Neat story. Sounds like it should have a title like 'God's Wrath' or 'Angelic Doom'. That's only what I've got. My story, Fallen Angel, is sorta like that. Except the name doesn't refer to the main character. In fact, the main character doesn't even have a name, he's just called 'he' and 'him' and 'his' because he lost his identity when he died. Fallen Angel is the name of his sword. Every time it kills a new type of demon, it aquires new powers and forms, like the second level, Blood Angel. In this form, the hilt is crimson, his armor is black, and his wings are made of blood! This enables him to do things like create a swirling bloody tornado around his body. Sorry for getting off topic. It is a very good Heaven versus Earth story. Let me just put in a guess, there's gonna be some human who turns the angel good? I like it, and will be willing to read more about it. Here's an idea though, don't describe God. NEVER do that in a story. Only the Bible can. And it kinda ruins people's positive view of Him. I hope this helps and not hurts!

RPG Rurouni Kenshin:The Rebirth Of Juppon Gatana [M - VLS]

Noi was confused. Apparently Tsubaki and Suteneko knew each other. But that wasn't too important now. The girl who had identified herself as Rubi, had told them about her long and difficult adventure. How she had gone without water. Kenji smiled. "Well you're alright now. So, you were searching for the Juppon Gatana too." Rubi nodded. Noi stepped outside. He wasn't very good at comforting people about difficult situations. As he sat down on the building's steps, he pulled a small puzzle box out of his pocket. He had been working at it for about two years. He steadily moved the pieces into different orders, each of them with a different picture of a weapon. That was the hard part of the puzzle. Figuring out what order the pieces went in. He heard Suteneko laugh inside and smiled. It was good to be around people again. No one else had been able to comfort them. But these other kids, all of them older than him, made him feel more comfortable. The wolf Notu lay down silently beside him, watching curiously as Noi handled the puzzle. That night, Noi had nightmares about his grandparents' mysterious killer. He awoke sweating and was only lulled slowly back to sleep at the thought of Sani, the girl from his village, so long ago . . . -
Iron Knuckles normally look like large suits of armor and are grey. They tend to be very wide but end up looking like a normal armor. They carry around huge axes and have a very powerful but slow swing. There are exceptions to this. In Gannon's Tower, there were a Black Knuckle and a White Knuckle. In Majora's Mask, there was a Golden Knuckle that used a small sword(you never fought it). And in the Iron invasion, you're open to make up special versions of Iron Knuckles. Here's one: The Dark Knuckle which uses two swords and can cast a Dark Energy spell. Have fun making up you're own enemies and sending them in!

RPG Rurouni Kenshin:The Rebirth Of Juppon Gatana [M - VLS]

Sutenko was the kind of person that Noi had been taught to take orders from. She was very harsh and bossy, exactly the girl that his grandfather wouldn't have questioned. But he knew that the girl they had found earlier needed more attention. She was still unconcious, although she had been given water and food. This was terrible. She could die from this. Tsubaki tended to her while Noi kept a silent eye on Sutenko. He wasn't going to disobey an order, but he wasn't just going to give the girl no attention. She reminded him of how Kenji and Tsubaki had found him, shot in the shoulder with the Sway laying across him. "Well, you don't seem too happy," Sutenko startled him. "Happiness isn't something you can see. But right now I'm more concerned with other things." he replied solemnly. She frowned. No one usually talked back to her, and she wasn't going to take it. About an hour later, she decided to test what that cumbersome weapon of Noi's could really do. As she readied her bos, the girl woke up and caused everyone to turn, unfortunately making her target move away. She sighed and walked over to the girl's side. -
The wicked Mage Knuckle viewed the countryside from his enchanted lens. His plan was working perfectly. King Gannondorf would soon be free. But first, something had to be done. Link had always stood in Gannon's path, shrouding him in an evil space of his creation. But now that Link was removed from the equation, there was little that could stand up to Gannon's power. A huge army of unique Iron Knuckles were steadily marching across the Gerudo desert to mount a siege on Hyrule Castle, and of course Princess Zelda. With his magic behind the unstopable flow of soldiers, Mage Knuckle would surely reopen his master's gate and destroy the evil universe. However, a rival evil was also setting forth in motion its plans to take over Gannon's body. It started by summoning his unknowing minions to save his greatest rival, Link. There's the story. A huge army of Iron Knuckles are trying to take over Hyrule. You're playing to save Link and protect Zelda. With whatever works for you! Up to ten people may join. Here's what a sign up sheet should look like: Name: Anything that sounds good to you. Race: Hylian, Goron, Zora, Gerudo, Kokiri, or Deku. Appearance: What makes your character stand out from the rest of their race. Weapon: Scimitar, fists, something believable for that race. History: How the character gets caught up in the story. Here's my character's sign up sheet for starters. Name: Gouro Race: Goron Appearance: A slightly taller than average goron, has a silver ring and a dirty brown tunic. Weapon: Fists, rolling form History: Gouro was training as a bomb maker when a stray Iron Knuckle invaded Death Mountain. He protected the other unarmed gorons until Biggoron was waken up to squash the creature. Now he seeks the cause of this intrusion. On his way, he plans to visit the all knowing King of Hyrule. Join if your interested. Gamers are a must!

RPG Rurouni Kenshin:The Rebirth Of Juppon Gatana [M - VLS]

There they were. A boy and girl. Why wasn't he dead? His instinct was to ask them questions, but instead he took a look around the room. His shoulder was bandaged, and tightly applied so that it was numb. Then he understood. Noi turned to look at them, who were watching him. "Thank you. You've helped me a great deal." The girl smiled. "Well of course, not everyone's as cruel as whoever did this to you. I'm Tsubaki, who're you?" she said offering a hand to help him up. "Noi." he replied solemnly, accepting her help. After seeing the boy, he knew it had to be Tsubaki who had bandaged him. "May I ask your name?" He also smiled, showing that he had a warm heart. "Kenji Himorua. You're lucky that we found you." Noi startled. "Himorua! As in Kenshin Himorua? Are you his son?" he blurted. Kenji turned slightly away. Tsubaki didn't say anything. And that's when he knew. Kenshin was either not on speaking terms with his own son, not likely, or he was dead. "I see. Well, it seems that you've also suffered a great loss." "What do you mean?" Tsubaki asked suspiciously. "Somebody killed my grandparents." And with that, there was a silent agreement that Noi would come with them the Juppon Gatana. However, Kenji was a little alarmed at Noi's level of loyalty. Not surprising, seeing as how it had only been matched to Yahiko's loyalty to Kenshin . . . -
OOC: Well, another new member. Welcome, and feel free to ask for what little advice I can give. Here's my entry. Name: Tommy Gender: Male Age: 15 Human appearence: About 5' 4'', blonde hair, blue eyes, pale white skin, red t-shirt, and blue jeans. Also has a gold chain necklace. Wolf appearence: Creamy yellow (like a german shepard), and blue brown eyes (changes because he's a wolf now) and of course the same gold chain necklace. Personality: Slightly overgoing and tends to know when people need privacy. Wants to find paradise because he escaped from the House of Lord's twisted experiments and is being hunted. OOC: Why not change the story so that everyone is looking for paradise for a different reason? I had added that as an extra, just a thought from the Kid.

Was this the end? Darkness couldn't be the answer. But then, what was the answer? He had been, alive? So many questions, so few answers. But it wasn't the end. He may not be alive, but he existed. Yes, that was it. Existence. And Lucifer was threatening it. Lucifer! The Devil was his goal! As this realization came to him, a strange dark power flowed through him. Only he could channel it. "Am I an angel?" he asked himself. If he was an angel, then why was he focusing all of this dark power? "Demonic angel," he muttered to no one. Then smiled. As his energy and physical being became one, his form twisted horribly to show his black feathered wings, armor of the bloodiest hue, and his sword. The Fallen Angel. He landed softly about five thousand human miles away from the flaming gates. As the Fallen Angel hummed softly with the demonic energy within it, he smiled. Hell would fall before his onslaught. And the true Holy One would remake it for the good of the world. His powers were just a means. This is the story of an anonymous man who died and became an angel. He was chosen to lead the batle against Hell and was so given the very demonic enrgies that he would battle with his Holy sword, the Fallen Angel. I'll be posting one bit of this story every week. As he walked slowly down the brimstone landscape, twenty axe wielding demons sprang forth to greet him. He smiled and drew the Fallen Angel form its sheath. Five of the demons charged him at once. As the first swung down on him, he blocked, rolled to his right, and stabbed straight through its chest. The creature turned to make another swing and he jumped backwards onto the shoulders of another demon. He plunged the Fallen Angel down its throat and black blood spewed everywhere. As the other demons decided to join the fight, the man also decided that it was time to end the battle. He tapped his inner demonic energy and released a shockwave from his body of pure evil. The demons reeled from the attack and several were blown into a dark smoke. Those that were left tried to escape back to the pits from which they came. "No one escapes justice" he said, and shouted as he raised his hand to steal the life from the pitiful specimens. They fell at this onslaught, and the Fallen Angel was imbued with its new power and his new form, Blood Angel. More on the Blood Angel sword next week. I'm open to comments about the story. Please don't double post. Simply edit your old post with the new information. ^_~ -- Lady Asphyxia Chapter 3 Transform He walked slowly again, carrying the newfound power within the sword. No mortal would have been able to touch the blade and live. But he wasn't alive. Being in Hell, he was constantly attacked by demons. Yet they always died. The man continued walking slowly for nigh on a year killing demons. Then he found a challenge. A great fiery creature leaped out from below him. Caught off guard by the demon's sudden appearence, he had no time to prepare himself. The flame brandished a double blade and twirled it around its head. The man unsheathed Fallen Angel and charged. But the demon attacked first. It plunged the blade deep into the ground and caused a massive explosion of fire to ripple in all directions. He was thrown back, and the creature rushed him. Only his armor saved him from death. This continued for some time, the demon attacking, and the angel unable to fight back. He was panting with a large hole through his leg and remembered the Fallen Angel. He tried to tap into its power. Suddenly, his armor charred and turned black, while his black feathers fell away to show large wings made of blood. The hole in his leg swelled with blood, hardened, then became skin again. The demon stopped his rampage long enough to see what was happening to his opponent. "Big mistake," he said. The fire became fearfull, and shrank as the angel lifted its crimson, dripping wings above him. Before it knew what was happening, one of the wings was shoved down its throat. The man laughed, and ripped the poor demon's spine out of its body through its mouth. The creature landed on its side, eyes wide in shock. Chapter 4: Reaper

Strangest song you've ever gotten stuck in your head
Sir Gawain replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Noosphere
I think my head's more like a jukebox. Sure, I have songs stuck in my head, but my memory's so good that it tries to play them all at once. But the one song I've been trying to remember, 'Freckles' I think, the opening to Rurouni Kenshin, won't come to me! But sometimes I find myself sitting in class and then I'm hearing the Treasure Trove Cove music from Banjo-Kazooie. This can be a positive thing. I think that having a song stuck in your head means that your brain has subconciously connected it with something else in your life. I'm way too smart to be 13! Or not. -
Some gore may be noted. What do you think of an idea about the supernatural creatures from the world's greatest countries each starting a crime syndicate? Seriously, this was meant to be more funny than anything. The main syndicate is Irish and is called 'The Sidhe'. Who couldn't laugh at a crazy leprechaun? Running a mob with a headless corpse?! Please, need feedback, and maybe an artist who thinks the idea's cool. I can't draw worth crap.

I liked the original Sailor Moon series when I was younger, and if you can really make it that much more interesting I'd love to see it. I might even sign up because, as a part time gamer, I have no trouble playing as girls. I've also grown up around them, so I know full well how they act. No offense.

Dragon Heart is a story inside the world of Inuyasha, but doesn't influence it by much. Basically, here's a more in depth look at the storyline for the RPG for those who aren't convinced enough to sign up. Hundreds of years ago, the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac ran rampant upon the world. The greatest of them all was the dragon. However, because of its power, the people rose up against the dragon. In order to save itself, the dragon seperated its eight powers into seperate vassals and hid them on the east island (Japan). We know of these events because they were recorded by Drako, the ancient Chinese prophet. Using his texts and potions, he preserved his sould to take over a suitable body when the dragon's powers were awakened. He was determined to take control of a power strong enough to decimate the universe. But the protectors of the dragon knew of Drako's madness. In order to stop his fury, they called upon the Guardians to the Gates of Hell. They were under the protector's control and were told to summon forth eight new protectors when the dragons awoke. Hopefully, the demons Adoko and Serpenal would keep their bargain. That's about it. The dragons awaken when the Shikon Jewel emits a powerful wave of energy, about some time before Tsubaki is defeated in the Inuyasha series. Anyway, people get to play as the eight new protectors with me acting as the villain Drako and the demon guardians. This is mostly for me to see how other people write a story about my ideas. Mostly because I like to know how people think. Click here to sign up!

RPG Rurouni Kenshin:The Rebirth Of Juppon Gatana [M - VLS]
Sir Gawain replied to naota's topic in Theater
Noi swung hard and missed the man. The policeman jumped back at the force behing the swing. They had both begun to learn not to try to fight him. Noi smiled. This was what he knew how to do, defend himself. As the second policeman tried once again to run behind him, Noi turned the Sway's blade and twirled around in a motion that caught it in the trunk of a nearby tree. He gasped and let go of his weapon to avoid his enemie's sword. He hadn't realized that he had gotten so close to the forest. "Got you now kid!" one of them yelled as he pulled out a gun. Noi didn't have time to run as the bullet penetrated his left shoulder. He fell to the ground cringing in pain. The policeman started speaking to each other, he couldn't hear what, but when they finished they threw the Sway on top of him. He tried to roll over, but the strain was too much. "Here I come Grandpa. I'm sorry that your training didn't save me." As he lost his last shard of conciousnis, he thought he saw three figures running toward him. One of them looked amazingly like what his mother had told him was Kenshin Himoura. What luck was this? He fell asleep as the fgures of Kenji and the gang reached him. They hurridly picked him up and treated his wound, waiting for him to wake. -
My favorite anime songs. Hmm. My top would have to be the song that the character Lackis Clyne sings in Gundam Seed. My next favorite is the Inuyasha song "Every Heart". I also like any song in a foreign language, mostly Japanese or German(long story). Even though I can't understand the words, the way they go along with the music can tell you what the song means, you know? You should listen to German rock translated! It can be hilarious! PS: The whole deal with the signature I have is a story I've written called Fallen Angel. :demon:

My favorite boss battle of any game I've ever heard of (and that's a lot of games) has got to be with Mizar at the end of Jet Force Gemini! It has a totally different way of boss battles than other games of its time, and the total randomness of attacks from Mizar is incredible! Don't get me wrong, I think all other game ending boss battles are cool, its just that for its time, it was the ULTIMATE battle!

In the begining of time, there were the animals of the Chinese zodiac. The king of them all was the dragon. The people feared the dragon, and turned the dark prophet Drako to learn how to kill it. In order to save itself, the dragon split all of its powers into seperate bodies, thus splitting its heart, and scattered them over what is now Japan. Knowing that they would someday awaken, Drako studied scripts of the dragon king and preserved his soul within an ancient beast. The dragon king's heart would be easy to manipulate, unlike the dragon. So it was that two demons learned of his plan. Adoko and Serenal, the bull and serpent guardians of Hell. They bided their time, knowing that if a prophet gained control of the Dragon Heart Gem, he would easily pour into Hell. Over time, they saw the creation of Naraku and the Shikon no Tama. Fearing the danger that Naraky posed, they decided that it was time to summon the captures of the dragon powers. So it has begun. The hunters of the dragons will seek the powers of Lightning, Fire, Poison, Forest, Life, Death, Yin, and Yang. A special guardian has been chosen to counter Drako, the demon Sesshomirou. If he can lead the Dragon Hunters to victory over Drako's spirit creatures, he shall receive the Dragon Heart's full power. You could be the one who captures the dragon . . . Basically, this is about another gem that Inuyasha doesn't know about. You can be one of eight characters who seek out the dragons and to battle Drako, like Draco the dragon constellation, and get the Dragon's heart. The key thing here is that I won't be starring in this story. Instead, I want to see how other people would write my storyy knowing my idea. I'll moderate the story with a few posts showing the villain, and send you private messages if you sign up. Here a the few rules to the story: 1. You can't write about another character before they're introduced. 2. Your sign up sheet will act as your character's profile. Profiles may be changed over time. 3. Only eight people may sign up. Every month, I'll let one more person join as a villain. 4. Follow all other Adventure square rules. Also, don't post here unless you're signing up. Here's what a sign up sheet should look like: Name: Age: Gender: Male Female Demon (demons may be much older) Personality: How your character will act. Put in average mood and pet peeve if you want. Appearance: How you want other people to recognize your character when they see its name. Clothes, eyes, hair. Weapon(s): Up to two Pets: Does your character have servants or a special animal? If so, put its type and name here. If not, leave this blank. Fun Facts: Something interesting about your character. Favorite food: This will help decide who is the main character and will become important later on in the story. Relationships: Since this is an Inuyasha side story, you can make your character have a true love or be a loner. Favorite color: This will tell me which dragon to have you search for. (red, blue, green, purple, gold, silver, white, or black) Intro: Brief description of how your character enters story. Can come from either modern or feudal eras. Remember, the story takes place in the Feudal era, so keep in mind how people act and dress. I hope to see more people joining the story soon! Also, Sesshomirou will be helping you constantly throughout the story. You WILL fight Inuyasha and hopefully come out alive. Just a little hint, since you're basically working for demons, you are kinda the bad guy! Rebellion against Adoko and Serenal will be met with swift joy.

RPG Rurouni Kenshin:The Rebirth Of Juppon Gatana [M - VLS]
Sir Gawain replied to naota's topic in Theater
Noi Yanamori grimaced at the thought of his village. His parents and sister had gotten out alive, but his grandfather had died protecting their escape. Not one to hold a grudge, he decided to instead go by his grandfather's training. "To battle in anger is to approach death blindly." he could remember his grandfather's voice. "Only kill if that person has killed. A life for a life. Equality is the key to fighting." Noi slowly stood up. Equality would be his reason. He brought the Sway, his grandfather's feared pole arm axe, to bear in both of his hands. "The Sway was known to meet in large battles. But now the fools who did this shall know it from their dreams." He walked quietly into the forest, wishing that his grandfather was still there to guide him. He had once heard of a legendary samurai. Kenshin Himoura, Bitosi the Manslayer. He was seen recently and had been repenting. But perhaps he could help Noi to train for battle. "I will seek the fabled manslayer who saved my mother." Noi said. And with that, he began a mad dash through the trees, brandishing the Sway. -

Name: Noi Yanamori Age: 14 Gender: male Weapons: Pole Arm Axe (the Sway) Appearance: Untidely kept black hair, brown eyes, and specially woven kimono with metal in slightly, of course sandals and socks. Personality: Definitely a follower. Doesn't like to give orders, but always follows them to the letter. He's sensitive to other people's feelings and knows not to touch certain hurtful subjects. Mostly stays quiet but likes to listen and will put in his opinion during a discussion. Trained as a protective soldier, he mostly hangs back and always sides with who he thinks is his leader. Completely loyal. Speciality: Solving complex time puzzles like word games and key traps. History: He was born near the forests, and was always told to respect nature. He was taught how to think on his feet and how put his life in trust. Noi trained with his grandfather's pole arm axe called Sway in order to protect his family while intimidating opponents. The Juppon Gatana burned his village to the ground and killed his grandparents. After searching for them by roving the countryside, he was attacked by police for having a weapon at such a young age. Although he was able to hold them off, he was shot in his shoulder. Kenji found him during this brutal display and knocked out the police. Now Noi follows Kenji, lending his long reach and calculating mind whenever need be. -
I don't really think that any anime or manga show really sucks, except that one, never mind. Maybe it's just that some of us are watching animes meant for younger kids that could care less about the plot and others. Except SD Gundam. That just made me crazy, discracing the good name of Gundam! :flaming: Luckily we have the ability to strike back at such shows  ! The only other thing I don't like is the one episode where Megas XLR makes fun of Halo. Halo is a highly respectable video game, easily outdoing any giant robot show (except the Gundam series).
-
Rurouni Kenshin would make a great game. It would have to be an RPG because nothing else would work for it! It could have two modes. A campaign mode where you automatically switch between characters while playing out the story. And a versus mode where you pick either a hero or a villain and go head on! When you think about it, there really is great potential for Kenshin to be turned into an RPG. He doesn't know all of the moves of his sword style, there's a deep involved storyline, and there's plenty of characters to make it stretch the limits of current AI. :wigout:
-
Personally I like Rurouni Kenshin more. Just sticking to the whole feudal Japan idea is what made me come to this sight in the first place :D ! Hope my vote helps your survey!
-
This sounds like a pretty interesting idea. As a big fan of Gundam, I would happily read it. However, what is something that really sets it apart? A twist that moves the whole thing in a new direction? I'd still read it, but there should be something different about it. :babble:
-
Kid Anime here. Why not just take several of the thoughts you've made up and put it into a storyline than goes along with them. Then, use the rest of you're ideas to mold the first one into a more understandable story. If that doesn't work, I have no more ideas. :D
-
The dragons aren't really spirits. They're just living creatures. Each of them is represented by a color. Blue, red, purple, black, green, and white. The whole reason for them being there is the story. If they all use their energy on each other's enegy, they create a new fist sized diamond called the Dragon's Heart. There really aren't any main bad guys except for Adoko's old partner, the serpent guardian. But they do run in to Naraku a few times. He eventually kidnaps Shike because of her demon transformation. Other than that, the only baddies are random demons. You can give me an idea if you want to get some credit if anyone really likes the story.
