SECTION A In the following section, please answer each statement with one of five answers: A) Strongly Agree B) Agree C) Somewhat Agree D) Disagree E) Strongly Disagree 1) I find OtakuBoards rules easy to understand and follow. B. [some of the rules seem to be less set in stone/easy to follow for moderators than others, but overall everything is pretty black and white for what is and isn't allowed] 2) I feel that the staff at OtakuBoards understand their job and are capable of performing it appropriately. A. [Especially the PC mod, hmm. DeathKnight, wasn't it?] 3) OtakuBoards is easy to navigate. A. 4) OtakuBoards has a friendly atmosphere. B. SECTION B Please try to keep your answers relatively short in this section. 5) How often do you visit OtakuBoards? Dozens of times everyday- just to be sure everything is perfecto in my forum. A few times out of those I cruise around and post. 6) Do you feel that the rules are too strict/not strict enough/fine as they are? They are fine. 7) Should we continue to uncensor the creative writing areas on OtakuBoards? I believe so, I doubt any of the finer users would abuse that. 8) Would you rather a decentralized forum system on OB (more forums, less activity per forum) or a centralized forum system (less forums, more activity per forum)? Centralized. 9) Would you like to see a closer integration of myOtaku and OtakuBoards? Sure. 10) Are you signed up to myOtaku.com? Yeap. 11) If you are not signed up to myOtaku.com, do you plan to sign up in the near future? ... Yeap. 12) Do you read Announcements at OtakuBoards? Definately. 13) Which single Category (Category, as opposed to individual Forum) do you spend most of your time visiting? Prolly the OtakuPublic area. 14) Do you think that OtakuBoards should offer an in-built chat system as part of our service? If we included a chat, would you use it? Hmm, I don't think so. Depends on how it is executed and how much better it is than the generally accepted AIM. 15) If we offered an "OtakuBoards Wireless" service that would be accessible via Internet-capable cellphones, would you use it? No. 16) When we offer a next generation version of OtakuBoards, should we continue to provide semi-regular community events in our Event Arena or a similar forum? That'd be nice. 17) If you could add one new Category (Category, not Forum) to OtakuBoards, what would it be? OtakuKen. [I don't really have one to add.] 18) If you could remove one Category from OtakuBoards, what would it be? None. 19) If you could add anything to OtakuBoards (in terms of a new forum, a technical tool/feature, etc), what would it be? I don't care. 20) On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest), how would you rate your experience at OtakuBoards since you registered? 8.2

"Oh, yes. I can't say that i've ever had the pleasure of being with someone of the light." "I won't disapoint." Both of their eyes locked in a lustful look, each becoming more interested in the other every passing moment- interested in many more ways than one. Pro-life Pro choice. Let's be mature, kay?

No matter what babbling christians or wristcutter wannabes say, your opinon doesn't matter- neither does mine, actually. It is all up to her. And, I think she should have that choice. "But it is murder!" Maybe, doesn't matter to me if you murder anyone. Once again, as long as it is a well thought out, logical choice- I don't support much of anything if it is based on a blind rush. With that said, it shouldn't become so common that it is almost like a new form of birth control- that would be irresponsible. I have a feeling someone will quote this part of my post and Also, I would like to comment that my mother took serious consideration for the possiblity of aborting me- so no one can claim that I am biased for 'not knowing'; or tell me to 'try to place myself in the baby's position'. That is a waste of my time and yours. I hope this topic doesn't dissolve into a morass of pseudo-philosphy between liberal minds and conservitive ones- although they all do dissolve that way, don't they? PS. In a not so far away land that knew the name of DeathKnight all too well, a large, gloomy fortress stood. Thunder rolled overhead as rain began to pour. "So uh. I heard the boss stole some kid's soul." The guard glanced over to his partner, both dressed in the same uniform of armor. He yawned and shrugged, "Not his best work. I guess he is running out of evil to commit. Like last week he stole a little girls lollipop." One guard gave an odd look, "... What?" "I dunno. He said he was going out and returned with a lollipop. Started gloating about it. Sorta odd." "... That's retarded." "Eh. Can't blame the dude. He is all evilled out. He'll get more creative and good with his evil again so-" A large, evil sort of spell overtook the two guards and they promptly disappeared from veiw, not to be seen again. --- "Hahahaha...."

I've never seen my biological father before. He lives in San Diego and manages to make the child support payments so I know he is doing something. My biological mother last I checked was a cashier at a steak resturaunt. That was like a year ago and she hasn't called or anything since- so I am judging she is doing something like that now. My adoptive [grand]father was an insurance salesman for 25 years with State Farm insurance. My [grand]mother helped him out as a secretary- they made a pretty decent amount of cash. Nothing spectatuclar.

"Interesting." He approached the stone and poked it, grinning a bit. "So this is where my stone went." She gave him a questioning look, but he focused on the stone. Stepping foreward, the stone responded to his presence, giving off a slight aura. "I... acquired this stone from an elven sorceress many years ago. It left me without warning to find a new owner, I suppose. Useful thing." A large vial caught his eye to the right. It was full of a clear, still water. It had been opened and used a few times, a small portion of it missing. A label in ancient tongue worn and tattered from years of storage read "Holy Water". She followed his narrowing eyes to the vial and smiled sweetly. "Strongest holy water on this continent I believe. Would you like me to try some on you?" "No. That is alright, I am content in believing what you say." "Are you sure?" She said, smirking amusedly. "Quite." He said sternly, glancing to her and then back to the vial. "Alright. Now that you have seen all of my items with mystical properties, let me get around to answering your last question.." He turned and looked at her- he went back to looking emotionless, but he was quite curious in mind as to the answer of his question.

He swung his sword off his shoulder and set it down, setting it down on a part of bare floor. Casually, he strode on over to the futon and plopped down, hair falling over his face. "Enlighten me." Kenneth paused, glanceing up to her. "Why is a guardian letting an asura into her sanctum?" She pondered a bit, seeming to tease him a bit with silence before shifting her stance a bit, staring directly into his eyes. "I thought you seemed a bit unique. I am also curious as to why someone such as you is wandering idlely through a forest- especially with such careful steps, avoiding to damage the plantlife." He leaned back with a grin on his face, tapping his finger on his knee. Failing at his attempt to come up with a good excuse for an out-of-character sense of respect for life for an asura, he just shrugged. She smiled at that and nodded. "If you want to know why I am in your forest.. well, I don't have a good reason. I just wander." He got a bit more comfortable and gave her a serious look, "So, how do you know my name? And give me a better explination as to why you let me in if you know who I am."

Yeah, that sorta cramps what we want to do. We'll meet up with you all later, for now let me and her.. mingle. ;P ---- "She is fortunate that I didn't get a chance to use my full list of skills. Still.. she was holding back too," He continued thinking, cracking his neck with a quick jerk from side to side, "I am curious about this one- as she seems curious about me." Glancing at the pathway across the pool, his eyes narrowed considerablely at the water. They traced the pathway around to the terrace. "No trace of magical energies. Might as well follow her inside.." With brisk, paranoid steps he walked across the pathway and onto the terrace, glareing at the water with hatred. Arriving at the entryway to what he percived to be her home, she stepped inside, leaving him to decide on his own wether he wanted to follow or not. He arched his eyebrow, peering inside, and then back out into the forest. The positive aspects of what he could meet up with inside far outweighed just continueing on his journey. With the hesitation in his mind out of the way, he stepped inside..

I think love cannot be described by the efforts or personal accounts of one- Love can bring about many positive things and, yet, can bring about many negetive ones as well. I know for one thing that you don't choose when you first expierence love- it can happen quite early, really. It can be debateable as if it was "love" or not, but it is an emotion that manifests when it wishes to, how it wishes to and it pays no heed to the barriers others would wish to put on it. I would prefer love to remain mysterious, it retains much more of it's magic if left to be magical.

Kenneth seemed to be calculating something- thinking, pondering. There would be no more amusing thing to do than to trust her- the monotony of life had been wearing on him, in recent weeks. His sword dropped to the side as she continued to play the role of the seductress. With a quick movement she moved, hitting his sword into the water. He remained emotionless, hopeing that he would not have to kill the guardian. She lept with clear extraordinary agility into the air- but midjump transformed into a large feline, something quite fearsome indeed. She was aiming for his neck, but he took both of his hands and slammed them, open palmed, into her chest, knocking the breath out of her with his force- her large paws, armed with claws that you would not want to mess with, barely missed ripping through the lightly armored clothing and the neck behind it. Somewhat unnerved, she fell infront of him, regaining her breathe and senses quickly enough- but he had enough time to make a sprint twards the pool and his weapon. Reaching into it, he grabbed his sword and pulled out his hand quickly- a mix of irritation and pain ripping upwards from it. She was good. That was holy water. That normally would have ripped a demon apart, but he had previous exposure to it and had built up a small, pitiful tolerance- but, it was pretty good for someone of the dark. Turning around he was just in time to watch her leap- this time, with much more speed. Sorely underestimating her suprising gain in speed, he barely managed to keep a good precentage of his chest this time. This was not a normal guardian, but he still couldn't go on the offensive. Sword in hand, he begin to defend himself as much as he could, focusing on parrying and dodgeing to getting hits in.

Kenneth walked through the forest, sword resting on his shoulder as usual. Silently he avoided causing damage to the woods around him, just out of respect for the spectator that was definately somewhere in the foliage ahead of him. It was more than likely some form of guardian, hopefully a benevolent one- one that wouldn't attack a wanderer. He was careful to not damage the plantlife beyond what was needed to walk- he had not even the few minutes he guessed it would take him to defeat the guardian to spare. He became amused as his ears picked up the guardians movements. He could not see mainly because he was letting his hair casually drape around him- he was that self confident, even with his reputation and pages in history. He stopped walking suddenly and sat down, taking out a small flask of strong alcohol. He started to drink, trying to milk an appearance out of the guardian- just for causal amusement, he hadn't had an expierence with one of such position in a long time. Silently, he waited- and finally, it took the bait. Out of the trees lept the guardian, Kenneth arrogantly not even looking up. He took one last drink of his alcohol before secureing the top of the flask, placing it back onto his belt. He stood and cracked his neck, followed by his knuckles. "Are we going to fight, talk, or stand silently?" He said, finally glanceing up..

"Damn.." That was about all Ensis could say as he looked over Kaze's injuries, a nervous look on his face. Elda was worried and shocked at the same time. Ensis glanced to her and then up to a few of the men around him. "Do not move him, it might worsen his injuries!" Ensis stood and whipped his hand upward, a small gust of wind eminating outwards from him. Murmering something under his breath repeatididly, the glow in his gray eyes intensified. A white mist formed directly about Kaze, with each of his breaths it went into his system more. Nothing happened immediately, and a few people looked confused at that. Ensis cracked his neck and noticed their strange glances. "This isn't normal damage. He has lost too much blood for a quick fix to work. I'll seal up his wounds now, that first spell should help his system recooperate from that blood loss faster- we should have him up and running sometime soon." He placed two fingers on Kaze's forehead and began to murmer again, a bright light eminating from where Ensis' fingers and his forehead met. A small drop of blood formed on Ensis arm- it slowly rolled down the skin intill it slid into the light. It slowly faded, and as soon as it did, Ensis stood. "Damn. There are too many wounds for it to be instantatious. I apologize, but the manner the wounds were inflicted are slowing my spells down. For now it can only stop the bleeding. It is safe to move him into his quarters, he will definately be needing the rest." Ensis stepped back, but he was no longer on board of the ship. Glancing around him, he found himself lost in a mist- solid ground underneath his feet, but definately not wood. There were buildings off in the background- ruined, destroyed.. His eyebrows narrowed as voices enchanted around him- angry ones, sad ones, ones seeming to be nostalgic. They were all talking at once, so he was unable to pick up on a thing they said. It was spiritual- he could tell, he had expierence with these feelings. A unknown species of person approached him, a young man with wings that looked as if at one time they had been brilliant- the landscape around him disappeared and it was him on the boat, the young man at the end of the ship, mist encrouching around the entire vessel. Kaze could sense this presence but could not dismiss it- it was too powerful and full of animosity. "Who are you?" Ensis said. To the people around him he was speaking to air, but the distinct glow in his eyes drove them away from thinking he was mad- he was a diviner of some sort, that was obvious. "I am Rii'an. I have come here to bring you the horrible news that your trip to Ma'Uriith is ill-fated. All of you are marked as dead, as are the rest of the people in this world." The voice by him only, and he was confused- Rii'an. That seemed vaguely familiar, yet.. "A long time ago the two nations that exist now formed an alliance against my people. Out of envy they attacked and killed everyone but me- leaving me alone with my destroyed civilization, murdered subjects. No one was left. I have waited for centuries to do to Ii?Kaer and Maurii as they did to everything that I knew.. Your friend, Kaze is just a small pretext to what my revenge will do to all of your friends. I bid you farewell now, diviner." Snapping back into reality, Ensis eyes closed and he muttered something inaudbile- rest assured, it was a curse word. "This is much worse that I could ever imagine.." He said, turning and looking at Kaze, "This is beyond any of us.."

Name: Kenneth Ul'sirusal Age: Quite unknown. Species: Asura Calling: Nefarious Swordsmen. Physical characteristics/Appearance: Picture. Picture 2. Biography: Rumors abound of this man, one who kills without reason, mercy or hesistation. Dark, light or otherwise there is a long list of 'incidents' of mass slaughter that have his name on it. An enemy of several Gods in a literal sense, his footsteps bring an eerie calm to the surronding area.. Kenneth seems to first step into written records 1,872 years ago, as a wanderer who assassainted a powerful, well liked elven sorceress for money- a move that shocked many people back then. How could an Asura have done something of that sort without notice? None other before had done it, how could he have slid under the scope? The answer was never found. Over the years he has shed the blood of those that were innocent, those that were wanted and those that just got in his way. Whole towns, at times, disappeared- the remainder being a literal rainfall of blood from the heavens. He got his pay, and once again moved on- to better, more lucrative contracts wherever they might be and whomever they might leave in pieces. But, a couple of months ago he disappeared from veiw completely. Intially, this caused great alarm- it was overtly suspicious that this, a denizen of the shadows, would suddenly disappear. After a few silent weeks, the suspicious lingered, deep within their minds. The shadows remain in an uneasy silence, unconfirmed sightings abounding in several places.. What is he doing? Random fact: He enjoys good food.

Well, you never know what will become an antique. It's suprising the kind of crap people will buy from years back. At the least, they are very cute. ;P

My mom and I went around town getting them, lol. We still have them somewhere, I believe. I'm going to be a happy man in 2008.

I have dozens, literally. My mom and I were into it heavily, suprisingly enough. [*Gasps of shock inserted here*] I have a couple cratefulls, heh. They are pretty cute. Too bad there isn't a DeathKnight one, eh? That would be worth the most mula. ^_~

The full affects of the intial 'bang' wore off finally- but Ensis wasn't thinking about that. He had heard of this ship only by rumor, idle whispering in the backalleys- but it had been hard to believe. Ensis steadied himself on his staff and walked over to the railing that surronded the deck. He leaned over substantially- startling a couple of nearby crewmembers at what seemed to be radical stupidity. Leaning back, he sighed- refreshed, it seemed. "This is wonderful!" Elda said, beaming brightly. Ensis was glad she had woken up that morning quite refreshed- in mind and body. For him, last night he himself had gathered many of the local spirits together last night to tell of his plan of travelling to Ma'Uriith. They were relieved and thanked him, wishing him a fair travel. Even now, a few of them were around the ship, bidding him adieu. No one else noticed, so he just winked sometimes out into the sky- it was like a good inside joke only you and your best friend knew. But, they finally departed for wherever their homes lie. It was a good farewell, but he was not sure that he would ever be returning- specifically as a live person. But, there was no need to begin running through nervous scenarios in his mind. Ensis needed someway to thank Kan- even if his ear drums had nearly been destroyed and he had been treated like a butler in his own home. This was still a huge favor and he had to offer Kan something in return. All he could think of, was... Ensis began to speak, "Kan, I would like to thank you for letting us travel on this magnificent ship of yours," he turned, looking at him, "If you need some help that you think I can do, i'd be more than happy to help out."

Stereotypes have a basis. People just take them too far- labelling people without just cause. So, like anything else, when people abuse it/misuse it/take it too far it ends up turning into a negetive thing. If you want to continue stereotyping stereotypes than be my guest. You'll just be another idiot waving the same flag that's been waved by so many other pseudo-intellectuals.
-
Did you just generalize generalizations? Anyway, I think the stereotype for prep has bloated itself a bit too much over the past few years. Most of the people called "prep" now are just popular kids- maybe a bit preppy, but not the full, old meaning of it. Honestly? I don't really hate the somewhat preppy or rare real preps. They can wear a bit on your nerves, but they are just another social order from yours- no reason to dislike them for that. Stereotypes [sometimes, definately not all the time] can be there for a reason- the problem begins when you start judging people without taking time to learn about them first- lazily slapping them into a stereotype just because they seem to intially fit it. That is where it begins to be a 'bad' thing. So it is not the stereotypes fault- it is peoples, lol.
-
I hope it isn't. I have to drink diet softdrinks because I am a pre-diabetic. That would be quite an ironic situation- you drink diet soda to avoid progressing your diabetes to a worse state and end up with cancer, lol.

Ensis blinked and glanced to Elda- who was still shaken up from Beau. He walked into the kitchen, coming back a few moments later with two cups of tea. He handed her a cup and then sat down on the guest bed, sipping it. "Hey, I am-" She shook her head, not wanting to think or talk about it further. Ensis sipped his tea again, deciding to change the subject. The only one he could think of was that man that had stormed into his home.. Something dawned on him suddenly as he put several pieces of the puzzle together at once. "Wait, I think I know who that man was. Kaze was speaking about someone named Kan who, apparently, had quite an.. interesting ship at his command. He seemed fond of Kaze. What do you think, Elda? It would avoid the trouble of a long travel south." She composed herself a bit, sipping her own tea before speaking, "Yes. That is a good idea. He seems like a gentleman." He grinned, "If you say so. Then we should prepare to depart tomorrow.." Ensis eye twinkled a bit as he thought- "The ship can travel over land obviously. I hope we get to see it fly.. that would prove to be a highlight of this forsaken week." He stood and finished up his tea. "I will go begin my preparations." He smiled at her and walked out of the guest room, humming an old song to himself. He paused for a moment to work out all he needed to bring in his mind- it was a long list, the majority of which included medicine. He began to make his way around the house, collecting the various odds and ends.

The first thing that should be said is that Nu-Metal is ****. It should be said is that SoAD is good- for the genre. On the entire spectrum of metal, they are crap compared to other bands. I should probably not go into detail since the usual self righteous defenders of the band will come with useless facts to try to make me see SoAD as gods. But you have to like the Legend of Zelda song.
