1. As DeathKnight has said, advertising is against the rules, which can be found here and I suggest you read them. The same goes for you MillieFan. I don't suggest you post something like that again. You should know that spam is against the rules - I suggest you read them too.
2. VERY good news for you Kevin. Heh, I'm sure you're ecstatic about all this..and if I was there I'd give you a pat on the back. Congratulations. :)

Simple

There's simple, then there's bland. Both banners just seem bland to me at the moment. I think they are both too toned towards white; maybe changing the tone of the leaf in the first image to a grey and darkening the text in the second banner would improve them.
4. I didn't get punished for bad grades. Now, I have to go into school during the holidays to catch up, praying I won't be dropped from every single course. I've had to quit those courses I think I won't get good grades in no matter what work I put in; just so I have some faint hope of getting high enough grades to allow me into higher education. I got an E in my latest official English mock exam, and English is by far my best subject. Needless to say I've buckled down and have achieved an A again in a different school mock recently. I actually blame most of this on not getting punished, since my attitude became very lax towards my subjects. If I had been punished for not achieving good grades I might not be working myself into a huge panic now. True, getting one bad grade shouldn't really mean months of grounding, but you might be happy with your full list of A's in the end. I know I would have been.

Zeh

Very nice. I like it a lot. Only problem I have is the brightness on the right hand side. It's a bit too much.

Job Hunting

I'm going to be looking for a job, preferably in GAME down in Camden - but they look like they have plenty of people already. Failing that, I'll just scour the high street.. I really need money. *looks at four pounds in bank account and screams*

X2

There is already a thread about X2, which you can find right here. Please look for similar subjects at least on the first page before posting an entirely new one.

Need A Banner

I suggest you take your request to the Banner/Avatar request forum and place your request there. You might want to be more specific in what you want, and I suggest you read the rules.

Good Charlotte

Yeah; an intelligent discussion about a pop-punk band. Everyone else has managed it here.. why can't you? Syk3 is doing his job as a moderator in that post, so I wouldn't call it worthless. What Syk3 was saying, is there must be a reason why they make you sad. I agree with him; they can't just make you sad for no reason whatsoever.
11.
(cos there's a rumor about my Tie-known-do skills).
You mean Tae Kwon Do? I feel out of place, when I'm around 'cool' people or whatever. People who drink, smoke and have sex with anything that so much as twitches are people who have been my friends my whole life, so I'm not going to abandon them right now; just not be like them. Then again, I don't feel totally isolated from them in that sense.
However, it DOES make me feel semi-awkward and out of place since such a small majority of us engage in those activities.
Some of us aren't old enough, eh. ;)
12. Oradriel, double posting is against the rules. Please use the "edit" button if you want to add something to your post. Anyway..there are 'titles' at my school. The rudes (people who would probably just ask you for your money, before promptly beating you up), the goths, the skaters, and everyone else. I don't pay much attention to it, because there's really no point.
13. Right.. it's 5am again, but here I go. "Honey, have you seen Ben and his friend?" *muffled talking* "No..darling..I'm just grabbing a bite to eat then I'll go look for them" --------- "And then Barbie KILLS Ken! That's right! Muhahaha! Bye bye Ken.. bye bye.." Okay.. it's late, give me a break.
14. Jackie Chan's movies started out as unpopular/bad ones, but look where he is now... I think Jet Li is fast approaching to replace Jackie Chan in some way, but until then Jackie Chan still reigns supreme.
15.
My mate got backfrom holiay 3 days before us. He was alone in the house. The washing machine was on the right side of the door like always. He put his stuff on the side and went up stairs. When he came down the washing machine was on the left side! He ran up stairs, he heard noise and hisss, so he ran out. Once my other mate dan, was asleep. but something woke him up. His mum and dad were in bed. So, he tried to get back to sleep, but he saw mist foating in the air. He was so scared he hid under the covers.
To number 1: The washing machine could have turned on and shook its way across the floor. Not necessarily 100% true, but it's a possibility that can't be ignored. He also could have remembered the washing machine being on the right hand side from previous experience, but someone had moved it during that time. (as in, he thought he saw the washing machine there, because thats where it is in his mind). The second one : Okay, this kid was asleep. That's a major factor. He could have been thinking about a dream he had, and he was probably quite tired; his eyes would have been playing tricks on him. A lot of explanations of how people have seen ghosts, ufos or whatever are quite explainable (most of the time) to me. I would believe if there was some kind of viable proof, because you think after all this time someone would have presented some really strong evidence... but there hasn't been any.
16. What do you like most about your physical self? *wipes a tear of laughter from his eye* There isn't really anything I like about my physical self. I'm too tall, fat, spotty.. blah blah. I hate it. I suppose if I had to say one thing, it would be my hands. They're just nice, lol. What do you like most about your personality? I don't know about this either. I'm a good listener, I know that; but it's hard for me to comfort someone or something like that online, only in person. I'm very, very forgiving when it comes to people who have done bad things to me. I like being funny, too. Life's no fun without humour.
17. I actually thought it was quite funny. It didn't scare me as much as I thought it would (I'm terrible with anything that jumps out or is remotely scary in films), which kind of disappointed me. One of my favourite parts was:
when one of the last soldiers is stuck in the kitchen with a werewolf, and he starts throwing everything there at it, lol. Also, he tries boxing it.. which I found hilarious.

18. In a joint effort, me and Ajeh managed to get James very drunk, before he sent us this picture. Happy birthday to you both, and please take a moment of your time, James, to appreciate this masterpiece me and Ajeh spent a long time on in your honour.
19. I download music off the internet all the time. I've been doing so since I first got a computer and Napster. Why? Because music that I like isn't necessarily hard to find over here, but prices are insane. I simply can't afford to go out and buy all the CD's of all the music I want. I do buy CDs when I can, but most of the time I simply don't have the spare cash. Recently, I bought just a few of the CDs that I wanted, and it amounted to almost 60 pounds worth of music for 4 CDs. When I'm rich, maybe I'll be able to afford all the music I want. However, I actually prefer CDs to mp3s, for various reasons (such as being able to play them whenever you want on a CD player, instead of constantly burning tracks), but I just can't afford all the music that I want.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve If artists complained so much about, maybe they should just get another job
Yup.. then none of us can have any music to listen to because all the music artists have other jobs.

Last time I checked, 'alright' was an acceptable/real word. I thought this was excellent, Sara. The overall feel is very 'soft', if thats the right word to use.
21. Ahh, I loved this movie, lol. "We trained him wrong, deliberately, as a joke". :D Everyone here is right though; it is one of those movies you either find hysterical or just so stupid you want to cry.
22. VOODOO! Ahem.. I suppose I agree in a way, but what would we call it? Depression forum? I think the threads should just stay in Otaku Lounge. Anyway, like Sara said, it's better than it was a few months ago.

Welcome to the boards. Introduction threads are no longer allowed here at Otakuboards, but the rules have not been updated to accomodate this yet. Still, I suggest you read the rules. Enjoy your stay. ^_^
24. It's okay, but isn't that Joseph Stalin on the left? He wasn't a Tsar. Also, the image quality is pretty poor. I like the logo on the right, though.
25. Kumomaru, you were given various chances and pointers by me, and even James. You seem to have not read the rules despite persistant messages to you and you have spammed regardless. Even though various moderators tried to point you in the right direction and asked you to at least try and adhere to the rules, you have failed to do so in the slightest.
