Ty dropped another acolyte, purley out of luck this time. The smoke and heat was as incapacitating for them as it was for him, and at this point they were all close to being finished. "Rasic *cough cough* how're you holding up?" Ty's voice was choked off, his eyes watering uncontrollably. Just then Ty was railed from behind and dropped to the floor. Clinging tight to Vanguard he began swinging wildly, taking out the leg of one Acolyte. A kick to the face made him go limp, his hold on his blade was the only thing he could do consciously. Just then a phone rang, the tune was unrecognizable, and Ty was reasonably sure it wasn't his. "Hello?" The voice was of somebody not of this world. Ty at first thought he was imagining things, but anybody would be hacking in this blanket of smoke. "Yes, the plan is going perfectally. We'll rap up these two momentarily, what's that? Excellent, soon these hunters will all be gone." Ty swung his blade upwards, knocking an acolyte to the floor and rolling to his feet. Standing in front of him was what looked human, but on closer inspection proved to be quite to the conterary. A massive frame, at least 7ft tall, this was undoubtedly the demon that was behind this ambush. It made perfect sense now, but Ty was actually worried now. He couldn't possibly fend off a demon, he wasn't in any shape to do much of anything. Knowing this, the daemon charged. Ty knew he was done, all he could do was close his eyes and pray the smoke would take away his consciousness before the pain. Ty's eyes snapped open when he heard the thud sound. Rasic was standing in front, apparently he had body checked the Daemon and grabbed Ty. "Oh thank god you halfling son of a bitch. I thought I was done for." Rasic ran through the main aisleway, the daemon in pursuit, the acolytes succombing to the black smoke. Ty noticed that all the pillars were burning, apparently the daemon had planned on none but him escaping, he hadn't accounted for Rasic. Ty also noticed that Rasic was heading for the burning pillar right in front of them. "Hey, I see what you're doing. Can I get off this ride before the crash?" Rasic didn't even pause, he crashed into the pillar full force. Everything then went black. Ty woke up in the back seat of his car. They duo were driving, the scenary suggested they were on their way back to Night's. "Wait!" Ty mustered up all his remaining strength to call out, unfortunetly it came out a little louder then exptected. As the car screeched to a halt Rasic whipped around. "They'll be monitoring Night's place. Let's just drive around until he calls." The big man nodded "Oh and Rasic" the car once again stopped and Rasic whipped around facing Ty. "There better not be one scratch on my baby" Rasic smiled and started off again. "don't think I didn't see those big ass claws you were hiding. damn things could scratch your feet and the top of your head at the same time." Ty smiled, as he let himself relax a little. He was happy to be alive, the fear for the other hunters couldn't break that yet, when Night called he would know what to do. No sense in worrying to much.

The scene was almost a thing of beauty. Malice watched as the bombers layed waste to the facility. He marveled at the destructive capabilities ordinary humans possessed, and couldn't help fight the envy that welled up inside of him. It wasn't his fault he told himself, his humanity was striped from him by the same people he faught for. But what could he do? At least now he had a purpose, the young cell mate Kurenai had been the closest thing to a friend he'd ever known. And Uschi, well there was something about that women who drew his eye, he just couldn't put his finger on it. A hand on his back drew his attention away from the spectacle, which now was just smoldering rubble, and to Uschi who was staring at him admirably. "You did well Malice, saving me twice, Rebecca, and even helping round up the target." "No I had nothing to do with that, I just followed the scent to Xavier. He already had everything sowed up, I'm glad you're feeling better though." His face turned red and he turned away to join the ranks. It was a good first day for th Geist, accomplished their objective without losing a single person. Though the bomb raid notably angered Malice, the would have been so much easier if they could've just blown it up. Uschi led the way back in the direction of HQ, in a matter of hours they would be home. Hopefully to be given a real bed, instead of the cell block again. OOC: Okay now we're back on track and united again. I'm pretty confident we can all wrap up the day back at HQ, and Nessaja will get us moving as soon as a few people have posted. Let's get this RP back up and running full swing!

RPG Konoha Chronicles - The Torn Earth [M - V, L]
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
Okaru grew increasingly worried about Matsuda as the trio placed their bowls atop of each other in the center of the table and continued talk about the coming day. "Hotaru, I know Ryokotsu will be with us, and will most likely be taking point, but I believe we should have a plan in the event we are split from him. That plan being you taking point." Hotaru smiled and nodded as she sipped her tea. Okaru's face reddened slightly, as he tried to keep his calm demeanor he was accustomed too. "I guess that was sort've implied wasn't it." He couldn't help admire everything about the female gennin, her skill, knowledge, and courage surpassed anyone at their level. "Well good thing we won't have to worry about that, since Ryokotsu-Sensei will be with us the entire time, right? The nerves in Matsuda's voice were as apparent as the setting sun at that moment, Okaru saw Hotaru look at him with the exact same expression that Okaru had on the inside. "We'll be just fine Matsuda, they wouldn't send us on a mission we can't handle." "Yeah Matsuda, and don't worry you'll be fine when the time comes. You've already established yourself in sensei's eyes, as well as ours. If your body ever catches up with your mind my class rank will be torched." The three shared a stifled laugh, apparently Matsuda's worries had migrated to the rest of the team instead of the desired oppisite. "Thank you for the ramen Hotaru, but its getting late and I need to be heading home." Okaru rose from the table and started walking towards the door. He caught their server at the front of the tent, handed her the money for the dinner and ordered the two remaining teamates desert. Out on the street Okaru began in the direction of his home, he had been avoiding his father who luckily had been on business for the clan. Tonight Okaru could sleep all night without being awoken for late night training, or whatever form of torture his father had cooked up for him. Okaru glanced back at the small restaurant from the edge of the block, worried about Matsuda, but knowing he couldn't do anything to quell the boys fears. "Talk to him Hotaru, things could get ugly if we don't have him ready to go tomorrow" Okaru turned and resumed his trek towards home, and hopefully no father. -
Superman has been frequently portrayed as ageless himself, thanks to the solar radiation.
Oh...well scratch that on my first post. There is now NO reason for me to consider dragon for now I can be the eternal superman!!! :alcohol:....well that's more hancock but ehh still beats a dragon

If you don't mind me asking what is getting your scaffolding pierced, I assume that it's an eyebrow but with you crazy brits you just never know. (though I picked up quite a bit of....slang? maybe when I was over there, mostly yelled at me at a club in london.) As far as me I've done a few things on impulse, nothing nearly as drastic as you. But I'm still paying for mine..Enlisting in the military was mostly on impulse, at least everything up until the actual signing of my contract.... Volunteering to go to Iraq was on impulse, I was bored at drill and the sign-up list was posted..... I bought my car on impulse, my 97 mustang...still going strong (so I guess that's a good impulse). Like I said, nothing as drastic as getting myself pierced, though I have a tatoo sketch done and ready for the day that I finally go through with it. (I've been waiting on another tatoo impules to send me to the parlor, but I think getting the sketch may have nipped that in the bud)

I know I'm WAY behind, but I rented this game and played it for the first time (I never got around to downloading the demo) and I was sufficiently happy with it. There, of course, were a few flaws, but otherwise it was a blast. The only negatives for me were, the length which is a given. I beat it in a matter of 5 hours my first playthrough, which doesn't make it the shortest game. But with how much fun I was having it stunk. The combat was a little choppy, and I'd find myself hitting the disarm button when it was red and still getting slapped. Or try and crouch down for a kick and wind up standing straight up and getting pushed backwards (don't really like how getting pushed back can kill you). And lastly the loading screens always seem to happen when you're running at full force and into the situation. I would like to see a sequal now that they've seen what they can do with the engine. Maybe almost make it free roaming in a sense, though I could see a downfall of getting turned around pretty easily. Also I'd like to see some more combos, though getting to in depth with the fighting would probably be difficult as first person combat isn't the easiest of things in the world. Don't get me wrong a wall run/kick and disarm is a blast, and truley amazing. Though it gets a little...boring isn't the word but something a step up from boring. If you could add a few combos into it, maybe wall run kick, roll and kick. I know you can manually do those things, but it takes away from the fluidity (word?) of it. All and all I'd give the game an 8.5/10 if I was rating it. Anybody know if there's a sequel in the works by any chance?
1. Would you rather be a dragon or Superman? 2. Would you rather have no arms or no legs? 3. Would you rather never be able to listen to music again, or would you rather never have sex again?
Well when I started reading your post, before I got to the questions, I thought back to those drinking nights when somebody ALWAYS asks at least one of these types of questions. Well I'll go ahead and do all three and give my resons. 1. Though like most people I've went through my "dragons are so cool, I'd love to be one" phase, but in this instance I'd have to go with superman. Sure as a dragon you can live for thousands of years, but as superman you can fit in to society and live like a human for your lifespan. Plus I'd love to be a real hero like that.... 2. This one is new, but it's pretty easy. No legs, with all the advances in prosthetics wheelchairs are steadily growing obselete. Even if I couldn't afford prosthetics, at least you can get around in a wheelchair. No arms, I would think, would be sort've difficult. Though I know that people do live like that, special cars and the like, my vote is lose the legs. 3. WOW, I actually had a tough time with this one. Music is a big part of my life, plus I love more then just listening to it. I'm assuming that playing music would fall under this category since it's hard to play and not listen. I would have to say though I'd rather lose the music then sex. Call me shallow, call me typical, call me whatever you will but sex is all too much part of life. Sure some of us spend too much time worrying about it, but hey....that's all I got.

Ahh I remember my first job, 15 1/2 working at McDonalds (cliche much?). Saddly enough I stayed their for 3 years until enlisting (they worked around sports schedules really good). Wow....I'm getting old. Let me just add this.... Worked 200 hours a day and walked 10 miles up hill both ways just to work for $.15 an hour.....there now its official!

Well being military personel myself I've dealt with these kinds've people, and my question is: is he a civilian, is he enlisted, officer, and if he his enlisted or an officer, does he outrank your husband? One thing you have to do, and I'm sure you've been through this or know somebody, figure out what his deal is. I'm not saying check into him or anything, but its nothing to figure out if he has some sort've stress from having somebody overseas, or the like. If all of the above are no then you need to confront him. The one thing that makes living in base housing so great is the closeness of the community, so if he's giving you gruff I'm sure there are plenty of people in the area who will "have your back" so to speak in the event you want to push for him to be moved (have Knuckles talk to...not sure what the official term is for those in charge of base housing). Or better yet (though I know it's not reccomendd) let me know where you guys are stationed (I know a LOT of the active duty bases C.E. guys, if it gets too bad his water could go out for quite some time. or power.....or telephone :animesmil ) Oh and just a heads up, anybody who thinks KG is exaggerating when she talks about the close quarters needs to think again. Base housing can get pretty tight, and if her dog was running loose she wouldn't have a dog.

Ty smiled as the Acoloytes near him began to scatter. He had taken many lives and the ones that still had theirs became increasingly cautious with theirs. Suddenly a nearby set of chairs exploded from the floor, revealing a pair of hell hounds that had been hiding. Apparently these weren't the only ones, Rasic's next comment said it all. "Any more of that holy water Ty?" The half-daemon called from halfway across the auditorium. "No, I barley had enough for all those nasty poodles earlier. I've never encountered this many summoned creatures before. I think we need to work on an exit strategy.....and FAST" Ty's comment was rushed thanks to the thickening smoke seen on the ceiling of the theatre. Apparently these acolytes had set the theatre on fire, and were prepared to make this the day they descended into hell. What they hadn't counted on is the fact that Ty wasn't ready to face all the things he had sent back, and all the people he had killed. "Rasic, concentrate on the hounds and start making your way towards the emergency exit....." Before he could finish the nearest hound pounced, receiving a silver knife in one of its hind legs. It wouldn't kill it, but it would take it out of commision for the time being. Ty was ready for the second swinging Vanguard as he turned. He had timed it right and split the evil mutt in half in a ball of fire, he reversed and severed the head off of the mutt he had incapacitated first. As Ty turned to again face the acolytes, the gathering smoke began to sting his eyes, and he could see where the fire was coming from.....all the exits were ablaze. Ty gulped as he tried to start thinking of a plan before the acolytes grew brave again.

Writing The Otaku Prose Contest Round 1.3 (Anomaly VS. Lrb)
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Mykul's topic in Creative Works
Both of you did VERY well, as we've all come to expect from you. I had to read both pieces twice in order to make a decision and I've made it. Though you both have written good pieces, the one that stuck out, by a small margine mind you, was Lrb. So therefore, obviously, I'm going to have to cast my vote for Lrb. -
Most guys, especially ones around your age, think Mardi Gras is about that sort've thing....and well it's turned into it. I was going to head to Louisiana for Mardi Gras, was there before Katrina and had a blast and I here it's still as fun as ever. But I think I've decided to just hit a few local joints up in town at least for this year. If anybody heads down there this year, there's a bar (the second one on Bourbon street. Not sure what it's called nowadays, actually can't remember what it was called when I was down there.) They make these drinks called hand grenades, couldn't tell you what went in it but they made the best I had that night.

Ty could feel Rasic tense up when he felt Ty at his back. "It's just me. Listen, we have to find a way to get out of here. We're looking at 6 hell hounds I can see and probably 30 acolytes and I'm sure more on the way." "I'm sorry Ty, I wasn't thi...." Ty cut him off before he could finish his thought. "First off, you never apologize until it's over. Secondally, I'm not without my tricks." Ty prepared to make a move when an acolyte, who was apparently the leader of this ramble, stepped forward. "You have no chance whatsoever hunter. But I tell you what, renounce your god and open up to the truth. Or you will be food for my Hell hounds." As the man spoke the daemon dogs made their way though the crowd and stood in a circle around Rasic and Ty. Teeth barred sickening unholy growls escaping from deep within their throats. "Well I highly doubt these are your pooches. I've never met anyone who would breed such ugly dogs. I mean honestly, they make poodles look absolutely delightful, also I don't know how YOU tie your shoes, let alone summon this many nasty hell hounds. So me and my partner are just going to kill everything here got it?" "Ty, how the hell are you planning on doing that?" As he spoke, Ty slowly reached for his flask. He could see the acolytes tense, likely thinking he had a gun. "Relax guys, just a last drink." Luckily he was right about the leader's intelligence level, apparently whoever had summoned the dogs just wanted this guy to be cannon fodder. As soon as he had the lid off Ty rolled in a circle around Rasic, shaking the holy water over every dog as he did so. The smell of burning, stinking flesh filled his nose as the unholy growls turned into cries of pain, as pitiful as any child. "NOW!" Ty yelled as he ended his circle by sliding his flask into his pocket and simultaneously raising Vanguard into a striking stance. Ty lept full go at the dogs, easily felling all three nasty mutts with a blow that severed their heads in half. Ty continued his motion and lept into the crowd of acolytes, hacking and slashing. Killing at least 4 in his initial burst. He wouldn't stop till he got to the outside of the groupd where he could think of the next part of his plan. Hopefully Rasic was fairing nearly as well.

yeah drill seems to always fall when you've got something going on. If you guys need any help let me know and I can throw my two cents in

Talk about a downer.... No all kidding aside this is a serious subject and it always ends in somebody getting hurt. I've known more then one person who's died due to their inability to plan for the night or take responsibilty.

Today was supposed to be the teams final training mission together, today was supposed to be the true test of their abilities. Instead, however, it would likely be the day they die.... Dean waited in the main room of the mansion that was their base of operations. It housed the six members of the team itself, as well as about a dozen support personel whose job was to research all aspects of 'supernatural' lore, and invent the tools that the team needed to kill the things that go bump in the night. The team was comprised of a group of misfits, a few were searched out by Dean and Sile, others searched them out when the news of the group traveled through the occult channels and reached the right ears. They were the first official team of hunters ever heard of, what made them even more special was their backgrounds. On the team were two humans, who knew how to utilize the arcane arts, a werewolf, a werewolf hybrid, a human who was infused with the blood of both werewolf and vampire, and a human who had been to the dark side, and has seen just how strong and evil the hunger is. Of course that thought went to Dean himself, it still made him shudder to think of the hunger, the pain, and the torment he experienced during his years as a vampire. None of the team knew of the change in plans. They still thought the mission was going to be to take down a group of rowdy spirits that Gregory, one of the top researchers employed by Sile and Dean, raised just for the occasion. Instead however, they were hunting something real, and incredibly dangerous. Dean almost cringed at the sight of the Oak stakes, the tips of which had already been submerged in dead man's blood. Dean could hear the different members of the team moving around in their rooms, preparing for the day. Sile had already fed him early that morning. The taste of her blood always made Dean gag, more so from the memories then the taste, but her blood was what allowed him to keep his vampire strengths, but minimal weaknesses. It was a sacrifice on her part, and one that Dean did not take lightly.

"Oh god" Was all that escaped Ty's lips before he saw the acolytes moving in the shadows, their steps matching Rasic's. Ty knew calling to Rasic was a sure fire way of exposing himself, but damn that was an easy 30 ft drop. and being human NOT half-daemon there was no way he could escape that unscathed. Relief came from a sheet hanging off the balcony, apparently some remodeling had been planned before the theater shut down. "I can't believe I'm doing this." Ty gulped as he lept towards the sheet, grabbing as much of it as he could and slowly making his way down, carefull not to make too much noise. Touching down Ty immediateally started moving towards Rasic, the acolytes Summoning ceremonies were sacred to them, and they wouldn't let him get close enough to mess with anything. Ty watched as Rasic lept on the stage, and at the same time 4 acolytes rushed from behind the tattered stage curtain, weilding all sorts've nasty looking weapons. As Ty neard he stage himself an Acolyte burst from his hiding point in an asile; slamming himself into Ty they both went sprawing onto the floor. Ty arrose drawing 'vanguard' and in one quick motion, severed the head off of the rising man. Another man came rushing down the same asile "what is the deal with these guys? you'd think they wanted to die the way they're fighting" Ty remarked with confidence as he buried a throwing knife into the mans throat, down he went with a gurgling noise that made Ty cringe. Ty took a second to glance to the stage to see how Rasic was fairing with the 4 Acolytes he was squaring off with.
Ufufu, my text message ringtone is the FFXII Victory fanfare! I wish I had the FF7 one, but I'd feel like a fake seeing as I haven't completed it. Also, the XII version is more orchestral and dramatic. My phone call ringtone is Returns a King from, yes, the 300. Because I am so damn epic I simply can't have anything else.
The only thing that I think would be a better FF Fanfare would be is if you could get the original, and yes I mean go back all the way to FFI-FFIII.

Yeah really not a lot to add, it's almost best if you just PM questions about writing to Allamorph. The only thing I have to add is make sure your topic paragraph has a "wow" factor in it. Many teachers that I've had, especially the non-english classes, base a LOT on your thesis statement/first paragraph. Normally those are the areas I tell the younger students to focus on when they're writing for the same teachers I did. Of course I can't speak directly about your teacher, but that would still be my best bit of advice. Good first paragrach (intro) good paper.
You're missing so little Rach and Indi and Sabrina. Although everyone should experience a hangover once. It's a life building sort of event.
Reading his one statement seriously made me bust out laughing, just because I remember my first hangover (though I wish that the sketchy memory from the night before would have continured throughout). I totally agree with it though....is that weird to wish that onto people? And as far as the names go the weirdest I've ever heard/had was a mixture of Tequila, Vodka.....and...i don't know, if anyone knows what else goes into making a GangBanger please help me remember.

I wish my phone had the FF fanfare, I would so persuade my fiancee to get it as mine... As far as my ringtones go here they are: 1.) It's America, I'm not totally sure who its by, but it's a really patriotic song and I use it for all my contacts except a special group 2.) I don't care-By Fallout Boy, I use this for my work contacts. I know that typically for work you'd rather them call and it NOT be about you, but the I don't care part really is all I worry about. And lastly, well this isn't a ringtone persay, its my call back tunes that play when somebody is calling me (instead of the typical ringer its what the caller hears.) 1.) Carry on my Wayward Son- By Kansas, this song is sort've my position in my family. And one of the signature songs featured on my fiancee's, and my, favorite shows Supernatural 2.) Wanted Dead or Alive - By Jon Bon Jovi, this song is just a classic song (also featured on Supernatural) that I take as my personal theme song. * As of 5 minutes ago Dead or Alive has become a ringtone as well

Ty stifled a laugh at Rasic's hand gesture and gave him a cold look. "You learn fast in this job; you learn that people are gone in a second, so that's why most of us aren't friends. And you also have to think about all the bad stuff you see, like we'll most likely see soon." "What? Killing daemons is that bad?" Rasic asked, turning Ty on to just how young he was. At least when it came to being a hunter. "No, killing daemons is never hard. It's when you see all the innocents killed. You have to prepare yourself tonight for some serious dead civillians by the way night talked. And I don't just mean adults, the acolytes sacrifice anything and everything they can get their hands on. Childred, elderly, adults, hell even mentally disabled people they don't care as long as they fit into what they want." Though the half-daemon kept his face partially shrouded, Ty could've swore he saw his face go flush at the thought of all of what Ty said. "Unfortunetally it seems like tonight's going to be exactally what Night said it is. Look to your right at the theater, the closed down one." Ty motioned Rasic towards the abandoned music hall where two seemingly homelessmen sat up against a wall talking. "What about it?" Rasic asked, puzzeled as anyone who didn't know the acolyte's MO. "It's freezing outside, and the two guys don't have anything to keep warm with. No blankets, no old newspaper, nothing. Either they're possessed, or they aren't planning on being out there all night." Ty watched as the realization of the odd men sunk in. He envied Rasic's innocence, in some ways the less you know the less of a burden you carry. Ty continued on and stopped in front of a bar two blocks away. "What are we doing here? Shouldn't we find a place to park off the street?" "I have a contact inside so we can find out what sort've summoning ritual these guys are pulling based on how wholesome our missing persons are. And no, my baby doesn't get put in the shadows. Plus even if they recognized the car when we droze by, it'll be less obvious what we're doing if it's parked in the street.....okay from now on I'll explain all my actions afterwards, just wait here." Ty disapeared inside, and was out again in a matter of a few moments. Rasic exited the car at Ty's direction and the two stood huddled in the alleyway beside the bar. "It's liable to get ugly tonight. The family that was kidnapped were real holy rollers, which means unless they were the manson family something bigs coming. I tried getting ahold of Night but the cell phone signal and land lines have been knocked out of the area. So we're going to have to find a way in." Ty lead the way through the alleyway and side streets to the theater, and hopefully an easy way into the theatre where it seemed all the "action" was taking place.

The best advice I can give ANYONE is to learn to do the simple things yourself. I know changing your oil is a hassel since you have to dispose of your own oil. But it's a lifesaver. I've always changed my own air filter since I tend to go for the expensive K an N brand that most places don't carry. But all that aside I went in to a jiffy lube style place (i can't recall the name but there is a chain of them in South East Ohio). I went in for brake service, and walked out to go the restroom. I came back in and saw one of the employees carrying a jug of oil from the pit underneath my car. When I asked what was up they said they were told by the manager that I wanted my oil and brakes done. Well I sensed a con and pitched a fit telling them that I just changed my oil a week ago and they could put the oil back in and I was leaving to go report them to the better business bureau. Well I got a free oil change and my brakes done, still reported them and they were shut down for a week for "new mangement". After that, and the stories from people about other places in town, I decided to learn to do more then just change my oil and other stuff. Now I pay half the cost, get my stuff done in half the time, and my car runs better than ever.

Ahh youth, I swore up and down I would NEVER drink, at least not enough to get sloppy drunk. Boy oh boy I wish I'd listened to that side of myself.... The only time I really drink is when I'm away on a temporary duty assignment. Mostly due to my fiancee not being a drinker, and me not feeling the need to do it. It is nice every once in awhile though (plus it keeps me enlisted :animesmil ) I'm not very weird when I drink, I'm usually the responsible drunk. The one who always carries the others home, and then wonders the next day how the heck he made it home. I did spend two hours watching a friend of mine slither like a snake because he was convinced he could slide right by be me, and somehow open the door I was standing in front of, when I wouldn't let him go run around Osan Air Base at 3 O'clock in the morning WELL after the NCO club closed on base. As far as the most I've ever had in one sitting...it's a toss up between the time I drank a whole kettle of Soju, 2 OB blues (awesome, awesome beer), and 2 or 3 concoctions in which they miss X amount of Soju and cherry juice in an hour while in S. Korea at a Jui....bar. *Note to anamoly, puking does not always ensure you won't be sick for 2 or 3 days...believe me The other contending night (which also ends in the closest thing to weird I've done) was when I decided to have an "alcohol war" with a buddy of mine when he was trying to pick up a girl at a bar in Waikiki (we shared a room so I wasn't to keen on the idea). So we kept throwing shots of jack at each other, that turned into double and triple shots, tequilla, and petron (I was hoping I could get him to puke). Afterwards I followed who I thought was him and a group of people out of the bar and too their hotel, running through sprinklers and a brief swim on the way. Then when we got there somebody FIANLLY asked who the heck I was. I then spent the next 2 hours running barefoot, never did find my sandals, through downtown Waikiki looking for my hotel. I found it at 5 A.M. (20 minutes before I had to wake up for work that day) and of course ran into my NCOIC(non commisioned Officer in charge) on my way into the hotel.

Ty almost couldn't contain his smile. Night normally took the "newbies" with him until they'd established themselves as capable hunters. Being asked was an honor that showed not only he was being considered a more then capable hunter, but also that this mission was pretty important and Ty was loving it. Ty approached Rasic different then most hunters, many were hesitant to trust the half-daemon's. Many looked at them as much as the enemy as full bloods, but most realized their "usefullness", and their humanity (though admitingly many didn't have much human in them it didn't seem.). "Are you Ty?" The big man asked as Ty neared. "Yup, and you're Rasic, so we got that out of the way. I'm driving." Ty didn't miss a step and walked past him, assuming he'd followed. Outside the mansion sat Ty's baby; his silver 72 Chevelle SS sat parked just outside the main entrance. Ty jumped in, and motioned for Rasic to get in. Ty started the engine and it sprang to life, sounding just as it did in 72. "Not the most inconspicuous vehicle in the city eh?" Rasic said as he slid into the passenger seat. Ty smiled at his partner for the night. "You never know what night will be your last in this business, why not go out in style." A blanket of dust covered the parkinglot and several hunters who were exiting the buildings as the duo tore out towards downtown, and the tech area. "So how many daemons have you killed?" Ty needed to gather as much information as he could about Rasic's 'experiences' before they got to their destination. Ty himself was still new to many hunters, but there was no way he was going to drop the ball and get the new guy killed tonight. Hell, he'd even make him wait in the car if he had too. "I've killed my share." "What about Acolytes?" This was a controversial question amongst many hunters, some thought they should just die, others thought they deserved a second chance. "I prefer not to kill humans, but I will if I have to" Ty liked both answers, it seemed Rasic wasn't just another soft half daemon that cared more for humans then humans themselves. Though Night said it was going to be an ugly night for them, Ty had found a partner he finally thought he'd work well with. "Hey Rasic....let's not die tonight eh?"
