We'll vote, but as I said I'm going to PM everybody to find out HOW we're going to vote. I'd like to do it over PM so I'm thinking we'll just have everybody who's interested PM an idea to everybody involved. Then we can move on accordingly. Probably something like your idea in the convention center Botar, we'll start with a broad idea vote then narrow it down and so on. I'm actually working on the PM as we speak, so look for it soon if I haven't sent it yet... Wow great new additions by the way, good to have you all aboard.

Dean sighed, there he was all alone in his room. While everyone was enjoying the time off. "Seems like this is always the way it's going to be eh boy?" The large wolf's big ears stood up and he glanced up at his master lovingly. Dean had found Cota while him and Sile were working together in one of their first missions. His pack had been devastated, and only he and his mother, who was dying anwyas, had survived. Dean remembered how sad he felt for the silver colored wolf, especially when he looked at him with those ice blue eyes. There was a knock on the door, Dean prayed it wasn't Calil. After he'd just let her leave without telling her, not once but twice, he couldn't face her a third time at that moment. Instead he was relieved to find it was Sile, walking in naked as a newly born baby. Most others were intimidated by her, or turned away in embarassment. This was how he saw her more often then not, especially after a mission. It was like she enjoyed the freedom she could never receive in the life she had. "You nose in those books AGAIN Dean!?" She'd always told him that he would not die in battle, but most likley of the stress caused by trying to know everything that was going on. "Do I have to physically make you get some air?" Dean chuckled, she was always watching out for him. From the moment she took the plunge she did with the ceremony, she'd been the one watching out for him. "I'm pretty much done, but we have a new problem." "Isn't there always a new problem Dean? Can't we for once just enjoy a few days off?" "You knew it was going to be this way, especially when we took the team on. We did that so we'd have some extra hands and be able to take on some extra work remember?" They had argued that point several times when they first kicked around the idea of bringing others into the "life" as they liked to call it. "Yeah, well it seems they're out having lives while you're slaving away in here. Something doesn't seem to right about that Dean? Don't most vampire covens and wolf dens make the lower ranking people do the foot work?" The irony in her statement killed him. "Yeah, I know....I haven't been here all day. I went for a walk with Calil ealier." Dean had feared that statment may upset her. The two had always seemed at odds for some reason, and Calil would always get weird around the mention of her. Dean chalked it up to jealousy or some sort've personal thing, but it was odd. This time she blushed..... "Well good; at least you got out a little. What's this new job we're apparently going to have?" "Well, it's almost time to...eat. Do you mind going and grabbing everyone and having them assemble in the living room? I have one last thing I want to check out and then I'll be down." "Sure Dean, but when we get back from this one I want all your time spent with everybody on the team. If you're ever going to be more then just the 'leader' then you need to get to know everybody better." She turned with that and walked out the door. Dean sat on what she said for a moment, gathered up his things and made his way for the living room. What she said had cut him pretty deap, but it wasn't anything he didn't know. It just hurt that he wasn't the only one who felt that way.

RPG Konoha Chronicles - The Torn Earth [M - V, L]
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
Okaru had broken from the group first and entered the treeline, he'd seen at once where the arrows were coming from and made a V-line for the nearest of them. As he burst through the only clearing allowing sufficient room, the lead bandit turned with an arrow loaded. "Hehe, boy you must think something of yourself to take off like that. To bad all you got is a one way ticket hell." Okaru smiled as he stepped out of the bushes beside the man who was locked in on Okaru with his deadly arrow. "How the hell? I thought they said there was only 4 of umm, this kid makes 5" The man quickly twisted around as he heard one of his partners scream as he came out of his tree top hiding spot, twisting at an odd angle. "What...what the hell is going on here?" Being a simple minded bandit, he hadn't realized yet Okaru's wind clones were causing the distraction. "Screw this, sorry kid looks like you die now." He loosed his arrow at the first Okaru.... Okaru could've sworn he heard him scream as his kick landed squarley on the back of his head. Rendering him unconscious before he hit the ground. His arrow had hit its mark on his first wind clone. "Only two of you to go, and two of me. Why don't you throw your bows down and make this easy?" Okaru listened closley as the two drew back their bowstrings, thinking about how easy the kill was going to be. His hand on his Kunai pouch he listened closer, closing off his other senses. *TWANG* Okaru and his clone were rolling simultaneously, narrowly missing the arrows that cried death as they wizzed by. Coming to a crouch both loosed the kunai they had drewn. Their dance ended with two sickening thuds as both men, dead before they hit the ground, landed in unison. Okaru allowed his chakra to flow, searching for Matsuda and Hotaru. Eager to tell how well his first combat experience went, when suddenly a man strolled out of the forest. His headband marked him as a shinobi, but his movements were somewhat like Ryokotsu's. Smooth, unhindered, uncaring. It was almost like he could care less whether Okaru struck him down or not. "That make you feel powerful boy? You've just killed 3 people today. Boy oh boy you're a big man." Okaru smiled and turned to face his opponent. He was obviously older then sensei, but that didn't always matter. Okaru tried looking him up and down to get a "fix" on him, but so far he couldn't tell whether he should run or stay. The sudden rush of wind startled Okaru from behind. It didn't surprise him that his clone had been destroyed, the shinobi had been most likely watching the battle unfold to get a fix on the types of attacks Okaru would use in combat. What did surprise him is the intensity of the heat the wind brought with it. "A fire ninja eh?" Okaru knew the heat well, his own clan used fire as a secondary element. Only a handfull of clans were able to successfully weild dual elements, that gave the odds of this one knowing much other in Okaru's favor. "I hope you got more then that. It would be embarassing for such an aged shinobi to lose to someone as young as me." The ninja's calm demeanor faltered as he drew his kunai and charged Okaru full steam. "I'll kill you you runt!" "Ryokotsu where are you? I'm not sure if I can do this alone" -
Wow six....well 5 1/2 I guess, Bots are welcome but only get half a part Botar :animesmil. Six is a fantastic number, so I'd like to go ahead and get started. I'm going to send a PM to everyone involved so far to get input about how we should run this thing. Remember, just because it's my idea doesn't mean I "run" the show, it's a club so everything should be decided by the group. How we pick RP's, how long they should be, secret handshakes, etc. (We'll leave the animal sacrifices and the darker stuff to Lunar). The club is open to anybody still, though you can't be involved until you let one of us know that you're interested. Either leave a message here, or PM me. Though doing both would be the better plan. Thanks to all that are participating, and thanks to those who are considering.

Hmm I guess I'd have to try it and see how good it is. In reality pizza is something hard to ruin, so I figure it would turn into something like automobiles. Sure most places are completly automated. So you can get them anywhere, but you really can't beat a beautiful handmade bentley. Just like pizzas, many places now have premade crusts and all the employees do is smooth them out, add toppings, and put in the oven. Which depending on the ingrediants can make a good pizza, but you just can't beat going down to a pizza place that is all handmade. So if you're in a hurry and just want something to eat they'd be fine, but they'll never replace the classics. So I guess knock yourselves out I suppose.

I just realized how jealous I am KG; base commisaries always have the best selection of food, and at the best prices (most of the time.) When I'm in the area I'll run down to Wright Patterson AFB and hit up their commisary. I was going to start a new thread for this, but I would sort've feel like I'd be better off just posting here.... Favorite dishes to make/recipes to prepare them: I'm going to go ahead and list one of my top recipes as Beef Bulgogi: 1lb beef (cut into strips) 4 tbs chili paste (don't use if you don't like a little spice) 4 tbs olive oil 2 tbs sugar 3 tbs seasame seed oil 2 tbs seasame seeds 1 small yellow onion (or 1/2 a typical large one really depends on how well you like onions) Marinate the beef/onions in the mixture for about an hour (no more then 1 1/2 hours or the marinade is all you taste) Save the marinade while you're cooking the beef. Grill the meat/onions for about 15 minutes. When you're just about done pour a nice helping of the marinade onto the meat. Grilling is the typical way to do it, I've found that pan frying is great. It gives you a different texture to your meat. After you marinate dump everything into a pan and heat on medium/low. Let it slowly heat up to a boil and then turn the heat up to simmer. Don't burn up all the sauce, keep a little for flavor. I've been told heating it on high straight to a boil and then simmer is just as good, but I wouldn't reccomend it. Whatever way you do it, serve over white rice (I'm sure you can read the directions on the box.). Though if you can find asian style white rice it works out MUCH better. Edit: If anybody tries this recipe, let me know how you liked it. Either on here or pm, doesn't matter.

OOC: This is going rather well, I hope everyone doesn't mind if we hold off a few more days before breaking into mission mode. We'll plan on moving along on Wednesday or so. Oh and Chibi, please don't ever change. Dean had hoped she would never have called him out on what happened in the infirmary. He rarely lost his cool, and he'd never lost his cool with her. Every move she made during battle was for the good of the team, even what happened at the battlegrounds was much to do with her. "There was no reason...I...I was just worried about you okay? You were a little worse for wear then everybody else." Dean tried to hide his face in his jacket, he could feel the heat from his cheeks and knew he was blushing. "Worried about me? I believe if I wouldn't have done what I did you would've been the one in the infirmary not me." Dean could see how strong she was, more then ever at that moment. She would never accept the truth, but he'd give it to her anyways. "You were pretty out of it, but did you happen to see what happened to my sword during the fight with Malachai?" "Yeah after I shot Malachai, it started glowing but I guess I never really thought about why." She just sort've shrugged it off, again showing Dean the strength he loved about her. "Well, me and Malachai's blades are ancient. His forged in the west, and mine in the east. His blade was forged to destroy, and mine was forged to protect. Though we didn't know it, we were both being played by Holdren." He felt his cheek go from red to white when he thought about how sick that made him. "I guess it's amazing what you find out when you have your nose shoved in a book for 12 hours a day eh?" God bless her, she made him laugh. "Well, there are things I can't seem to figure out. Like how I didn't know any of this until the fight with malachai. All my years with the blade and Sile I couldn't activate it, but for some reason the thought of....." Dean couldnt' finish. He wanted to badly to tell her, but he couldn't find the words. "The thought of what?" For somebody who didn't like to think, she never missed a beat. Dean could feel the fire build back up in his face, it was the moment of truth and he was thinking way to much. "Well, let's just say I found something worth protecting. Which is why I couldn't stand the thought of you lying on the ground." Dean waited for the beratement, there was no way she'd let him live that down. "That's sweet, but you can't try and protect me forever, you know I won't let you." Dean threw his arms around her and embraced her. He wanted so much more, he wanted more, but as in everything with him something held him back. She pulled slightly away and looked into his eyes. He smiled as he brushed her hair out of her face. "That's all I can offer right now Calil. Until I figure this whole thing out, that's all I can give." Her features changed, he was no longer able to read her sweet face. "It's Sile isn't it? You guys have been through a lot together and you can't break her heart huh?" She turned from him and walked/ran back towards the mansion. "Calil! It's not like that." He found himself having to yell she was already so far away. "I...lo...damnit she's gone." He'd blew his chance to tell her how he felt, but in truth it was Sile. Though not in the way Calil assumed. "Stupid man Dean...stupid man..." Dean's hands went into his pocket and he started a lonley walk back towards the mansion. Though he wanted to go apologize, he knew figuring out Holdren was far more important at the moment. At least if he wanted to make sure he had another chance sometime soon.

I liked the first Step up, in fact I went out and Bought it on DvD. The second, however, came out during a time that it seemed that a hundred dance movies came out at the same time. It's sort've the same thing that's happening to the cheerleading movies, air bud, and other movies. It seems that hollyweird gets on a kick and just pumps money into competing for the best movie of a certain genre. I did like step up 2, but if I would've said that at first my point would've been moot.

Ahh possibly the easiest question for me to answer ever on here. Cooking is a passion hands down for me. If I have free time during the day I'll spend hours making dinner. Usually I experiment with recipe's that I know by heart, and adjust things to attempt something new, though noteably I usually forget to write as I go and some things get lost forever. Other times I'll get online and attempt receipes from other countries. In fact I made a nice Boulgogi (think I spelled that right) from Korea, complete with Kem-shi (once again think that's right). Though the Kem-shi was given to me as a favor by a Korean restauranteer's wife who lives nearby me.

Dean wasn't surprised to hear the knock on his door. He was surprised to see Draco standing in the doorway after he invited whoever to enter. "What's up Draco? Everything okay?" Draco sighed and nudged his head at a nearby chair. "Oh, sorry I'm forgetting my maners. Have a seat." Draco smiled as he sat down. Dean was amazed at the sheer size of Draco from the moment he'd met him. 7tf tall was amazing for any werewolf, it was apparent there was more to him. "Dean you've been doing this for awhile right? Researching, fighting, studying all sorts of...inhuman creatures correct?" Dean could almost put together the next string of words before Draco uttered them "have you ever come across anything like me? Anything with a beserk state of being?" Dean sighed, rose from his bed and retrieved a book from one of his many bookshelves and flopped it in Draco's lap. "This text was written 4000 years before Christ. Outside it seems like a simple story, but after examining it further I've found it depicts several instances of Demons crossing over, possessing vampires, werewolves, and the like. Then mating with humans and breeding spawn of their own on this plane." Draco thumbed through the pages as he listened to Dean. "You told us Demons could only use their psychic powers with hosts though, so why would they bother?" Dean tried to fight it, but the fear over how the boy may react to his answer was real. "It seems that in the case of mating, it's not black and white. Somehow the fusion completly ignores all logic and produces a half-demon, halfwhatever spawn with incredible capabilities. In your case...." Before Dean could finish Draco stood up, a look of shock on his face. "Listen, I don't know if you already knew. You suspected, or what but you are a half-demon, half-werewolf. That explains your appearance, your feral or beserker state, everything. But I need you to keep quiet about it Draco...there are things at work that I'm only begining to understand. And all the answers we need will be given once we find and trap holdren." Dean couldn't read Draco at that moment. It was obvious that he would have to think deeply before he reacted, a sign that his feral side came from somewhere else. "Listen, you are still Draco. And between you and me, you aren't the only person carrying Demon blood in this team. You want to know where your beserker state comes from?" Draco shook his head, apparently he'd had to much thrown at him. "You only go beserk when your protecting someone. Just like against Malachai." Draco rose to his feet, turned and began walking out of the room. "What does it matter if I end up killing those I'm trying to help protect?" The door slamed and he was gone. "Damn it Holdren, what the hell are you up too?" Dean pulled another volume off his shelf and dove in. He had a lot to look into, and not very long before the teams next journey.

Worst Food Service Experiences
Drizzt Do'urden replied to chibi-master's topic in General Discussion
I've worked in fast food before, so generally, I am pretty understanding of minor slip ups and the occasional rude dispositions of employees.
I'm with you on that, I think that with most jobs its easy to gain empathy for those minor slip ups, though I will never tolerate a rude employee. That's where my worst experience comes in, though admittingly I didn't help matters. I was at the drive thru of a local Burger King, it was during Lunch hours and they were understandably busy. I overlooked the hurriedness of the speaker boy, and even the rush rush of the girl at the food window telling me my Chicken sandwich wasn't ready, and to pull around (told me to pull around not asked). Then as i sat there with my girlfriend at the time, I was appauled as my bad appeared in the drivers side window and was on my lap before I had a chance to raise my hands, or even to look up at the girl. So now I'm aggetated beyond belief, but I still keep my "Oh i've been there" and "Oh kids these days" mindset. That is until I unwrap my chicken to ensure it's made the way I'd like, and find that it was taken out of the deep fryer at least a whole minute to early. It was very much undercooked, and very much disgusting. And I snapped, I marched my unhappy behind into the crowded restaurant. Pushed past the crowd and proceeded to raise hell. I had both managers and both drive thru employees (one young girl in tears) in the lobby arguing who was in the wrong. It started with an order, ended with a fired manager and free food for a week. (Gotta love the justice system) -
Well I've been thinking on this for awhile, and I think I have a good idea for a fun little "club" here on the OB. What it would consist of would be X number of members, this would be based on however many people would be interested in participating. Basically we'd allow each member to pick a short RP for the club to participate in. I mean SHORT too, something like a month, two at the most, in length. They could range anything form sci-fi, fantasy, to real life. Themes would be limitless, action, drama, comedy anything. Though the official rules and stipulations would have to be decided by the group, the basic outline would be either each member would have an opportunity to choose. Or maybe something a little more diplomatic and each RP would be decided by a vote....as I said though the club itself would be the ones deciding. If anybody would be interested in putting anything like this together, let me know here. After a few weeks we'll see where we stand. Oh and of course participation in every RP would not be required. But occasional participation is a must...

It was over, well at leat for now. Sure Malachai was defeated, but the real threat lie in Holdren. The demon possessed human psychic who was behind turning Dean, and most likely it was him behind the killing of Dunan's friend. What did Holdren want with them, why did it come to Dean and Dunan together vs. Malachai? It had to be more then mere coincidence. ---------------------------------------------- "Dean....how exactally are we supposed to get out of here?" Karyn and Draco had finally finished their huffing and puffing, "I sort've think the whole town being dead is going to make it hard!?" "Relax Karyn, we just needed to walk far enough away from the debris and dead bodies for Sile." Dean nodded at Sile who laid Calil down on the ground, "think you're ready kiddo?" "Like I'd do it without being sure Dean. Though can you stand behind me? This is probably going to be a lot more then I can handle." Sile closed her eye and began chanting softly to herself. Nobody besides Dean had seen this spell, and it was likely nobody had seen anything like this before. A huge glyph appeared below the team as Sile's chanting grew louder. It glowed a brilliant white color that slowly grew to a point where it was almost blinding. Dean watched as Sile slowly reached up and grabed at her eye patch. Lifting it as her chants turned to cries, everything turned white. Seconds later Dean looked around at the basement of the mansion. "Sile that was amazing!" Dawner, the resident Arcane expert was the obvious to like that, "what sort've chant was that. I've never noticed a language like that." Sile just starred forward until, as she predicted, she collapsed into Dean's arms. Dean slowly lowered her to the ground next to Calil, she was out cold. "Shall I send for some medics sir?" Stephen was waiting for them in the basement, he'd probably been there for most of the duration of their trip. "Yes, we'll need three beds for these guys. Dunan and Calil will need the most attention, but they heal fast. Sile just needs to rest." Dean looked at the rest of his team. He'd talk to them in time, but right now it was time to rest. They'd accomplished mission number 1, and that was all that matters. "I'll have everybody report for duty so the kitchen will be at your disposal. The water tower will be lighted so we can all get a hot bath or shower. Good job guys, debriefings can wait until tomorrow. Our healers are top notch, so if you guys need anything looked at I suggest you take advantage of it." Dean waited till the medics arrived, and escorted his downed teamates to the infirmary. He stood beside Calil till she came around. "Dean? What happened?" He put a finger to her lips, smiled, and yelled "Don't you EVER do something like that again Calil. You....you could've been killed easily." Without another word he turned away, tears welling up. Dean retired to his room for a hot bath, and a second to think on some things. OOC: Malachai is officially defeated, and we're back home. I left a message on the backstage for anybody who wants to check it out. Nothing major, just basically says good job and the like. It also says it's interaction time. Take this opportunity to sleep up, mingle with other characters, make alliances and vote somebody off of the is....wait wrong show. Seriously though, let's get to know each other because the next mission is coming soon. Discuss Band of the Blood Moon (Backstage)
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Drizzt Do'urden's topic in Theater
Great first mission everybody. Just as I hoped it would be, it was intense but we left plenty for the coming up missions. Now it's time to see how our characters do together. Make sure we mingle, our break most likely won't be long so take care to get with the others and let everyone see your character and their personalities. As far as the clash we had earlier, I hope it didn't discouage anybody. If anybody isn't enjoying the RP because of that or any other reason please let me know. I'd like every mission to go as smoothly as the first, though the others are going to be longer hopefully.... -

Writing The Otaku Prose Contest Round 2 (Vicky VS. DeLarge)
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Mykul's topic in Creative Works
Wow, good job both of you. Delarge, you were the underdog(in my eyes) in this and came out swinging. Your story really made me feel gross, and sort've sorrowfull. Vicky, I had you figured to win this one and I was not dissapointed. Your story both disturbed and sickened me. In this contest, which is the closest I've voted on thus far, I'm going to throw my lot in for Vicky on this one. But again, nicely done both of you. -
Ty woke up from the dream, a sweaty mess. He wasn't sure why, but he always felt ancy after his dream. Always had to be moving. "I wonder if Night is still up?" Ty made his way upstairs, to find Thea sitting crosslegged on the floor. Ty smiled as he saw her there, if there was anyone in this world more devoted to Night then he it was Thea. Ty gave her a slight kick to wake her. "What is it Ty?" As anyone would be, she wasn't real happy about being woken. Ty, not waiting on an ivitation that never would have came, slid down beside her. "You've been with Night for a long time. If you don't mind me asking, why do you work so hard for him?" "Why do you?" Ty expected as much, Thea wasn't open with anybody. "Well, I have my reasons. Mostly, though, because he's been like a father to me. I guess that's why I came to talk to him now....though I don't even know what to talk to him about. You ever felt like that? Just don't know what to say to him?" Ty didn't know what he was doing....inside he thought maybe he looked at Thea and Night as almost a father and mother. They were definitealy the wisest people he knew, and were really the only family he had left. Though there was no way he'd EVER let them know that.

Dean had hoped his team could finish off Malachai themselves, but it seemed all they managed to do was wound him. He looked to the ground at Calil, who seemed to be moving in and out of consciousness. He knelt beside her, lifted up her head and whispered something into her ear. "I need you to stay with us Calil. I need to you be here and give me strength...." Dean raised his Katana and pointed at Malachai, who was preparing another psychic blast. "Dunan!" He cried at the top of his lungs. "Step back; you've done more then enough for now. Let me finish this jackass off." Dean rushed Malachai full go. He came in high with a sweeping blow that was deflected easily by Malachai's much larger blade. Dean quickly spun back slaming his sword against Malachai's again, harder, faster his blows came. "You're going to tire quickly at this pace Dean. Allow me to make it quicker!" Malachai caught dean offguard with a kick to the ribs, another kick to the midsection sent Dean down to a knee. "Too easy" The big vampire exclaimed as he brought his sword above his head... Dead didn't hear the shot until the spot on Malachai's forhead appeared. Then the resounding bang caused Dean to look over his shoulder at Calil, who was lying on her side. Her smoking gun was evidence of the shot. Dean rose to his feet, and ramed his blade deap into Malachai's chest and ripped down. Splitting him all the way to the hole Karyn was playing in. Malachai steped back, but was far from beaten. "The difference in us Malachai, is I wasn't turned to destroy. I was turned to protect. Holdren had us turned for this exact moment. Unfortunetly you alone aren't enough to destroy us 'morons'. You've lost, now DIE!" Dean made a move, but Malachai was still the faster. He brought his blade down in a hard slash, Dean's only hope was to deflect in time. As the two blades neared, Dean's thoughts turned to Calil, and the others, and what would happen if he failed....failed to protect them. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed for the first time, his blade glowed. In writing similar to the etchings on Malachai's blade, the word "Guardian" shown in white hot letters. As the two blades met, Dean's eyes grew as big as melons when his blade sliced through Malachai's as though it was nothing. Dean smiled as Malachai looked upon him in horror. "I told you that you've lost." Dean rose back to his feet, just in time to be slammed by a psychic blast, landing him face down just a few feet from Calil. Dean could here Malachai bearing down on him, he just hoped somebody would catch him in time. OOC: Okay Malachai's morale is broken, his blade is broken, all that's left is for him to be broken. I'm going to pm the person(s) to finish the job now. If I don't pm you, sit tight. This story is far from over (though this particular part may be).

I really can't say that I care what they're doing. But the simple fact that they HAD a child means they most likely against abortion. Not to start that debate up because I'm not saying I am or am not against it, but if you don't agree with abortions and you're in a sexual relationship with a blood relative, then you need to be fixed....in the sexual way not in the head way. Just my two cents.....

As if from nowhere Dunan was sent flying by a blast of psychic energy. As he rose to his feet it was clear who it had come from. Malachai stood, eyes closed as the ground swirled around him. He was ripe with psychic energy, his power seemed to emit from nowhere, but yet was everywhere. "I also do not take lightly to people attacking my friends boy!" The comment was directed at Dunan, who was on his feet and with the rest of the group. "That wasn't very nice, here I was going to allow Dean the pleasure of ending your life. But I believe I'm going to be doing just that now." Dunan suddenly shot off like a bat out of hell towards Malachai. "Dunan stop!" Dean tried to call out, but it was too late. The vampire was already fully commited. Malachai shot blast after blast, but Dunan managed to dodge each. Dean was almost impressed as Dunan lept into the air, vaulting over a final burst and came down ontop of Malachai. Dean watched in horror as Malachai's fist appeared in the hole the electrical blast put in Dunan's chest. He gasped as Dunan was lifted into the air and tossed like a ragdoll into the remains of a still smoldering building. "Dunan!" Dawner called out, running to the aid of his teamate. "Dean....I'm dissapointed. Holdren had high hopes for you, he'll be heartbroken when I tell him how easily I dispatched you and your band of morons." malachai smiled as he said this and drew his blade. The word Destoryer was etched on the sides. It wasn't too hard to discern why since the blade was as long as a man, and equally as large. "Shut up we're not morons....moron." Karyn yelled back, standing tall. Dean smiled as he thought about how strong his team had become during their time together. Even Dunan, who tried way to hard to be the baddass of the group. They would overcome this obstacle as they had overcome several others, though admitingly this was their toughest challenge to date.... OOC: Okay really wasn't much of a summary, but it's time to square off against the big guy. I'm really not worried about a posting order or anything like that for this, but I don't want anybody killing him or any other surprises for now. It's just us against Malachai. I already have who's going to kill Malachai, but I'm keeping it on lockdown. Hopefully we can finish this up through the week, but if not it's okay.
You mean a thousand pounds of family can't live on twenty-two thousand pounds of money? Lol.
Single best statement I've heard all week.....absolutely fantastic. I can't speak for England, but this song and dance has been so played out in the States its ridonkulous. Well though I'm not totally sure how it works, I assume the program is like the states and unless on disability the daughter wouldn't receive welfare. So maybe she should just give in to the lives her glutton parents have set for her.

Writing The Otaku Prose Contest Round 2 (Anomaly VS. Shy)
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Mykul's topic in Creative Works
After reading both I'm going to have to go with Shy. It really was the one, between the two, that "lifted my spirits". Not to take anything away from Anomaly, which was probably the more original of the two, but as far as the challenge goes. Shy's was the one that really hit the mark with the competition. Great work both of you two, but my vote goes to Shy. -
I'm not going to follow the format, *Bad Bad Drizzt*, I just figured I can answer the question in a paragraph (feel free to comment on THAT!) I'll comment on any piece if I have the time, unless somebody has already beat me to the punch. It pains me to see that most people won't comment on "lackluster" pieces, which I suppose comes from the pieces I've posted that nobody, or maybe 1 or 2 people, have given me their insight. Even if a piece isn't that interesting, the author deserves to hear about what he/she could do it bring others in. If a piece is just awful it's just the same, though of course I'd never tell somebody that because somebodies work is somebodies work and even if it's something they just jot down it's a piece of them. So basically I'll comment on anything and everything unless somebody has said what I already was going to say. Or I suppose if I throw out advice a couple times and it seems to be ignored.
