1. Domon, Havoc is training alone. As in, by himself. I think you should fix your post up. And try to keep true to other characters personas--Demos isn't exactly friendly towards newbies. --------- Reverb sat in the Memory Archives, searching for information on the reploid called 'Light'. He typed in the word, and waited. Sadly, after a few seconds of data retrieval, nothing came through. He frowned, and broadened his search. Instead of searching solely for 'Reploid Callsigns', he did a single-term search on the word 'Light'. He waited, and a few results came through. There were three results on screen. Reverb quickly skimmed over all of them. Lightning Buster, MK I; Sub-Light drive; Light, Dr Thomas Xaiver... Reverb rubbed his chin and reviewed the third listing. It appeared on screen. "Dr Thomas Xaiver Light, creator of the first true-AI robot, and founding father of the X series of Reploids. Dr Light has created numerous robots, among of which are the fabled Mega Man (Rock), Roll, Protoman (Blues), Warlock, and Mega Man X."... Reverb stopped reading for a moment. Warlock? The name seemed familiar. He looked down, and found an image. There in the image stood Dr Light, with Rock and Roll on either side of him. Protoman stood off to the left, with Auto, Rush, Beat and Eddie in the background. Reverb smiled. They looked happy. Suddenly, his eyes caught glint of something... In the back of the photo, a half finished robot lay dormant on a bench. Reverb enhanced the picture and his optic sensors, zooming in on the robot's face. Using a colour enhancer, he added colour to the monochromatic picture. There he was. The Red and Black Reploid he had encountered on the mission. It was him without a doubt. He could tell just by the eyes. They were the same eyes. He knew it. He hovered the cursor just over the image. A message appeared beneath it... "'Warlock', believed to be the prototype for the Reploid series. Survived the cataclysm, and served as a Maverick Hunter Eliter for a number of years..." It went on, but Reverb didn't bother to read it. He'd seen enough. As he stood up, he turned sharply and was knocked to the ground by a tall Reploid, armoured in black, white markings all along his arms. Reverb stood up, awed by the black reploid's sheer physical power, not to mention the symbols on his arms. Nova: New guy on the squad, right? Reverb: Yeah, we talked on the APC. Nova: I don't think I properly introduced myself. Nova. Pleased to meet you... Reverb, right?
2.
Originally posted by Break Silly.. what's wrong with them? :p
Exactly, right now it looks like the only think I'm going to enjoy about the game..
3.
Originally posted by Break O_O Didn't Geri Halliwell sing that..?
Nah, she just covered it off these two woman who did it in the seventies or something.
4. The APC lifted off, and headed back towards Hunter HQ. All the Hunters sat quietly in their seats as they skimmed over the city. What a pointless mission, thought Demos. There were less than a handful of survivors, none of which could remember anything about the attack. Their search had been purely in vain. Demos scowled and looked at a radar monitor in front of him. There was a small blue blip on it, representing a Maverick Hunter. Demos zoomed in on the subject. Inside a Coffee house. Demos rolled his eyes. Reverb: What do we do now? Demos: We go back to base and wait for another mission. Same old, same old. Reverb: I see. Demos: But apparently... As Demos raises his voice, he opens a full-volume communication link to Xion, the hunter at the cafe. Demos: ...some of us think we can take time off without authorising it! Xion practically fell sideways as the massive blast of sound ruptured his hearing system. Alpha reached Hunter HQ. The large doors leading to the Transport Hub opened, and the APC began to descent to the subterranean garage. It touched down, and opened up, the Elite squadron exiting. Everyone was tired. It had been a greuling search with slim benefits. They all made their way back to their respective rooms. It was late. Reploids didn't have to sleep (save Reverb), but most of them did it anyway. Proteus walked back towards room 145. Reverb saw him and caught up. Reverb: Hey. Proteus: Huh? Oh, Hi Reverb. Reverb: You look exhausted. Proteus: It was a pretty tiring search. It's a shame we didn't... find anything. Reverb: Yeah. Proteus looked across at Reverb. There he was, deep in thought, just like Flash used to be. It was startling. Proteus was just shaking it off when Reverb looked up at him, a small smile on his face. Reverb: I know I'm... Well, I know I look just like Flash. Proteus went quiet for a moment. He wasn't quite sure what to say at a time like this. Reverb: I also know... I was activated on the anniversary of his death. Proteus: You're right. It's all a little creepy, isn't it? Reverb: Yeah. But it just makes me want to know about my past even more. Fueling the fire. And what's more, another thing happened on that mission. Proteus: Oh really? What? Reverb: I encountered a Reploid... I think he might have been a Maverick. Proteus was shocked. Proteus: A Maverick?! Why didn't you tell anyone? You could have been killed! Reverb: I don't think he was trying to kill me. He wore Red and Black armour, with a Trenchcoat... And a helmet with an-- Proteus interuppted. Proteus: --Inverted Cross. Reverb: Yeah, that's him. He told me his name was 'Light'. Proteus: Light...? (could it be him?) Reverb nodded. They were outside room 154 now. Reverb: Yeah. I'm going to visit the archives and find out what I can about this Reploid named 'Light', and Flash as well. I'll see you tommorow, Proteus. With that, Reverb walked quickly off, leaving Proteus to ponder alone.
5. Oh! Those people who sung 'It's raining Men'.
6.
Originally posted by Mnemolth Obviously you've never seen Fight Club. :D
] That movie sums me up totally. Fighting is great--The total rush, the adrenaline, the smell, the taste... Sadly, I don't get to fight much, as much as I'd like to. I might start a Fight Club of my own.
7. Faris has been evicted. I'm too lazy for italics and bold and all that. Glad you could join us and all that, don't call us we'll call you. :) Faris, you have one last post in the house. Make it count. :whoops:
8. No, Faris is a chick! Whoever said Faris was a guy is lying to you and should be eated. Polls are closed, Faris is leaving.
9. I didn't used to like Linkin Park, but in recent times I'm starting to pick up some of their old stuff... Quite good, even 'Crawling', which I used to despise...
10. Black Belts score about a perfect zilch on my list. I mean, after the level up, Thiefs (Ninjas) and Fighters (Knights) can cast Low-level Black/White Magic, which is kind of handy, and the Red Mage is always really well rounded. Not to mention Black Mages own everything once they're at Max. level. (Challenge for those who want one--Play a game with 4 Black Mages. Hard at the start, but imagine 4 maxed out wizards with FIR3 and NUKE and XXXX and stuff... Heh heh, well worth it) So yeah. Overall, Fighters are probably the best, in that their high attack from the beginning makes it easier to get them to a high level.
11. I think that just about sums it up.
12. Flash

Megaman Zero

Just raise all your available weapons to high levels by using them alot. I'm sure one Elemental attack works on Anubis, but I can't remember. MMZ is a great game, I played it in Japanese though, so I missed a lot of--if not all of the plot. -.-
13. I just saw the video in question... And quite frankly, I'd much rather see her like that than what she looked like for a long time after that video for that song from Moulin Rouge... Way too much make-up, hairline way back, she looked... Eww. I'd rather her be attractive. I don't care about the music, hah.
14. Here it is. This week, it's a special speed eviction! The polls are only open for 24 hours! Get voting! (yes the speed eviction is a cover-up for me being late)
15.
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy The only things that I probably couldn't live without, other than the basic essentials, are books, writing utensils and paper. As long as I have my wits about me, and a way to transfer my ideas to paper, you can consider me content. I can honestly live without luxuries. Television is the poison of the mind...
I'll agree with that. Just give me some drawing supplies and I'm all set. Oh, and a computer. And an internet connection. ^_^;
16.
Originally posted by Break Yes, a trenchcoat would be very spiffeh indeed. I love them, and I really don't know why. I kinda like the way they flutter behind you when you walk.. ..etc.
*dances because he already has a Trenchcoat* Spiffeh Indeed. For Christmas, all I want is money. Money good for Flash. A Gamecube wouldn't go down too badly though..
17. I'm really smart. Really smart.
18. God. The game was delayed a further three weeks in NZ. I'm sure NeoCactuar will express his rage shortly. Edit: If he wasn't in OBBII :(
19. I like most forms of Electronica. I like Trance, Dance, Hard house and Drum 'n Bass. Of course, everything else is alright too, heh. 'Southern Sun' by Paul Oakenfold is still one of my favourites, along with anything by Concord Dawn or Salmonella Dub.
20. I think a half-human half-reploid would just be a Cyborg.
21. Flash

Weird Al!
Originally posted by Schratn9 Oh my god, the one with all the songs combined into one...That song is hilarious.....
There's more than one, there's three, heh heh. ^_^; Polka your eyes out, Alternative Polka and Polka Power. Not counting Bohemian Polka, which is just one song--Bohemian Rhapsody by queen. It's probably the best though, heh.
22.
Originally posted by Etarah's Maverick Well....actually, she's the only true human, but my guy is half-human. I'm not gonna delve into that until the RPG gets that far to where I reveal WHO my DNA is based on.... you may find it surprising, at any rate. However, if Warlock, Flash, or Medra PM me about it, I will tell them because they're mods. Anywho, I should've put that in my classification...I'll edit it. But he's mostly robot, so that's what I put...sorry. He's only human in that he can reproduce, feel pain(and other such things, like happiness, sadness, heat, cold, and such), and naturally make his own choices.
Well you know, Reploids can feel pain, and make their own choices. Sure, they can't reproduce, but still..
23. As Reverb scoped out the surrounding area, he picked up something very faint on his sensors. He looked around. No-one else had noticed it. Perhaps no-one else had the sensor capabilities to pick up such a minute signal, he thought to himself. Cautiously, he looks around, trying to locate the source of it. It occured again, and his HUD pinpointed the source. Before he tried anything, he looked back to the rest of the group. Demos was with Proteus and Kurt, picking up a piece of rubble off a crushed man. He looked to be alive, but only just. Demos was shouting... Again. Demos: Dammit... First we gotta be CSI. Then we gotta be Detectives. Now we're Medics? I'm gonna grill Signas for this. Reverb looked back to the pinpointed signal, on the rooftop of a fairly high-class apartment block. Cautiously, Reverb armed his Buster, and entered the building. He went around every corner with extensive stealth, pressing his back up against corners and peeking round. Infiltration, he thought to himself. One of the more major aspects of Maverick Hunter training. Once he reached the stairs, he ran. Soon enough, he was on the seventh floor, the highest floor, excluding the roof. Reverb entered the corridoor, taking care as he walked quietly down it, constantly turning his head to make sure no-one was coming up behind him. Finally, he reached the door to room 716. The very faint signal was coming from here. Without thinking, Reverb breathed deeply. This confused him, as he knew as well as anybody that Reploids don't breath. But somehow, it calmed him. With his buster brimming with energy, he swallowed his fear, and kicked the door down, and held his Buster up, pointing it at the signal. There stood a Reploid, about 5'10" suited in Red and Black armour, a faded black trenchcoat left unbuttoned draped over him. The Reploid turned to face Reverb immediately, a sneer on his face. He drew a buster of his own, and took a shot at the rookie hunter. Reverb sidestepped the shot, and launched a counter attack at the Red and Black Reploid. The Reploid replied by shooting his arm up, a long red blade lashed out, blocking Reverbs shot. The Reploid raised his buster, ready to fire, but suddenly stopped. He lowered his weapons and deactivated his Beam Sabre. His black visor slid upwards, revealing eyes full of shock and sorrow. Warlock: Flash? Is that you? Reverb was confused, but kept his Buster pointed straight at the Reploid. Reverb: My name is Reverb, Maverick Hunter Elite... You've mistaken me for someone else. Identify yourself! Warlock: You're really not him... But you look just like... Reverb: I said Identify yourself! Reverbs voice was shaky. This was the first time he'd been in a face-to-face situation with a potential Maverick. And what's more, this Reploid had confused him with someone. What did it all mean? Warlock: Call me... Light. With that, Warlock disappeared, teleporting away. Reverb held two fingers to his temple, activating a direct comm. link to Alpha's CPU. Once connected, he ran a wide-area scan via the cities own radar domes, trying to find the location of the Reploid he had encountered earlier. But all results came up negative. Reverb let his buster form back into a hand, and shakily exited the building. What does all of this mean?!, he thought rapidly, images of the Red and Black reploid racing through his mind. As he left the apartment building, his thoughts were interupted by Demos. Demos: Where'd you get off to? Reverb: I was.. just doing some Recon. Demos: Alright then. We're performing a final sweep of the area. You've got north. I'm taking east, Proteus west, and Kurt south. Got it? Reverb: Right, I got it. Demos: Good. Demos turned to his left, and performed various scanning tasks as he headed East. Reverb looked at a fairly small street leading to a mountain in front of him. His HUD told him this was north. Thusly, Reverb began to walk, scanning his surrounds for any vital information, or lifesigns, all the while trying to ignore his brief encounter with 'Light' only moments ago. But the confusion, fear, and need for an explanation remained fastened in place in his brain.
24. Sorry Domon, but Zero is an NPC character. And also, he doesn't get his new form until Mega Man Zero. This is set in the Timeline of Mega Man X.

Jackass The Movie
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Actually it's extremely funny. Because it uses wit, unlike Jackass, which is just that. A bunch of jackasses making fools of themselves. I don't find Jackass amusing at all. I find it repulsive and ouright dumb. If you don't think I tell the truth, then go ask my friends. Trigger Happy TV isn't like candid camera. The commercials describe it as "seeing the world through the eyes or a crazy person"... he does the weirdest things just for no reason. He doesn't tell the people what he's doing or that they are on camera, he just does it to random people. It's really great, you should check it out.
Wow, I totally agree with you, TN. And that doesn't happen often, heh. I was unfortunate enough to see Jackass while I was in the States... Trigger Happy TV is like, a hojillion times better. Jackass uses stupidity, THTV uses wit and real comedy. Hmm. What does that tell you about the Americans as opposed to the Brits, eh?
