1.
I sure hope so.... EEP I'm totally joking!! Guess it's not really obvious on the computer. But seriously, False. TPBM likes Fudgcicles.
They're alright. Gee, you two should get a room....or talk on AIM. ^J^ tpbm's favorite food is chinese.
 2.
False! I loathed Barney. I was more into Sesame Street and Sailor Moon ^_^ TPBM wants to kick me in the shins. EDIT: Sojiro: False, I am Katana Violet!
Depends on if you like getting kicked in the shins. ::wink:: tpbm loves Scrubs.
 3. I was looking for Dragon Ball Z pictures to draw via google. I happened across this site somehow and over time i grew to love it. I've been through a lot because of this site. And now i mostly just post on the message boards. I plan to stick around for quite a long time. ^J^
 4. I'm a collector with trader tendencies. Truly it depends on the game. If it were a game like the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, then there is no way in hell i'd trade it. But if it were Chester cheetah....actually that's a bad example, i like that game. ^L^; Uhhhmmm.....Batman and Robin for the snes, then i wouldn't mind trading that in for something else. Chester Cheetah! Later.
 5. I listen to emo music every now and then, it's alright. It's not my prefered genre of music, but i still like some of it. I kinda like the emo look, but not always. I think the hair over the eyes is lame. Like the singer in AFI, eww. As far as the people go....::shrug:: I guess i'm fine with them if they're emo because they're actually emo. But if they're just following a fad, then they're totally lame. Why be sad when you can be glad? Yeah....i said it. Later.
 6.
my brother's initials are AMV... i know how to make him, but i don't want to think about it... ughhhh! *shiver*
Haha, nice. One time i downloaded a chobits amv off of limewire by accident and ended up getting some funky music video with some explicit chobits scenes.....Yeah, so that turned me off of amvs for a while. Besides that i don't know anything about them. I checked for the windows movie maker, fasterblah, but i couldn't find it. I do have xp. OH well.... Later.
 7. Real Name: Jake Logic Age: 23 Delta Name: Aleran Delta Age: 28 Team Name: Alpha Delta Beta Class: Warrior Player Rank: Weapon: Lance Personality: Aleran?s appearance is that of the knight in shining armor, the sort of guy that women swoon over. Unfortunately his personality does not portray that. Instead he is a sort of goofball, always ready to ruin the moment with a joke. When he is nervous or uncomfortable he tries to lighten things up with another joke, it?s a sort of defense mechanism. Although he seems like a blundering idiot on the outside he actually has a deeper side about him that he rarely reveals to anybody because he fears rejection. Regrettably he doesn?t realize his current personality is not helping him avoid his fear. He does not fight as you might expect a man with armor and a lance to. He is fairly fast and defensive, he dodges most attacks and often times runs from battle. Most of the time it takes one of his team mates to be in mortal danger before he offensively wields his lance. Of course at that point the enemy is usually weakened enough to be taken down easily, that or the enemy has simply forgotten about Aleran and is taken by surprise. When in town he loves to drink and party. Never has he been to a town and not left it without getting totally wasted at least once. In the early morning you can probably find him somewhere passed out in his room. Abilities: Quick Attack ? while dodging most every attack Aleran might see a moment to take advantage of his enemies dropped guard with a quick attack. The attack does not do much damage but is also nearly unavoidable. Picture:
 8. If i had to be one i'd choose to be a pirate. Those guys wallow in sin and it's glorious. They get drunk all the time, they go on swashbuckling adventures, and have sex with lots of women! Uhm, those are bad things, but hey if i were a pirate i wouldn't care. A ninja just kills people in stealth...sounds fun but only for a while.
It is a very close call. Both have their good and bad points, but I'd have to say Pirate. First, a girl pirate is very sexy. At least they can look sexy as opposed to dressing in all black as to not be seen. I like to be in the spotlight. Also, I don't have the patience to be a ninja. All that 'waiting in the shadows' stuff would kill me. Lastly, ninjas don't get laid. They don't have the time, and can't because they have to be so secritive. So yeah.... Pirate definitly.
Here here!! Later. ^L^
 9.
Um... Mommy, Your Mouse Ate Linquini In Kara's Equestrian Shoes Undead! Wow that was ingenious. I'm proud. :catgirl: I also missed the E but i fixed it. :animeswea Next acronym: MSIVEQ
Haha, the end of your sentence doesn't really make any sense. Mario said i vigorously eat quail. Yum...quail.... SYOKDDFS ^J^
 10.
A person's gut can be wrong, but I guess that's part of the reason why you call it a gut. :3 The whole nature vs. nuture thing is a good thing to bring up, but I also have varying disagreements with environments shaping everything about a person. It's just my belief that people will always carry some amount of birth-given qualities. Now the degrees in which said qualities will differ according to what kind of environment you live in, but it'll always exist. Everything I just said is an opinion, though it be a strong one. I guess this is where one of our greatest disagreements lay (or is it lie...? I suck at grammar >_>).
Sure, people will always have those natural born instincts, but as far as personality goes i believe it's shaped entirely on a person's environment. A person is born without any memories or any real thoughts. As the person grows up he becomes smarter and starts to grow a personality. That personality is shaped by his/her environment. But it is opinion, and that's mine. It's cool if you partly disagree.
I don't really know much about North Korea to be comparing it to a novel like 1984... I also don't know how many people are aware of their oppression. Heck, we right now in America could be oppressed and we'd go on living our whole lives thinking we weren't. I can't be the real judge of how the people in North Korea take in their surroundings, but I just think otherwise from you.
1984 is actually a really good book. I enjoyed it and i highly recommend it. Pick it up sometime. Well, there is one sure fire way to tell how good or bad we have it, and that's to go see how other people in the world have it. We have that option, the North Koreans do not.
Ignore? No. But I don't see the point in parading in front of everyon e that you are, indeed, a South Korean rather than a North Korean. I guess the point I'm trying to get across is too large, seeing as I'm being too idealistic. I'd rather have it so that no one in the US would freak about anyone being from North Korea and accept the fact that they're not all evil or anything.
I don't parade it, neither have i suggested that you should. I'm simply saying that you should make it known when the subject somes up. I'd say the main reason somebody would freak out if somebody was from North Korea or not is because North Koreans are not allowed to leave their country.
I just think it's sort of lame that we're so adament about distinguishing ourselves. I'd rather have Korea be one big country, not separated. I mean... we separated approximately 50 years ago after being unified for centuries. I mean, what heritage are you talking about? When we talk about Korean heritage we draw from roots so far back that it applies to both countries. If we're talking just South Korean heritage and culture, there isn't much to add, other than our obsession with superficiality.
Well when i said heritage i was just talking about general terms. A black person should be proud to be black, i should be proud to be South Korean and you should be too. Korea, North Korea, and South Korea are 3 totally different countries. What used to be in North Korea has changed a lot since the communist party took over. I can be proud that my heritage leads back to South Korea and then Korea, but not North Korea. How on earth are we being superficial by taking note of our fellow man's differences? Would you rather us all be the same?
 11. I saw a couple of you guys really like guitar hero, which is cool. Though i've never played the game i'd really love to. I'd like to imagine i'd be a natural at it since i love to play my guitar so much. That's one of the things i spend a lot of time with, my guitar. I'm actually looking into buying a new one. I've had the one i have now for a couple years and am ready to move on to bigger and better things. I always love a good game of Halo 2 on xbox live. If anybody ever wants to play me, my gamertag is Attimus331. Though if you do decide to challenge me then i'd appreciate it if you let me know on otaku first since my brother plays it a lot more than i do. Oh, and don't expect to beat me, for i am a halo god! ::cackles:: Of course i love anime and all of those great things. And i like to hang out with friends and whatnot.... Oh, i also love getting in debates over politics or philosophy. Really, anything i have an opinion in i'd love to meet somebody with the opposite opinion. And i like math. ^L^ Later.
 12. Very true. The person below me has a ***** cat. Omigosh i can't say pu$$y! I didn't say it in a negative context! Gawsh...
 13.
No, I'm basing this on my gut, and I happen to think my gut is right. It's my strong belief that many of the people there are just like you and me. They just happen to be under the rule of a cruel dictator.
Sometimes a person's gut is wrong...like it is now for you. Sure, the people may start out as the same as every other person at birth. But i believe a person is shaped by their environment. The environment of a North Korean is much much different than that of one of a South Korean, there's no arguing that.
Ever think about the peasants on the outskirts of the country? The women? The children? There are North Koreans willing to face death in trying to escape from North Korea to China, only to be caught and sent back by the Chinese. Yes, I'm sure they love starving and watching their families die.
I'm sorry, but everybody joins the military regardless of where they live. All males that is. But you knew that, right? And sure, there are some people smart enough to realize that they are being opressed and they attempt to escape, but that number is very small. Ever read the book 1984? I imagine North Korea is a lot like that. People are all brainwashed and have no idea how much better life can be, they all love the government because they can't possibly love anything else.
I am Korean. But if I told you I were from North Korea would you really think different of me? I don't think it matters. I have never in my life ever called myself a South Korean, and I have never seen the need to. The 'categorization' of the communist North Korea forced upon all Korean is nothing, nothing compared to what people from the Middle East has gone through. While we're sitting here bitching about how "we're not the same" in our safe homes because oh no, we are getting categorized, a group of people just died. In any part of the world. We should care about people not because they're of our 'race', but because they're humans. I don't give a crap if you're from North or South Korea, and no one else should either. P.S. In addition to my angry post, to everyone out there: when someone tells you they're Korean, the first thing you ask shouldn't be 'north or south'? First of all, get over it, the North Koreans aren't exactly flocking the US trying to lay out secret plans, and second of all, you annoy the **** out of 90% of the Korean population.
If you told me you were North Korean i'd freak out. I'd say, "how the hell did you escape to America?!", "What was it like in North Korea?", "Are you a ninja?! Cuz i see no other way you could've left North Korea!" My reaction would be along those lines, no joke. And it definitely does matter. It's like the difference between an American and a Cuban, but only barely. So just because there is worse oppression out there in the world we should simply ignore ours? Isn't that a little hypocritical? Why...i think it is!! Omigosh! You can't simply overlook one injustice for another, you must look at them all. I'm not saying North Koreans are worth less as a person than a North Korean, what i'm saying is they are very different from us, the South Koreans. And we should consider ourselves different because we are. What is a society without diversity?? Be proud of your heritage. PS: I don't think people should ask if you're north or south korean either, it should be obvious. If you're a korean in america chances are you're from South Korea.
 14.
Um, what the hell. North Koreans and South Koreans are extremely different? It's not the people in North Korea's fault that they are under the rule of Kim Dong II. Do you think they're happy about starving and love him or something? This the biggest load of BS I've read in a while. Bottom line, the people of the continent of Korea are not very 'different'. North Koreans just happen to be dying because of a disgusting leader. Moreover, I find it sad that you're more concerned about maintaining South Korean 'reputation' than helping your own people.
I'd like to know how you know this. Have you been to North Korea? If so, then i'll take your word for it. If not, and you're just speculating, then i'd like to point out a few things that changes my point of view. North Koreans are forced into joining the military for a certain amount of years after they graduate from high school. In the military i'd imagine it wouldn't take much for a normal North Korean male to be totally brainwashed into thinking that Kim Jong Il is next to God. Have you seen videos of them marching through the streets? It's pretty scary stuff, but to them it's life, it's reality. I personally believe that the North Koreans are very very different from the South Koreans. My mother is South Korean and that's the impression she has of them....but who knows? Maybe you're right and me and my South Korean mother are wrong....::shrug:: You're not South Korean, you don't know what it's like to be catagorized in the same group as a communist North Korean or even Kim Jong Il himself. But then again, i'm just guessing. Maybe you are Korean...::shrug:: Who came up with Kim Dong Il? Is that a joke or do you guys really think it's Kim Dong Il? Later.
 15.
Heck yes, dude. I worked there for over a year and its terrible. Burgers are like crack to some people. But, in all honesty and not to offend anyone, but mostly tight-wads and idiots go there. Honesty hurts. One commercial (I got two, but this is the first) that I love due to its random, funny content. Red Stripe beer. "Would you say you are an ugly man?" "No,I-" "You are are a very ugly man!" Its just so random. And the guy has an awesome island accent. The other is those beef jerky commercials (I forgot what they're called) where the guys pull pranks on bigfoot. Then bigfoot beats the crap out of them. Funny.
Lol, i kinda want to try the beer just because the commercials so d*** funny. Oh crud...the advertising has gotten to me!!! ::melts:: Well, even though advertising is brainwashing us, at least it's entertaining. Have you guys ever seen the phone commercial that has crime deterrent? Later.
 16. I don't mean to be mean but "rediculous" is spelled "ridiculous" . A lot of advertisement bothers me, but i'll only mention one for now. McDonalds. As a nation we (USA) are the fattest in the world. McDonalds makes me angry sometimes. It's really disgusting. It's marketing campaign is mainly planned to get kids addicted to their food at an early age. For Christ's sake, their spokesman is a clown! Then the happy meal has their little plastic toys that kids absolutely must have. And even now McDonalds is taking advantage of the nation's new concern over health by offering "healthy solutions" like f-ing apple sauce instead of fries in happy meals! That's absolutely ridiculous. When i have children of my own i won't let them watch tv for a long time. I also won't let them eat bad food and start bad habits. Eventually though i'll let 'em at it. Of course i say this now, i wonder how i'll feel when i actually have kids. Well, i gotta go, i got a hankerin' for a big mac. Yum.....what?
 17. It wasn't smart for Iraq to get into a war, but it doesn't seem like it was really their choice. If a war were to start, America would most likely be the one to start it. Sure, we would have our justification for it, but it'll be us that makes the first major move towards war, if there were to be one. Nuclear war is a very very scary thing to me. I believe nuclear war will be the end of human civilization as we know it today. As long as the technology exists we are all in danger of extinction. One country makes big weapons, then all the other countries have to make bigger ones to counter act the initial big weapon and so on and so on. It's really idiotic....but i see no other realistic solution. I just got done watching Munich. Every person that the main character killed was simply replaced, often times by worse men. Truly, what is the point of killing? People need to change, not die. Later.
 18. I personally believe everybody needs and desires love. It's just that some people don't realize it or deny it. If you find true love, then you'll be content with even the worst of life's situations. Of course loving is dangerous. If you lose your love then it hurts. But it's just a risk you'll have to take. Try not to stress too much man. You've got plenty of time, i'm assuming, to figure things out. Later.
 19. I personally disagree, i don't think communism was a good idea, even on paper. The thought of having everybody equal is a little ridiculous. It's obvious no matter where you go that people are not equal. It's a simple fact. There will always be janitors and senators. In no way is the janitor as important as the senator. So if the wealth was distributed equally then people with the hardest jobs would have no reason to stick with their job. If wealth were evenly distributed, very few people would be motivated to do anything amazing. I think utopia is only possible in groups of alike people. If everybody in a group were alike then they could easily create a utopia. I think ultimate utopia can only be achieved through many small utopias ruled in different ways. Later.
 20. I blame the parents. Maybe the father of a kid treats his mother like crap so the son decides it's acceptable to do something like that. Or maybe the parents simply do not say anything to the kid and the kid picks up the disrespect from some trash like rap or something on tv. Honestly rap disgusts me. I truly believe it is corrupting our youth. I come across way too many kids on xbox live that are just horrible. They talk ******* that they hear from rap and that's how they act. It greatly frustrates and saddens me. Eh, i just try to stay away from trashy people as much as i can. When i do encounter them....it's not pretty. But i won't say anything about those encounters. Later.
 21. Well, i believe most of what i had to say has already been said. I totally disagree with most of what Farto said. I think it's ridiculous. But everybody's entitled to their own opinion, so it's cool. 1. It's slow because everybody has different opinions and they want ot make sure that the right thing is done. I accept that it's slow because everything has to go through the same process, if not then who'll decide what goes through what process? I can see what you're saying, but i'm totally fine with it. 2. The two parites are just labels, there are many types of democrats and republicans. Just because you're a democrat doesn't mean you support gay marriage. 3. He has power. 4. I love my freedom. I believe they got rid of filibusters, though i'm not sure. Anybody know? Later.
 22. I love free web comics, they're absolutely wand-are-full. So i figured i'd start a super spiffy neato thread about 'em. Hopefully it won't be shot down before it even gets started. I just want it to be a general discussion of the ones you visit and whatev'. VGcats.com - This is probably the first one i started visiting. It's so awesome. It's basically these cats that spoof off of a bunch of different video games. Any video game loving person will love these comics. Whiteninjacomics.com - This comic is probably the funniest one of 'em all. But they're funny only if you get the humor....which is kinda dumb to say since the humor is so immature and childish. Just promise you give it a chance if you decide to copy and paste it into your browser. And to give it a chance you have to at least read 15 of 'em, it'll only take you 2 minutes. Misfile.com - This one isn't really funny, but it is really great. Probably my favorite one of 'em all. This one has a new one every weekday which is great too. The story is one of a kind and i love it. Butternutsquash.net - The art style in this is great, it's the main reason i like it. Unfortunately they miss updates often and keep delaying new comics, but for all the work they do on it i don't blame them. It is free after all. Stuffsucks.com - This is the newest one i started visiting but i can already tell it'll be awesome. DrMcNinja.com - This stuff is so funny and original, how can you not love it? It's about a doctor ninja!!! OMiGosh!!! Seriously, love it, molest it, have babies with it, you'll be glad you did. That's about all i can think of for now, later.
 23. I would want to have force persuade, like a jedi. Then i could rule the world!!! BWahahahaAhah! Me: Could you get me some purple drink? Other: Get your own damn purple drink! Me: You want to get me some purple drink.... Other: I want to get you some purple drink *purple drink* Me: Killer. See! See how awesome that would be!!!??!?! Later.
 24. I used to think cats would marry dogs and have cat and dog babies. Like a man and woman. Of course the cat was the woman and the dog was the man. When i first learned the truth i was shocked. o_0 SHOCKED! O____O That's all i can think of, later. ^J^
 25. I actually decided to start working out again partly due to this thread. The other part being i'm a lazy bum when i'm not forced to do anything and that gets to me a little after a while. So my question is, how do you run? What's the proper form to run? My calculus teacher was also the track coach and he would often say people have horrible form when it comes to running and that it's very difficult to run in correct form. Any advice would be great. ^L^
