1. Well, I don't acually play guitar. I'm a Bass player myself (both electric and upright), but a bunch of my friends all play the guitar. One of my friends acually takes lessons at a music store, another has been learning by ear form her dad. Between the ::counts on fingers:: four of them, everyone helps each other out with different things they have trouble on, like bar cords. I'm not quite sure how beginer's books work or anything like that, but if what I suspect, for fun you may want to look up the guitar parts of maybe a few songs you like to listen too, just to watch along with the music. Its a nice look into different styles of writing and such.
2. Kimi appeared, a bit disapointed she missed alot. 'Damn sidetracks'. The detective was still locked in his confrontation, Gavin was lying on the ground and she could sense the girl Ali very near, but out of her small feild of vision. A swoosh sound met her ears and she turned to face the frantically worried look of Botan. "Well don't just sit there on your oar missy, isn't there anything you can do since you are here?" "I do know a little basic western white magic..." "Good, we got two people here that could desperately use some help from your skills." "Right." The ferry girl rushed off to help both of the injured team members. "I have something to put to rest." Kimi took a post atop one of the nearby roofs, watching out. She felt something was on its way. What, she didn't know. It was familiar, but unfamiliar at the same time.
3. Chrysanthema had stared half in shock where she last had sight of Emilio, fearing the worst and hoping the best. The ice had really got her off guard; she was still shivering pretty violently from the cold. This little fire demon was very sensitive to those kinds of temperatures. A fiery glare bore through Kami's back, forcing her to divert some of her attention. Chrys was really- Well, there were a few different feelings churning about inside. Her freinds all ment too much too her. But one thing was evident, her anger was high up there and she was loosing control. Bad thing. The only real tactic she had seen from the woman was sharp winds. That could be avoided, to a degree. There was no need to exchange words as Chrys went in for round two. So what if there was a bit of a gap to overcome placing one element against the next. The girl would die trying if it helped. Go ahead and call her a stubborn, childish, moron. What was once the great and feared Dark Army was loosing enough members to downgrade it?s classification considerably. Chrysanthema listened and felt for the 'sharpening' of the wind that had to proceed the actually strike of Kami's attacks. So she wouldn't be able to dodge everything or anything like that, but it would hopefully save some vitals. Flying was erratic, but the demon was very determined to at least get one hit on the sorceress, even if just a mild scratch on the arm.
4. Like this Aron fellow needed to warn her not to try anything funny. Cooper wasn't that dense. She knew perfectly well the odds and chances. Suicide. Seemed to her like he carried a bit of weight leadership wise. An opinion on the Dyru dude was a bit harder to place, the desire not to be in the other reject's position very prominent. The girl shook her head. "Nah, not personally. Think her name's Jade. Word around tha block's she gives the guards a good run around at least three ta four times a week." She turned her head to look at Alex with some thought. Nope, couldn't place a name to the face off the bat. She heard so many things about so many people and different stuff that sometimes it got all jumbled a tad. "Before you even ask, I don't think I know him" she said placidly.
5. Devlin stood up and walking next to Torran, followed the Councilwoman along with the others. He suspected he wasn't the only one thinking 'why me?' at the moment. "I doubt we are going to find any trouble here." A loss of breath took Devlin over for a minute. Torran gave him a look, but he returned one that said he'll be fine. "Normally the real danger doesn?t begin until the journey has started." He could see his friend was still weary of the people, but said nothing else otherwise. 'Maybe I am the one too trusting,' he thought mildly.
6. Cooper frowned a little bit. Traitor. Interrogation. She hadn't expected anything less, but the way the words were said made it sound like she was up the creek without a paddle again. "Alright Mr. Stern, we gonna stand here or's it gonna be an official matter?" The girl got a cold look for the comment, but she just shrugged.
7. Something was tugging at the back of Mae's mind during the search. Plenty of the falculty was still in the building, but the halls were still relitively quiet...like the hours before a game. It hit her. "Diaga?" she asked peering into another of the empty classrooms looking for any signs. "Yea?" "There's a big volleyball game later. It's gonna be a huge affair because the opponents are the rival South Side High. Some of the girls were talking about it in the locker room before gym..."
8. "Hm...bad thing?" Sashanea blurted out while looking at the bones. "Yes," was the reply she got from Javen. "I supose it would be rude to just stand here then." She drew her weapon and turned around to cover behind the party since she was in the back. The elf stood ready, waiting for one of the Kalsins to make its move. It complied, and she was happy to oblige.
9. Kimi amusedly watched Gavin run off. "Oh no, you aren't leaving me out of this one!" She started to take off after him, but almost plowed down the todler on the way. What was Koenma thinking standing in the middle of the hallway like that? "There is a mass distress in the Human World and as much I'd hate to let you loose upon that world-" "I know that already you child, where did you think I was heading?" "I won't answer that, but this might be faster." A portal opened up next to her by the time she caught up with everyone... "Maybe you aren't so worthless after all Koenma," she called as she left the Spirit World. "Should I take that as a complement?" Once 'safely' in the Human realm, Kimi stepped into the nearest shadow and followed the energy signatures. It felt big.
10. Chrysanthema cut down another of the dark army, but caught the sight of Kami out of the corner of her eye. "3 A'clock!" She shouted to the others. Well, it was her three o'clock, maybe not so much everyone else's. 'Oh no you don't lady.' She took off from the ground to meet the woman half way, scythe poised. Kami didn't have the air advantage anymore. She sent another of those air attacks. Chrys couldn't dodge; it would hit everyone else. "Heat wave!" the demon tried to send the energy off in the one direction alone, but it wasn't something she practiced often and some leaked to its normal round path. She needed a lot of energy to counter the power strike effectively. The two air blasts met halfway in a fair sized crash, completely messing with the weather. "Fire Scourge!" It missed. Far too easily for comfort. Chrys was getting frustrated. The woman could see it on her face and just laughed quietly to herself. Flames started to lick the edge of her weapon as she charged at Kamilla to fight at a closer range.
11. Mae made her way to the back of the school after the last bell had rang. She cracked her neck as she aproached the set meeting area. "That...was boring beyond all belief. The worst part was physics with Mr. Weasel for a teacher," She immitated the nasty Mr. Fletture perfectly while pointing to the brick wall as if it was a chalkboard. She just needed to get that little bit out of her system. "Do we have all of the info, 'cuz I don't like how off things feel."
12. hm...I remember waay back when...lol. I used to watch Cardcaptors and Sailor Moon along side the regular old cartoons like ninja turtles, then went from there. I started to watch some of the other anime that my cousin acually had introduced me to...I've been through Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, back when Yu Yu Hakusho was acually on afterschool Toonami...good times.
13. Chrys was really enjoying herself in spite of everything. She even laughed as turned about soldiers frantically tried to get some sort of headway or even discern what direction to shoot. She paused, hovering in the air to look at everyone's positions. She watched Sarin and Amer fight for a minute; they made a really good team. When she turned around to look at Emilio, a frown crossed her face. She followed his gaze. Oh great, the girlfriend again. Wait a minute. She did not like the look on the woman's face. The worst part was that she had the altitude advantage. "Oh, no Lady! Don't even think about it! I am not getting involved." "Too late, you already are."
14. "Stop all the childish bickering," she warned generally with a smile. "We are basically stuck with each other in a sense for a good while, best to make the most of it." She finished absently, unaware really what she was saying. Sahanea was thrilled at the thought of finally getting to explore Darkwood forest, all danger aside. "I have been there once, decades ago. I must agree with Kalysta." The group looked at her like What the hell were you doing there? "I did not acually go in there...but I really wanted to. I saw something and anxiously wanted to check it out. That plan did not work well."
15. Cooper looked at him carefully. She figured it to be best not to make them wait for an answer. She would 'study' later. "Cooper. As ta my stance, your side." She was half-leaning against the wallframe. One ear twitched slightly, but she had reasons herself to be careful. "Ya know my name, it's only fair I know yours."
16. Mae just looked over at the teacher, and the teacher made a motion for her to speak. Mae reluctantly stood there, glancing around at everyone from her spot next to the window in the very back of the classroom. The whispers were really getting to her. "Yea I know her, been going to some school overseas. Must have finally gotten kicked out." "I heard she's related to that chick Minnow." The teacher must have figured her pause for being shy because the teacher quickly hushed the other students. "Alright dear, don't be shy." Just her luck, the room goes almost dead quiet. "My name's Mae Lecant. I've been going to a private school for the past years, but I already know how things work...My cousin used to go here." As she sat back down, she gave a hidden half-nod to Scott, Diaga, and Brady as her way of saying hi. She looked back at her desk, unfolding a letter from her Aunt she hadn't gotten a chance to read yet. Mae glanced it over 'No, I can't go. There is no way I can face them after?after?' she mentally choked back the bad feelings although her face would not betray the fact. 'Damn you Cuz, what were you thinking?' Mae stared out the window.
17. Cooper sat amiss a bunch of files. Four of them to be exact, but she had to go through others to get to them. She needed to know what happened to her friends. They were her only family as far as she was concerned, having been wondering ever since the separation. Anthony, dead. They tried splicing him with a shark and something went wrong with his lungs. She just skimmed the reading, there wasn't much time. She could hear the sound of trouble starting and the guard she had tricked to let her in here for a few minutes would get wind of it soon. It was growing closer. Maddie and Joe, both something wrong with the procedure. 'Those?damn?liars?just like tha rest.' "Hey you, Autumn. Are you finished yet? I don't wanna get in trouble for this." He was fidgeting. "Oh no, of course not!" Cooper said in her most innocent and regretful voice. Poor new guy probably wasn't filled in before being sent to this hell. "I'm finished. That meant so much to me, thank you." Walking out of the file room the guard had locked the door behind them and then picked up his radio. Then looked at Cooper before running over to stand at the corner watching for any movement down the hallway. He was watching Cooper at the same time, and she kept the innocent girl façade for a bit longer. "What's happening?" she asked worriedly. "A group of kids acting up, and they're headed this way. What do you know of this?" "Nothing really," she said as she moved closer to peer around the corner herself. He wasn't telling her everything he was told over the radio, and she knew because she could hear the whole thing. If the rest of the rejects saw her as a traitor, then so be it. The poor guy didn't know what hit him. The next stationed guard had already run into trouble."So it really began, has it?"
18. Sashanea hid a small smirk as she leaned over slightly to whisper a word to Ruby. "I caught that..." Surprisingly. There was no need to reply; she said it purely in small jest. 'A mercenary huh? Interesting...' she thought. Diverting attention back to what was going on she shifted her weight on the horse a bit, eager to be moving again. In spite of everything she was having a bit of a joy moment thinking about all the change in scenery. "Where are we headed?"
19. Rain. Of all times. A violent coughing fit racked Devlin's frame. He pulled the soaked cloak tighter around himself. Was the weather a sign of things? The man looked up at the engraved archway, then over at his friend of old. "We're here. You didn't have to come?" "I know," Torran replied. Devlin had to admit to himself, he was extremely grateful. Opening the doors, he found they were not the first to arrive. Nor would they be the last he suspected. He tried to stifle the next cough; the room was so quiet. "Good, good," A woman said. From her position, he figured it was one of the Council Members. "Have a seat. Others have yet to arrive."
20. Kimi's eyes widened slightly as the girl Suki ran near her. That might not be the best thing to happen. Out of reflexes and instinct combined, she grabbed the girl's wrist as she passed. "Where are you headed in such a hurry?" "Let me go!" she cried out. "I have to see Sacheil!" "Sachiel's dead!" Kimi didn't shout per say, but was very stern in the matter with a louder voice than her usual manner. "N-no." Suki stopped dead in her tracks out of the shock. Gavin came running up and seeing Kimi's wondering look said, "Shia got us out. What-" "I'm mildly suprised no one had said anything to tell her otherwise. Was I not suposed to say anything?" "Um, you could have been a bit nicer about it at the very least," he said. Kimi just shrugged, glancing wearilly at the girl from the corner of her eye. "What now?"
21. 'I should have disappeared last I had the chance? But I have to see this through now that I agreed to it. When this over I'm really going to give the authorities a 'run for their money' so to speak.' Kimi made her way to the cells, thoroughly scaring the couple of guards on duty. It wasn't a difficult task. "I did all I could without reserving a seat for myself also, but I fear that the toddler is strategically incompetent. Here's the latest news I've been able to gather though. Kahu is nowhere to be found of course, and the detective fellow's gone back to the Human world. As you know, everyone's split up and it's the perfect time for a strike that would tip the scales largely out of our favor. Anyway, how are you guys holding up? This place is a little dreary, even for my tastes."
22. Sashanea finally had made her way through the throng to the injured kid but it looked like he had handled himself pretty well regardless. She couldn't help but narrow her eyes; something was slightly off for a minute before the feeling returned to normal. "Child, are you holding up well?" She didn't wait for an answer before cutting down an attacking orc. The numbers were growing thinner, thankfully. Sashanea was getting bored. She pulled the boy by the back of his shirt collar. "Come on, let us start to round up the group in one location." Suku struggled. "Hey, let go! I can walk you know." "I am sorry, it just looked like you were planning on standing there all night." The elf let go of him and looked around. She spotted Ruby trying to make his way somewhere, but couldn't see the destination. A stray orc charged toward them with a cry, but tripped over a rock. Sashanea laughed as the creature slowly got up on its knees coughing up the dirt it almost swallowed.
23. Chrys took a birds-eye surveillance of the approaching numbers, trying not to alert them to her presence. Yet. It looked like were bringing in more of those giant machines that almost shot her head off last time. 'I guess those will have to go first,' she thought while staying behind a line of trees, attempting to sneak around toward the back without crashing. They would never know what hit them. A grin spread on her face at the thought of a little score settling. Hovering behind the large group in the center of the road Chrysanthema poised herself for a quick strike. Concentrating as much energy as she dared into her blade, the girl dived at an angle at one of the giant cannons. Her strike was lucky, apparently she found the oil tank? Some of it sprayed all over the place, a little bit getting on Chrys' clothes. 'That'll take forever to get out.' Knocking down a few of the soldiers alarmed at the sudden leak she backed off a few feet, careful not to get hit with anything. "Fire Scourge." A few of them went up in flames, along with the cannon. It was a very entertaining explosion.
24. Sashanea was already outside. In the confusion though, she got separated from Kalysta because she wasn?t paying enough attention and didn?t think. A slight drawback. Crouched on the ground beneath the room's window (of course using a pile of barrels and wood to get down) she saw it was only a small band of orcs, maybe a dozen tops. Nothing much to worry deeply about. Drawing her weapon, the elf met one of the creatures outside the nearby doors. She blocked a few attacks, then countered with one of her own to neatly slice open it's front as soon as she had the opening. A second that she wasn't aware of almost hit her with the ax it was carrying, putting a nice tear in her clothes. "Watch where you swing that thing, you could put an eye out!" She yelled at the creature. It only seemed to get more ticked. A shout from the window pulled her attention, and she turned around completely to look at Javen and Suzu. "Where's Kalysta?" Javen asked. "I have not a clue. I was half asleep and got separated, didn't know we were using a buddy system." She didn't like the look she got in return. Oh well. "Behind you!" The kid Suzu exclaimed. The same annoying orc with the ax was going to lob her head off from behind. Sashanea looked at the thing in surprise, she had forgotten all about it. Jumping out of the way of a downswing she glared at the creature. 'Oh no you will not,' she thought bitterly while returning the favor.
25. Name: Mae Lecant Age: 18 Gender: Female Personality: Mae never smiles, even when she is having fun. She may look unfriendly, but that really isn't the case. She's just very shy around others, even friends that she knows well. Mae's the girl anyone could go to just to be away from everyone for a bit. Strange, but that's the kind of presence she has. Everything said in confidentiality stays that way, naming her 'Keeper of Secrets' as a joke. Others say it just goes in one ear and out the other because "the girl doesn't really care". Mae doubles as a bit of bodyguard for her close friends. No one harasses her or her friends and gets away with it. Ever. Appearance: Mae Weapons: She hates the sound of a gun and will refuse to even touch one if it can be helped, so instead uses small blades like daggers and kitchen knives. Ok, maybe not so much the latter... Side: Agent Bio: Mae was just a rookie agent finishing her training three years ago when it all went down, and wasn't involved (Happened to be in an entirely different location at the time). Some time after that, she took some time off to go back home and say hello to the family, etc. Her family always thought she was accepted into some prestigious boarding school over seas. When her father was shot in the line of duty, her mother took up drinking. Heavy drinking. Well one night she took a dive over the side of a bridge. It was less than four months ago, and she hasn't spoke to anybody regarding it, walking away with an exceptionally cold look at the mention. Rather than go stay at a relative's house, Mae kept where she was and in easy contact with the Agency. Work was a welcome relief from her own troubles.
