Originally posted by James Are you serious? I think you've been hoodwinked. lol If it were a pastamaker, it'd have no "water meter" on the top right screen. Also, why would the game be titled "Mario Sunshine" if pasta had something to do with it? lol Hmm...either this is a joke...or a misunderstanding. Either that, or it is infact real...and if that's the case, I wonder why Nintendo has failed to announce such a major development thusfar.
You ARE correct. It is a water meter. . a water meter for what you ask? To maintain the moisture of the pasta. Have you ever made pasta James? You have to keep the dough moist, or it will dry out, and the recipe could be ruined. Mario Sunshine is actually the name of his pasta shops, and thus, also the title of the game. ^_^ Does that clarify any? Hope so~

Well, all games get boring, and even Zelda games fit into that catergory. I don't think there are very many games that I have played to death. Goldeneye: 007 was the first I killed Super Smash Brothers would be number 2 Super Smash Brothers: Melee would fall in a distant 3rd. Just never got played a lot =( But honestly, in RPGs (ok, action/adventure/rpg), it is hard to find one that you can pick up and play any time. Zelda however is a game that I can repeatedly pick up and find it instantly fun, if not even a touch of a challenge ^_^ Love it~ P.S. About my nice avatar. . it will have to wait till I can get it off my other computer ^_^ sorry~ but it is nice. . simple, but nice

I liked Akira immensly. It was one of the first animes that I ever saw, so at first it took me by surprise. . but after that, I was sorta like - WOW. I got the special edition DVD a few months ago, and watched it non-stop for the next few nights (worked till 12am then would put it in and re-watch it over and over till I fell asleep, rinse, repeat). I thought the action on the movie was really good, and the colors and voice overs were also very well done. All in all, this may not be the BEST one out there, but it sure is by far the one that raised and set the bar for all others to 'try' and follow behind. ^_^

Gotcha. . I work just the opposite sometimes though. . . I always think of the idea of what the character is going to be like, then go from there. Of course, like I said, my talent for drawing is something to be desired, and stuff just appears on paper (poorly at that), but what are you going to do? I just keep on drawing ^_^ go me! And ya. . . I hate my scanner. It takes like three hours to scan, and then I find out that it scanned wrong. My dad's is pretty ok, and that is what I use most of the time. That, and besides the fact that MY scanner's disks are missing. . >_<

I thought they had a little insert in the DVD that DID in fact say that G-Savior was set in an alternate universe. . Hmmm. . since I don't have the DVD here, I will just assume that it was Gundam Wing that was set in a different universe. LOL, I love arguing with myself. Oh well, just my opinion on the movie, they tried too hard with poor actors to make a good storyline for the movie. . it just fell through. The fighting wasn't THAT bad though, but I suppose it could have been a bit better =P Oh well, not making much sense here. . *shuts up*

Not too bad of a drawing. . I am still working on getting the 3-D look on my characters. . hard habit to break with them just sitting there with that stupid blank look on their faces. . *waves fist* Stupid blank faces. . I'll get you yet!! Oh, sorry. .anyways, nice drawing, have details on what his personality is like or anything? Strong silent type? =) Oh well, getting the ball rolling I suppose =P

I try to keep an eye out in magazines, gaming magazines, and tv (even in stores and talking to friends) for any RPGs that are coming out. I usually try to get a bit of info on the games before just going out and buying, or even renting one. When the game comes out, if I want it, I will have it ^_^ . . well. . .depending on if I am broke or not =P Oh well. . Evergrace isn't too bad of a game btw :D

I am a big fan of Suikoden. My friend got the first one when we were in college last year, and we started playing, and thus, became hooked. After beating the game (in like 8 hours), we came back and started again trying to find all the characters. While searching the net to find how to position the characters and locations of others, we found that there was a second one out. Well, we went out and got that one too. . . Played it, beat it fast, then tried again to get all the characters and secrets. WOW, was the second one ten times better or what? Everything about it blew me away, and I couldn't stop playing for weeks to come. Of course, it got old after a while, and I never was really challenged in the game. Perhaps they will make the game a bit longer in Suikoden 3, add MUCH more challenging enemies, and . . well, I suppose those were my only complaints. . . ^_^ Rock on~

Ok, I searched around, emailed a few people at Nintendo, Nintendo Power, IGN, and other great places to find out info. . this is what I found out about his 'mysterious pack' --WARNING-- Only read if you REALLY want to know. . --LAST CHANCE-- Do NOT read on if you don't want to know. . --POINT OF NO RETURN-- Sorry. . too late now. . It is a pasta maker ^_^ He keeps only the freshest ingredients in there. He plays a plumber turned cook in this game, and that instrument helps him deliver the best noodles and pasta ever tasted to all the people in the Mushroom Kingdom. But Bowser is a bit upset that he is doing so well, and his own pasta places are doing very bad. He doesn't kidnap the Princess in this one, but he steals Mario's secret recipe, and he has to go and get it back. He has to solve puzzles and defeat bosses all throughout the game in order to finally get to Bowser's Pasta Palace, the first in a line of stringy disgusting pasta houses opened by Bowser and his henchmen. Does that help everyone? *bows*

I feel somewhat stupid at the moment. . I can not think of any of the names of the moves >_< And my good wrestling friends (the ones who watch it religiously) are no where in site. . .*sniff* I used to be such a HUGE fan of wrestling, but when it got to the point of being able to predict the moves and who would win the fights, I stopped watching =/ Now I will watch it with my friends if nothing else is going on, or I am not busy with other things. I really enjoy watching wild jump moves. I believe the Hardy Boys are the two punk looking guys that love aireal moves? If those are the right guys, then I enjoy watching them most ^_^ Like I said, I feel stupid for not knowing the names or moves. . but I am a bit sleep deprived (ya, they bought that. . [Wait, can they hear me?{Play it off like they can't!!}]) ---This message has been cut off for the safety of everyone reading--- :P

Hehe, I remember when I first saw this. It was some time ago, and I was showing it to one of my friends. She got a pretty big kick out of it. Now, while I can't say this applies to all of the women I know. . it DOES work for a good majority of the ones I hang out with :naughty: . . or even talk to online *cough*

I loved the few episodes that they aired on FOX. It was the first time I ever even heard of it, and WOW, was I impressed. I have wasted time in NOT getting the series on DVD, but I will definitely make that my next anime series to get ^_^ I am also looking forward to seeing it un-edited

I wish I could have gotten the figures when I had a chance. I missed out cause I was jobless and broke >_< As usual. . blah! I am sure they will come out with more, but even if they don't, at least it is not that much of a loss from my stand point. I have way too many toys already ^_^

I will be in line waiting for the game. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Zelda ever since picking it up for the first time. I have played every game that has come out in America and will continue to do so. Nintendo fanboy? Sure. . whatever you want to call me. I love Zelda series, and Link is my boy! (If you couldn't tell by my avatar. Can't wait till 500 posts though. . got a nice one I am working on ^_^ Anyways, kiddie graphics or not, this game looks sweet. I will get it, and I know that I will hook my friends on it, just like I did with my Nintendo64 version of the game =) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is the all time greatest (sorry . . had to say it). . *runs away* =P

LOL, I guess this topic was getting a bit heated. Anyways, I think a DBZ game with a SSB:M engine would be pretty sweet. The only reason I don't see it working is because all of the characters are basically the same. Plus, there is flight to deal with (though I am sure it could be handled easily enough with enough planning). I won't even touch the comments on which system is better. . Anyways, for the DBZ game, perhaps an unlockable Goku would be in there? He is pint sized, has that magical extending stick (. . sicko), and perhaps even Nimbus? That said: A - Swings his weapon (Of course, the directions come into play to decide how and where he attacks) Holding A - Smash attack. --Forward and A - Dragon Punch --Down and A - results in a small jump, shaking the ground --Up and A - results in a high jump, and comes down at an angle kicking. B - The pole extends maybe about twice the size, causing some decent damage to those in front of him. Up + B - Nimbus comes and picks him up just a bit (his last resort jump) Down +B - He gets in a fighting stance, and after a few seconds, releases a Kamehameha. A decent sized blast that flies across the screen. Obviously weaker then Adult Goku's blast, but perhaps this one is a longer range. Hitting Z - Charges up your Ki shield. It slowly wears out after tapping Z, but you take less damage then if you never used it at all. It would of course become second hand to just tap that every five seconds when you play. R and L - Powered up Ki shield. Obviously drops when you let go, but will protect you from a lot of damage. --R and L also serve as a grapple. Get up close and tap it. Pressing A while grappling results in the extender pole knocking the enemy away, direction depending on what way you hit. --Pressing B while grappling causes a Ki blast to knock them away. The longer you hold, the more powerful. Oh well. . just my first attempt. Perhaps I will post another, but I am rather tired 0.0 Let me know what you think.

Krillen, taking an outside view on the whole rating thing, people are entitled to choose whatever rating they deem your picture as. Who are they to give it a 1? - a critic, with their own ideals and opinions. Just take the 1's with the 10's. It really comes down to what you think of your own drawings. I am teaching myself to draw, and really only doing it for myself. Ok, back to my normal self now ^_^ I like the Goku/Vegeta drawing. Even in pen, they have a good amount of detail, and it really isn't too bad of a picture. It is still way above anything I could do. Like everyone else has said, your Gohan picture is really good, and you should be really proud of that one. P.S. - Blanko, your picture is pretty cool too. With color, that would make a pretty sweet background picture for your desktop.

LOL, ok, I kind of remember why I had those nightmares. . Ok, this is like - tenish maybe more years ago. Arachnaphobia came out on VHS. My mom rented the movie and allowed us kids to watch it. Well, that was a huge mistake for how old I was ^_^ My parents were always pretty strict about what we were allowed to watch, and what we were not. I think this was one of the worst I had seen in quite some time, and wow, did it stick with me. Anyways, I think the small thing that was chasing everyone was the big spider in the movie >_< Too bad I don't have nightmares anymore. . though mine were never as bad as I know some peoples are, they sometimes help me to remember that I have a dark side. . . . Hmmmm. . that being said, maybe that is why I have not had one. . I forgot how to be mean =( Wierd you say? I know, and agree =P

I am very saddened to hear such news outlawstar_14. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers, along with the rest of your family, especially your Grandmother. My own Grandmother has gone through some stuff lately with losses of her friends and family (none too close that I would know though, but still I can imagine her pain). I just hope that your family will be able to work through these difficult times =(

First thing you have to realize, is that this game appears to be very different from the GTA series. It is level based, and yes, while GTA has different 'levels' you have to beat, I see State of Emergency as being very different in that aspect as well. I have not heard too much on what the game is about - besides the fact that you are rioting because some corporation has taken control of your city - and all that. . but I am VERY excited to see what they have planned for this game. As usual, the graphics are not really eye-popping, but are good enough to get the message across. This game is about having fun. I hope it will be a great game.

I don't know, I never really got into Lunar. I started playing, but it was just way too slow of a game for me, and I found myself getting tired of it fairly easy. I suppose I would play it if it came to GBA, but I don't see myself waisting time to try and get it for Playstation from my friend again. Just my thoughts~ Honestly, I am waiting quite eagerly for Xenosaga. . if you can wait. . wait for that game =)

Honestly, with Nintendo pushing back a lot of it's titles (not the Nintendo, but the game companies making game for the system), I don't see the next Mario coming out till at earliest the first quarter of 2003. That is for the American version to come out. . and I would venture to say the same for Zelda. I am just glad that both are Nintendo titles, and are sure to have the most packed into it ^_^

I have not had Nightmares in a VERY long time. . but when I had them, WOW, were they wierd ^_^ The strangest, I suppose, would be an old re-curring Nightmare where I was stuck on a boat with a bunch of people, and this little monster or something kept sneaking around and killing people. Basically your normal movie cliche' How boring, right? ^_^
-
Well, guess I will play along too. . Real Name - Aaron Age - 20 (Feb 23 is my 21st. . ummm, yea!?) Sex - Male Grade - :rotflmao: Not telling you! Location - Franklin, TN (How I miss Michigan >_

Hmmm, there are MANY things that make me different then other people (at least people around me). I have a VERY wierd sense of humor. I laugh at almost everything. I find that there is humor in everything. I make fun of myself more then anyone. I suppose it started with a self - concious issue, but I am sorta growing out of that as of lately. I will just call it a phase. Lets see. . what else? Well, I have watched so many movies, that I can look at a still shot and call it. I know, that really isn't much, but I am proud of that fact. I am also really good at being able to name actors and actresses both from movies and tv. I am a very good driver *cough* but I have a bad case of road rage. No, I will not hunt people down and try to drive them off the road, I am too nice for that ^_^ What I mean, is that I will scream my head off at people that upset me as I drive around on the road. I know that really isn't anything special either, but some of those quirks that make me. . well, ME. What else. . I am annoyingly nice (as I have been told many, many times) I just forgot how to be mean I suppose. I don't like to bad mouth people, and really don't see why I should (oh, if you read my last paragraph, driving is my 'get away' so I let myself go wild there). Hmmmm, can't think of anything else, sorry ^_^

Lets see. . First - Aaron Middle - Michael Last - Ciesliga (don't try to pronounce it) Oh, and I don't really care who knows it. . just putting it out there to build my explination. Ok, now, while I don't hate Aaron in the least, everyone knows it is close to the girls name of Erin. While I don't care in the least, I realized something about my screen name a while back. Noryko is close to the Japanese name of Noriko, a girls name. Or Nuriko, which I read in the anime section - another girls name. I guess it was a big coincidence, but that sort of got me. . . either I have really poor taste in names, or I am really good at picking names that go with either sex. While Norkyo isn't really a guys name, I suppose I made it one by calling myself that. . yeah. If I could though, I suppose that I would have liked my name to be Michael Aaron Ciesliga (MAC, hahaha), but there is really no reasoning behind that. I like myself, and my names (both screen names and real life names alike) very much, and wouldn't change either ^_^ As for Angelcry. . it just sounds really awesome. Like the sound of a fallen angel.
