1. This has already passed for us... It was pretty dumb. "Spirit Week" only last three days. I don't even remember what the days were... I think there was "80's Day", "Twin Day", and "Spirit Day". I took part in none, nor did I go to homecoming.

Avril!

Ugh... I despise her. She is an insult to everything that I am, and I seriously pretty much shudder at the sound of her name. One time I even gagged as if I was about to vomit. Her pop music is aggrivating, the fact that she tries to rock is sickening, her "fun clothes" are nothing new... very trendy in fact, and the fact that she tries to pass herself as "punk" is a stab to the hearts of everyone that truely are that way. She is ignorant, self-centered, and just an all-around 'wannabe' (I've done my research). I suspect she is just a 'fad' and will pass, but she vexes me to no end.
3.
Originally posted by Vegitto4 Interesting, When nail fused with piccolo, he said that if piccolo didn't like it, then nail would leave. Me thinks that if it is a refusion of one body, that was defused sometime ago into 2** ie, Piccolo and Kami** Then that kind of fusion can not be undone. However, when one fuses with a different person, that did not share those characteristics, then that one would be a " temporary" if you will.
Oh yeah, I forgot about when Nail said that. Hrmmm... It's a logical theory. Either that or Nail was just trying to get Piccolo to fuse with him, lol. Your theory sounds better though.
4. "A open foe may prove a curse, but a pretended friend is worse." "Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead." "He that lives upon hope will die fasting." "If Jack's in love, he's no judge of Jill's beauty." All said by Benjamin Franklin.
5. Love for one's self (not in an arrogant or egotistical way). You can't get too far without that.
6.
Originally posted by gokents i think his race is icejin or something. Im not sure but 10-1 piromunkie knows.
You over-estimate me, lol. Furiza's race is never really stated as to what they are. We do not know where he is from, he can achieve his multiple levels because it is merely part of being of his race (just like Saiya-jins are the only ones capable of reaching the Super Saiya-jin level), and they can breathe in space, again, because it is just part of who they are.
7. Nail remained fused with Piccolo. Namekian fusions can't be undone, which is why they had to find a new guardian after Kami fused with Piccolo. It wasn't like they could fuse to fight Cell and then just unfuse. :)
8. You probably just should have stuck with just the background. It probably would have made a better impression..
9. I got Wild Fire... What? You seem suprised, lol. :p Come on, as if we didn't see that coming.
10. I kind of go on and off off my hobbies. For a while I may pick up on drawing, then I might move to practicing the guitar, then I might go to making graphics... Sometimes my short attention span gets ahold of me and I'll cycle through my hobbies pretty quick..
11. DragonBall first aired in Japan February 12, 1986... (I think) That's all I know on that subject.
12. Edgar: ... Here goes nothing.. I grasped the staff the stood so firmly in front of me. It was charcoal black, with a misty orb at the top. It was this 'mist' that caught my attention. Out of curiosity I drew it closer to my face. I put my free hand in the midst of this mist. I could not feel anything. It seemed to empty... so dark. Inhaling this mist through my nostrils, I could smell nothing, but my insides twisted and writhed. Yet I enjoyed this feeling. I felt something slightly coarse on the staff. Removing my hand from over the spot I noticed a small engraving in the side. It was too small to see from the distance I held it at... so I brought it closer. As I read the what had been etched into the staff, I spoke the words out loud.. but in a whisper... Edgar: Curse the sunlight... Before my eyes went over the rest of the words I noticed the mist that was emitting from the orb was now violently pumping out and quickly making its way toward the sky. It was there that it blocked out any and all light from entering the atmosphere. The land grew cold. I was slightly frightened by this... yet I felt the uncontrollable urge to continue. In doing so, I moved my eyes back to the markings on the staff... Edgar: ... I remain in shadows growing wings. At this moment it seemed to me that everything within me stopped... // Edgar blacks out as his body is now taken by something... else. His eyes roll back into his head as his shoulder blades begin to protrude from his back. In less than a split second, giant wings burst from his shoulder blades. The wings were shades of dark grey to black, and appeared tattered and torn, but worked as if they were whole. This thing that Edgar had become lunged into the sky, beating its powerful wings causing gale force winds that, despite their fury, did not effect the environment around it. When it had reached its peak on high, this thing let loose a deafening roar as it then shot itself down towards the land. At the point of collision this thing merely disappeared into the ground as the clouds from the sky poured down in the the shadow that remained. From this darkness, something new ascended... This being of Shadow. Geinudo: It feels good to be out... He waved his heavily covered hand over the mist that expelled from the orb on his staff. A mass of the shadowy mist collected in that hand in a ball about the size of a softball. He raised it to his face which was covered by a hood, and blew on it as the ball dissipated into the air. He then proceeded to remove the hood; revealing his head. His face was paled, the blue veins could faintly be seen through. Eyes lack the iris and the pupil leaving them a ghostly white. His hair was black and wirey, but maintains the same length and part as Edgar's...

14. She looks a bit off balance, other than that it's pretty good. :) Technically, it's not a doodle, lol. As this is actually something. Doodles, are.. well.. doodles, lol.
15. I prefer Pepsi over Coke. I don't care how it is advertised, that is not how it is meant to be judged. It Pepsi tastes better in my opinion. It is a lot smoother than Coke. If I were to get specific I would say Mountain Dew, and even more specifically Code Red. Coke has yet to even come close to matching that. :p
16.
Originally posted by DarkOrderKnight Well... Not completely... I had fun so that kinda makes me evil... And I think I might, no never mind...
As long as you didn't know she already had a boyfriend, you are not evil, regardless of whether you had fun or not. Now if you continued to see her as a girlfriend after you found out, that would be "evil". She was the one who cheated, you are completely innocent.
17.
Originally posted by Endymion Some of you may laugh at my question, but at least I asked. There's a whole lot of people out there who call Avril Lavigne "punk" (but I know pop-rock when I hear it. I find it amazing that so many people hate her simply because the media put her in the wrong category. Her songs are half-decent on a pop-rock level.)
I don't hate her cause the media classified her wrong, I do because she calls herself 'punk'. When obviously she doesn't know the half of it. She comes off really arrogant about it too, which annoys me to no end. Not to mention her music is absolutley horrible.. I think I'll stop there.
18. If you are looking for a decent diary thing, DiaryLand.com is pretty good. It is kind of basic as it doesn't include all those little extra "My Mood is:" and "Currently listening to:" little things on it. Though I never really understood the point of those to begin with. I'd say the only drawback is that unless you have a paid account, you can't use them to host images for your diary thing. Which isn't that much of a hassle anyway. It's easy to manipulate and such. So yeah... it's what I use, lol.
19.
Originally posted by Endymion What is punk, anyway? And don't go giving me that "state of mind, kick a trash can" stuff I read somewhere around these boards a while back. :) Seriously, though. I don't know whether I like punk or not. What are some good examples of punk bands?
::falls over laughing:: Hehe, it was the "And don't give me that 'state of mind, kick a trash can' stuff" that made me laugh. I wasn't laughing at you so don't worry, it was a good laugh. Really it is hard to put a definition to punk because it is very general, and nothing is really the same as there are different kinds of it. So the only way to describe is to use those vague and somewhat complex phrases about it. Most people think it all sounds the same, but they just aren't listening close enough. :p For example, when I first heard AFI (my favorite band) I thought they were really monotonous and such. After actually listening to what they were saying and borrowing one of their CDs from a friend, I heard more of their music and read the lyrics, and that's when I realized how good they are. Good examples of punk bands would be of such: ... well.. after some thought. I'll just link you to my SLAM Omaha profile. Scroll down a bit and there is a pretty big list of bands. Most of them are punk, a few are hardcore, some are ska, some emo... and Tenacious D who are a comedic rock duo, lol. But yeah, you can view that here: http://www.slamomaha.com/profiles/profileView.asp?id=8343
20. Anything that didn't have moving parts was pretty useless to me. I mean, when you have a car which its wheels are of the same mold as the rest of it, you can't do much. Unless the thing was on ice, it wasn't going anywhere. o_O
21. I would share what is going on with me with other guy friends if I knew I could trust them. Guys seem to not really connect on the level. I think it is kind of a matter of Unity over Loyalty. Meaning they'd tell their other good friends or "home dogs" something, even if it meant betraying another. Perhaps it is that guys don't really consider others' feelings because they view it as a sign of weakness. Most girls on the other hand are pretty much the opposite. Sure there is gossip, but I think that is used as more of a weapon rather than just casual talk. So when it comes to whether or not guys can talk to each other on a deeper and more emotional level, I shall just quote Benjamin Franklin:
"Three can keep a secret if two of them are dead."
On Mnemolth's sub-subject asking whether a guy and a girl can be friends without sexual tension? Absolutely. A majority of my friends these days are girls. I think of them as nothing more than a friend, and vice versa. If I was attracted to every girl I knew, I'd be a huge mess of tangled emotion and confusion. James also makes a good point in saying that: "... but with all my close friends, I see them more as a family member than something else." I agree with that one hundred percent. I've known my friends (that are girls) long enough that we don't really see each other as a friend that is a guy or a friend that is a girl. I treat them as I would my brother (I'm not going to say sister, cause I hate my sister), or one of my other guy friends. I just see them on the same level as me. We fight just as a family would, whether it be just for fun, or something a bit more serious... and I don't really have any sexual tension with family... that's just gross, lol.
22.
Originally posted by sailor stardust I can't thank u enuf for the waltz steps, piromunkie
... Hrmmm, good to hear. Now if you would just sign this form in which I cannot be held responsible for any and all injuries or fatalities that may occur upon following my instructions, it would be greatly appreciated. Heh heh... let's just hope the way I learned it is the same way you did.. ::finds "how to tango" page online...:: Yeah, impossible...
23. Perhaps "the greatest band in the world" is a bit too exaggerative. There are plenty of bands I'd listen to before I would listen to them. I'm not saying they are bad, just not necessarily one of my absolute favorites.
24.
Originally posted by Utena_Tenjou I HATE pop...Avril Lavigne is the only exception.
Gyah.. >.< Well at least you classified her as pop.. so I won't say anything more to that.. You won't really find me listening to anything other than punk, ska, hardcore, emo, some metal, some grunge, and a little bit of goth in there. I'm starting to take to some classical, especially Beethoven. The only problem with classical is that pretty much every song is relatively long, thus if I were to try and download one, it would take a pretty long time. I can't stand pop. It is either too happy, or pathetically depressed about a girl/guy that broke up with them that they had known for a week. Rap today is absolutley horrible. It makes no sense what-so-ever, and when it does they are only talking about blood, sex, and booze. I can tolerate 'old school' rap, which was much more raw and real. It sounds like they actually put some thought into the song (and yes, I can actually classify them as a song). I can't stand to listen to country. It is too twangy, and I don't care to hear about how sad they are that a stampede of cow ran over their 'love'. So yeah...
25.
Originally posted by vegeta rocker tree of might is alright i guess, my brother recently acquired lord slug with a cool soundtrack. boy hits car, disturbed, finger eleven etc. not bad, though the music out did the anime in my opinion.
Finger Eleven was in there??? I didn't know that. I guess the only one I noticed was Disturbed. Where did they come in? That's odd... The 'modern' music kind of ruins the anime though, which is why I watch the original sub (thanks for DVD's). Hrmmm.. I've spoken to James Black before, I have his AIM name actually. Meheh.. he's a bit of an ***, but if you can find common ground with him he's pretty cool..
