Hmm...I'm voting Rule #2 be dubbed the new golden rule.

I can't say I have any amusing stories, though I pulled the old unscrew the cap on the pepper on a friend when I made us breakfast when we were younger. As far as me I tend to skip breakfast alot, working third shift and then heading straight to class it usually involves stocking my backpack with Granola bars (yum) or the occasional stop of at Tim Hortons for a sandwich.

Kilo shook his head as he picked Burt up, it was so rare to see him hurt, even more rare to see him in this condition. "Hmm...bet we could just take the arm off and give you a second mechanical one." The notion apparently didn't sit well with Burt. "AHH NOO!!!" Burt cried out, apparently the thought of another mechanical arm didn't sit well. It did, however sit well enough with the others to get some nervous laughter out of the others. "Anya, you have any data on human biology to help?" Anya shook her head solemly. None of them knew how bad Burt was hurt, though the small flow of blood seemed like a good thing to Kilo. "Zeke what about you?" Zeke shook his head, but then a sly grin popped up on his face. "No, but I'm all for taking his arm. I think he'd look better with two artificial limbs." Zeke crept towards Burt with that devilish grin. "AHHH Keep him away from ME!" Burt cried out "Zeke leave him alone." Anya put her hands on Zeke's shoulders drawing a sigh from the young robot. "Fine mom, hey why don't you and dad go make a baby or something" Zeke scoffed playfully. Kilo turned red quickly turning towards the dynamic duo "Cp, Axel?" Kilo almost smiled at the two's head shake in unison. "Kilo, I believe I may be able to help. Though you machines have become more advanced, the human body has not changed much. I believe I'll be able to repair him." R-112 spoke up. Arriving at the room Kilo layed Burt on his bed, so many times he'd carried other robots here, but it was the first time Burt was to be the one to be worked on. "Now how much do you know R-112?" Kilo's face was as serious as death at that moment as the fear crept up for his friend. "I was programed with a basic understanding of Human biology to aid the human soldiers in battle." They were about to get started...

OOC: Sorry about my lax guys, been kind've hectic. It's coming up on the last push though... Dean dashed out of the bar closley followed by Karyn and Draco. "Dean where are we going? You said Dawner had a message from Calil. Shouldn't we be searching for him too?" Draco shouted. "He'd already relayed it too me she's at..." Just then as they rounded a corner Dean slammed into something harder then any wall. "Dean, what are you guys doing? Have you found Calil yet." Anya stood rubbing her shoulder Dean had slammed into, while he simultanousley rubbed his. "No, but I know where she is. Listen you guys have to find Dawner it's...." "Already did. He and Dunan are...well reuniting." She had an odd look of relief and contempt at the though of Dunan and Dawner. "Listen go get them and meet us at stonehenge, it's only a couple miles southeast of here. Holdren's going to force Calil to open the gates of hell..." That statment made Dean feel as horrible as could be. How had he let his love slip like that...he had to get her back. "Okay I'll get them, you guys leave one of those assholes for me." Anya quickly took off towards the pub. ------------------------------------------------------ A half an hour later, huffing and puffing the trio arrived at a scene of utter chaos. Just as the vision Calil had sent the monument known as Stonehenge was completly blacked out by a cloud of poison. Apparently quite a bit large three figures could see looming outside of the cloud. Rushing up on the scene as he'd thought it was Calil, Holdren, and Fabian. "Dean how wonderful you could join us. Calil was just telling us how she hoped you'd join us for the end of mortal life on earth." "Dean I'm so happy you could make it." Calil, obviously under a spell, smiled wickedly holding a dagger. It was obvious it was the same one that took Dawner's powers. She turned slowly and entered the cloud, lost in the cloud of pure poison that would kill anything except somebody who infact lived on poison. "CALIL NO!" Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, dozens of flying demon like creatures appeared circling the sky. As one landed it was a hulk of a creature. About Draco's size with dark black membranous wings, it charged Dean only to be slammed with a fireball. "Father! stop this madness!" It was Dawner and the others. "Guys we're all together again, let's get rid of these minor demons and save Calil!" Dean drew out his blade and charged at the demons.

Anya's comment made Kilo cringe a bit...he'd followed through on his promise to himself so far, but now he was getting worried. If the military attacked there would be blood...a lot of it. "You okay?" Axel looked at Kilo oddly, probably wondering what was keeping him so deep in thought. "Nothing..." Kilo trailed off scanning the area ahead of them with this sniper like eye attachments. "Don't worry big guy I'll be here to protect you." Zeke patted him on the back laughing. Burt was the only one who knew Kilo's vow not to kill another soul after his escape caused the death of over two dozen people. "Leave him alone Zeke, Kilo you see something?" There had been a few possible choices in their trip back home. Three roads that lead back to the space port... "Zeke...come here." Zeke walked over, doing a great job of looking "casual". "What's up Kilo? Which root do you think we should take?" "Well the road on the left is completly deserted so I'd say that wouldn't be a good idea. The other two are full of civilians, but check this out. The road straight ahead is full of civilians with high and tight haircuts. I'm thinking they're planning on letting us walk through, checking us out, and hitting us from the space port AND the rear." "So which way should we take?" "The road on the left would keep the civilian casualties down. But heading to the right will put us among the REAL civilians...Its your call."

You know i've never seen what spam ACTUALLY looks like. I've seen the can, held the can, placed almost a hundred cans inside a teachers locker as a prank. For some reason though I've never bothered to look inside...

Well I tend to not pry in others affairs, but this actually hits close to home. My nephew's father is bi-polar and skitz, so I know the strain it can place on EVERYBODY when an episode hits. The best thing you can do is just take your time and as takuuya said take it that she is trying to help you in a way that seems right to her, but at the same time is wrong. As far as your ideas go I know you're a good guy who wouldn't act on any tendencies, but that should include pushing your sister away. Sure she aggrevates you, but when she gets back on her meds, or an adjusted dosage, you'll wish you hadn't harbored those feelings. Now that's just based on the fact that you said she's not normally like this. So when she's even show her the convo and show her how much she hurts you. Not to make her feel bad but to show her how she is off her meds and to help her stay on them. If you truley love her you should help her, not harbor hate against her. Now that's just me, I'm sure people will disagree and say you shouldn't bother, but you'll decide for yourself.

Kilo sighed as he carried two of the ferris wheel cars across his shoulders. "What's the matter K...K.." Burt tried forcing the name out...for some reason he'd been changing the way he called to the droids. "It's okay, you don't have to call me by my human name Burt. There's only one person I feel human around here...but anyways. I'm just worried about Zeke..." "He'll be fine big guy, besides if he's not I'll fix him up." "Well I wouldn't want anybody else working on him Burt." Kilo smiled and continued to tear apart the ferris wheel. It was the truth, Burt had proven to be quite possibly the best mechanic around. There may have been those who specialized in Mechs, and those that did droids, but Burt was the master of all of the above.

Dean was glad he threw up, it expelled much of the booze that would've clouded his mind more then it already was. "Bar tender, two more" Anya yelled as she slammed her glass on the table. "I appreciate it Anya, but I have to check on everybody else." "Suit yourself lightweight, they were both for me anyways" she said with sly look in her eye. Dean walked upstairs to see how his team was doing just as Dawner pushed past him...well at least it looked like Dawner. Peering into the room he came from he noticed the broken window and a form leap into it. Apparently things had gotten rough and Dawner tossed Dunan straight out the window. "I thought you had control of him?" "I did two, the brat hit me by surprise." Dunan was shaking shards of glass out of his har. "Lucky that's only a second story window, otherwise I would've had to take the stairs." "Hang on let me get the others and we'll go out and search for him..." That was when Dean noticed the dagger inbedded in Calil's room. "God what the hell now?" Dean ran to the door and ripped out the note the dagger pinned to the door. Sorry I had to leave the party just as it was getting good Dean. I didn't even have a chance to ask your little girlfriend if she wanted to be the one to open the gates of hell up for us. Don't worry I'll get her back to you in one piece...the alive part is all up to her. Your vamp buddy is probably realizing about now what a mistake he made by turning Dawner...well his bad. I suggest you focus your attentions on him and just leave your precious Calil to me. Holdren will be in touch once the gate is open...you can't run an army without its commander and his generals now can you? Fabian "Bastard" Dean slammed his fist into the door splintering it. Just then Draco's door came open. "Dean what is it?" Dean had always felt good about having Draco around. He put his hands on the big mans shoulder for support. "Fabian...has...Calil." Dean was on his knees ready to vomit. How could he have snuck in here right under everybodies noses... litteraly. With vamps and wolves in abundance you think soembody would've smelled it. "How could this be?" Then Dunan's impatient voice rang down the hallway. "Dean we need to find Dunan...wait what happened?" "Dunan, take Anya...well try to she may be too drunk, but get her and go after Dawnie. Draco go get Karyn, we need to find Calil." Draco nodded and tapped on Karyn's door. They didn't have much time...it looked like the endgame was near... Just then a vision hit Dean...a poisonous black cloud surrounded Stonehenge... Apparently Calil got a message to Dawner via the Ankhs. "Dunan...Dawner is still Dawner. I'm not sure what he's struggling with but he sent me a message from Calil. We'll go find her, I'm sure he's wandering around here somewhere. Get to him before he kills anyone." Dean walked downstairs to the main floor and waited for Karyn and Draco to join him. --------------------------------------------------- Endgame? No don't cry not the endgame to the story, I'm talking armageddon. But I guess if we don't stop it...it would be the end of the story...uh-oh...
I'll probably start washing my hands more and shaking others' less now just so I feel a bit more secure.
I'm glad somebody mentions the simple things everybody can do to help avoid becoming infected. The numbers bounce around everywhere, but the simple act of washing your hands cuts down transmission of these types of virus' anywhere from 30% to 85% (again depending on whose numbers you use, either way that's a nice cutback) I'm just going to stay away from shady characters:shifty: and their dirty hands.

"There done and done" Anya moved back and smiled. Kilo loved her smile, though he wished he could share her enthusiasm. The tail, while sewn on quite well, only served to futher embarass Lyon, and while embarassed Lyon was a good sight he did feel sorry for the boy. "Okay Lyon you're fully ready to hop on stage..." Anya's pun drew a wave of laughter from everybody but Lyon. Zeke had jumped up on the make up table to ambush lyon again. This time however, when he lept Kilo was there to catch him and walk him out of the room. "Hey let me go you big lumox, I have to tease him. Common..pretty pretty please?" Zeke's childlike begging, accompanied by his puppy dog eyes almost got what he wanted. "You need to get ready for your final act. And quit kicking, you know damn well it won't get you anywhere." "Final act what are you talking about? I'm done performing." Kilo shot him a wink "Autographs. You know the second the bunny goes off stage and the show is over you, anya, and the rest of the cast will be swarmed. Though tonight I might venture that Lyon will get asked for the most tonight. A lot of children out there, and you know how much they love the bunny." Zeke was gone, he was already thinking about the autographs and in his own little world. "Aww to have that kind've young enthusiasm." It wasn't that Kilo was old, but his deamenor kept him as one of the "adults". He spent more time worrying about the "younger" members then anything else. Zeke in particular, his love for performance made him do some pretty crazy things. "I'm going to go gather the others that are done to join you. Think you can behave yourself?" "Hey make sure you talk to Anya last, you never seem to want to leave her alone...yeah that's right don't think I don't know ya big ox." Zeke shot him a wink that made Kilo sweat. He'd thought nobody knew, well as long as Anya didn't find out it probably wouldn't go any farther.
Yeah, I don't really think eating pork is the problem here.
Well, see if I try to put a humorous spin on a subject while you're around Sara. Yes I realize that the flu (A respitory virus that would not survive in the pigs body long enough for somebody to become infected by eating said pit) mutated into a strain that could affect the human body. Then, where it bested Avian flu, mutated again into a nasty little bug that can be passed from human to human. See my first post was MUCH more entertaining then rattling off the same thing everybody already knows...

Terral entered the room, Auron thought about how amazing it was to see vampire and werewolf alike stand as he entered. Perhaps it was the mutual respect given to somebody in "command", or perhaps it was just the anticipation of the coming mission. Not many people, human, vampire, or wolf have survived more then a handfull of encounters with the...beasts. Everybody knew that, and everybody was ancy. "Are we missing some people? I believe i said 5 hours not 5 and a half...Auron, Tila I'd hoped you would be stronger leaders then this." Auron shot a look at Tila that screamed "Can you believe this ass?" "Kurai, go fetch the stragglers." Auron turned to ask one of his to, but was interupted before he could get a word out. "Don't worry, I'm sure they're all together. Kurai may be young but she has one of the best noses in our clan. I'm sure she'll have them back very soon." Tila assured Auron and Terral "Hmph, I hope that in the future you two do a better job of keeping your troops in line. I will be waiting, just come through this door when everybody returns." With a low throated growl Terral turned and exited the room the same way he entered.

Dean slowly turned towards Calil, who was slumped onto the floor. "Calil...oh my god." Running over to her he was relieved to find she was only unconscious, most likely from one of Fabian's psychic attacks. "He's gone...I can't feel him anywhere." Dawner said in a way Dean couldn't figure out was relief or sadness. "Well...Draco can you carry Calil? I would, but I'm starting to wonder if i can carry myself." -------------------------------------------------------- The trip back to the tavern where this had all began was a somber one, while they were all glad to have gained an ally as strong as Anya, the loss of Sile was more then most of them could bear. Dean had Dunan carry her body back with them, that way in a day or so they could give her a proper burial. They had a lot to talk about, Dean knew what was coming next. But knew they had no chance of stopping it at the current moment. Right now they just had to take a couple days to recouperate... -------------------------------------------------------- Okay mission #2 down. Of course since Sile is dead our transportation is shot, but I don't think that'll be a problem. We'er going to make the inn our home for now. Let's take a couple days for down time, and then the 3rd and possibly final mission will begin.

RPG Konoha Chronicles - The Torn Earth [M - V, L]
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
Okaru was panting, he put almost all he had into his wind bullet jutsu, only to have it knocked back his way. "Am I really that weak?" was all he could think. "Yes sensei, I'm fine. Thanks for helping me." Okaru bowed low, because truth be told he did save him. Sure Okaru could've dodged for another few moments, maybe landed one attack, but the result of that happened anyways. Ryokotsu scanned the surrounding area, seeing the dead bandits lying around. "You did well Okaru, you took care of the foes that needed. One of those arrows those bandits were lobbing our way could've been fatal." The praise came as a shock to Okaru, he'd expected to be ridiculed for failing to beat the shinobi. Probably because that's what his father would've done, but instead sensei gave him some thread of hope. Then came Matsuda, bounding as excited as could be. "Wow Okaru, you did a great job apparently. Me and Hotaru fought some too, isn't this an awesome mission." Okaru let his guard down, he couldn't help it. He laughed harder then he'd laughed in a long time. He reached a hand up and patted Matsuda on the shoulder, "You've sure come a long way from the scared to fight Matsuda we brought with us. Are you sure this isn't one of Hotaru's Genjitsu's gone bad?" That drew a laugh from both Hotaru and Ryokotsu sensei. It was the truth though, something had happened to Matsuda. At the start of this he acted like he didn't want any part of it, and now he seemed ready to face the day. Though that was short lived as a rustle in the bushes drew their attention. Then Ryokotsu's voice broke the silence "Okaru, Hotaru up front. Matsuda right flank." Before they could react Ryokotsu shot off to the left flank... -
Kilo always marveled at his metal allies as they performed. It would be easy enough to use all Holograms, the humans wouldn't have a clue, but in classic circus style they choose to weave a wonderland of twisting and twirling. Not for Kilo though, his sheer size made anything but a sideshow attraction, the strong man in particular, nothing but a pipe dream. He didn't mind though, he helped run some of the carnival games, and aided in the setting up and tearing down, and received a front row show everynight. Yes things were great, though Kilo was a worrier at heart and the ever present reality that they could be discovered caused him to double check his...special parts before everyday began. Anya had just finished her routine...and boy she looked pretty. But one of the "stars" of the show was about to perform now, Zeke always delivered. Kilo kicked his enormous feet up and waited in anticipation for Zeke and the others in this performance.

It was during one of these missions that Kilo's AI grew intelligent enough to realize what he was doing was not the most efficient way to deal with the human's wars, and he grew sorry for the ones he killed. On his last mission he prematurely activated his nanotek synthesizers creating half a dozen gatling guns. Upon arrival his cargo crate was opened and he unleashed hell killing anybody in his escape path. The resulting death toll left him in a dark place where he swore he would never kill again, even if he had no other choice. Appearance: I have class so this will have to wait till tonight

Dean could actually feel when the last drop of Sile's blood left his veins. A sort've freezing heat rose through his body both chilling and scorching him. He looked up to see Lox raise a massive paw into the air for the killing blow... It's finally time to rest...Calil I'm so sorry to have left you so early. So much more time...so much more to do... Dean closed his eyes, he knew the blow was coming but couldn't bear to watch it. After a moment, Dean snapped his eyes open. Why hadn't the blow fallen? Looking up, Dean saw Draco struggling with Lox. Like two massive beasts straight out of a story they fought. Teeth knashing, vicious jaws snapping each other. A new hope entered Dean's head. Maybe his death wouldn't be the end? Maybe Draco and the others could somehow do it without him... Then the dread returned, Lox planted a kick into Draco's chest that sent him into a wall, and was immediateally on top of him moving for a killing blow. Though he was stayed just inches away, a blue aura glowing from his neck. "Daw..Dawnie?" Dean managed to sputer. "I'm here Dean, and I've learned a thing or two about my psychic abilities." Dean smiled as he finally succumbed to the darkness... In the darkness Dean saw a figure, standing in the darkness. So close to him, but too far away for him to reach. "It's time to awaken Dean, time to lead hell's charge back to this plane." The voice was Holdren's, but the figure looked like Fabian. "You've...managed to possess two psychics at once?" "Yes it's possible, though sometimes hard to control. No matter though, Fabian will be dead within a few minutes anyways. And Holdren is long gone, he's on his way to your teams next checkpoint." "I'll never help you, you've manipulated me for far to long already you demon!" Dean tried reaching out for the man with his hands, tried to choke the life out of him, but it was to no avail. "Oh belive me, I know you wouldn't. Fortunetly for me, your demon half will respond a little better." "What!?" "Oh you never knew? You see when you and your little dead friend made your pact, you forgot to read the fineprint. The "deal" she made, allowed me to infuse you with some of my own blood, making you my son. But as I said earlier, I never accounted for you to discover the blood would keep you in limbo, though you never knew that did you. Never knew what was really happeneing, how sad for you..." "You bastard...I'll never allow it. I have a much stronger will then that." "We shall see...it's time to awaken my pet...my son." The darkness faded away, and Dean was once again back in the cave. This time however, he was overcome with the strongest feeling of hate... Raising to his feet he suddenly felt pity on Lox, and something told him it was wrong to hurt him. "Dawner, let him go." Dean growled at the young man. "Are you crazy? Dean he'll kill us all." "DAWNER!" Dean roard, throwing a puch that landed square in his ribs sending Dawner into a nearby wall. The blue aura faded off of Lox's neck, just as Draco grabed the wolf by the head, and with a mighty wrench severed the head. "You guys take Fabian, Karyn needs this to cure her of her poison." He didn't even notice what Dean did to Dawner Dean turned his attention to Calil, who was unaware of the events unfolding as she was locked in battle with Fabian. Dean could feel his love for Calil, but for some reason hated that. But the hate he had for Fabian he loved, so he turned his attention to Calil...the one he loved, but yet hated... OOC: Okay that was a mouthfull, Sorry about the length, with the past couple weeks being what they've been it's been hard to get on much. So here's the skimmy, Dean's in a sort've ferral bloodlust rage right now. Lichen it to a supercharged Draco/Dunan combo, and for the time being is stronger. Don't worry I'm not planning on being this way for the rest of the RP, just until Fabian gets away with Dawner's powers in that magical dagger. Then, as you've all realized how I do this, more revilations about our current predicament.

Only Sierra left... Right now Dawner, Draco, Calil, and Dean are in the cave. -
"I envy your lot in so many ways," Auron started, feeling inpolite interupting her meal, "you gain so many powers, but yet still get to enjoy so much about being human." He took a swig from his glass. It appeared to be water, but really was a mixture of Saline, Sucrose, and plasma. A treat that held many benefits of blood, but wouldn't sustain as long. "Okay enough small talk, it's time to for business. Though I do apologize for interupting your meal." Tila just made an odd "omph" sound, hopefully that was in agreement. "You really are an odd one aren't you?" The young wolf that had joined them chimed in, Auron had thought her name was Kurai, but wasn't certain, "you favor the treaty AND you seem to actually respect us. Weird..." Auron just put an eyebrow up at her and looked back at Tila, "This is sort've the thing I'm wanting to talk to you about. I noticed your friend, Talos I believe his name is. I see he's a bit of a hot head, and I'm sure it has something to do with everything going on." "I'll handle my own men vampire." She almost spat a hunk of food out as she spoke. "I didn't mean any offense, I have more then one member of my squad that I'm worried about. We share many differences, but we are united in a cause." "A cause that your kind brought upon the world Vamp." The big wolf from earlier said from somewhere behind Auron. "Talos, be..." Auron stood, turned and approached the man. "I'm sorry that our kind screwed up, but it's not like your kind doesn't have some glory hounds searching for a way to make their immortaility truley immortal. So if you want to start trouble, and not take this seriously. I swear to you that I'll make it happen." Auron stood, staring the big man down. Aware that this was a slippery slope, he wanted this treaty, wanted it to last forever, but he wouldn't allow these wolves to label him a coward for it. He waited for somebody to hopefully say something, and not let this turn into a day of bloodshed...well at least not vampire or wolf blood being shed

I'd rather it be a psychic one, besides she should be simple. Probably takes a lot of concentration to keep a shield like that running constantly?
