1. 1. Age - 13-18 (15 exactly) 2. Gender - Female 3. Where are you from? I am a Native American, from America obviously. 4. How did you come across anime? - Cartoon Network aired Tenchi Muyo. 5. Do you think Anime influences you as a person? Explain. I think it has, because of it, I seem to be a bit more open about myself. Why? Well, when I was younger, I was rather timid. I didn't like to be made fun of, and even my closer friends didn't know a lot about me. And when one of my (former) friends made fun of me because I told her that I liked anime, I felt that I should stick up for myself more often, and be more open. So, I told her off and said "Who cares?" 6. Research shows that anime is becoming increasingly popular with the Western World. Why do you think this is so? Well, I have always thought that there was an anime or manga out there for everyone. A lot of people could relate to an anime, maybe not directly, but...you get my jist. It just seems that more companies have been able to get the word out about anime and it seems to be catching on with a lot more people. A lot of people are figuring out that there's more to anime than the fact that it's animated. A "cartoon" if you will, there's a great plotline and good character development. Cartoons have no plotline, you don't see Tom and Jerry go through a multi-episode dilemma or anything like that. Do you? Movies such as The Grudge, Hero, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Matrix...etc. (you see my point) where stars such as Keanu Reeves and countless others are into this whole thing are able to influence the masses. ((Thinks of creepy fangirls who have those pictures of him on their walls, reading interviews about what he likes and saying. "Well, if that's what he likes, then that's what I like." And I know they're out there. :p)) 7. What attracts you to anime? It?s different, it's more than a cartoon. (See above) 8. Is your interest in Anime, in any way related to an interest in Japan or to learn about Japenese society? Actually yes, my friend and I can't wait to go there ourselves and see what it's like. 9. Have you taken a Japanese language class or been to Japan? No, but my friend and I plan on going after we graduate. 10. Have you learned anything about Japanese culture, and if so, give three specific examples. Little things like school on Saturdays like WhiteAoiFox mentioned or things as simple as taking off your shoes outside like DarkTigerPack17 mentioned. Or something like the fact that they have the shower/bath in a different room than the toilet, and that the toilets are not...Americanized toilets. Well then, that should be enough. "^__^" Hope that it helps...I talked a lot...
2. This is a little of topic, but...Ailes de Velour, your avatar looks familiar. :p Is it from that movie Labyrinth? Anyway, I also have this strange re-occuring person in my dream. He shows up once every couple months or so. He has dirty blonde hair that covers his blue eyes. He wears a long black trenchcoat, and keeps a sword with him. He's tall and thin, really athletic looking though. (Why? I have no idea...I think I've watched too much anime...nah, that's not possible.:D ) He showed up for the first time in July of last year. On the 13th, exactly five months before my birthday. I'm still looking for the reasons why this dream turned out to be so...odd. I'm standing in a large parking lot, it's almost empty, except for one black car behind me. I turn around to see that there is also a four lane highway behind me. It's then that I hear yelling. Something like "Hey! Get back here!" I turn around to see that boy running toward me, and men in black suits are running after him. He grabs my arm and we get into the black car. He starts it just in time to get away from these men. We're driving over a bridge, and for some reason, I feel like I can trust him. So I help keep watch for the men while he drives like a maniac at illegal speeds across this bridge. After losing the men, we pull off of the main highway and go through a town. It's deserted. We stop at a tall building and he gets out and motions for me to do the same. I do, and we walk up the steps together to go in. He holds the door open for me to walk in first, but disappears when I turn back to thank him. I eventually find an elevator and take it up to the fifteenth floor. (I think fifteen because I was going to turn fifteen at the time.) I walk out to see white walls and green tiled floors. (My school colors.) I hear screams and run down the long corridor to investigate. When I open the door to an Art Studio, I see my old Studio in Art teacher (I absolutely despise her) holding my friend's arm, a carving knife in the other hand. I run up and attempt to hit her, but she tries to stab me. I remember that she only gets a hold of my black t-shirt and rips it. I managed to kick her in the stomach before taking off with my friend and the knife. We split up and I drop the knife. When I get back to the entrance, she's waiting for me with the knife in her hand. She manages to stab me in the forearm. (Nothing serious, thankfully) I hit the ground and try to pull the knife out. When I do, I watch her pass out and fall almost on top of me. That boy stands there, helps me up and out to the car. We drive away and he helps me with my arm when we stop again. It's then that he tells me that he wants me to run away with him... Then I wake up...and he shows up many more times, I in fact just "met" with him last week. But I don't know who he is or why he exists in my dreams. Eventually, these dreams do get weirder and weirder.
3. Thank you very much StarrStruck...I will try my hardest to keep up. Now I just have to figure out how to jump back into it...Hmm... *Goes off to think*
4. Hey Reiku... I sort of became inactive with the RPG. But things went so fast around the same time that I started going overtime with work and my school's literary club. I was going to ask if you would fill me in so that I could start posting again. Or if it's too late, that I drop it all together. Please let let me know soon. *~Jung-Woo~*
5. Okay, I'm back with a new update on the release dates of the Final Four DVD's. Yay... Okay, as I have mentioned before: Volume 29: Bandits and Kings has already arrived. Volume 30: King Urameshi, will come out on April 19th. Volume 31: Dreams of Power, is due around June 21st. ((According to RightStuf)) Volume 32 (The FINAL Volume): Yusuke Rediscovered is still to be determined. As soon as I find out, I'll post it here. 6. It's really hard to try and believe just one source of information. And trying to believe many at once is just...I'm not even going to go there. I've heard that her husband made a statement in regard of what her words were in the terms of letting her live. From what he says, that if..."She wishes to die peacefully and not put any of us, including herself, through any more pain. She would at least have her dignity going out like this." And gaarasgirl, you're gonna kill me for this, but... If I were Terri Shiavo, I think that I would have said the same thing. I would never want to just lay there, in that state for so long. But starving her... I don't think that's right. Now, I know that this isn't about any of us. And we will never (Hopefully) have to go through what she has. But think about it. If you were her, would you really like to live like that for the rest of your life? By dying like this, it will help everyone, including herself.
Originally Posted by Retribution I thought that she was a vegetable. She couldn't move, and would've died without the feeding tube. I mean, she's only going to make things worse for her husband, I'd probably let her go.
It's true, things would be a lot better for her not to live. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sound like I want her to die. If things could be changed and she could get better, I'd be right there saying "Go for it." But there isn't.
Originally Posted by Heaven's Cloud First, we should examine what the family means by responsive. Terri Shiavo has remained in a lower vegetative state for the past fifteen years. The responses that her family refers to are facial expressions, sweats, and rapid eye movements. From what I have read, these are common among nearly all coma patients. Since she suffered heart failure that led to severe brain damage she has been hooked up to feeding tubes and occasionally respirators when she was unable to breathe on her own. Michael Shiavo, as well as several of Terri?s cousins, state that she would not wish to remain alive in the condition that she is in. However, many of her other family members, including her parents, want to keep her alive in case she happens to awaken. Regardless of whether she comes to or not, her doctors all agree that her brain damage is so severe that she would remain in a vegetative state. This whole debacle is occurring because Terri did not have a written copy of what her wishes would be should this situation arise. About five years ago, when this issue was first getting media coverage, my whole family wrote down there wishes on what actions should be taken if this were to happen and put them in a safety deposit box. Personally, I would want my family to remove the feeding tubes if something similar happened to me I wouldn?t want to place such a tremendous burden on my family.
The doctors are reporting that she is showing signs of dehydration, and she has been without food or water for six days. I think that they should just get it over with now. But her parents still keep pleading with the judge "selfishly". It's going to be tough on everyone.
7. There is an anime channel that several companies advertise about. The Anime Network can be provided through cable or satellite providers as you wish...um...the link, I believe is right here. So check that out if you want. Hope that I helped. *~Jung-Woo~*
8. Oh...don't ruin it for me...:p Was it Chachamaru?! There's a small saying about that: Scientists have found the source of nose bleeds. ((Picture of Gackt-sama flashes)) He he he...
9. Is that what was going on? Hmm...well, if she doesn't come back or whatever, I think that you should just continue playing and using her character. But hey, it's up to you...
10. Cowboy Bebop... I just love how the background looks. Ganymede looked very nice with the floating islands and spores falling. I believe that the fighting scenes were also pretty cool. But even the detail on the characters, Vicious and Spike were very well drawn.

Sing M-LS

Well, I got your PM and I'm willing to give this a try. Even if I'm not Korean. :p Name: Uriko Age: 21 (Drinking age...hehe...) Appearance: - See Below - What band are you in: The Ladybugs Bio: Uriko was a young girl when her family decided to educate her musically. She was brought up by her sister and father to sing and play piano/keyboards. Uriko's mother died giving birth to her, and so she never knew the wonderful woman that her mother was. She grew up in a loving family, and had many friends when she was young. When she performed with her local select chorus, a scout picked her up and set her up with a studio. One thing lead to another and now, she is a Ladybug. 12. OOC: Sorry... :animeswea Innocent and I were just talking about how we were going to approach this. But please...I'm begging you! Check your words...I'm a big spelling freak and it tears me apart when you just make little mistakes like "teh" instead of the or "liek" instead of like. It just throws me a little off-track when I'm reading this. Okay...I'm done rambling. ____________________________ "Hey! I never said that you could walk away from me." Tim ran after them as the crowd dispersed. He grabbed Jenny's wrist rather forcefully and twisted her around to face him. "How dare you even think to humiliate me like that?!" "Let go of me!" Jenny yelled. "No, not until you apologize." He replied, furious. "Hey. Let her go." James grabbed Tim's arm and forced him to let go by wrenching his arm toward him. "Make me, skater boy." Tim replied, examining James' clothes. "Listen, I'm not looking for any trouble. But you harassed these girls first." James said as he let go of Tim's arm. "You should never touch a lady without her permission." "Oh, and I'm supposed to take etiquette lessons from you?" He snarled. "I never said that." James replied calmly as they walked out of line, Geneive and Jenny following them. "Whatever. Don't get in my way again. And you," He turned to Jenny and Geneive. "Stay the hell away from me." "With pleasure." They replied.

15. OOC: Okay...that's a little fast. But just remember, they aren't going out...yet... James scratched the back of his head. remembering that he was supposed to do something earlier. It preoccupied him while he waited with Geneive and Jenny for the first ride, the ferris wheel. "Are you okay?" Jenny asked him. "Yeah. It's just that there was something that I was supposed to do today. It's bugging me that I can't remember." "It'll be alright." She reassured him. James' cell phone vibrated in his pocket as they walked up to the car they were going to ride in and he snatched it out quickly. "Hello?" He asked as the door to the car shut behind Geneive. "James? Is that you?" A quiet voice questioned. "Who is this?" James asked, confused. "It's me, Brandi." The girl replied. "Who are you talking to James?" Jenny asked. "No one Jenny. It's nothing." He shook his hand at her. "Listen Brandi, I'm sorry I forgot to call you, but can we do this later?" He asked. "Who was that?" "Who was who?" James was puzzled. "That girl. Don't tell me that you've only been there a week and you've already found someone." Brandi replied. "What are you talking about? Why are you acting like this, Brandi?" "Never mind." She hung up. "Girls." James sighed as he sat back in time for the ride to begin. "What was that all about?" Geneive asked. "It was a friend of mine...back in New York. Her name is Brandi...I promised that I'd call her to let her know how I'm doing here." "I thought you said you never had a girlfriend." Jenny replied. "I never did. Although everyone thought between our two schools that we should go out. She thought it would be okay, but I said no. I always just thought of her as a friend...nothing more. She acts like we are going out...but we're not. Never have, never will." He sighed. "So that's what you forgot to do?" Geneive asked. "Yeah."
16. James ran up the porch steps and opened the door in front of him. Huffing and puffing, he tried to catch his breath as he looked at the grandfather clock in the foyer. "James Alexander! You're five minutes late!" A voice called out. "Dad, I'm sorry. I was...out." James said as he slipped off his shoes and walked into the living room. "And do you have to use my middle name?" "Yes and what were you doing all day?" His father asked, turning around from his work at the computer. "I was with a girl-" "Oh really? How nice. She was nice...wasn't she?" His father questioned. "Yeah. Her name's Jenny, she was showing me around town. She's Korean." James replied. "I see. Well, it's good to see that you're making friends so fast." He turned away. "So what's for dinner? I'm starving." James walked over and flopped onto the couch. "Is there anything that you would prefer?" "I want some steak. Let's go out and get some." "I would James, but I have work to do. We also have to finish unpacking." His father replied with the tapping of the keyboard in the background. "Alright..." James mumbled. "You don't have to right now. We just got here a little while ago. All you have left is some of your clothes." "Fine then, I'll do it Sunday or something." "How was school then?" "It was good, I even got to play volleyball!" James replied excitedly. "Did you meet anyone else besides this Jenny?" "There was this kid named Aidan in a few of my classes, a girl named Javen introduced herself at lunch, and there's this girl that hangs around with Jenny...I think her name's Geneive." "That's good." James' father replied. "I'm just gonna make myself some instant ramen or something." James got up and walked into the kitchen.
17. "Yeah, this is Twisters, a local cafe. Geneive and I usually come here for a milkshake or something like that." Jenny pointed out another building to James. "I see. This town doesn't seem that bad. It does remind me a lot of the town I used to live in though. Small, quiet and peaceful." James smiled as he pulled out another straw out of his black messenger bag and stuck it in his mouth. "It makes me happy, being in a quiet place. I don't really like the cities...too much noise." He grinned. "That's good. I'm glad that you like it here." Jenny smiled. "R-really?" James' face turned a light shade of pink. "Yeah." She giggled. "Your face..." "Oh!" James' hand met his face in a flash. "Sorry." "There's no reason to hide it. I think it's rather cute." She laughed. "I'm just not used to anyone...a girl...really caring. I went to an all guys school and so this is my first contact with girls in a long time, hanging out like this anyway." James replied. "I've never had a girlfriend before. So...I don't know what it's like." He scratched the back of his head and smiled nervously. "I see. So that's why you're so shy." She smirked, something was definitely on her mind. The local Clock Tower chimed to signal the regular sunset at eight. "Oh, I'm sorry. I have to go. I promised my dad that I would be back at eight fifteen. But I really appreciate what you've done for me Jenny. Here." James grabbed her hand, pulled out a pen and scribbled something down. "That's my cell phone number. Call me sometime." "Okay." Jenny blushed a little. "I have to go, but thanks again!" He yelled as he began to run off. "Bye!" Jenny yelled.
18. Before Shana could answer, Sesshoumaru appeared in a flash. "Inuyasha." "What the hell do you want?" Inuyasha pushed to the front of the company. "I was curious to find out something. The way you're acting gives an obvious hint that you may have my answer." "Like hell I'm going to tell you anything, you idiot." He smirked. "Would you like to hear my question before rambling like a fool?" Sesshoumaru asked, putting his hand to the grip of Tokijin. "No, I just want you dead." Inuyasha unsheathed Tetsusaiga and everyone stepped back. Sasuke asked Tao. "Do you know who he is?" "No, I don't. Inuyasha obviously does though." "Whoever he is, he is rather handsome." Hana replied. "That is Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha's older half-brother." Kagome replied. "This could get ugly, we should step back a little more." The rest of the company gained some distance while Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru were at a standoff. "Little brother, do you really think that you can kill me?" "Sure, why not? I'm the one who has the Tetsusaiga after all." His smirk never disappearing. "That sword has no worth to me anymore. I want to know about these rumors. The ones of the sword that can kill a devine being with one blow. Surely you know." Sesshoumaru replied. "And judging by the prayer beads on the monk's hand, Naraku has returned." "Maybe, maybe not." Inuyasha spat. "I have no more knowledge than you about Naraku or the Sword." "Really?" Sesshoumaru asked. "Then this was a waste of my time." He disappeared in another flash. "I'm watching you Inuyasha."
19. Javen ran over and locked her arm around Jenny's shoulders in her usual fashion. Looking up, she blinked at the boy and extended her hand. "Hey, name's Javen Namako. I don't really know Jenny but we had a class together last semester and I try to be friends with everyone, can never have too many." He took her hand in a tight grip and smiled. "James." "Welcome." She cut in the line and looked back smiling. "So where are you two off to next?" "I don't know about Jenny, but I have gym class next." James replied with a hint of excitement. "She told me that this is the volleyball unit." "He used to play volleyball before he moved here." Jenny explained to Javen. "Oh, that's cool. For the school?" "Yeah, I was the captain of my team." James replied shortly as he threw his straw out. "I need a new straw." "May I ask why you chew on straws?" Jenny asked curiously. "I don't know. I just like to, I guess." James shrugged. Javen gave him an odd look of sorts and turned around. "So Jenny, I...well, you know that I'm new around here and I don't really know this place very well. Would you mind...showing me around the town? I mean, if it's not too much trouble. You don't have to." He grinned nervously, waiting for her reply.
20. 'This Jenny...she seems pretty nice.' James thought to himself as he pulled out a new bending straw and stuck it in his mouth. 'Things could be a lot better here than in New York.' "So James, what made you move here to Middleton High?" Jenny asked him. "My dad used to live out here when he was my age. We just got here about a week ago." "What about your mom?" Jenny asked innocently, never knowing of James' situation. "She died..." James stopped and looked at his bracelet as he held his wrist above his head. "Oh, I'm sorry, I never meant to-" "It's okay. None of us really expected it, but she was diagnosed with cancer. It's not really anyone's fault, so there's no need to apologize. While I do miss her, I know that she isn't hurting anymore. That's enough for me." James replied quietly. "How long has it been?" "A month since five minutes ago." He replied shortly, looking up at the clock. "So...we're in the same grade, what's going on in Gym class?" "It's the volleyball unit." Jenny replied, cheering up at the change of the subject. "Did you say volleyball?" "Yes." "Great! I love volleyball, I was captain of the varsity team last year." James smiled. "Really?" Jenny asked excitedly. "Yeah. I had a lot of fun going to all of the state competitions and stuff." He twirled his straw again. "Man, those were some good times." 'I wonder what she thinks of me...nah...she probably thinks I'm an idiot or something.' James scratched the back of his head.
21. 1. Have you ever attended an Anime related Convention? Yes, Wizard World Philadelphia 2004. 1. a) If so, what makes you want to attend an Anime Convention? It's a rare opportunity to go and purchase things that you normally couldn't get, you can also get to see people associated with the companies that license anime. Assuming you would go to an Anime related convention, how much would you be willing to pay for a weekend pass for a reasonably large convention? Otakon is rather expensive for a weekend pass. But I'm still planning to go...it's around $50...correct me if I'm wrong, I can't remember. 4. Assuming you would go to ANY type of convention, how much would you be willing to spend on commercial products? Um...a lot if I really liked it. 4. a) On average, how much have you spent in the past? About $500 in the course of two days. I still didn't get what wanted. 4. b) What's the most you've spent? $30.00 on a figure of Tidus from Final Fantasy X for my friend. 5. 22. After the kid that so many people had screamed as Kane tried to trip James, he sighed, annoyed and got out of line. It was when he turned to see a carrot hit that kid in the face, James couldn't help but laugh a little. Kane growled a little and James looked over to see a girl and boy talking, she must have thrown it. "He's such an ass, I can't wait to beat him so bad..." That boy shook his head. "What?" "You try to act all bad, but I know for a fact your just as kind as I am, and just as sweet." The boy said and the girl's response was a mere blush. 'I'm not really hungry right now. I'll just go to the library.' James thought to himself and walked towards to entrance of the cafeteria. He passed by Geneive and Jenny's table without noticing and continued on. He sat in the library, looking around and staring at the ceiling, chewing on the same straw that he had been all day. He looked over at the clock and then looked to his wrist. A silver chain bracelet wrapped around his left wrist was there to remind him of something. His mother. She had given it to him on his tenth birthday, right before she was diagnosed with cancer. He and his father moved out here to where his father was originally from shortly after his mother died. 'It's going to be a month in one hour.' He thought as the clock struck 11:43 am.
23. OOC: Hmm...no one's touched this in a few days... The four girls worked hard to put out the fires. But battle cries could be heard not too far from where they were. Ishizu and Marou began to make haste, as if to not be caught by any one of those rebels, while Amaya and Maaya worked hard to get out one larger fire. Another large blast was heard on the floors above and soot from the ceiling began to fall. A loud creaking noise emerged from the wooden beams holding up the stone. "It's going to fall!" Maaya yelled as she pushed Amaya out of the way. She fell backward and close to the fire as the floor fell through and separated the four of them. "Are you okay?" Ishizu yelled as she helped Amaya up. "I think so..." Maaya gasped, but when she got up and moved her arm, she watched as a long cut down the side of her forearm began to let the blood seep out. "Damn..." She said to herself. "Go on without me. I'll be fine." "Are you sure?" Amaya yelled. "Hurry up! Just go before the fires get worse!" Maaya yelled as she turned to look for some way out. The fire had died down, and the ones that they had extinguished before the collapsing of the ceiling were also ahead of her now. She heard the other girls footsteps get lighter and soon disappear. She looked up to see fire on the next floor above. She used her uninjured arm to climb up the ruins and jump through the fire in front of her and continued on through the corridors. Before long, Maaya was growing weary, and so she pulled out the map that Ashrel had given her. A tunnel hidden to her view was about twenty feet behind her, so Maaya turned around and looked for the door. When she found it, it was behind a mass of rubble and scorched wood. She worked to get everything out of the way and squeezed her way through. Continuing through the darkness wandering to someplace that she would know of when she got there. When Maaya emerged from a spare wine cellar near the stables, the sky was a midnight blue and the stars showed no sign of the day's events. Maaya brushed off the soot and dirt that managed to stain her clothes and mark her skin. She walked no more than a few steps before collapsing from exhaustion and falling unconscious.

25. James didn't realize until he reached his Honors English classroom that someone had been following him. He shook his head to get his hair out of his face and noticed a pair of sharp blue eyes turn away. James shrugged as he walked down the hallway. 'What was all that about?' He asked himself as he scratched his head. It was then that he realized that the bell was to ring in about another minute or so. 'Oh...I see.' He sat down and the teacher, Mr. Diesing, walked over to him. "Hello there James. Welcome to Honors English." He held out his hand and James took it in a handshake. "Hello there...um..." He paused, fumbling for his schedule with his free hand. "Diesing, Mr. Diesing." He said with a smile. "Right." James said when he noticed out of the corner of his eye, Jenny walk into a classroom just across the hall. "I'm gonna kill you!" A booming voice yelled from the hallway and the young teacher turned around. A larger kid, most likely a football player, holding a boy slightly less larger than him by the collar of his shirt. "Yeah, well I'd like to see you try!" The other pushed back. Mr. Diesing ran out into the hallway, clearing James' view. "Hey now! Break it up!" The kid that James met first, Aidan, also walked in. 'Two classes in a row. How fortunate. Luck's gotta be on my side today.' James thought as he looked around the room. Little did he know, Jenny was throwing a glance or two at him. He just twirled the straw in his mouth and kept right on chewing, oblivious as he was. OOC: There...I notice that James is getting a lot of attention for being such a new kid. :p
