You know what I hate? I hate it when boys are all "omg wtf, I like you" & you're all "omg wtf, I like you, too" & they're all cute & sweet & kiss you on the forehead & tell you they're happy you visited & all that jazz & then within the next three days barely talk to you at all & make horrible conversation when they DO talk. Grrr. I don't even know what I'm angry about anymore. I hate boys.
Just so you know I would avoid any boy...or girl for that matter that actually says OMG or WTF. Oh and as a side note..."SUCK IT SIN!"

You silly creatures with your "machines" and your trickery. You don't realize that Wolf-packs are among the strongest societies in the world. All your cunning and technology only breeds more conflict. It is truley the animalistic nature in all of us that holds us together, the "pride" of the pack. I do say that when this is over you will see myself and my fellow Baal descendents standing together dripping the blood of you pitiful creatures...its sad really.
ALso, Rachmaninoff, you beat CHW to the explanations, so you get a fortune cookie.:catgirl:
Take that cookie back and give it to google since it is the one doing all the work. Though I am interested in an CHW explination on this.

I'd like to comment on the catholic vs. christian thingy. Catholics ARE in fact christian, the reason they choose to classify themselves as Catholic publicly is because there is such a large group of Protestants out there. While methodists, presbyterians, lutherins etc can get along with one another, Catholics TYPICALLY (please note I use the word typically there because I don't want people to cry about how I'm judging a whole group) don't condone other forms of christianity. It's TYPICALLY (See how I did it again) if you aren't catholic get the **** out. Now to the subject at hand, I don't particularly see anything wrong with this. Now I find it an odd constitutional right to celebrate, but who am I to judge. I do think a more "hey look at what we're doing" approach at celebrating your rights is everybody wearing tank tops and showing off their bare arms.

Dawner softly and slowly began mouthing a chant, Dean couldn't help worry that this would be to much of a move for the weakened Dawner, but he held faith he wouldn't have attempted it if he wasn't ready. His fear was compounded as he looked to a wound Calil had on her arm that was oozing a substance different from her blood. It's smell was sickening, stinging even. At once Dean knew...or thought he knew. As the light swirled around him, the next thing he knew they stood outside the mansion. The rain falling around them. Everybody turned to Dean at that moment, nobody had really spoken since Holdren was defeated. It was as if the adreniline still hadn't worn off, or his horrifying transformation instilled so much fear that they were all thinking about how many demons escaped hell as they tried to send just one back. "I have to get Calil to the medics fast, I think the poison from the cloud that surrounded the gate managed to seep into her. It did something to her blood." Dean looked to his team. As a leader he couldn't ask for anything more, they had cunning, strength, and above all they had loyalty to each other. "I can smell it on her. Her blood seems to be pure poison, I...I'm not sure how she's surviving" Dunan, who was holding tightly to a much more weakened Dawner, confirmed what Dean already knew. At that moment, Dean's legs finally gave out. The many cuts, scrapes, bruises and blows he sustained all seemed to hit him at once. From nowhere Draco and Anya moved in unison to his side, Anya grabbing Calil and Draco hoisting Dean up. "Let's get them both to the infirmary at once." Laying on the table next to Calil, Dean's thoughts swirled around what to do next...Should they hunt the demons? They'd lost one to this manipulitive being...Dean's thoughts finally overloaded his brain until he was asleep. "Dean, Dean" A familiar voice woke him from a sleep filled with visions of a dying Sile who Dean was thankfull was at least at peace now. The voice was Samuel's, one of the many staffed healers. Dean at once regreted opening his eyes as the look on the man's face was as disheartening of one as he'd ever seen. "Dean, I'm afraid master Dunan was correct in his assumption of Lady Calil. The poison has reacted with her blood in a way that I've never seen. It's now turned her cocktail of poisons into an incredibly potent one that seems to coat her skin. It's enhanced so much about her, but unfortunetly...and this is hard for me to say to YOU...nobody can even touch her bare flesh without succumbing to it. Now I can reverse it, though in doing so she will lose many of her new strengths..." Dean at once wanted to plead Samuel to change her, change her back to the old Calil. But he knew it wasn't his place to do so, it wasn't just his decision. He decided to call the team together...including Calil, and allow everyone to decide what would be best. Though he feared he knew what would come of it...
we will still show mercy and keep you alive. Test subjects will always be needed, after all.
I'm afraid that will turn to be your downfall my mechanically minded friend. When it all comes down to it, we're all animalistic at heart. Therefore it is inevitable for all to fall to Baal.

Creamatoria It's been years since Riddick's amazing escape from the triple-max facility known as Crematoria. The prison has since reopened and has also become the universe's first quad-max facility. There have been several changes that have been made to the facility, the only one that has leaked out is the increased depth. Instead of being 15 miles below the surface, the holding cells have been moved a full 5 miles deaper into the surface. You are now a prisoner who's brought to Crematoria, a home for the worst of the worst. The guards are on edge as of recentally due to the rumors of increased activity in the necromonger community. The rumors say that slowly, every planet from one end of the solar system before Crematoria has been destroyed by a mysterious force. There has been whispers that there is only one planet between Crematoria and the suspected planet killers, and the guards have made it clear they will cut and run at the first sign of trouble; leaving all those left inside the prison to die. 700 degrees in the sun -300 degees on the dark side, 20 miles below the surface, and only one tunnel out. There is a rope attached to the hatch of the entrance, but the 500 foot climb is littered with auto-turrets and cameras. Okay sign-up time: Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Bio: Give a detailed description of your crimes, if you commited any, use this to give us some insight to yoru personality. Everybody that joins is going to be "fresh meat" besides my character, so your first post in the thread will be your arrival into the prison. I'm out of time today, so I'm going to post my character tomorrow night when I get on.

Well I was never a HUGE fan myself, but I did share that same feeling of Nostalgia you spoke of. Frankly from the trailer/gallery I must say it seems like it will be a good watch, though I've said that before.

Derrick glanced around at Wolfie's new "crew", what a bunch they all made. Apparently the ones named Cross and Furry were already making a great team, the girl seemed rather standoffish herself. Derrick doubted she'd be apt to introduce herself so he decided to take the route himself. Approaching her he held his hand out clearing his throat, "The name's Derrick." He shot her a smile that wasn't returned. "Shiva" was all he got. Returning to his seat he glanced at Wolfie who was piloting the craft expertly. "So I take it you already have a bounty or two ready, and judging by the way you're gathering pros up we you must be taking only top level 5 bounties eh?" Smiling Wolfie turned to Derrick, and without nodding or insinuating anything he simply replied "I'll explain everything once we all get on the ship and begin getting acquainted." "Damn AI, impossible to read their facial expressions when they can control them so easily" Derrick thought to himself as he once again starred in awe at the giant ship they were approaching.

As the gate slowly opened, time itself seemed to freeze. The enormous rocks of stonehenge flew into the air, forming a large archway. Dean, Dawner, and even Holdren himself watched in sheer amazement as the tiny spark in the middle exploded into an inferno...hell itself. "Is...Is that what I think it is?" Dawner stuttered. "Sure is Dawnie...We're now looking straight into hell." Dean's words were choked back as the temperature rose to an alarming height. "I suppose I should thank you mortal fools." Holdren's voice cackled in a sick laugh as he turned. "Lord Master Satan! Rise, your servent bids..." Holdren stopped as puffs of smoke, demons in their lesser form, shot out of hell into the distance. He gasped outloud as half a dozen began swarming him and attempting to pull him towards the gate. "No...No you envious bastards, I'm the one who will bask in the master's glory." All of a sudden, a mighty force began pulling everything in sight towards the gate. Dawner grasped Dean in an attempt to keep his footing..."what...what's happening Dean?" Dawner had one foot literally off the ground as Dean struggled for footing, praying the others were at a safe distance. "The other demons are trying to pull Holdren back, to keep him from gaining Satan's favor..." Dean watched the struggle, it seemed the demons were slowly winning. That's when he heard Sile's voice... "Dean...Dean it's not enough. The dark lord is making his way up the chasm...oh my god I can feel him coming Dean. Holdren has to go NOW!" Dean turned to look at the rest of the group, it seemed they were all either out of range of the pulling force, or latched on to something. That is besides him and Dawner. Dean grabbed Dawner tight, "Remember when I said to trust me?" Dawner nodded, the force grew stronger now the vampire boy had two legs in the air. "Now I'm asking you to forgive me." With a grunt Dean threw all his weight into reversing Dawner's momentum and thurst his sword through the boys shoulder into the dirt pinning him to thr ground. Turning Dean launched himself towards Holdren at full-blast. The resounding force, gave just enough push to shove Holdren...and Dean into the gaping gate. As Dean turned down the burning corridor he could actually see straight into hell. He saw the millions of souls reaching up towards the opened gate, he could see Holdren being carried by much bigger and most likely stronger demons, lastly he could see a giant red cloud making its way towards the gate...it was him. As a large arm reached out of the cloud towards him, Dean felt something grab his collar. Looking up he saw Sile, latched onto the side of the chasm. "Let's get the hell out of here!" She cried as Dean grabbed the ledge below her, together the two crawled out ripping out chunks of dirt, struggling to get out. A mighty roar could be heard inside the gate as they exited. "It's too late." Dean cried out, as the gate slammed shut. The stones returning to their positions.... Sitting up, Dean looked around baffeled. That's when he saw Karyn twirling the dagger in her hands smiling. "You always think it's going to be one of the show-offs that save the day." The simple comment made Dean smile, that is until the thought about Sile. "Where...where'd Sile go?" "What do you mean Dean? Sile's been dead for awhile now?" Karyn seemed puzzled. A throat clear from on top of one of the stones drew their attention, standing atop Sile was smiling down on the group. "Can't even rest in piece, I'm always saving your guys asses." With a chuckle she faded away...finally at peace. OOC: Not quite ready to call it quits again. It's time to head back to the mansion, I'm thinking maybe our resident suped up psychic could possibly give us a ride cough cough Dawner?

I wanted to ask tha same question as Afro, I was thinking that I would allow him to maintain a more human look. Thinking along the lines of Sabre Tooth from the X-men cartoon, animalistic but with the right clothes could pass as human. You said keep the powers limited to mammals, so is my "tree sap" type blood going to fly? If not let me know so I can adjust whatever need be. By and by I do really like this idea Vicky, there's something about a group of ditestfull beings running rampat and growing steadily more and more disgustingly terrifying that just makes me shiver.

Name: Koda Creedmore Age: 23 Sex: Male Nationality: American Clan: Baal Personality: Koda's loyalty has won him recognition and praise from the military. Unfortunetly his viciousness and brutality are what kept Delta Force from keeping him around. Koda has become a loner outside of the military, choosing solitude over friendship. Appearance: Koda in Berserk mode Powers: As of right now, the only two powers Koda has been able to develop is his incredible strength and animalistic agility. He has been known to enter a "beserk" state in which he loses all track of himself, though he has no means to control it. As he develops his animalistic qualities will become more evident. Such as fingernails that will act as retractable claws, tree sap like blood that will help keep him from bleeding out. Background: Once a warrior always a warrior. Baal's influences ran deap in Koda even at a young age. He was always fighting even as a young child, at age 8 he put a boy 4 years older then him in the hospital. As puberty set in, his brutality was enhanced when he developed a seemingly superhuman strength. He was barred from all sports due to his overly agressive nature, even the local boxing team wanted nothing to do with him. Once he graduated Koda did the only thing that was right for him, joining the military. After going through boot camp as if it was nothing, he was picked up by Lt. Colonel Brent Tragger, one of Delta Force's top officials. Tragger taught him to harnass his rage...to an extent. After being dropped into Iraq, Koda earned a purple heart, and a medal of honor after single handidly rescuing a captured journalist. He also won the recognition, and fear of his comrades. With a confirmed kill ratio higher then his whole batallion he was given many nicknames behind his back, "Reaper" and "Beastman" were two of his favorites. After two years, the military refused to let him reinlist after a scandal involving him supposedly killing 4 of his squadmates in battle because they attempted to restrain him, the accusations proved unfounded and Koda wasn't court martialed, but the refusal of his reinlistment tore him apart. Around the time he turned 21 koda found a home that he could be happy in. Somewhere in Southern Montana, he found a weekly pride fighting tournament. He currently is 100-0 bringing in challengers from all across the globe. Knowing he's "different' Koda has been attempting to harnass his anamilistic abilities, beliving them to be a lot deaper then he could ever imagine...

I'm really not one that's bothered by the heat, but I always find myself stocking up on country time. Really I don't change my eating habits (besides cooking out, but that doesn't exactally fit here). hehe I do hit the neighbor hood ice cream man up when he rolls by once a day (could be why I never seem to lose the winter weight I put on).

RPG Konoha Chronicles - The Torn Earth [M - V, L]
Drizzt Do'urden replied to Adas's topic in Theater
Okaru stood outside the tarp, his head facing the black sky, enjoying the feel of the rain on his face. Looking back under the tarp, it appeared Ryokotsu was already fast asleep, though Okaru was sure that if a threat came from anywhere he'd up be and engaging before the others knew there were a problem. He looked to Hotaru who, feeling his eyes, woke up startled. "What are you still doing up Okaru...and why are you in the rain?" She asked, "I'm just having a bit trouble sleeping, you know the excitment over the day and the like. I'll head to bed shortly." "Be sure you do, you don't want to look a mess when we deliver the news of our find to lady Tsunade." Without another word Hotaru turned over and was again fast asleep. Okaru waited a moment to see if she stirred and made his was to Matsuda who was doing a horrible job of pretending to be asleep. "I understand how you are feeling all to well Matsuda, and believe me it's natrual. Let me just tell you what my father told me...during one of his rare slips into a real father instead of the thing i grew up with." Okaru paused to listen to Matsuda's breath, to ensure he was still awake. "He told me "Don't even think about getting under the tarp tonight son. You need to be out in this beautiful weather...you'll learn one day that the rain is a beautiful thing. The rain washes the blood away" he told me that right after he made me run a knife through a man's chest." Okaru paused, he started to feel a little sick thinking about the events of that day... "A rival chuunin broke into our clan house...my father caught him and beat him to a pulp. He threw the man, rather a boy really, into our families sparing circle and made me watch him beat him into oblivioun. Then when the poor guy couldn't move he made me come down. He shoved a dagger in my hand and, grabbing my hands, forced the blade into the man's heart...so believe me when I say I know exactally how you feel." Okaru was choking up, the thought of today's events coupled with the dreaded day 7 years ago he sat against a tree in the rain, starring up at the sky, until he drifted off into a deap sleep. -
The sensless destruction...when Calil had been hit Dean literally froze. Unable to move he watched in horror as Draco was struck before reaching Calil... It was happening...there was no way they could stop this mammoth. That's when something unexpected happened, a familiar voice in a very unfamiliar tone sounded from behind him. "Dean, why are you stopping?" Spinning around Dean's jaw hit the floor at the sight of Sile standing there...or rather Sile's spirit. "Sile!? Wait...how...how are you here?" Dean could feel tears welling up at the sight of his fallen friend. "Holdren has many enemies in hell, none of which want to see the gate be opened. They don't want to lose favor in Satan's eyes, you have to stop him Dean. I only have another moment or so before I'll have to return." Dean reached a hand out to Sile, only to have it pass through. A bone chilling freeze passed through his hand, causing him to shiver uncontrollably. "Stop that, and pick your ass up. You have too much to live for Dean. Go do it, for your team." Sile slowly faded out of sight... Dean stood drawing his blade, as he started to run his foot struck something. Somehow the dagger had been knocked to his position, picking it up Dean eyed the gate. With Draco out of the fight and tending to Calil, Karyn being an unknown, that left 4 of them against the behemoth...unless they got some help. Grabbing the ankh Dean hurridly sent a message to Dawner. "Dawner, get your ass over here. I have a job for you. Get Dunan and Anya to distract Holdren for just a minute." Dean ducked behind a rock, awaiting Dawner.
lol... *sniff* *sniff* do i smell a Sequel ?? -
I used to be anal about my car. Never letting anybody eat in it, drink in it, get in it with mudy shoes. I made the sad...sad mistake of allowing my mom to use my car while I was away for basic training and tech school...looking back at her cars I should've known better.. I got back from training to find my car knee deep in every type of fast food wrapper available. Half-full cups of pop (soda for most of you) laying on their sides dripping every so slowly. And the icing on the cake, cherry on top, almost cried myself to sleep for the next month thing was the battery that she had replaced. Sitting on the floor behind the drivers seat, knowing what was to be even before moving it I did and looked anyways. There was literally no apholstery left and you could see where it was eating away at the flooring... That was 4 or 5 years ago, I still have the car but I'm not nearly as anal. I don't let trash sit in there but school books, or other papers from school will accumulate. Or depending on what we have going on for drill I'll have my chem gear and other equipment... Still...so sad

Until last night I'd only seen the one preview they show over and over again, each time it left me wondering "Is this going to be worth it?" Last night when I went to see Wolverine they played the trailer that showed bits from everypart of the movie and I'm jacked up for this now. It seems like there is going to be more good combat then the predecessor. Either way I enjoyed the first one and the second will most likely be even better.
-
I finally had the opportunity to take this movie in and I must say I wasn't dissapointed. With all the dissapiontment I heard from friends I thought for sure this was going to be a half-assed attempt to ressurect Wolverine's good name. After the first few minutes though I quickly realized that this wasn't the case, in order to shy away from needing spoilers and reveiling anything I can tell you that, though he's still pg-13 wolverine, they're dangerously close to bringing back the REAL wolverine. Though as Dragon said there are a few liberties and character traits left out. I still found it to be an excellent watch...
I suppose I could try to be in a RPG, but then again, majority of them nowdays are dealing with some type of holy war.
So you're saying that they're too close to real life?

Derrick marveled at the worksmanship of the Mako 10 as the two traveled towards the planet. "My my, this is quite impressive Wolfie...I say I can't find a single flaw in it." "You're searching for flaws in my ship?" Wolfie asked, a bit of suspicion in his voice. "Oh relax, I hope you don't think I'm considering turning you in. It's just a bad habit of mine, trying to find the small imperfections that even computers miss and improving on them...or using them to take down bounties." Derrick continued his inspection. "Sir, there is a problem with Cross and Fury. It appears they're engaged with some other hunters on the surface." Lafiels' tiny image appeared in front of Wolfie. "Let's see what's going on" Wolfie seemed aggetated by the delay, his efficiency was a trait Derrick already respected in the man. The image on screen changed from the approaching surface of Falerious to a scene straight out of one of those ancient human westerns Derrick had seen while doing some studying on the ancient cultures of the main races in the known universe. There were two men, apparently the two they were to meet, running towards some cover as a third man set a rocket screaming towards them. Luckily his aim didn't seem very good as it missed wide left, striking a nearby building and sending it half tumbling to the ground. "Better hurry Wolfie, it seems like the whole towns after them now." Derrick pointed to the group of locals equiped with weapons tailing after the two.

(Alright back in action!) Okaru and Hotaru looked at each other with worried eyes. They heard the death screams meaning the battle was over before they'd even a chance to follow Matsuda into the bush. Rushing forward with their Kunai still drawn, they feard the worse for their friend. "There was no way that scream came from Matsuda...no it couldn't be" Okaru thought to himself as they erupted into the small patch of forest where a body lay on the ground, blood still oozing from the wound. Okaru sheethed his Kunai and began rushing to Matsuda to check and see if he was okay, he was halted by Hotaru who held him back. "Look at him Okaru...something's wrong." Okaru then looked at Matsuda's face, really looked at it. The look on the boy's face was that of triumph and misery, though he vanquished his foe he seemed...distraught. Okaru shook Hotaru off and ran to Matsuda, who had dropped his blade to the ground. "Matsuda...Matsuda are you okay?" Okaru put his hand on the boys shoulder but didn't get much of a respone except a faint whisper, "I...I didn't even know his name..." Okaru waved to Hotaru to come help him. "Matsuda...Matsuda hey snap out of it. You did it, you got him." Nothing, it seemed like he was in a sort've daze. A rustle in the bushes drew Okaru's attention, it was Ryokotsu Sensei arriving on the scene. "What happened here? You guys defeated him already?" an obviously surprised sensei asked. "No sensei, Matsuda did it by himself." Hotaru did well in hiding any surprise in her voice, apparently Ryokotsu sensed the boys distress and changed his tone immediatealy barking orders. "I've checked the area and it seems like we've gotten them. Though we need to locate the stolen supplies still, form up and follow me. Matsuda do you understand?" Without waiting for a reaction Ryokotsu took up the point position and began leaping into the trees, his students behind him. Okaru glanced at Hotaru, Matsuda had taken up the rear and nobody questioned him. "Can you believe Matsuda knocked that guy off by himself? I just can't believe he did it that fast, that guy had to be a chuunin, or at least an experienced Genin, man." Okaru was proud of Matsuda's strength, though he thought he felt a darker aura around Matsuda. Apparently Hotaru was worried as well, she kept shooting him glances as they ran, one time almost losing her footing on a branch. "I just hope he's okay Okaru, he hasn't said anything since it happened." Hotaru muttered "I'm sure he's fine...but we'll keep an eye on him." Okaru assured her as he began wondering how strong Matsuda really had gotten... -
I'm torn, I've grown up around older cars and just envied my dads 67 Chevelle SS, so classics are normally my thing. A gun metal grey 67 Shelby would be a dream come true for me.
Maybe you should try being a bit grateful instead of finding things to complain about. It's really discouraging that you judge them by their appearance anyway.
We're all guilty of that from time to time, though if we're lucky we grow out of it or we make it a one time mistake. I'll admit I've been quick to judge when it wasn't, and when I was younger I probably did it more then I remember. But as a dissapointingly small number of people do I grew out of it, and realized how I was acting. I'm just glad it happened before I got to high school.
