I didn't really catch on that it was an April fools day thing though until someone pointed it out to me, it almost seemed natural for Otakuboards to have dancing anime girls in the banner. Nestled in the bay between two peninsulas that were the last remains of a previous volcanic island, could be found a comfortable and prosperous trade and tourism community, served by air and sea. Home to everything one would expect to find in a tourist resort in the mid pacific, and featuring a lot of natural volcanic terrain that was not yet spoiled by the commercial development that ruins a lot of resorts, nearly a million people a year came to visit, on top of the few thousand people who lived there permanently. By air, or from a distance, it seemed perfectly ordinary. The school was in the same condition as one would expect of a public school, although slightly less cash-starved due to the number of wealthy people attending, gas stations and fast food places dotted the streets, and ships and airplanes came and went from the harbor. One peninsula was decorated with a lighthouse and a few farms; the other contained a moderate-sized power and communication station to provide electricity to the island in addition to Internet and telephone service, fed in via a government owned satellite system. The unexpected is what happens though, and although this island met the eye the same way any island like it would be, it was on this island that something had happened, that only a youthful mind would truly be able to understand. Odin jumped, though it didn’t seem like the teacher realized that he was actually writing something and not just keying in computer program language or CAD coordinates he still was quick to save the page and shut his computer off, putting it in his backpack and hurrying to catch the bus. [I]Seriously why do I always run out of time?[/I] He thought, getting on the bus that took him home right as the first few in line began pulling out. “Hey did you hear? Another person vanished for a few hours, and when they showed up again later that night they started telling tales about their being a spacecraft pilot from the year 3015 and the government took them away for questioning.” Another student whispered, rumors about these disappearances were sweeping the area again and the gossip chains were eating it up. Odin sighed, he never was openly into gossip, however he often would take note of some things to use as leverage later on. This was just rumors and conspiracy theories though as far as he was concerned, and was rather boring. Taking a seat right around the middle of the bus where there was an empty spot, he looked out the window at the ocean and the town, daydreaming in the hour or so before he was home.

Plus stuff like the image I posted earlier isn't even close to porn, it's just showy.

Looks good so far, I don't see any problems. Starwind, you aren't going to control people's characters without permission this time correct? At the very least leave an OOC note in a previous post if you want to for a scene, but preferrably arrange such events by PM or IM. Likely this will start sometime this weekend, I do know there is one more person coming that PM'd me to ask me to save space, and any others that get their bios up before this starts are welcome to do so.

I've been trying to figure something out actually. There's an image I was given a while ago that is supposed to be Gothic Lolita, however no matter where I look I haven't been able to find any references to this subtype or where to find materials for it- someone I know wants to try wearing a similar outfit just for kicks. Basically, the type of outfit you see Misa wearing most of the time, that is the kind of Goth Lolita I like. Though in a way it is good that there are a balance of different tastes, like I used to tell the girl I am with now before we got together "There's always someone who would love you, no matter how you are." I do know I like some of the cute stuff, but I also like girls that have curves as well in addition to having a good mind and some related interests to my own. As for height and weight, I don't worry about height much, but I am actually rather proud to love a girl who weighs more than I do. It doesn't stop me from picking her up from time to time, mind you I don't often because it is a bit awkward, but it still is possible. She's got real shape to her body too. And her interests and personality are quite compatible with mine, which is a good thing. We've been together for soon to be a year already.

Elves get angel wings; vampires get bat wings.) There are also legends of a great forge where the universe was made, and constant power struggles and searches to find it. Even most blacksmiths will dismiss the idea as folly, but the promise of power to the one who tames it still has sent many to their deaths. That's pretty clever I think, though I don't see the post that Des made when this screenshot was taken. And here I was just asking in another thread what kinds of pranks to expect.

I picked up a death note replica at an Anime Convention back in November, but other than that I really don't have any anime merchandise or really fuss about getting it. Then again maybe if I cosplay more I will pick up more items as props.

That still sounds like a pretty good prank in any case. I wonder if they will do anything like it in the near future.

I don't know if anyone here is religious or not, however tonight is easter vigil and tomorrow is easter Sunday for most Christian and catholic religions. I am fairly sure it is passover for the Jewish faith as well. What are your plans for tonight and tomorrow? I am going down to the church in a few minutes to set up the easter vigil bonfire. Basically, at sundown I ignite this fire, and the mass starts around it. After some songs are sung and the fire is blessed, the easter candle and some flame pots are ignited and carried inside. It becomes the light of Christ by the time they are done, and is stored on a large candle in the back room to ignite baptism candles so that new baptisms receive the light of Christ- which is derived from the fire I ignite this eveni[B]n[/B]g and have for the past three years. Normally I sit out by the fire for a while longer as it cannot be left unattended, but the then offer prayers and carry the fire pots around the darkened church for a fair bit as per tradition. Usually right around the time my fire is burning out ( I know exactly how much wood to give it so it only burns long enough for the ritual) the lights are turned on and the mass proceeds normally, letting out at midnight. As for tomorrow, I have no idea what we'll do- I don't think we've located our easter baskets from last year they were hidden so well. Probably just enjoy the day off I think.

I've been pulled over once, following too closely (Even though I was riding as-specified by NYSDMV 3 second following distance in good conditions) They reduced it to no seat belt, which was no points no insurance increase, and nothing more than 2 hours in town court waiting for my turn and a $150 fine. Hopefully they wont bother my car right now though. She's all smashed up from a mishap on ice back in february, and though it is safely together and perfectly driveable it's not pretty .

Companionship, caring, and affection. Those three are what I really look for in a relationship, intimate relations and physical attraction come later and will often develop once the first three are found. The other thing too is I don't really care for drinking, but I wont put up with smoking as the smell irritates me very quickly. As for their habits, it helps to have at least some things in common or at least have related interests, though I find that some people do better with a bit of a gap in interests so that you aren't outdoing each other all the time and you both have things you are good at that the other isn't. What interests me though is how I wasn't looking for a relationship at all and I kind of stumbled upon it one day, and now am glad I did.

I'm typing this while studying weather maps in case I run into problems driving to my date with Momishin this weekend. I think it is obvious what my opinions of dating are, the two of us has been meaning roughly every month for nine months now. It's still fun though, because as our bond deepens we try new things and grow ever closer together. It hasn't always been easy though. One botched date in particular stands out, we had gone to the beach at New Jersey, and I lost my glasses in the ocean. Well, by the time all was said and done I ended up driving 8 hours home without them. Fortunately I can see well enough to stay on the road and not hit anything, but reading the roadsigns was a pain in the ***. I never really was into girls or dating back in high school, and even in college I couldn't be bothered. Then Momishin came along, and my whole life has changed.

And here I thought this would be discussing types of wedding rings. I usually don't notice, I already have a girl and only talk to others as classmates. Though there are some other things I notice from time to time, such as what they are wearing or if they look like they need someone to talk to or not.

If I got started on this topic, it would not be pretty. The sheer volumes of stupidity that take place these days are absolutely insane....
