1. I would suggest you read Ranma 1/2 for its sheer comedy and slight action and good, funny, love story. Its just really quirky and I loved it from the moment I picked it up. My favorite manga is Naruto because it has a full, magical universe and world built around the story, giving the characters rules to abide by and such. And it has a good story of action and comedy. I suggest it too. I'm not big on manga though. I mean, I'm mostly an Anime guy, so if you find any Gundam UC manga's, grab hold of those. But don't be fooled by the Cowboy Bebop Manga, its nothing like the show nor does it have anything to do with it other than the characters. I was highly dissapointed, so watch out.
  2. Just so you know, this is written a bit out of impulse and a loose idea. Aswell, I havn't seen any of the Animatrix apart from Final Flight of the Osiris, so excuse me if I get anything wrong. __________________________________________________________________ Ghost Story: Lost It was late, around 12:00 am. I was just surfing the net, hanging around message boards as usual. Just a very borrying thing. Then a chat window came up, Das001, my freind, in real life, Das was his nick name, his real name was Dan, though. It was good to hear from him, I hadn't seen him in a few days. "Hello" he typed. I kind of scoffed, it kinda funny and rude, "Hello is right, I havn't seen you in 3 days! Where have you been?" I typed down quickly, hoping for a quick reply. I waited and then he replied. "Where have I been?" "I've been in the real world." I was angered a bit, I mean, yeah, I spent alot of time on computers, more than some, but I wasn't obsessed. I was typed furiously. "Don't feed me that crap!" "LOL" "You don't understand. The real world." "I fell into the rabbit hole." "And at the bottom, I found the real world." "Do you want to come into the real world?" I laughed a bit in anger. "Listen up." "I just was wondering where you went." "No need to get all poetic about, Disney." "This is no joke." "I want you to come with me, into the real world." "I'll show you the rabbit hole." "But you will have to go down it alone." "I'll be at the other side." "The real me." I raised my eyebrow, and typed. "What do you mean?" "I know I spend alot of time on the comp, but come on!" "Your right, you do, more than you realize." I was ready to type quickly in anger. That had gotten me pissed, but then I stopped as he replied again. "Meet me tommorow. I know your free" "Meet me at the usual place. The Café." I smiled to myself, and typed. "Okay, that way I'll be able to exercise these muscles by kicking your *****. LOL" "lol" "Will see you tomorow" "Das001 has signedoff" It would be nice to see him again. ---------------------------------------- It was just after noon, of the next day. And I was out in the city, and walking towards the café, ready to greet my freind. I saw him sitting down, sipping a cup of coffee. He didn't notice me from afar. I countinued to walk with a smile, ready to suprise him. Then my cell phone rang. I picked it up. "YO! Kyle!" It was my freind Thomas. He sounded frantic, scared. "Yeah, what is it dude?" "Oh my god... man... you know how we havn't seen Das in so long..." I raised my eyebrow, and a slight sinking feeling came to my stomache. "Well, dude, I talked to him last night..." "WHAT! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!! GOD! MAN!" I was confused and my stomache felt strange. "What why?" "DUDE! They, t-they found his body two days ago in his apartment. He had been dead for three DAYS! Oh my GOD!" Thomas yelled loudly, his voice was cracking and he choked back tears. My eyes went wide, and I felt terror in my heart, it was like that feeling you got when you fell down really fast on a roller coaster.... I dropped my cell phone and then looked up to Das. He was staring at me. Smiling interested. He motioned for me to come over to him. All I could do was stare in fear. I was looking into the face... of a ghost...

Ruff Ryder's needs some better headliners, because Jadakiss isn't all that good and Eve hasn't come out with a single in over 2 years. If DMX does eventually go to Interscope, it would be a good thing for RR, and I think DMX flourishes better when he's around them. Also, one more thing, what record island/label does Jin belong too, if you know? Great Tracks: 1. "Hard Knock Life" Jay-Z 2. "Justify My Thug" Jay-Z 3. "Threw the Wire" Kanye West 4. I'm not that adapt with the labels, so I can't be sure. And what about Wu Tang and them. What island are they from? And what about WC, Ice Cube, and the other guy from West Side Connection?

Taro was right. It was wrong for Gen to get so tied up over loss. When he lived in Okinawa and China, he suffered several severe losses, but the price of this battle was far higher than previous ones. Gen needed to clear his mind, and lighten up. He needed to be himself. His duty and life as a military man had gotten to him a bit. Gen needed to go back to what he used to be. Light hearted in battle, and laughing at in a fight. He needed to learn to enjoy the fight and allow his duty to go behind him, because it was keeping him from being at his peak. Gen sat down once more, and this time, he closed his eyes as he went back to is roots within his mind. Remembering the days when he was truely a warrior and not a military personality, which he had turned into on the inside. He slowly let the weight come from his shoulders and the tension leave his head. He took a deep breath. Gen laughed out loud when he thought of Taro's joke before... OOC: Come on people, lets see some Assassin's in the Castle, I want to see some action!

Well, this is sorta getting off topic, so lets get back on. Who are your favorite rappers, DJ's, producers, labels, etc. My favorite label happens to be Roc-A-Fella. The producer's and MC's are excellent and my favorite rappers, Kanye West and Jay-Z belong to the label.

OOC: Oh, how my character was so easily peeled up. Oh well, I'll just make an excuse and show his real fighting power. IC: Gen felt a bit humilated at how he was defeated. He rushed in bull headed and way unprepared for such an attack. Wearing formal dress, a heavy kimono and sash, aswell as being un-stretched and half drunken from the Sake he had consumed primary from the fight. The two hours couldn't past faster in the eyes of Gen. Asim seemed a bit more adjitated at the fact though. He, on the other hand of the unarmed Gen, was defeated using his blades, dual blades at that. He was a bit disturbed. "Hey, Asim, is it right?" Gen said to him, Asim looked over to him. "Yes, what is it..." he said angrily as he brooded. "The doctor said two hours until we can grasp our revenge." "And your point is?" "Well, next time we'll be ready. We'll no what to expect. I know for a fact you had more moves, and he doesn't. So next time, we'll have the true element of suprise." Asim looked up with a rekindled vigor. His eyes refocused and he grew with a bit of pride. "Yes, you are correct, my freind..." "Thats my boy!" Gen said to a reluctent and a bit suprised Asim as with a huge smile, Gen patted him shoulders hard. Asim gave him an akward look, but Gen ignored it. He wanted his comrades cheered up and ready to fight at the greatest extent. 2 Hours Later Gen walked into his chamber and opened a large chest, where he kept his clothing and belongings. He rumadged threw it a bit and then slowly took out a white split skirt, and a dark, faded green kimono top, along with a long, thick, white sash. He brushed the accumilated dust off of it and stood, and unclothed himself. Throwing the clothes aside, he put on his faded, green top and let it hang a while off of his strong, but thin shoulder, looking into the mirror. He smiled a bit, and went on to put on the split skirt and tucked the top into it as he tied the belt around it tight. He then looked into the mirror again and smiled again. "What a long time it has been, since I've had to wear my 'armour of battle'." a larger smile came across his face, as he knew that he was completely bare in his dressing, but he was able to move so easily in it, it was the only way he could fight at his peak. He then went on to stretch a bit. Cracking his neck after a while, he turned and left to his seat at the East Wing, as he awaited the oncoming assassin's. Gen crossed his legs on his pillow seat, and placed his hands on his knee's. He began to meditate, and become peaceful in mind and soul. He began to feel as the chi within him spread thew out his body.... OOC: I hope I'm not supposed to be looking for the Ro-Ken-Jin. If so, then tell me and I'll edit. Oh, and the Chinese Martial Arts that Gen is so adapt in uses alot of Chi techniques and I'm gonna amplify it in a comic book type way for the RPG, if that won't be problem. Nothing to big, just more than is real.
  10. I wear mainly name brand clothes, but I'm not going to pay $100 bucks for a pair of jeans or sneakers. My main outfits are usually blank solid color tee's, jersey's, and a collection of Chaps shirts. I pretty much only wear Reeboks, thats my 'thing'. I'm the Reebok guy. I style my hair alot, unless I'm wearing a hat, which is usually either a beanie or fitted hat. So, in all, my outfits usually cost about $60 bucks a peice, but I don't go shopping much more than twice a year, so its like a special occasion when I got money to blow.

One note, Albane, I never said that all of those bands are satanic and violent, I said that some of them are. Mainly Slipknot, as I know because my freind loves the band and their emblem is a Satanic Pentagram, aswell as having is several of their songs talking about hell and one of their songs beggining with "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,6,6,". I mean, I'm not expert on the band, but thats the kinda vibe I get from them. Now, as for listening to Rock music, hell, I listen to several rock bands. Blink 182, Sum 41, Aerosmith, Queen, Kiss, Nirvana, Rolling Stones, and several more. So, don't think that rap and hip hop is the only music I listen too. I'm not trying to say what you listen too is wrong, I'm just saying before you criticize something, look at what you do (listen too) first.
  12. Perfect example of a great villain, or atleast anti-hero, is Agent Sands (Johnny Depp) from "Once Upon A Time In Mexico". A renegade CIA Agent who was smooth, calculating, using everyone around him as a tool to his little game. He's the kinda man that would were a bad disguise just so someone would notice and he'd get to kill them without question. He was ruthless, showed no mercy, and brandished amazingly hilarious one-liner ("With holding vital information from a federal officer is a high offense, especially when that federal officer, wouldn't think twice about lifting up that little eyepatch of your's, and skull f---ing you to death.") said in a very calm mannerism. But then comes the releqaushing aspects, such as the little bubblegum selling kid. First he tells the little kid to "F--- Off" and then when the little boy finds him blind, they help eachother out and when in the face of danger, Depp shows caring for the boy's life as he tells him to run far away when theirs about to be a gun fight. Another being the fact that he isn't completely untouchable and that he can also be double crossed and plotted on. That is a great villain. Some one that is so evil, that it is funny, and just when you think this guy is so unforgivable, he goes and does something that is actually good and rightous, honorable if you will. Thats a great villain.
  13. If you take the anime Fooly Cooly, and compile it into one big ole ball, you would have the craziest, and in my eyes, best anime moment ever. Full of comedy, and underlying drama story, and excellent action and animation, Fooly Cooly was the biggest inside joke this side of April Fools Day. I loved FLCL so much, it is by far my favorite anime, and in the eyes of several, one of the best ever created. Props to FLCL.

I got something to say aswell Albane. The bands that you listed are highly violent, satanic, and etc. to a high aspect. Slipknot is always talking about murdering other bands. Spineshank's name is violent. Mushroomhead's band stands for drug use. So you really have no room to talk. And apposed to what you may beleive, their are several, and I MEAN SEVERAL rappers who spit a positive message. Kanye West, (some) Jay-Z, Common, Black Eyed Peas, and Nas are some of many. Yes, their is alot of gangsta rap, but you have to understand is that there are several types of rap. Durty South is more comedic, West Coast and New York is more Gangsta and Violent, Brooklyn, Harlem, and Chicago are more philisophical, being were Kanye West and Jay are from. Your on the mind set that all rap is the same, when it really isn't. Oh, and by the way, calling something 'gay' is pretty immature, and insulting to some members, so its not really cool to be doing that. Come up with a real insult bud.

OOC: My character does not use weapons, or atleast, doesn't carry one on him, so if you would make note of that, it would help to further his fighting technique. Thanks. IC: Gen looked at the Shogun, Oda, a father in his eyes, just as much he would be too Ayami. He had a highly sentamental relationship with him for years. And he felt a bit sorrowful to see him so helpless, with such a plight awaiting him. Gen grimaced and looked over to Ayami, who's eye's where hiding tears. He felt a bit, less hostile, less adjitated by her presence, once he saw that emotion. That proof that she too was a human with emotion. He felt as though a bit of weight was lifted from his shoulders. He knew that she was just as dutiful to her father as he was. "Master Oda, I shall protect you with all that I am." Gen said out of the blue while staring at the Shogun with the rest of the group. He felt like, he needed to say that, like the Shogun needed to hear that bit of reassurence that he would be protected by those he were close. The shogun had an empty smile on his face to show them he knew, but he still had the same sorrowful expression on his aged face. "I too, father, shall protect you with my life. With my blade, and everything that I am." Ayami followed Gen's lead. Her eye's dried up a bit as her chest swelled with pride. Gen glanced at her out of the corner of his eye's, and closed his own. He smiled. Maybe.... she's not so bad after all... hmm... he thought to himself. "Well, sire, I'll do my best. And that would be the best an old drunken man could do. Hope thats okay." Taro said aswell with a strange posture and a huge, hardy smile. Ayami smiled aswell. The Shogun looked up from his sad expression, and fore that moment, he was cheerful. "I am glad.... I have such a loyal following." he said, but then stopped himself, "No, a loyal family." he said with a smile. They all looked up with dutyful eye's and smiles on their faces. They were ready, ready to fight, and ready to die... happy. OOC: Hope that didn't contrary to anyone's thoughts on story line.

"Thank you Sir Sukazuma." Ayami replied with a stiff and souless reply, a gesture of manors, nothing more. Gen's eye twinged a bit when she turned. He hated being called by his last name. It gave him a bit of ensecurity and a feeling of unfreindliness, or even hostility.Tora and Ayami went on to have a casual introductory conversation. Gen hid his distaste for Ayami, he was not one to make people uncomfortable, so he brought his foul comments down to a slight suck of the teeth while she talked with Taro. This whole perdicament was escalating far quicker than Gen would like. He was still new to the idea of military tactics. In fact, the only reason he had such high rank was because of his efficiency as a fighter. His plans were basic and he didn't not plan on relying on his own men to be major parts of the defense. He knew that the castle was built so that any one trying to get to the Shogun would have to come from the North, East, South, or West wings, Gen being the main guard of the East wing and several talented warriors guarding the rest and several other parts of the castle. "Sir Sukazuma, I suggest you prepare a reception for an attack..." Ayami said smugly to Gen who looked at her tiredly with a tinge of hostitlity clouding his mind. The tension between the two was unseen, but both knew of its existance. "M'am, Sir Hideyoshi has already informed and suggested this." Gen replied to her. He hated it when people pointed out the obvious to him, as if he were a simple minded fool. Most people of his rank or above, with the exception of the Shogun, thought Gen to be a simple minded savage from Okinawa. Racism, basically. They resented his rags to riches story. But Gen only excepted it with a smile and this adjitated them. But in the case of Ayami, she just got on his nerve's with her smug attitude. "Good, then I will leave you to it..." Ayami said as she walked to the door, bowed, and went on her way. "Cute girl..." Taro said with a smirk. Gen gave him a raised eyebrow. "Only on the outside my freind... only on the outside." Gen said walking to the door himself. "I suggest you get ready, Taro. Something big's gonna happen soon...." Taro nodded seriously, and left aswell.

She looked to dainty to be military, but it takes all types, thought Diego. They saw a clutter of cars and vehicles and very slowly, walked towards it very slowly, creeping, their weapons drawn high, ready to fire. Suddenly they both rushed into and searched the car quickly. To their dismay, nothing was in it as they could see. Meredith turned around and check behind and they slowly moved back, then looking ontop the roof of the car, they both were shocked to see a bloody, dark skinned man with red in his eyes breathing hard at them. He had the look, the montrous, inhumain look Diego had seen in the pictures. "Quick FIRE!" Diego yelled to Meredith, alerting the infected man, he jumped at them, but the power of the fire power of Meredith and Diego combined knocked it back into the car window, breaking it as it fell into the driver's seat. That was Diego's first infected to be killed. He knew it wouldn't be the last, but he was still freightened. There was sure to be several more.
"So how did you lose you're eye?" One of the Geisha asked Taro. "It's quite a story. My group and I were trying to hunt some boar when all of a sudden a monster comes from the bushes brandishing a giant knife. I fought him off and killed him with my bare hands. But the problem was he was fast and cut my eye right out." Taro said with a heart laugh. His ears picked up something entering the room. As the door opened Taro grabbed his No-Datchi and was about to stike until he saw it was only Gen comming in with a bottle of Sake. "Well who do we have here? A man too afraid to use weapons?" the large man said with a smile.
"Not afraid, just rather not. Now I would shake your hand, but I'm in fear I would develop liver cancer.... or the clap." Gen replied with a wide and freindly smile. Both men burst out into hardy laughter. Gen and Taro were good freinds for a long time, and both new of each other's battle record. Their respect for one another ran deep. "Your one of a kind, Gen. You know for a fact what is brewin' around the castle nowaday's, and you still refuse to carry a weapon. Don't you consider that a bit careless?" Taro said with a smug smirk on his face, knowing the answer already, he just enjoyed hearing the answer. "Who said anything about no weapons?" Gen said with his usualy freindly smile, holding his fist up, rolled tight. "You have yourself a point, Gen." Taro complied. He knew, of all people, the power held in the body of Gen. No spear or sword could outmatch his body. Taro was one of the few people to match him in a fight, and that was with him using his precious No-Datchi. "Taro, my freind, why don't you find a real woman? Instead of bargaining sex with the Geisha's?" Gen asked his usual question. He too, knew the answer. "Because, I'm not one to settle down..." was Taro's answer always. But he hoped to someday, find a woman worthy of being his wife, deep in his heart. Gen could feel it. Taro got up from his seat, still carrying a bottle of liquor, and walked out the door with Gen. "So, whats the plan... we both know of the assassination threats on the Shogun, so what are we going to do about it?" Taro asked Gen in all seriousness. Taro smelt of alchohol, but he had a heavy tolerancy, more than any other man in the castle. He was the resident beer drinking champ. Kind of funny to see a man who is supposed to be the Shogun's protector drinking his mass in alchohol. "Well, I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine, Taro." Gen started, "The assassin's haven't been around the castle, we've hunted for spies, but we turned out with none, so all we can really do is stay alert for aslong as we can." "Thats just great. All we need now is you to be even more lethargic! HAHAHA!" Taro said with a hardy, loud laugh. Gen smiled, but they both were solomn on the inside.

Billy asked Bruce, who was just staring at him after he had transformed. Billy then copt a better look at Bruce and his eye's widened. "Oh my freaking god, its freaking Bruce Lee!" Billy exclaimed loudly, turning to the man layin against a rock with blonde hair, he said, "Orli! Orli its freaking Bruce Lee!!!" "Hold on.. hold on." Bruce said. "What is your name?" "Bruce Lee, its freaking Bruce Lee..... oh, my name... Its Billy, Billy Boyd." Billy said with a bright smile as Bruce examined the large hairy hobbit feet he was wearing. Bruce looked at him a bit confused, but with a smile. "Well, Billy, don't you think we should get out of this place before we get killed?" Bruce said with a bit of sarcasm. "Got out of this place? Get away? These monsters are every where!" Billy informed to Bruce, who didn't react very well. Partly because of the rising monsters several yards away that Bruce saw while looking at Billy. Billy saw what he was looking at and they both looked. Waiting to see if it was going to attack.... OOC: hope you don't mind me using your character like that KKC

The Origin of Symmerty video kept playing over and over on MTV in Europe, wherever I went (Greece and Germany). Its funny that these American artists are more popular in Europe, like the Gorrilaz were huge, so was Daft Punk (but their French, but still, the sound clips were english). They had like four video's playing, each, in Europe when I was their and when I left, I almost never heard their music. Hopefully bands like Muse and Daft Punk will be more focused upon in the near future. But I doubt it since the music biz is full of alot of crap now adays. Its time for a change.

OOC: Tell me if I did this right or if I need to change it. IC: Gen sat with his legs crossed in the commanders room, on the east wing of the Shogun's Castle. He had a small glass of sake in his right hand while his other hand and arm hung from the half of his kimono that was pulled over his left shoulder. His eyes were closed as he sipped the glass. Sake, even a simple alcholic drink, rose memories of his past life as a scrappy little kid on the island of Okinawa. Were he learned martial arts from that one soldier. It was funny to him, becuase now, Gen had the power to command that man who taught him so long ago. It seemed kind of backwards, and a bit wrong to him the way that worked, but he was greatful to the soldier for teaching him Jujutsu and starting his passion for martial arts, that would one day lead to his life of luxury.... More thoughts than that were concerning Gen. The Shogun, and man he was most grateful too, had been getting several death threats and such lately. Gen knew something was about to boil over and someone was going to get hurt. If he had anything to say about it, it wouldn't be the Shogun dying. Gen wasn't a materialistic man, but he rather not go back to the slums of Okinawa, were he would probably become a street thug. So, to say the least, the Shogun saved his life.... and Gen was going to return the favor. Gen took another sip of his sake and opened his eyes to see his two most skilled soldiers standing infront of him, panting hard. "Master Sukazuma, master Mito, has been.... assassinated." Gen stared at them with his sleepy eyes, but hte usual happy look on his face was gone. His face was without suprise though. "As I expected...." he said in a solomn voice. "You are dismissed. Thank you for the information. Go take some time off for now until I order you back. Dismissed..." he said with smile slightly back on. The soldiers saluted and left. Gen poured another glass of sake and downed it....
  24. Zen

    Muse

I like Muse alot actually, or atleast "Origin of Symmetry", which I heard while I lived in Germany. I guess they were alot popular their because once I moved back to America, I never heard of them again. I wondered what happened to them. I guess they were just a one hit wonder, but in Germnay, they were very popular, so I don't know.
