2. Gah! Why didn't I think of this earlier? Wow I'm dumb. Yeah, Cera's right on the chemistry stuff. When you boil water you are killing all the bacteria and impurities in it. So it is the lack of presence of those things that makes it taste different. Meh, I really should have known that right of the back. o_O
  3.
Originally posted by SuperSayian ElCrazyWhiteBoy: Ha, your buddy piromunkie doesn't know how to use the word "weary" lol. :-) SuperSayian4444: O-o ElCrazyWhiteBoy: , but somethings you mentioned are a bit weary: ElCrazyWhiteBoy: weary means fatigued or tired ElCrazyWhiteBoy: OR SuperSayian4444: Well, he's a flaming monkie, so he can make mistakes like that. XD SuperSayian4444: Well. ElCrazyWhiteBoy: lol SuperSayian4444: some of the facts might not be too strong/backed-up. SuperSayian4444: But I see what you mean ElCrazyWhiteBoy: Hmm
That was perhaps the best part of the conversation, lol. :p Yes, when I said "weary" I meant it in a more figurative sense. Instead of saying the person is tired, I was saying what he said was "tired". Meaning they weren't completely thought out. Not being able to think right is a side effect of fatigue. So it works, you just have to think about it for a second. Anyway, quite an interesting conversation... Neh, do you really believe that Vegeta never attained Super Saiya-jin 2, or did you take that side for the sake of debate? Lol.
  4.
Originally posted by Cera ...Did I ever say you did?
Touché!
Mmmm, anyway. The rest of your post there reminds me very much of a friend, and a few conversations we've had this past year or so.
::hopes this is a good thing:: Ummmm... thanks? :whoops:
  5.
Originally posted by Cera ......and I suddenly come across directions for learning to waltz..... :p
Yes. Yes, it seems you have! Now that you have read them I expect you to practice, practice, practice! For if I ever happen to meet you, I will ask you to waltz with me. If you don't do it correctly I shall give you a cookie, cause it is probably better off that you just don't listen to what I say to begin with. :p Although if you do it right, you shall get two cookies for actually listening to what I say and taking the time to make sense of it. o_O I wonder if I should see if I can learn the tango from online...
  6.
Originally posted by Cera Ever the modest one, eh, Piro?
Did I ever mention my name in there? Lol, I was semi-quasi-implying myself, she should remember me better than that. Unless she doesn't really judge people she meets online, since it can be a bit more difficult to determine. Though I moreso just find it hard that of all the guys she has met that are not gay, all of them have been 'dogs'. That was more my concern in that post, rather than just referring to myself. So yes, I tend to be rather modest. If I am being arrogant, you will really be able to tell and I'll most likely be joking around. :p Nothing has really ever happened to me that could possibly give me good reason for arrogance. If I "gawk" at a girl, it is because I do find them visually attractive, but I think my standards are quite different from the typical male. So probably a fairly high majority (at least around these parts) of girls, I won't find all that appealing. If/when I would notice a girl, I wouldn't think of anything likes "Whoa, she's HOT!" (you have no idea how much a despise the use of that word) or "What a babe!" (actually, I'd only call a girl "babe" if I knew her well enough and I am joking around :p), most girls I look at tend to dress according to who they are, which makes it easy to judge. Though my eyes have been deceived a few times lately, I'd say 7/10 times I can judge these kind of people right. So in short, if I "gawk" at a girl, I'm not necessarily looking at her looks, I'm using her looks to try and develope a personality. This can also be derived from the way they walk and such. So instead of saying "What a babe!" I am moreso saying "Wow, she looks like she'd be fun to do this with, or talk about that with. Blah blah blah..." Yeah... so that "in short" wasn't as short as I'd hoped, lol. I can't help but ramble..
  7.
Originally posted by Pastbyer Actually boiled water has less oxygen. That's all the bubbles that come out when you boil it... I think.
... So how can water taste less oxygenated? Is it slightly bitter? Or what? :p
  8.
Originally posted by sailor stardust geeses,I wish I knew how to waltz,I do not get the 1-2-3 step that goes w/ that though.
It's actually pretty easy, or at least the basic steps are. The choreographer that is teaching the waltz for this musical is throwing in this leg sweep thing. I'm pretty used to it by now though. The 1-2-3 step is really simple. Instead of thinking of it as 1-2-3, think of it as Down-Up-Up. When you first start (if you leading, then start with the left and you're moving backwards at first, the follower starts with the right) Step forward or back depending on which position you are in (this is the "Down" or "1" count), and then for the "Up-Up" just go up on your toes as you are turning to face the opposite direction. Then when you go back to the "Down" beat, you step on the opposite foot then what you used before. So it's like this: The leader's foot pattern goes like this: Left(Down), Right(Up), Left(Up), Right(Down), Left(Up), Right(up), etc. etc. Then the follower's footing will be just the opposite: Right(Down), Left(Up), Right(up), Left(Down), Right(Up), Left(Up), etc. etc. Just remembering on the "Up-Up" is done while turning clockwise (turn over your right shoulder), so by the next "Down" beat you are facing the other direction. Once you get that pattern down, then it helps to keep the count with it. There is no way I'm going into the leg sweep, lol. That can really get confusing. Words cannot even come close to explaining it. It's not too different from the aforementioned basic waltz, but the footwork must be precise or else you'll end up on your partner's feet. So explaining it would be hard to do. I'm still trying to get totally fluent with that. I'm wondering if I have to learn the tango...
  9. :Ahem: Well the first I really noticed it that it looks like she's holding her 'groin area'... yeah.. Otherwise It's pretty good. :) Not too familiar with Eva though..
  10.
Originally posted by aka Topaz one thing i learned about "men" is that they are all the same, the only ones i know of that are respectable are the gay ones, its in a mans instincts to cheat or to gwak at other girls.
*cough* ... Surely you've met some exceptions in your life.
  11.
Originally posted by vegeta rocker sounds like it sucks. I get water from a canal how safe is that? Well i hate how boiled water tastes, even after you cool it down tastes devoid of all flavour.
... Water doesn't have a flavor to begin with, lol. If it did, then we wouldn't have 'flavored water' (the kind that is carbonated and tastes like different fruits and stuff). Drinking water is like breathing air, unless there's something altered about it, it shouldn't really have a taste.
  12. If by singing you mean screaming lyrics to your favorite songs then yes, yes I do, lol. Though I doubt that is what you meant.:p Actually, I can sing fairly well. I don't do choir or anything like that, simply because I find no need to and I don't like to sing those kind of songs. I am in the occasional musical, like right now I'm in my friend's school's production of the musical Clue (she goes to an all girls school, and they needed guys). I've probably mentioned this before though. I was cast as Professor Plum. :p He has this great scene with the Detective where they hit on each other like none other... well actually Plum seduces her but it's all the same. If she didn't want him, she wouldn't have taken the bait, lol. But there is a sad ending to that short-lived relationship, which about made me cry when I read it. Cause I really like that scene, it just seems so fun especially cause they go into a duet. I tend to get really into my character in relating to him, so I take things that happen to him in the play kind of personally, lol. I really like the song they do. The music director took one of my lines out and gave it to the Detective though. I talked to her about that, cause I was curious as to why, and she said that before they auditioned any of the guys, they weren't sure if they would get a person to play Plum who could sing. So it was the original plan to give most of the lines to the Detective. Though she said that I am doing a lot better than they expected, so they will just play it by ear and see what happens. In practice today, we went over the main songs, and at one point in a song where I am singing a short bit by myself I totally hit all the wrong notes except for the last one, lol. That was almost odd being that the last note was the highest, but it was really funny. After I messed up the first two notes I pretty much gave up and purposely sang off tune trying to get back on. The music director got a big laugh with that, as did everyone else. She said something to the effect of, "Nicely done! If you are going to screw something up you might as well do it loud and proud!" Which I did, lol. But yeah.. fun times. :p
  13.
Originally posted by Justin I thought that you were referring to that whole "There's something in Otaku's water" thing...lol
Lol, I thought the exact same thing... get my hopes up, sheesh. :p I wish I could relate somehow. I can imagine having to boil water being an inconvenience. Just be glad you're not like this friend of mine, lol. She's so bad of a cook that she burns the water. o.O

    Like?

Meh, I've basically seen the same thing before. Except last time you had part of it cut out with a darkish blueish background.
  15. ... I'm still trying to figure out why no one posted anything about this. -__- I missed a couple of episodes.. bah.
  16. Any person who says that they never think about sex is lying, lol. Unless it's a littel kid who doesn't even know what it is. People may not think about it on a perverted or lustful level as other, but it is only natural to think about it in someway at times. I mean, a little more than a year ago when I became an uncle and I first saw my neice it was kind of nice. I never realized how little newborn babies are. Then after that when I got some time to myself (probably here at the computer like it usually is), one's bored mind tends to trail off on thought and I just came to think about what it takes for a child to be. So there I was thinking of sex, but not on the level that probably a majority of people my age do. Oh yeah, I play for the "V Team" as well. :p Darn proud of it.
  17. Oh my... number six made me laugh the hardest by far. I shall end up doing that someday, probably. Number one was quite funny as well. Then number four was quite amusing. Now I just need a roommate...
  18. Haha, yes, I saw one episode of that once. It was pretty funny. I think my favorite was the one where they disguised themselves as bushes in one of the those hedge mazes then when this one lady was looking, they snuck forwardand closed her off, and she just sat there like "Whaa.???"
  19. Well it's more effective than a Super Saiya-jin level 2. The fusion ups the power, then the Super Saiya-jin 3 level brings that even higher. It doesn't really matter if it takes a good toll on Buu.. with a villian like him, they know they have to take what they can get. From a clip I watched one time of SSJ3 Kakarot against Buu.. it seemed to be rather effective. Buu was taking most of the beating.
Originally posted by Son Goten Punk bands are awesome live. I went to the warped tour, and I loved it. So did Piro. :)
o_O I'm trying to figure out why you mentioned me there... It just doesn't flow.. lol. Meh, MXPX used to be pretty good for a Christian-ish punk band. But they are soooooooo mainstream now.. I didn't care to see them at the Warped Tour. I think I was laying on a hill and they happened to be on stage at the time though.. I took the time to see bands like Death by Stereo, Anti-Flag, Thrice, Flogging Molly, NOFX (though they really sucked.. they should know better than to play sober, lol), we were going to see the Casualties but Bad Religion was on at the same time and we saw Bad Religion instead, Reel Big Fish (a little mainstream but they are still good), I watched the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for way up high cause I was playing on the Pirate slip 'n' slide thing, lol. There were some other bands too, but I dont remember their names.. I think Pistol Grip was one.. Anyway..
  21.
Originally posted by Aries I'm going to grow it out long, part it down the middle, with a pony tail of just the back hair, and streak it blue probably.
Meheheh, I could do that right now if I wanted. :p Well, except for the blue streak part, lol. My hair isn't long enough that a pony tail would hold it all though. The hair towards the front of my head fall out of it so that I look like Trunks of DBZ when he came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber... except my hair is only down to about my lips. ::still dreams of Desbreko's hair:: :love2: Hehe..
  22.
Originally posted by wrist cutter It's hard to sum up into one sentence like I wanted too... but it seemed like some people perceived my statistical statement to mean "99% of guys would instantly fall flat on their face and grovel at a hot chick's feet if she asked them out"... when what I meant was "99% of guys would NOT SAY NO"... perhaps that makes more sense.
Meh, I pretty much took it as a combination of the two. As in "99% of guys would say yes and instantly fall flat on their face and grovel at a hot chick's feet is she asked them out." Both of your statements mean pretty much the same thing to me..
  23. Have I been cheated on? Not that I know of. Have I cheated? No. Then again I've only had two girlfriends... so I can't really speak from much experience. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing though.
  24. If by "dancing" you mean "moshing" or "skanking", then yes. Yes, I do dance, lol. I doubt that is what you meant though. No I don't really dance. The only actual dancing I do is in the occasional musical I may happen to take part in. I know how to waltz... that's about it, lol. :p
  25.
Originally posted by wrist cutter I wouldn't say a gross generalization. I never said "99% of men would instantly fall in love forever if an attractive girl asked them out". That would be a gross generalization. However, accepting is a totally different thing. And in that regard, I'd say my "radical statement" wasn't so radical at all.
If by "accepting is a totally different thing" you mean accepting the fact that you would really say 'yes' instead of just saying you'd say 'no', I do agree. In all honesty, I would probably tell the girl 'maybe', lol. I tend to be very indecisive about things. Either that or I'd say 'no' (in which this would be a girl I obviously don't care to know), or just be really sarcastic with my response, whether it be playful of spiteful sarcasm. I don't know, I'm not the kind of guy that randomly gets asked by a girl to 'go out' with her.. so I'd probablyj ust look at her really weird at first, then give one of the previous responses. I don't think I'd instantly say 'yes' though. I'm not that spontaneous of a person.
