Is it wrong that I find this amazing in a sense? Of course I find it sad, but sociology is an interest of mine and this fits right in. With so many things that were 'immoral' becoming second nature, it's so funny they go back to videogames as the cause. There have been crazy happenings for this for years, and it's just a case of people snapping, but yet they want to blame the kids one vice for the killings. I guess people have been bashing videogames and violence in every aspect of today's media since Jerry did everything but shot Tom in the face 50 years ago. Maybe it's just those same people trying to find a reason for all the screwed up crap in the world, but it's always been there, and sadly it's always going to be.

Hmm....I guess if I were to put myself in a videogame I'd have to go the RPG route too. I'd probably go with Lost Odyssey, the aspect of the storyline is something I could live with. Living a countless number of lives, going from place to place. I think it would be neat to have that ability to become whoever you want. Sure it would be sad to see people you interact with die, but I would have to say after the first couple lives you would be desensitized to it.

It's really a toss up for me. I guess I'd have to go with dogs but only by a heir. Dogs are loyal, but to an extent. I don't care what kind've dog you have, but let that dog leave your yard and go eat food another person gives it and you have a dog that will be loyal to two families. Cats are about the same on the loyalty scale, they won't defend the families they live with so that's where they lose out....though my grandmother had a cat growing up that had to be locked up becasue it would attack anybody who wasn't my grandmother, and that includes my grandfather.

Put Down That Sea Kitten You Monster!

I'm sure there is at least one PETA supporter here, but in my opinion they needed shut down years ago. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a group that makes sure animals aren't treated overly cruel, but that's not what they're about. They are just a cult in their own right, a cult that preaches equality for animals.....honestly? Name: Alex Cubine Age: 29 Position: Navigator LOG: Navigator's Log Elpis II- day 1825 I still cannot believe we are nearing the fifth year of this "fools errand" as it has become known in several parts of the ship. It seems only yesterday I was being promoted as the youngest Second in Command these mission's have ever known. Pity nobody informed me of the meaningless of it, no I do not speak of the mission as meaningless. I would have given up hope long ago had it not been for the Captain's optimism, lord knows none of us would have. We have entered the NG 7856 cluster today, and again it seems as though it was a wash, though it is still early to say that without a doubt. I still have hopes the electomagnetic energy we traced here wasn't just a dead end, but we won't know for certain for at least a few more days, probably closer to a month. One of the MS's reported a problem with the reactor core, nothing major just some minor repairs. I may offer to assist if I can get the Captain's permission, I haven't been in it for sometime now. It usually offers a nice change of pace from the daily mappy procedures, I know that I should go strictly to comptuer mapping as most Navigator's have gone, but I can't help but wonder how we would ever return home during a computer malfunction. I won't stop my hard copies until somebody can give me agood reason....not as if I don't have the time. End Log Computer, Initialize the personal Log of Alex Cubine. The comm officer says my sending these is most likely a waste of time at this point. She says that the odds of you getting these transmissions is incerdibly unlikely due to the great distance. I must admit I haven't been sending them as much as I would like to, but today is no ordinary day. Today is Addy's birthday, please let her listen to this part. Hey baby girl, it's dad. I know this is going to be well afterwards, but today is your 6th birthday. I hope you get everything you like, and I really hope you enjoyed the present I left for you. I know your mother said it was silly of me to leave you presents up until your tenth birthday since the toys would probably be obsolete and you wouldn't care for them. It's okay, you don't have to like them just know they're from me and I miss you everyday. Now go enjoy your birthday honey.... I hope she still remembers my voice if nothing else....I hope you are holding up fine my love. I'm sorry about taking this position, and I know you warned me, but I know it will be worth it once we find it. I'm also sorry about using up so much of the data file talking to Addison, but it is her birthday. I promise tomorrow's will be dedicated only to you my live. Please be safe, and think of me often. I love you my precious Jemma...... Computer end Log. Save in next available Log slot and begin transmission to coordinates Echo 7 Sierra Lima 2. Cubine Out

I'm going to post my sign-up for Navigator here in a few moments. I was just wondering if you'd thought of a contingency plan incase you don't get as many sign-ups as you'd like?

I just figured I'd add my two cents here. I actually just checked out the sight and am amazed that, first off, people didn't realized this was a joke, and secondally that somebody would go to so much trouble for said joke.

Ashton smiled as he cleaned the blade of his halberd. Some of the others used training weapons during simulations, but Ashton wasn't like that. He was given his weapon the day he was officially made an agent, he hadn't used anything but since. It had been though shattered handles, chiped blades, and the many other damages, but he hadn't waviered from it. "Vampires...." Ashton went silent for a moment thinking about the possibility of dealing with the undead....the very powerful undead. "Cool!" Most people would have thought him strange for his obsession with vampires. But since he was young they intrigued him, and it was finally time to get to meet one; Even if they may not be very friendly. Finishing with his weapon Ashton laid back and tossed a ball up and down with his telekenisis. He hadn't perfected his ability yet, but took everychance to hone his skills. He chuckeled when he thought about Mallione's face as he dangled upside down. Something about the water conjurer struck Ashton as odd, for some reason he liked the guy. "I wonder what he's doing. Probably hiding from Alia after that comment...." Ashton smiled at the quickie comment. He'd known Alia for years, and never would have laughed at that in front of her. But it was pretty funny he had to admit..

Malice was right behind Uschi as the black blur seperated her arm from her body. Dispite the gunfire he caught her as she toppled to the ground. Something his Malice as he watched the blood pour from her arm. A rage he hadn't felt in years sprang up inside him, it moved through his body as though it was something tangible, running through his veins. Spreading itself to every inch of his being. The only thing keeping him from running into the fray, scimitars slashing everything in sight was the woman who was starting to go limp in his arms. Malice quickly rolled up his sleeves and placed his wrist to her mouth. "Take what you need for now, just try to keep us both conscious." Malice yelld for the others who had already started to pour into the storeroom. Some concerned for the soldiers and their guns, others chasing the black blur. "Alex," Malice yelled towards the one who was sired by Xavier, "make sure you guys bring back a couple of live ones. We're going to need something to get both our strengths up." With that it was just Uschi and Malice. Malice noticed Uschi's body regaining some strength, but at the same time his was waivering. Hopefully they would get back soon...

Well due to unforseen circumstances I haven't been able to put as much play time into this as I would have liked. I've only logged about an hour, but what I thought I would do is give this game ratings based on my play time every 10 hours. My first review of the game will be now after 1 hour of play, next will come at 11, 21and so on and so forth..... Okay after my first hour of gameplay I'm fairly satisfied. Thanks to all the negatives about this game I'm enjoying it that much more, just the oppisite of the whole "big hype bad game" that we've seen time after time this year. Though they really are probably not neccesary for the most part, I'm going to use spoiler tags. I'm going to try not to reveal much if anything about the game's story or anything else, but slip ups do happen. Story:
So far the story seems to jump a bit. I'm not sure exactally if jump is the best turn, but it really doesn't move seamlessly from one aspect to another early in the game. One second you character is running headlong into a battle, and the next your in a cave. Then you're accepted by a laid back Marquis just because you say you're somebody (though you are the person you claim to be). So right now I'm sort've torn from this standpoint.
Battle System:
This is another area I'm torn on. I like Union system they employeed to this due to the fact that I haven't seen anything quite like it, but it seems that if you were in a large battle it would be hard to keep track of your units positions and create any sort've real strategy. There's one other point that I'm not so sure about; In order to gain new attacks and to increase the effectiveness of the current ones, you must use those attacks. But several times it seems the order the unit attacks from is more random then based on the speed of the character. So you don't always get to attack due to the ease of early level battles. I'm hoping this changes a little bit, I just created my first union outside of the assigneed ones you get right off so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Graphics:
They did a pretty decent job on the graphics for Last Remnant. I sort've like the unreal engine in that aspect, but they did a poor job of editing it it would seem. Just as many of the reviews say sometimes images take a few seconds to adjust into 'focus' and can be blurry. I'm also dissapointed that I haven't seen any REAL cutscenes yet. When I say real I mean FF X quality cutscenes, but it's relatively early on in the game.
Weapons:
This is great and not so great at the sametime. Its early in the game so I haven't had the opportunity to play with my unions weapons yet, but it is a great feature that I can customize the lead characters weapons in many ways. Single Sword with or without shield, Axe, Polearm, and duel weilding, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Hopefully they do a lot with that later on, giving a reason to switch thigns up.....
I'm not going to touch on areas such as character depth, maps, or the camera at present since I hadn't had the opportunity to get envolved and wouldn't have anything nice to say about them early on. A little early: Okay so I don't have quite 11 hours of gameplay yet, but I'm going to go ahead and post. In reality have about 8 1/2 or 9 thanks to a lot of leveling up and fine tuning my units. I'm juiced about this rating though..... As far as the graphics and battle system, I'm really about the same on. There are a few things I'm liking more, like how you gain new abilities by using the old ones. Making it a sort've "practice makes perfect" type of "growing". The graphics really haven't changed much, but I do notice that I'm noticing the flaws less due to how much I'm enjoying the games. The pesky load scenes that seemed to take an eternity are bothering me less and less. I'm sure that's due to the story line that I'm becoming more and more engrossed in. I am dissapointed that the only character so far with a lot of "depth" to his personality is the main character. Which isn't a bad thing if there weren't so many other characters you deal with on a regular basis. Another great feature on this game is the customization. You can create, modify, or disassemble any weapon or piece of equipment. Even so early in the game I've modified both my blades I'm dual weilding twice, so I'm sure it's going to be a bit thing later. I'm going to end this with a question to anyone who has the game. I'm noticing it's blurry on my Television. Like the words are so small and smashed together. I have a 32 inch, its not an HD or even a Plasma. Just your basic 32 inch, is anybody else having this problem?

RPG Konoha Chronicles - The Torn Earth [M - V, L]
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
Okaru watched Hotaru's moves through her entire attempt at getting one of the bell. He was amazed to see how perfect her clone was, and the replacement Jutsu with the tree was top notch, but it was all predictable at this stage. "It's going to take a lot more than that against you eh sensei?" he thought to himself. Okaru was prepared to wait until Matsuda struck to try and obtain a bell, but that wait in itself could take forever. No he would stike now, and to do so he'd try a couple of wind clones. Okaru made the signs, and did his best to mask the noise his clones made as they formed in ever so slight whooshes of wind. "Should we call it a day gang?" Ryokotsu sensei's voice seemed to have an era of impatience to it, perhaps that would be his downfall. Okaru readied himself and burst through the trees sprinting at full go. In a moment he was on sensei, this would be his moment; his moment to prove that he was the best. As he neared he drew a Kunai and launched it at Ryokotsu, and as he expected the man dodged with ease. As the knife sailed wide Okaru dove at the bells in a futile attempt that was met with a foot in the back pinning him to the ground. "Now I must say I am disapointed." Ryokotsu scoffed at Okaru. "I had you pegged for the one who would get them your first try." Suddenly a pair of kunai's came flying out of the trees missing Ryokotsu by inches and striking Okaru. A gasp was heard from the trees, apparently one of his fellow teamates hadn't figured out what was happening yet. The clone burst into a quick ball of flame, of course it wasn't strong enough to cause any damage, but it did catch even Ryokotsu off guard. As he stumbled back, temporarily blinded Okaru and his clone lept from the trees. Okaru was amazed at how quickly his sensei had adjusted and before they even made it he was in a spin, planting a foot in both the clone, and Okaru's chest. The clone burst into a meaningless gust of wind, and Okaru went sailing against a tree. As he hit, a small ringing was heard and Okaru was sure he heard a audible "Damn it" from Hotaru. Okaru smiled as he lifted the bell into the air, he succeeded. His smile faded when he saw Ryokotsu standing there smiling, Ryokotsu was not the kind of person who would smile at being bested by his student on his first try. Okaru then noticed his hand, which held two bells. But if Sensei was holding two bells what was... Okaru's hand was suddenly wrenched to the ground under the weight of a gigantic rock easily a hundred plus pounds. Exhausted he stood up and lept into the bushes, momentarily defeated. "Awww don't go away mad. You should have expected that, I told you I figured you to get a bell on your first go, adn you didn't dissapoint. Too bad, you must've exhausted a lot of chakra in that little display. You going to be able to still make it?" Okaru was astonished he'd pegged him so quick. And what was worse he was right about the chakra, he'd have to switch plans and wait for an opportunity when Ryokotsu was distracted to get his bell. Unfortunetly that seemed an impossibility, but there was no way he was failing this. -
Well I have to say I personally like the Wii. Not that there are any games that I would play solo. I haven't tried it, but I was pretty juiced about the lightsaber duels seeing as that is the one thing I figured the Wii would be good for, but I'm not a fan of Star Wars (can't say I dislike it) but the first game like this I want to try needs to be a good old sword fighting game, maybe even a japaneese style with Katanas I do enjoy the part games though, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Party Games 2, Raving Rabbids Raving Rabbids in particular brought a smile to my face. Well this is about disapointing games, so even though I already posted some I think I'm going to go ahead and post another so I'm not just arguing the whole post. Madden: 09 for the Wii. Here I expected the Wii to be a great way to play madden. Stif arms, celebrations, diving, the whole nine yards I was just jacked about. Then after trying it I feel like I was watching Miami's playoff game this year, though with that one I can say there's always next year. I think that the Wii may be a couple years before the sensitivity, controls, and graphics all sync up the way they were meant to be.

Keith and Mori dove headlong into the tunnels, which turned out to be a mistake they wouldn't have a chance of repeating. Down, down they fell Keith cursing the length of the 30 foot fall. They man had told them it was a tunnel out of the city, he neglected to mention there was a ladder and it was a 30 foot drop, straight into the city sewer system. The running water quickly swept them towards the shinning light of the exit. Suddenly Mori's voice broke Keith's terrified scream. "You should probably quit screaming Keith. The real bad parts only about to happen, isn't this the South wall with the waterfall?" Keith in fact did stop screaming, at that very instance as he suddenly remembered he never really knew where the 80 foot waterfall came from. "Oh dear god!" Keith screamed as the two plunged over the edge and towards the river below. The next thing Keith new he was falling, this time he wished it had been a mere thirty foot drop. Then something hit him, "Mori, I saw you weilding fire magic. Any chance you know anything that can stop our fall?" The young girl shook her head and Keith once again resumed his childlike scream. The actual crash into the water had enough force to knock the wind from Keith's lungs, which really wasn't a good thing considering he was wearing heavy armor and forced into a raging river. Then everything went black. Keith awoke on the bank moments later fully aware he wasn't dead, and fully aware he didn't know how. He looked up to find Mori standing above him pointing at the entrance to the sewer system at the man and the approaching arrow. It clanged off a rock only a few feet away from Keith's head. Keith jumped to his feet and thought about what the old man had said. "Let's go West Mori, we'll double back after we get out of sight. They'll be in pursuit quickly so keep up." Keith took off West with Mori not far behind. Hopefully they could get far enough out of sight before they sent out the search party. Sure this girl knew some Magic, but he doubted it would be enough. And he was still unsure if he was injured in the fall, and knew he couldn't keep more then a couple soldiers off this girl he swore to himself he would protect.

Atheists Send a Message, on 800 Buses
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
As a Christian I welcome these bus adverts, they get the discussions on faith, God and the meaning of life stirred up, and that can be a good thing.
I have to agree with this statement. Anything that can get the ball rolling is good for both sides; forces some to question their faith and reaffirm it, and gives athiests a good hearted laugh. I'm afraid I have to side with the Religons on this argument. Though I've become sort've a laxed christian, I still believe in the higher power. But I have many true athiest friends and when I showed them the article they chuckeled the same way I did. For someone to actually be offended by this in my opinion is absurd and you should be slaped repeatidly by a tell burly nordic man who's working his way into Valhala. -
Now you're splitting hairs. You're saying its okay that 400 civilians died when only a fraction of that amount that were actual radicals that were firing missiles. Boy that really sounds like somebody people who embrace logic would agree with. As I said in my FULL post civilian casualties ARE often unavoidable. Please make sure if you're going to make an argument and use a quote, you quote everything that you're going to jump on. And sure there are better ways then to launch attacks into civilian territory. By the way, firing weapons that are unbiased such as uncontrollable rockets into civilian territory IS violating the geneva convention and international laws if you want to get into specifics. Israel is almost a military equivilant to us, so the "otherways" I was refering to were the hundreds of different types of smart weapons that they do possess. Instead they choose to dive down to the level of their attackers. And you can go on about how why should they care if palestine is allowing hamas to opperate within their borders, why should they care about killing civilinas. Well then I ask you, why shouldn't we have just bombed Afghanistan to hell and not cared who we hurt? They were harboring terrorists that attacked us, and I'm wondering if over 500 Israelis were ever killed in a rocket attack? Well that would be hard to believe since for every 1 Israeli citizen killed something like 40 Palestinian civilians are killed in retaliation.
War is always obsurd, but a religious war is altogether pointless.
Not trying to dispute this fact in the least from a standpoint from somebody who has seen what religion and war can do to a country, but what needs to be remembered here is that Israel has been the site of religious war for 2,000 years. Muslims, Jews, and Christians have coveted every inch of this Country since the begining, Crusades anyone? The only reason we don't fight over it now is because we've learned that backing Israel is easier then trying to fight them. I know I should look things up before I quote them, but I don't have time for that right at the moment. Anyone who does please look up the...I think it was called the 7 year war in which Israel marched over multiple countries basically just to prove a point. I think U.S. involvement (as long as it is unbaised, though we all know it won't be) could be unavoidable at this point. Sure Hamas started it, but when 400 non-combatants are killed then it's time to back off. I don't care if they have radical belifs or not. That would be like us invaded Iraq and just destorying a whole villiage becasue it was in the wrong place. I know this is not always avoidable, and maybe they were housing rocket sites, but there are other ways and Israel knows it. They just prefer the pure unadultrated agression approach.....sort've like Raiha Edit: Summercrane, you've learned a good lesson in this thread. Unless you have a bullet proof retaliation to the hostilities of Raiha, it's best to let it go because I think anybodies yet to best her.
-
Well I can't say I agree with a couple of your opinions, but I also haven't played a couple of the games mentioned. I do have to disagree with listing Gears of War as both games. GOW I was a sort've is it or isn't it game. There was hype, but nothing compared to GOW II. That hype in itself made the second one in the series fall short, but as far as shooters go the first was fantastic for its time. I guess that's the only beef I have with this thread, is you seem to be rating your games on playing them recentally. Of course non of them compare with how they were when they first came out, FF VII for example. But I suppose that's the whole "Opinion" thing, its lived up to your personal expectations when you played them.... I do have to list Fall out 3 as mine. Being that this game was made by Bethesda and it was supposed to be a mirror image of Oblivion, I expected a near limitless amount of playtime only to be shortchanged. Other than that small piece the game was amazingly done though.
And now he's dead, so the bereaved family's revenge is taken from them. Kinda like the final straw now isn't it.
Well that depends on which standpoint they take. If they take the religious approach then they will have their revenge for eternity. On the other hand revenge is sinful, turn the other cheek and all that jazz..... This murder suicide stuff will never cease to amaze me. It's bad enough you're taking your own life whether you believe in eternal damnation or not, but to murder 'innocent' people in the process, yes I know nobody other than children are truley innocent. If it was something a little deeper, killing a guy that was cheating with his wife or his wife was leaving him for, killing somebody he was cheating with so he could be remembered as "a loving husband" then, (though I can't understand or condone in the least), it makes sense. I would have to agree with Aaryanna_mom and say that, even though it's pretty obvious, if he was mentally ill (insane probably being the better word) then his actions make sense by not making sense. I would almost rather find some logic in it, sort've makes the world seem dark but there's light in logic.
-
Okay I got a copy of last remnant for christmas and haven't even got to play it yet :cussing: . I installed both discs to my xbox since I've heard it can east what are supposedly some long loading sequences. My question is (since I'll bust it out today before I get back on here) what do you think about the game? Is it what you expected it to be? Is it better or worse? Again I'll be playing the heck out of it for the next two days and get back to everyone with what I think of it.
-
Malice was still unsure about looking at Uschi. Sure it was mostly due to her nakedness and just glancing in her direction made him blush. A small part was resentment though, resentment for the way he'd been treated by the Nazi's and their scientists. Part of him just wanted to run when he had the chance, but he was what he was now a killing machine. Kurenai was following close behind him once more. He was glad to have her in truth. Though the reason why he was unsure of. He did know he felt a brotherly bond towards this young girl, a bond that he hoped wouldn't come back to bite him in the ass once the shit hit the fan. The two didn't speak a word as they followed the escort guard to their weapons and mission gear.
-
Keith wasn't sure why, after the embarassment he suffered, he was so quick to take the young girl up on her offer. Maybe it was how lonley he felt after the "vision", that nobody would ever believe him. Maybe it was the young girls eyes that seemed to say "I know what you've seen, and you're not alone.". The two didn't speak much on the walk to the slums. Keith had wondered if the girl was up to the challenge of the slums. There were wicked and evil people who lived in the bowels of Pandora, and they surely had already heard of Keith's fit during the ceremony. The girl finally broke the silence when she spoke, "My name's Mori, and I believe you." The simple sentiment made Keith tear up. The vision had torn him up so much, the thought that sometime soon he would lose everything he had vowed to protect. Then those same people practically spit on him, and sent him to his death. But yet this girl, Mori, believed him... "It's nice to make your acquantance Mori, I'm Keith. I believe we came across each other one other time?" The reference to the time the two's eyes met in the market just days before made Mori turn away, Keith thought she may have been blushing. "You scared me when you started to approach me, some of you knights aren't very nice." "Squire....Squire is what I am and apparently all I'll every be after today." Keith's head ducked down so much, he barley noticed the man approaching the duo from the side. "Don't fret young Squire of Pandora, for I know what it is you saw today. And I know what it means for you and the young girl who shared in your vision." Keith glanced to Mori, something about this guy made Keith believe every word he said. That also meand Mori had a similar vision, or for that matter the same vision. "You both are to become part of something that only a few of us know about. The truth behind the brothers, but alas your words will be lost on the ones who pursue you this moment." Keith's hands immediateally went to his blade strapped to his back. "You cannot overcome the number of men the king and your father are sending this way. They want to kill you and make it look like you were killed in the line of duty, save your family name and the like." Keith's jaw dropped to the floor, he had been stupid not to suspect this, and what was worse is now Mori was endanger because of him. "Behind me is a tunnel leading out of the city, when you exit turn east and head away from Pandora. I will stall, but they will follow quickly. I will try telling them you were planning on going west, but I cannot guarantee your safety. Quickly GO!" The old man stepped aside revealing the old sewer grate behind him. Keith ran to the entrance and bekoned for Mori to follow, he wasn't sure though if she would, or if she would take her own route. Would their adventure end here, or were they truley destined to travel together?

Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
~Don't worry about it, with this time of year we all are cut back due to the holidays and the like. "I will break your noses and reset them at a very unpleasant angle." Hotaru's threat made Matsuda and Okaru both give each other a look. It was a look of understanding, and the knowledge that the threat could easily be carried out. Okaru also noticed something else about Matsuda. He had at first hoped that it was just Sensei's words that caused him to act in the way it was, but after closer examination his "sad-sack" routine was a serious lack of confidence. As Hotaru turned and stormed out towards the training grounds, Okaru nudged his new teamate and shot him a smile. "If sensei had been around to see that right hook you slammed into my nose, he wouldn't talk that way about you. Hell my nose is still killing me." Both of them shared a small laugh, but Okaru was genuinely afraind that the lack of confidence would seriously be degrading to their team. Matsuda was quickly begining to remind him of Hoto. Poor Hoto was now stuck with Chozo on that damned team, hopefully though Hoto was feeling a bit more confident after he so easily "passed" the exams. Okaru and Matsuda caught up with Hotaru whose pace was quickening. Apparently she wanted to be the first to the training grounds, probably to show her determination. Okaru ran by Matsuda and caught up with Hotaro first and nudged her. "You need to lay off Matsuda" Okaru was surprised in the fatherly way he was speaking about him, "he's devestated by sensei's comment, acting the way you are is only going to compound the problem." Hotaru shot him a look that made him drop pace back with Matsuda who was smiling. "Maybe we should stay out of her way?" He asked Okaru with a grin. Okaru refused to answer, this team was changing him and he didn't like it. The three arrived at the grounds a moment later where sensei stood in the middle of the field. Arms crossed, that look of "who the hell cares" plastered to his face. The three lined up facing him, "Could you have been any slower?" Okaru was psyched, it was time for their first "Lesson" and it was time to shine. -
Keith awoke on the floor with the whole crowd staring at him. Not in the good way they were doing moments ago, but instead staring at him as though he were about to be crucified. Suddenly his father was beside him, helping him to his feet and acting like he'd just died and was ressurected. "Keith...Keith can you hear me? Are you okay?" Keith gave his dad a small shove to show him he could stand on his own. "I'm fine dad, just had a bit of a spell there...." Keith picked up his current sword he had been unstrapping when the "vision" took him, and did his best to pretend nothing had happened. Bowing deeply to the Lord of Pandora Keith took to a knee and held his sword, hilt first, towards his Lord. As Lord Gareth stood to his feet, all those in the audience hushed and not a peep was heard. He approached Keith, took his Squire's blade and turned his back on Keith. The silenced crowd now stood to their feet. Never before had Lord Gareth turned his back on anyone, this was either bad, or very good. "I know that look well. That is the look a dream speaker has when she takes to a trance. Please tell us what sort've vision you've had before we continue." Keith couldn't hide the shock on his face. How did lord Gareth know that? What else could he do but tell of his dream. "My lord, I belive I've had a vision about the battle of the 'Great Brothers' from legend." Keith continued to speak of his vision, " I believe that he battle is approaching" Nobody spoke a word, the legend of the brothers was but a tale told to children. The parents would tell the naughty children of the great brothers, they would tell them that if they were naughty enough they would bring the brothers back and destroy the world. Of course that was proposterous, at least the part about the children being that naughty, otherwise Keith believed it wholeheartedly. Suddenly a voice burst from the crowd breaking the silence, "All hail Sir Keith. Lord of the Nutters!" Laughter burst from every corner of the room. Keith's face turned red, not from embarassment, but from anger. He truley believed in his vision, and he was being mocked for it. Lord Gareth practically threw his Squire's blade back at him, "Perhaps you are not ready for such an honor, Squire." Turning his back again Lord Gareth walked out the back exit of the ceremonial chamber. Keith was drawn to the side of the room, where the only person not laughing was the same girl who he saw in the market with the strange ears. Why was she not amused like everyone else in the damn room? Keith's father put a hand on his shoulder, spinning Keith around. "How dare you bring shame to our family like this. Go and patrol the slums, and pray you make it through the day." The slums? Nobody patroled the slums. The slums were where the poorest of the poor lived in Pandora. Many knights lost their lives at the hands of the assassains and thieves that call the slums their home, and apparently Keith's father was trying to add another name to the long list. Probably thinking that a death in the line of duty was the only thing that would redeem Keith; though he disagreed, Keith strood in the direciton of the slums, probably his last mission....

The only thing is some of those words are in the dictionary, maybe not Websters, but there are other dictionaries that do have some "questionable" words in them.
