He first off I wanted to thank each and every one of you again 8 pages and going strong! Secondally a little info on the upcoming mission, instead of Dean going through all this in a big speech I thought we'd go ahead and get the info on the werewolves out of the way. The werewolves we area dealing with can change at will, and are strongest during the lunar cycle. (Which is the time we're going) They do have some stragglers that are new, but they will have no knowledge they are werewolves, and will change at night. Though we'll have to get lucky, because they won't have any connection witht he main group. Only two ways to kill these werewolves, Decapatation (seems to be a running theme), or silver throught he heart. Other then that they have no weakness' and are bigger, stronger, and faster then the vampires we fought earlier. Any questions feel free to leave them hear or PM me...

Nicley done Inu, really the only thing I have to say besides that is try spellchecking before you read. There were a few glaring spelling errors, but nothing that took anything from the reading. That's really the only critique I can give besides I really enjoyed reading that piece, and happy to hear that your soul isn't really that bleak.

Dean awoke with a start a few hours later. He heard a soft breathing beside him. Leaning up he watched her sleep for a few moments, she was even beautiful when she slept. As he slowly snuck out of her room Dean checked his pocket watch... 2:00 a.m. In only a few hours they would be on their way to the mission, and another piece of the puzzle. On his way back to his room, Dean saw the lights on in two other rooms. It seemed both Draco and Dunan were up and about... The first room Dean stopped at was Draco's. It was odd for the big man to be up this late, or perhaps he was just waking up for the day. Stepping in it was apparent that Draco had in fact been up all night, apparently his nose in a book. Dean didn't bother checking the title, he was only interested in one thing. "Did you have a chance to speak with Karyn today?" Draco jerked, whatever he was doing he was caught up in it. "You should be in bed Draco, it's late." Dean turned to walk out when Draco spoke up. "Karyn's going to be just fine, she's ready for this. And you're a fine one to talk Dean, you're still up. Doesn't matter though, there will be plenty of time to sleep on the way." Dean turned at that comment and smiled. "Sorry to dissapoint, but Gregory and the boys have seen to it that we don't need to fret about travel time. Wouldn't want to miss the Lunar cycle afterall." Draco stared puzzeled at the comment as Dean shut the door. Dean starred at Dunan's door, he'd been meaning to have a talk with him ever since they arrived back at the mansion. Dean knocked softly, just incase he was sleeping with his light on. The door opened a crack to Dunan staring back at Dean. "What can I do for you Dean?" "Hey I need to talk to you, do you have a minute?" Dean waited while Dunan went into the room and rummaged around. "Come on in Dean" his voice was still very soft for some reason. "I just wanted to...oh" Dean noticed Dawner's sleeping form in Dunan's bed. He was naked from the waist up, and Dean had a feeling he was probably still underneath naked underneath the covers. "So what did you want to talk to me about Dean?" "Listen Dunan, I admire your strength. And the fact that Dawner has obviously taken to you so much is kind've another point." "Is this the be careful with him or you'll answer to me speech? Or the I'm the leader do what I say speech?" Dean stumbled on his words for a second, it was pretty obvious that this was what it is about. "Well it's a little bit of both. Dawnie means a lot to this team, but more then that it's about what you were doing during this past mission. I don't make anybody listen to me, the only thing I ask is that you take it easy." "What an odd thing for a leader to say? The more I do the less everybody else is in danger." "That's not the point Dunan." Dean was agitated that he'd so readily risk his life, "the point is I need to know that you'll rely on the team as a whole. I've already heard how you ran amuck in the town hall killing everything yourself and not relying on your team. With this upcoming fight, that'll get you killed quickly...those vampires, well besides Malachai, were nothing but cannon fodder for something coming up. These werewolves are stronger and faster, they may not have the age that some of those vampires did, but they do have brute force. If you don't rely on the team they can't rely on you...and that includes Dawnie." Dean excused himself and headed to his bedroom. 3:00 a.m. two hours until it begins...

I'm not sure where you two are from (speaking to Rach and Sangome) but I'm assuming you know what they say about living in the midwest. (Bare with me, it's a saying from my dad so live with the old person feel) "If you don't like the weather in the midwest, go inside, wait an hour, and go back out."

I was watching [B]Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring[/B] and though I've seen it a couple times I've never paid much attention to a specific part. [spoiler]Towards the end, when Sam (the fat hobbit) is chasing Frodo. He runs into the river, though Frodo is shouting about how he can't swim. Well as Sam goes underwater, which is crystal clear, he goes from being able to stand to being completly submerged. As it shows him sink deaper and deaper, there is no ground at all behind him. No place for him to have been standing on in the first place. [/spoiler] Now this is only one example of a piece in a movie that has made me go "WTF!? Can they seriously be that idiotic that they don't realize that people won't notice?" So my question is what sort've memorable pieces in movies have made you say "WTF!?" I think Botar's whole thing behind this was he wanted mods to be more specific when a thread gets shut down, and not just refer to the rules. In the mods defense it is asked that you read the rules before posting, so shutting down a thread and referencing the rules is really all that [I]needs[/I] done. On the other hand, the rules can be tough to interpret (not talking about OB rules, I haven't read them since I started so I just know what to do I guess.) So if a person gets something like "I'm shutting this down because if violates the rules of the forum" the person may feel like they're being shorted. Or they may not read the rules the "right" way, and not know which one(s) they violated. I think that all mods here do a great job, and I don't have a complaint myself. But I can see where he is coming from if that happened to him. So I would have to say, if he or anybody else feels cheated that PMing the mod would be the best way to go. I'm sure that any of them, even if it's not their thread, will be willing to help. And if not James will most likely slap them around until they do. Just my two cents...

I can't say that i know your specific writing technique, but I DO know that it can depend. Whether you like it or not, the writer's of [B]Heros[/B] are really skilled at their trade. They can keep you focus on small things, though you know a bigger thing is looming. So if you're good enough, you can take the "end of the world" cliche and put a spin on it that can unite your characters in a way that keeps everybody interested the whole way through. The 1 vs 1 aspect can be better in many ways. With only a protagonist and an antagonist it's easier to make a mistake and recover. It allows for a more versitile writing style as well since you can pretty much do anything with 2 characters. My favorite for a comic would be a rivalry. Especially if you absorb the rivalry into the whole world scenario later in the series.

Dean couldn't fight it anymore, he sat there staring at Calil. So much so, she probably knew what he was going to say before he said it. "I wanted to finish our conversation from before, when we were out walking," He could tell the subject made her uneasy by the way she shifted in her chair, "I wanted to finish by telling you that it is because of Sile that I'm so careful around you." "Wow, good talk Dean. Let's do it again sometime." She stood, agitated. But Dean was there for a reason, to do something he should've done long ago. "I have to be careful, because of the way I feel about you Calil. I've always told myself that it was because if I told you how I felt, and you felt the same It would be hard for me to focus and keep the team as a hole protected since I'd be worried about you." Dean stood up and walked over to Calil, mere inches away from her face he grabbed her hands. Holding them at their sides. "You know I can take care of myself Dean, I don't need protecting." Her voice was hard, he'd figured the comment would've angered her a bit. "I know that, this mission especially showed me how strong you really are, and it was then right there I knew I couldn't pretend anymore." He was lost, in her eyes, her smell. He felt like a child, for the first time meeting a "special" girl. He was shy and nervous, when he was normally confident and outspoken. "I've been in love with you for a long time Calil...longer then I dare mention. I don't know what urged me to tell you this today, it's what I wanted to say earlier." "What about Sile? I thought you guys had a "special" bond?" The sternous of her words threw Dean off balance. "We do, I'm able to be me because of her. Without her blood and sacrifice I wouldn't be here telling you how I feel. Without her blood I would...well I can't say, but me and her share a lot. But our bond is our own, it's nothing like what I feel for you Calil." She started to interupt him, but he put a finger to her lips. Dean moved his finger off her lips, brushing her hair out of her eye and behind her ear. Savoring every beautiful feature. "I'm sorry I stumbled so much today, I know I upset you. But all I really wanted to say if all that mess was that...I love you." [B]OOC: [/B]Hope you'll reconsider coming with us Dragons. This mission is going to reveal more then the first did about our antagonist. It would be horrible if you weren't with us when the truth of all this comes out...

I'm not sure when you're leaving because I didn't go through the whole thread, but there are always worse things to fly on. Okay first set of RP ideas has hit the ballots. Don't hesitate to put down why you are voting for a particular RP, you never know whether or not your opinion will sway a future voter towards your favorite. I myself am going to vote for [B]Shy's[/B] reality show idea. I think it would be a great way to start off, killing off other club members, alliances, betrayl. It'll also do good for a short, hard hitting first RP. I haven't brought this up, and this probably isn't the time to do so. But I need a group concensus on this; any ideas on how to restrict the length of these RP's? # of posts, duration? Or should we take them on a case by case basis? Anybody else interested in joining will need to PM me...hehe we'll have to think of an 'initiation' of sorts guys. Hmm how long are you going to be gone Chibi? Just curious since a LOt of this mission is going to fall on Karyn? If it's going to be awhile it's fine, we're at a time now where everybody's getting in a groove and the posts are coming in not so fast as to burna nybody out, but fast enough to keep the RP trucking along at a fantastic pace.

It's been awhile since I've seen an episode, the movie was a little dissapointing. If I had to pick a favorite moment/episode the first one that comes to mine is..."I'm mister mister, I get ****** you get mist"

[B]OOC: Wow Dragon's you threw me a curve ball on this one...[/B] Dean starred slackjawed at Draco...the request he made could not have come at a worse time. "I think you've misunderstood me. There is very much a mission, I've just been waiting on." As if it were rehursed the rest of the group wandered into the living room. Sile in tow, if Dean's jaw could've dropped any farther it would've falled off at the sight of Sile wearing that pink sweater. "Umm...Well now that we're all here I have some important news to share with everyone." Dean had taken a deap breath, he was about to divulge something that made his stomach turn just thinking about it. "Could we hurry this up? I was in the middle of something very important." Dean noted the look Dawner shot Dunan when he made that statement. Apparently the two had been in the middle of something when Sile had summoned them. "I know we haven't had much time off. Most of you probably haven't gotten any sleep at all, and for that I apologize. But something big has come up..." Dean couldn't tell them, not when they were like this. Tired, beaten up, and all thanks to Holdren's plan for them...no there would be time later for that. The mission was the most important at the moment... "I received word a couple hours ago, of a werewolf clan decimating a small town in Scotland." Dean paused and shot a look at Karyn... "The supposed leader of this clan is said to carry the surname Lox..." Karyn's face turned white, as the team turned and stared. "The clan is blending with the community well, and picking them out is going to be difficult. Our sources say nobody in town is displaying any odd behavior, the smell of werewolf is nowhere to be found, and the only clue is the Lunar cycle. As most of you know, unlike our special few, not many werewolves can change at will so this is time sensitive." Dean could hear the groans in his head before they were uttered. It wasn't fair to ask this of them. They were tired, weak, and he wasn't totally sure Calil had fully recovered. "Sleep tonight, because tomorrow Sile will be teleporting us all to an undisclosable point in Scotland. We meet tomorrow at 0500 sharp in the lab." Dean wanted to tell them how sorry he was, wanted to tell him that it was a joke. Truth be told though he wasn't sorry. Stopping the evil's of this world is what they all signed up for. Sure if he made them jump at every utter of a human life lost at the hands of a...creature they would work everyday for the festo f their lives. As the team filed out, Dean grabbed Draco and held him while the others left. "Listen...I know it sucks, but I'll tell you what we can do. Sile should be strong enough to take the two of you back to your home, though that'll make it hard for either of you to get any sleep yourselves it's up to you get back here as soon as possible. If you want her to leave you there that's fine, but I need her back before morning." Draco began to turn, he was obviously unhappy with Dean's decision. "Listen Draco...I shouldn't ask this of you. But could you put this off? As a personal favor that you don't owe me, could you please take care of Karyn tonight. I didn't make a big deal of it, because...well I don't even know what to say to her. We've drifted apart since this team became a reality and I just don't have the bond with her that you do. Please..." Dean didn't allow him a chance to respond. He had one more person he needed to speak with before he headed off to bed. He doubted, though, that she'd have much to say to him after his screw up today. He had realized something after she walked away though, something he didn't know how much longer he'd have to tell her... Well my fiance played a particularly mean trick on me last year by going all out and telling me she was leaving me, she even went as far as to pack a suitcase and got in her car and left...well I had the last laugh when she came back and had to iron all of the clothes she'd packed. So this year I'm focusing all of my attention on getting her back. Though I haven't decided yet on how or what

Unless you're saying everybody should post a full idea instead of the "outline". The only problem with that second way is it really limits the input everybody will have. Afterall, some members have joined to assist in mainly the planning phases. By the way, as of right now I've received 2 ideas for RP's. We'll keep it open until Friday 12:00 A.M. I kick around the idea of going out there, Korey's a vetern afterall; and I haven't visited Old Town in quite awhile. Might be a lead on Sarah, the missing little girl I've been searching for. I do agree that something like that would be neat, though it's purpose would probably be non-exsistent. I'd be all for it if somebody would want to spend their free-time doing it. Also bot man, feel free to intertwine me at your own risk...

Well bot man I don't think it's as much as people don't care, I think it's more of the time its taken. Plus at some point you have to step in and say "Okay we're doing this", it's great to get people's input. But too much in certain things will keep people's interest. A suggestion from me would be to go ahead and make a decision, and then just to keep those who expressed interest in the loop and let them know you're moving forward. Send a PM to everybody so they know to keep an eye out.... As always my advice isn't full-proof, but it's better then giving up. Especially on an idea you had that could be fun depending...

You mention Halle Berry in spandex, but yet no mention of Angelina's booty in Wanted (any questions as to why I enjoyed wanted?) Just to keep from causing distress over not contributing I have to agree with you Lunar, about the transformer's comment. It's all about the CG now adays, and every company wants to compete.

Well first off a big congrats to James, I'm hoping it won't interfere with your OB duties :nono:. Hmm...reading everybodies posts I was sure I would have something witty and clever to say, but then I remembered I'm drizzt not Allamorph... So I'm going to have to say that you don't have to be a cool black person to dance your *** off. You just have to have no shame and not expect to pick up a date and you can go to town.

I tried that recipe for peppers KG, I'd only ever made them with Sausage...not sure why I never thought to try ground beef Turned out awesome, I'm going to attempt something with them though and try some sort've breading on the inside...not sure whether to try stuffing (like stovetop, but idk about that) or something a little different. But something good other then rice (just for something different).

I still think the ruining a pizza is up in the air, I'm still leaning towards hard to ruin it...well unless you're chibi. But that's not fair because it sounds like she'd turn water into a brick by boiling it (no offense chibi, only love) :animesmil.
