharat Age: 24 Species: Human Squad: Vertigo Weapons: Cord grip and flame thrower on the left wrist. Mobile rocket launcher attatched to jetpack. Has dart propellors attatched to his knees, that fire tranquiliser and poison rounds. A vibro-dagger. Has a custom blaster made of Dallorian alloy, (if you could imagine a Star Wars version of a Colt single action army, it would look like that.) And has an X-32 Blastech rifle, (can have a scope fitting.) Description: Has black armoured suit, undersuited with grey, and a red jumpsuit. He is roughly 6'2". Under his suit, he looks exactly like Solid Snake from MGS2. Bio: One of the more experienced mandalorian warriors, with the scars to prove. He is liked and trusted by most, if not all the mandalorians, and is known to be able to get out of very difficult situations quite easily. He was one of the first choices for the Vertigo squad on this mission.
5. Well done ElvenFoxKnight... you figured out how to kill the shadows. I was going to say that you had to do something to them in order to kill them, but you figured it out. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- My eyes opened dazingly once again... I could see better know... my eyes seemed to be back to normal. I saw the 5 "pods" infront of me... from which the shadows had been released. There was a control panel beside the pods, and files were scattered everywhere. On the control panel, there was a red bleeping light... that suddenly turned green. A small amount of static came on over the radio... and then that arrogant laugh that I remembered from that guy exploded over the radio. ???: Well Craig, good to see you awake. Your... abilities, should be fully developed by now, and so, it's time to see exactly what your capable of. In a moment, the door behind you will be opened... some creatures may come in but they should be no concern to you. You will then take the lift down to my little training facility. There should be some nice surprises for you there. Although I couldn't see anything, a large clang, followed by a sliding noise signified that doors had opened behind me. I was expecting the straps around me wrists, ankles and neck to come loose, but nothing happened. Craig: Hey... let me... out. ???: Hmhmhahahaa... if your abilities have fully developed, you shoud have no trouble getting out of that. If not... then you shall not survive. I suddenly heard a lot of low moaning... zombies were pouring through that door. Whatever power this guy has given me, it can obviously brake these straps... somehow.
6. I will tell this post from a 1st person perspective, it allows me to be more detailed. After this post I will go back to 3rd person RPing. ------------------------------------------------------- My eyes fluttered open dazingly... a bright set of lights shon in my eyes, hurting them. I instinctively turned my head to the side, trying to stop the lights from hurting my eyes. My entire body was numb, and aching in pain. My vision was terribly blurred, and no matter how much I blinked, they still remained blurry. I was strapped to the table I was lying on by my wrists, ankles, and neck, I could feel the straps excerting terrible pressure upon these areas. The table I was on suddenly started tilting to a vartical position, and the lights that shon in my eyes now shon on the top of my head, allowing me to see the room as well as I could. In front of me, I thought I could see a man, clad in a black uniform... and e seemed to have a pair of dark sunglasses on. Behind him, there were several figures that seemed to keep appearing and disapearing... and unless I was mistaken... they were in cages. The man took a step forward, crossing his arms over his chest, and he let out a low, confident laugh. ???: How are you feeling Craig? I let out a slight sigh... as if I had just woken up with a hangover. I thought I could see the mans arrogant grin... but my vision was so blurry that I wasn't even sure if I was looking at a man. Only the voice promted me to believe so. Craig: Who... who are you? ???: Why, I am the owner of this hospital. I have been monitoring you and your friends since you broke out of your rooms. I decided that you were the best choice for me to test on. Craig: Test... what... are you... talking about? ???: Well my friend... the company I work for has decided to use... my virus, on another subject with similar physical properties, to see if the results would be the same. I decided that you were the best choice. Craig: You... work for... Um-brella? ???: Hmhmhmhahaha... no, my services belong to another company. They sent me here to investigate this new virus... to find another subject for my virus, and to test out my companies new... toys. Hahaha... Craig New... toys? ???: No doubt you will have noticed the creatures in the cages behind me... these creatures are called shadows. They have the ability to change the property of their bodies into liquid, allowing them to approach an opponent without them noticing. I am about to test them out on your friends... see how they fare. Craig: You... leave them... out of this... you bástard. ???: Hmhmhm... I like your attitude. It will be interesting to see how you handle your new abilities. Craig: What the hell... are... you talking... about? ???: Before I answer that, let me ask you a question. How is your vision? Craig: I... can't see... a fúckin' thing. ???: Hahahaa... then you are progressing perfectly. The reason you cannot see properly, I because your eyes are changing my friend. They are enhancing, as is the rest of your body. You probably also feel limp and tired... they are all symptoms. Farewell Craig, I will see you again, when you are completed. In the mean time, I will send out the shadows to greet your friends. I blinked several times, in another vain attempt to clear my vision... was I really changing like he said? As far as I could tell... the man walked over to a lever on the far side of the wall, and pressed it, lowering the glass on the cages that those creatures were in. They all dematerialised... and then all I could see were some faint blobs flying over the ground, and sliding up the wall, into the ventilation system. My eyes suddenly became very heavy, and as the man left the room, echoing another arrogant laugh... I passed out again.
7. Craig cocked his shotgun, and shot a round into the head of an oncoming dog. The dog's head exploded, chunks of brain and eyes splurting all over the special ops corpses. Craig noticed a pair of sub-machine guns in the hands of one of the special ops team, so he leapt forward into a roll, avoiding the attack of a dog, and grabbed the two guns from the hands of the zombie. He rested on knee on the shoulder of the corpse, and held the sub machine guns up, pounding round after round into all the dogs, until they all lay in puddles of their own blood. Craig grabbed a few clips for the sub-machine guns, and several shell boxes for the shotgun. He prepared to get up and head for the exit, when the man underneath him started to move. He turned to face the man he was kneeling on, as the corpse ripped off it's gas mask and leapt for Craig. Craig jumped backwards to his feet, drawing his shotgun. He was amazed when this zombie managed to match him in speed. He held his shotgun up, and blasted the zombie through the chin as he prepared to bite Craig. The rest of the special ops team also got up, surrounding the men. Craig: Watch it, these guys are as quick as us... Craig put the shotgun into the holster he had on his back, and drew his sub-machine guns. He held them at two seperate zombies, and started ripping them apart with flurry after flurry of bullets. The zombies were thrown back, but kept recovering. Then, more and more zombies started pouring through the gap in the door. Craig and James backed up against each other, keeping each other from harm by protecting the others back. Drake: We can't hold them all off... there are too many. Craig looked around... the group were fighting courageously, but they were all petrified. They were too scared to think of a plan, and would just stand here and blast the zombies away until they, or the zombies all died. The group must have been outnumbered by 7 to 1 on a zombie / human ratio, and they were all quickly running out of ammo. Suddenly, a sense of calm spread over Craig, he knew what he had to do... Craig: Guys, concentrate your fire power on one area, and then brake through when a gap appears. It took the gang only a few seconds to acknowledge Craig's order. They all turned and concentrated all their fire power on the weakest area of zombies, while Craig, James, and Jubei held the other zombies at bay. They soon made a gap in the circle on zombies, and ran through. Craig: You two get through, I'm right behind you. Jubei darted through the gap in the zombies, with James not far behind. Craig however, did not move. He stayed wheree he was, blasting the zombies back, as the gap the group had created closed, as the zombies started making their way in on Craig. Blaze: Craig, what are you doing!? Craig looked their way, cocking a smile. Craig: You guys go, I'll be fine. James: We're not leaving you to die! Craig: I said I'll be fine doc, get out of here. I promise, I'll catch upto you! You could see the gang didn't want to leave Craig, and they even managed to break another gap in the zombie line, but Craig still did not run through. Eventually, Craig managed to persuade them to leave. They hesitantly left Craig, to deal with the group of zombies. Craig was sure he would come out alive, so he confidently blasted away zombies. He pumped round after round into the circle of zombies, quickly reloading when he needed to. It wasn't long, he thought he was going to get out alive... when something powerful struck him from behind! Craig instantly fell to the floor, unconcious, as the mystyrious figure stood over him. The zombies seemed afraid of this figure some how... none of them tried to come near him... He easily picked Craig up in one arm, and carried him off... to somewhere, as the others made their way to another exit.
8. Craig continued down the stairs, the group following in file behind him. James pointed Craig in the direction he had to go to reach the entrance, but Craig was more concerned with finding some of the special ops agents that were apparently sent into the hospital. The men with fire-arms were told to keep look-out for any approaching zombies, while the men with melee weapons were told to keep an eye out for any survivors. Craig was clearly the tallest of the group, standing almost a head above the others... though he saw this as a disadvantage, as he made a bigger target for these... creatures. Also, his boots weren't exactly the quietest of things when he walked, anyone could hear him coming. Normally he liked it that way, but certainly not now. James: Here, the entrance is just around the corner. Craig: About fúcking time to, I'm sick of this place. Drake: How could someone allow this to happen... The group walked around the corner, and the entrance blomed before them. Their temporary relief was soon over-shadowed by horror and fear. The glass on the doors of the entrance was shattered and smashed... and in a clutter, sprawled all over the foyer, were 15 bodies, their insides torn from them. Craig slowly stepped towards them, noticing the gas masks they wore, and the classic "Umbrella" symbol on the left breast of their jackets. Craig: Guys... I think I just found... the special ops team. One by one the rest of the group stepped up next to Craig, as he prowled over them, checking to see if there were any survivors. Suddenly, Craig came across a bag. He un-zipped it, and a smile boomed across his face, as he saw the bag brimming with handguns, and shotguns. Craig picked the shotgun out of the bag, and examined it. The others rushed over to him when they saw the gun, and started picking guns of their choice out of the bag. Craig: A Remingtom M1100-P, cut barrel, 12-gauge shotgun. Nice! Suddenly, Craig heared a low, sharp growl. He looked up at the entrance, and looking at the group through the doors, were about 10 dogs. They were all bloody, red, and decaying. Their teeth and claws were about twice as long as they should have been, and their eyes were deathly focused. Craig: Oh... shít... Craig got to his feet, and held his shotgun in both arms, as one by one the dogs walked through the broken glass of the entrance.
9. I will say this only once more. No one outside of the hospital knows anything about the virus outbreak, besides Umbrella. Lets all please keep this in mind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Craig led Jubei and James further down the corridor. All seemed pretty petrified, but Craig was the lesser of the three, so he lead the group. He cautiosly moved down towards the stair-well at the rear of the hospital. James: There are the stairs... they'll take us down to the ground flor, then we can get out. Craig: Righto doc... hey, shouldn't we have seen some of the "special ops" guys by now? Jubei: What special ops team? James: Well you see, when something serious like this happens, a special ops team is usually dispatched to contain the virus... but we've seen no sign of them. The three of them stopped dead suddenly, as a lot of low moaning was heard. One by one, zombies started slumping or crawling out of 4 of the rooms near to them. Craig gawped at them in horror, while James and Jubeibacked up against each other, bearing their weapons with shaky hands. Craig: Well, I'm no coward... but I think running is a perfectly good option right now. James & Jubei: Agreed! Immediately they started belting for the stairs, Craig swinging at a zombie as he passed, taking the creatures head clean off with his crobar. Craig turned and cocked a grin at the headless zombie, and then got back to concentrating on his running. He reached the stairs before the others, and dive down them, into a forward roll at the base of the steps. A zombie was making his way up the flight of stairs below him. Craig spun the crobar around in his hand, and hald it over his left shoulder. Craig: I'm sorry sir, but visiting time is over. You'll have to go back down. With that, Craig cracked the zombie in the side of the head with his crobar. The creature tumbled backwards down the steps, landing in a heap at the bottom, a poll of deep red blood forming around the corpse. Craig continued down to the second floor of the building. There seemed to be no zombies around, which pleased Craig. James: Right then, this way. James started to lead the grou down the last flight of stairs.
10. Boba, I had a copy of the "Darth Maul: Sabotuer" story in the back of my "Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter" book, I can't see why it isn't in yours also...
11. Dr James Michaelson and his patient Craig Burke had been waiting in the radiology room for three days now, after the hospital underwent a complete lockdown. Craig was getting impatient, and James was getting curious, but was desperatly trying to calm Craig down. Craig: Come on doc, we've been here for three days now... surely they would have informed us on the situation or something. James: Yes, it does seem a little odd... normally we get a message over the service radio, or a team of people in anti-contamination suits would have come to get us out. Craig: So, you think this is all due to some contageous disease? James: That's what I would normally have put it down to... but like I say, we'd normally be out of the hospital within 3 hours of the lockdown... something must be going on. Craig: Well doc, I say we get the hell outta' here and go see what's happened. James: We can't do that... anything could have happened, we could be putting ourselves in jeapordy. Craig: Yeah, or it could be nothing, in which case we've just wasted 3 days of our lives. Doc, I'm starving, filthy, and píssed off. You can stay, but I'm busting out of this room and going to find out what the hell is happening. Craig walked over to the storage cupboard at the back of the room, and opened it. Inside was a broom, a mop, a bucket, a fire extinguisher, and a crobar. Craig allowed a breif smile, then reached in ang grabbed the crobar. He turned, holding it up in the light, as he glanced at the doctor. Craig: This'll do nicely. Craig rested the crobar on his shoulder as he marched towards the door. He stuck one end of the crobar in the gap in the door, and started wiggling the crobar about, loosening the lock on the door. James: Please Craig, do not open that door... for both our sakes. Craig: Doc, I'm not waiting here any longer... so I suggest you grab somethingyou can use as a wepaon... just in case the worst has happened. James sighed, then slumped over to the cupboard, and grabbed the broom. He spun it round in his hands, and turned just in time to see Craig pry the door open. Craig looked back at James and grinned, before slowly opening the door, and stepping outside. The hall was relatively dark. Only the secondary lights were on, which allowed for about as much visibility as walking along down a road with all the street lights on, which wasn't so bad. The hall was deserted, most of the doors were still locked, but some of them had been bust open, from what seemed to be the outside. Craig shrugged, and turned to James as he stepped into the hallway. Craig: See doc, some people have already busted out... James: Looks more like someone broke in. Craig: Well, the end result is still the same now isn't it? Craig rested his crobar on his shoulder again, as he proceeded slowly down the hallway. James followed a step behind, their footsteps echoing along the hallway. Looking into a few of the already opened rooms, several of them had had their windows smashed through. Craig: Hey doc, what's up with that? James: Well, once or twice on occasions like these, a special ops team is dispatched to contain the disease... or ofcourse the captives of that room could have taken the scenic route down. Craig: From 4 stories up? James: Well, the first option is the most likely... though that wouldn't explain why the doors had been broken into from the outside... this just doesn't make sense. Craig and James reached the double doorways at the end of the hall. Craig kicked them open with his large black boot, and glanced into the new hallway. James stepped through afterc him, and was about to speak, when Craig held a fingerr up to silence him. Craig would here something... it seemed like a very strange chewing sound. Craig (whisper): You hear that? James (whisper): Yes, it's coming from that room. James pointed to the first door on the left side of the hallway. Craig held his crobar out infront of him with both his hands, and anxiously crepped towards the door. The chewing sound did not stop, only grew louder. While looking towards the door, Craig held his hand up to James, telling him to stay where he is. James held his broom anxiously, preparing for the worst. Craig pressed himself silently up against the wall next to the door, and looked towards James. James was staring back at him anxiously, so he turned, and slowly peeres around, into the room. He couldn't believe what he saw... It seemed as though one man was eating another man alive! He was kneeling over the recenlty dead corpse, and was busily eating away at his chest area. Craig let out a gasp... and the man stopped chweing, and turned to face the door, where Craig was staring at him. His face... was hideous. Pieces of flesh had dropped off his face, and one of his eyes had maggots crawling though it, devouring it. His skin was crinkled and rotting... and the skin around his jaw had been ripped away. Craig: What... the... fúck? The creature let out a low moan, then slowly turned and got to his feet. He slowly made his way towards Craig, one foot dragging along the floor behind the first. Craig stepped out into the doorway, and held out his crobar at the creature, ready to attack. Craig: Dude, stay the hell where you are. James slowly walked up to join Craig, and he let out a small yell when he saw the creature beckoning towards them. Sweat trickled down both of them, and their breathing sharpened. The creature continued to walk slowly towards them. Craig: Man, I won't tell you again, stay the fúck where you are! Still the creature continued to beckon towards them, letting out another low moan. He was now within reach or James' broom, so James thrust it towards his chest. It hit him, knocking him back a step, but the creature regained balance, and beckoned towards the two men once again. James: What... what is that? Craig: I dunno man, but I'm pretty sure it wants to eat us... and I'm not the biggest fan of cannibulism... especially when I'm the victim. James: I hear ya'. Craig gathered his courage, taking in a breath. He steppef forward, holding the crobar over his left shouloder with both hands. He swung, clouting the creature in the side of the jaw. A loud "crunch" echoed across the room, as the zombies head was thrown to the side. The creature let out a moan, but then turned back to face the men, his jaw shattered by Craig's attack. Craig: How in the hell is he still standing? James: Our best bet is to severe his spinal column adjacent to the larynx. Craig: Meaning? James: Brake his neck... Craig: Now why the fúck didn't you say that in the first place? Craig stepped to the side of the creature, ducking under his slow attempt at a grap, and swung the crobar into the back of the creatures neck. He heard a snap as the creature head cocked back... but he slammed the crobar into his neck again, and again, and again. The creature fell to the floor, his legs and arms twitching randomly. Craig lookced down at him, breathing heavily, and slammed the crobar into the creatures back once more. The creature's lungs moaned windedly, even though he was dead. Craig rubbed his one hand across his forehead, and turned back to James. Craig: Doc... if this is why the hospital got locked down, then I want to get the hell out of here NOW, before we run into any more of these things. James: Agreed, I'll lead us to the exit. This way.
12. Name: Creh Place of origin: Corooscunt Weapon: Weasel stick. Trade: Merchant Age: 40 Bio: Can summon weasels to his side at will with his weasel stick. He sells stuff, weapons, cheese, people, and so-on.
13. Seph, that episode is on in the U.K all the time, I must have seen it like 4 times on Sky One...
14. I think George Clooney would be a good Solid Snake.
15. Okay guys, I'll start this up before too long, but I want you all to remember that the entire RPG will take place inside the hospital, and the zombies are only in the hospital and in the immediate area. Also, to Angel_Sephiroth, you can die at any time if you want to... that is entirely up to you. Lets make this work guys.
16. Arikel, I'm sorry but you are not allowed to be part of the Umbrella special ops team. I cannot tell you why just yet, but lets just say that is you are one of them, your life in this RPG will be unimaginably short... so I suggest you change it.
17. He was an Umbrella agent in Resident Evil 2. If you complete the game so many times with high grades and such, you unlock him, and have to try and get to the Umbrella helicopter with him. He is the 4th and last survivor from Resident Evil 2, after Leon, Claire, and Shelly. He wears a gas mask, and is pretty cool.
18. Oh, I heard that he was going to have an entire game where he was the main character, but I guess just having him in another RE game will be cool. :)
19. Name: Craig Burke Age: 21 Character name: Unknown as of yet (Will be named Goblin) Super Power: None as of yet (Will be super strength, intelligence, and enhanced healing, possibly at the cost of his sanity.) Occupation: Sciencist / Technician Weapons: None as of yet, but will have: The Goblin has incendiary and concussion grenades, theatrically cast in the form of miniature jack o' lanterns; smoke- and gas-emitting bombs, each surrounded by a light plastic mantle that flutters like a wraith when thrown; and gloves capable of discharging electrical pulses of up to 10,000 volts. He also has a glider which mounts two semi-automatic machine guns, twin needle launchers with either tranquilisers or poison injections, and has a small bomb launcher, the bomb releases a powerful tranquiliser when dropped, completely paralising targets for hours. Bio: Craig works for a company called "Bio-X Military Research." He was instagated as a head technician in the super soldier program, despite his age, and was placed as head scientist in an operation known as "Project Goblin". The task set in this project was to create a superhuman, and arm him with weaponry superior to any gun or average projectile, making him a superior warrior for combat in various situations. Craig spent the first part of his days on the project goblin working on a "glider". The design placed the users feet in two harnesses aboard a bat like design that is able to hold the weight of 3 or more people, and can fly upto an altitude of 5,000 feet. The harnesses of the feet also act as the steering and throttle. The left leg controls direction, the right leg controls acceleration and weaponry. Craig volunteered to be the test subject for the glider, as he wanted to be the first person to try out his creation. As well as giving the subject enhanced weaponry, "Bio-X" also wished that the subject be given a formula that enhances his own abilities, making him superior to the common civilian... a super-human, in a sense. Craig, because of his abilities with the glider, was the obvious choice to be tested on with the formula. Craig made no objection, and was placed in a team with some of the best scientists in the world, to try and create this formula. They picked up on the genetic structure of Craig's body, and targeted the genes that simulated reflexes, strength, and healing. Initial tests proved unsuccesful, the concentrating on the reflex gene drove the formula into areas of brain tissue, causing insanity in the patient. Through further development, the team now believe they have mastered the formula, and are now readying it for human testing. Description: Normal - Short brown, spikey hair, hazel eyes, blue jeans, black t-shirt, arms littered with tatooes. Super hero costume - (See attatchment.) Personality: Intelligent, calm, friendly, sometime cocky, always one to rush into a fight.
20. Hunk has always been my favorite Resident Evil character, and I've heard that a Resident Evil game is coming out entirely based on him. Being as Nintendo now have the exclusive rights to the Resident Evil series, I'd thought I'd ask this here. Does anyone know any details at all on this speculation? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
21. Well, that's what I'm here for. I'm glad it has helped so many of you, I will try and continue to update it. :)
22. Char, that is spam... being as you have not answered the question at all and possibly offended a few members. Please try and keep your opinions polite in future. :) And I am sorry, but I have not seen the movie either, and so cannot comment on it.
23. An old shack, decrepid and run down, sits in the forests outside of Racoon City. The shack is falling apart, filled with dust and cobwebs, very un-appealing... but yet, inside, something just went down that will once again threaten the town of Raccoon City. A former Umbrella technician, a very respected scientist named Sid Jones, has been reciding in that shack, and has been dedicated to developing a new virus to get back at Umbrella. This virus has been named by Sid as the "X Virus", and is currently completely untested. The symptoms, effects, and aide-effects, are completely unknown, even to Sid. Never the less, he is sure that this virus is stronger than any other created by Umbrella, and he hopes to test it on a few of the wild animals in the area once it is complete. However, things didn't go exactly as he had planned. One night, Sid believe he had come very close to the total development of his "X Virus", and so worked long into the night to develop it. However, the shack that he had been working in for so long, finally caved in. It collapsed on top of Sid in the middle of the night, and in the mayhem he became accidently infected with the very virus he had dedicated his time to. He managed to phone for an ambulance, and they arrived soon after to collect him. Both on the way to the ambulance, and upon arrival at the hospital, Sid started displaying very strange behaviour. No doctor could determine what disease Sid carried, and so he was rushed into a contamination room, and sealed off from the rest of the hospital. He was treated extensively, but nothing seemed to work on him... he kept changing... and soon some of the medical crew operating on him started displaying the same symptoms that Sid had. Whatever this disease was, it was very contageous. The doctors inside the area ordered a complete lockdown of the hospital immediately, until the disease could be contained and properly examined. All doors were locked and sealed, even the main entrance. However, further examination of Sid did not, or rather could not continue. The medical team working on Sid... changed, almost at the rate he did. Sid mutated hideously, clearly the most enhanced of creatures. The medical team turned into creatures called "Shadows". Their strength and speed increased dramatically, as did their appearence. They broke out of the contanimation area, and wandered out into the hospital... as Sid wandered down into the medical research area, the most heavily guarded area of the hospital. The Shadows broke into most areas of the hospital, infecting the medical teams and patients, turning them into zombies. Only a few sections of the hospital still remain uncontaminated, as the rest of the practice are roaming with zombies. The Shadows have returned back to the contamination areas, and have somehow managed to lock themselves in. Umbrella, learning of this, have sent a special ops. team to investigate this. The survivors in the hospital, and those heading towards the hospital, know nothing of the zombies or anything of the sort, as they are still locked up inside the rooms of the hospital. But, they are now on their own. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is what you need in your sign up: Name: Age: Gender: Weapon: (Please note: Only small weapons may be used at the start, more weapons will be available later on. 24. I sat in the cockpit of my X-wing as it sailed through hyper space, the blue cascade of stars sailing around my ship like a vortex. All was quiet, except for X's occasional chirping as he ran through system checks. I had almost drifted off to sleep, when suddenly X whailed in distress, and the ship's hyper drive alarms went into full blast. Something was happening back in real space, and if I didn't pull out immediately, it would rip my ship apart. X instinctively tapped into the ship's navi-computer and pulled the ship out of hyper space. Infront of my view port I saw a squad of TIE Interceptors, and another squad of Tri-Fighters attacking a New Republic landing shuttle, guarded by 12 X-wings. My scanners instantly brought up the 12 X-wings, and identified them as Rogue Squadron. My comm. button bleeped suddenly, and I pressed it. The face of a young humanoid appeared in my screen. Rogue: This is Captain Tycho Celchu of Rogue Squadron. Identify yourself pilot. Craig: My name is Craig Haro-Taa, Jedi Knight on a mission to the Korriban system. Tycho: Well then Jedi... how well can you pilot that ship? Craig: I can hold my own. Tycho: Would you mind giving us a hand then? Craig: Sure thing... Captain. Tycho: Okay then Jedi, blow the clutches, but try to Ion the squints. ("Clutch" is pilot slang for Tri-Fighter, "Squint" is pilot slang for TIE interceptor.) I locked my S-foils into attack position, and dived down towards the Tri-fighter squad. Two clutches broke off to engage me, and I rolled to port to get into a position where I could attack. I transferred all power into my forward shields, and accelerated as the clutches broke up to pass me. I let off a volley of lasers at the left clutch. The first blasts missed, as did the second, but the third shot through the hexagonal viewport, as the clutch started spinning into a frenzy before it exploded. I rolled to starboard to avoid the rubble, then set myself again. I knew the other clutch would be on my back soon. Soon enough, my scanners picked the clutch coming up at speed on me. I evened out my forward and aft shields, and dipped my nose as I accelerated. X whistled, informing me that he didn't approve of my move. He knew I could survive it, but he felt the need to inform me anyway. I guess he was protective because I was so reckless, and I was thankful for that. Never the less, I could feel uncertaintly and fear flowing through the veins of my chaser, and so I decided this move had a good chance of working. My opponent dived after me, avoiding a volley of lasers from another X-wing. I waited until my ship was within his firing range, then I dipped my starboard wings, before quickly adjusting and rolling to port. I straightened up, and couldn't believe what I had seen... the clutch pilot had taken the bait! He had swung his ship to starboards, releasing a flurry of lasers, that had crippled a squint. I was actually a little taken off guard be this... and I had to act quickly to gain advantage of the new situation I faced. I de-celerated, bringing my nose back round to starboard, as I switched to proton torpedos. In my targetting scope, a small sillhouette of the clutch appeared. It wavered around in the scope, before setting in the middle. The sillhouette turned red, and a constant beep echoed through the ship, as I released the torpedo. It slammed through the back of the clutches ion engines, exploding on impact, leaving nothing but small chunks of debris floating through space. I rolled my ship to port to intercept 3 squints who were going for a run at the shuttle. I noticed Tycho join me from below. I switched back to lasers, and poured all power into my aft shields. Another ship joined our flank from the right, and my comm. button bleeped, I pressed to intercept it. Tycho: Rogue nine, Jedi, take the supports, I've got the leader. Craig: I Copy. Tycho accelerated, trying to provoke the squints to seperate. They did, just as he had planned. The suppports rolled away, and I pursued the squint I was ordered to. The squint rolled to starboard, crossing with thew other squint. They were trying to provoke us to collide, but I could see that both myself, and the other pilot were to good for such a trick. He rose, I ducked, and collision was avoided easily, as I reset my path back to the squint. He ducked to the left, and I rolled to keep on his track, but he cut into a dramatic rise. I twisted my ship and rose to cover him, barely avoiding slamming into a passing clutch. That's when I realised... that move had put him back on course to attack the shuttle, and he was nearly within firing range. I kicked my thrusters upto full, I didn't have time to shift my shields, or to switch to ions, I only had one chance at this. I let off a round of lasers, which pounded the ships engines and wings, disintegrating it. I flipped to a horizontal position, and spun, levelling out. My comm. kicked in again, Captain Tycho's ship booming with laughter. Tycho: That's some nice flying there Jedi, the squints and clutches have been eliminated. Too bad your not looking for a place in the squad... Craig: Sorry captain, but my loyalty is to the Jedi. Tycho: Hahaha, I figured as much. Well, it was nice flying with you Jedi, thanks for the help.
