  1. I think what the problem is, is that if you post an attatchment in the Art and Design section, but use a host but with the same file name at the end, it won't work. I've found that every time I get a new file name it starts working, so it's most likely something related to that.
  2. I agree with Sephiroth and Zeh. I admire many people on Otakuboards, but I wouldn't go as far as to say a crush. I could give you a list of people I admire and respect though.
  3. It's a good prologue, I just noticed a couple of spelling errors. As always, I enjoy your stories, comics, and games as well. Good job, I look forward to seeing a book out of this. The story seems good, and pretty original. I like the idea of advanced technology with aliens and the sort along with physical abilities such as Dragun's. Good work :) Keep the bounties comin'
  4. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Terpischore [/i] [B]Well, I live in Texas and people have been blowing fireworks left and right...even last night i heard them! So i believe that they are legal in Texas...but I don't think that it really matters anymore...people do it anyway....I was in Florida once and they did it...I was in Iowa and they did it...so i really don't think that illegalizing (is that a word?!) fireworks stops people from doing it. [/B][/QUOTE] Actually, fireworks are illegal in some of the most remote places of Texas, but luckily there are some places we can go. The thing is, my family doesn't feel like driving 50 miles out just to shoot firecrackers off, so I just sneak out and do it at night :) Anyway, the Texas Rangers baseball stadium here in arlington always has an amazing fireworks exhibition. They spend millions of dollars and the grand finales are truly great, the ground shakes even outside of the stadium. It's something my family does every year, we go and watch the fireworks at the stadium, but this year whilst I was driving home, there were many civilians launching professional fireworks. Not anything small like Roman Candles or Black Cats, but humongous fireworks like the stadium was showing, the kind that cost about $300 a piece. All last night in my area I was hearing them as well. I snuck out to get my friend at about 1 AM (and the firecrackers were still going strong), but he brought the wrong fireworks with him. He was supposed to bring a strand of Raging Tigers (just like Black Cats but a little stronger), but he only brought like 5 individual ones which aren't worth the trouble. Today we're going to go find a good area to shoot off his artillery shells. You have to have about 50 feet of open space in every direction. No grass, trees, buildings, just dirt or cement. It's going to be hard to find a place like that, but we're going exploring for it today.
  5. Well, my extensive adventures are too many to be remembered, but I'll have to go with this one. My [s]friend[/s] and I were out behind this park I live by in some very tall, dead grass. We had the highly intellectual idea to bring matches with us and mess around, making little fires and putting them out. I get the bright and sudden urge to light five matches at once and drop them by us. They spread out and my friend tries to put them out with a towel but gets scared and runs off. The tiny little fires spread to the boxes of matches that I dropped and started a large flame. We run to the houses next to it to evacuate people and get people to call the fire department. We are interrogated extensively my firemen, police officers, people that lived there and many other things. Before anyone gets there however, we came up with a clever little story that he somehow managed to butcher and make everyone suspicious with. It's been over a month now and I haven't had any fire marshalls or police officers come to my house, so I think I'm in the clear, but we'll just have to see.
  6. Well, fortunately for you, I don't go to sleep very often so I'll be here to try and help lol. Anyway, when you signed up, did it tell you that you were accepted or that there was server trouble and they postponed signups, or what?
  7. That's because you have to check the e-mail account that you signed up with. Open their greeting e-mail and click on the verification link before you try to log in :)
  8. Ok. I'll help out :) First, do you have a host? If you don't know what that is, then listen up. You need a host to upload your banner to. Once you have that, just get the link they supply you when you upload it, and put it between the img tags you have. [url]http://250free.com[/url] That's a good host for image hosting. Signup on their website, and then when you log in, go to the section that says "Upload Files." In the little boxes where you have space to type, there will be a button next to each one that says "Browse." Click that button and then double-click on the image you made and press the "Upload," button at the bottom. After a little period of time you will be taken to a new page that says your file was uploaded. Copy the link supplied and place it between the img tags that you have in your signature.
  9. I agree with Juu there are a lot of ants in Texas, but luckily I don't have a problem here at my house. The fireants are bad, but I really don't know how to tell them apart. Some of my friends are tortured by the pests so much that they have red marks all over their legs from where they've been bit. I really hate ants, and I sympathize for you, but I'm going to hop on the bandwagon and tell you to get ant traps or hire an exterminator (if you're not afraid of your pets [if you have any] health that is).
  10. Remember that everyone who's posted their sign-up can't join. Only the original people and about 2 others. I'll still accept more sign-ups but there will only be a couple in the RPG. E D I T: My sign-up with minor modifications. Name: Auron Age: 32 Race: Human Class: Warrior Bio: Auron was a child in the town that sent the warriors. His father being one of them. Once they heard about the deaths of the warriors, Auron and his mother were left to fend for themselves. His mother grew sick, and died few weeks later, he then fled into the woods, fending off thievs, and other creatures. While in the forest, he becomes skilled in the art of archery, and crafts a bow, and some arrows, and can hit a 1/2 an inch rope from 50 feet away. He hears of the new crusade, and returns to the town, to join the other warriors. After the battle with Malius he went back to his home town to be congratulated on his victory but only for a short while. A year later he started a small business selling goods but that didn't take off very well. He closed up shop and became a mercenary, destroying people or even monsters, for the right price that is. He is now 32 and still running strong. He has heard of the recent terror rising across the land and plans to combat the undead. . .after he finishes his recent job that is. Appearance: Short brown hair, caucasion, wears a red trench coat, with a black tank top underneath (I had a mind block when I made the signup) Personality: He's not very talkative, unless it's about serious matters. He is not very friendly either, yet...not mean. During the journey for the stones he went mildly insane but is recovering slowly. Weapons: Long Sword, about 2/3 his size, a hidden katana, and bow/arrows. Other: None E D I T 2: Very sorry about the delay. My computer has a virus, and I had a chance to get on at another computer today. When I find a way to get rid of the virus (I might clear my whole hard drive, but I'll have to burn all of my files first possibly), then I will start this up and apologize to each of you. By the way, thank you to everyone who entered as a new character, but I am giving the slots to The Harlequin and Shikaku Kitoku because they were the first to post their signups.
  11. Actually that's a good idea. It could be like the apocolypse. There would be war on Earth and chaos coming from space. Thanks for the idea :D
  12. Whoa. How the hell did Auro's post get before mine on the page?? Oh well. I don't see what you mean by plain. If you mean in the space around the planet then yes, but as I said, it's unfinished and I need to add stars as well as comets and possibly a few minature planets in the background.
  13. You have to find a place to upload the images. A good place that I use is 250free.com. Sign up there and go to the upload section. Upload your image and then open it up when it's done. Copy the URL out of your address bar and there it is.
  14. Well, I'm very proud of this piece, and I love the way it's turned out so far. I have created a 3D model of the Earth that isn't finished but still looks really good. I hope to become a little better at airbrushing, add some stars and then put in some comets. Tell me what you think :)
  15. Alot of other forums have amazing artists and graphics designers so they can be very harsh at times but this is still a good piece. Such as deviantART. They have the most amazing photographers, graphics designers, poets, artists there, along with any other type of art that you could imagine. But they don't criticize you too harshly, they help you improve.
  16. Wow. That's amazing DW :) I really love the detail that was put into it and the text is pretty cool too. Great job shading. 10/10
  17. Yes, Toriyama said in an official interview that females do not have the ability to attain the Super Saiyajin level of power. He has never confirmed why, however.
  18. In an ancient era upon the land of Galeia there were 5 stones of great power. The Aniar Stones. Each stone was driven by the magic of the elements, Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Lightning. The stones are highly sought after by many whom believe in the legend. Most villagers and peasants think of it as a myth, but those with authority, and adventurers, once were on journies to seek the stones. But 'twas not an easy task, finding the stones. There was an emperor, Malius, who also believed in the legend. All he sought after were the stones and control of Galeia. In an unlikely turn of events, 8 adventurers banded together to find the stones and delete the sadistic emperor and his army. The adventurers were as follows: Mara Heartlock: Human, Time Mage and Sorceress, leader of the band. Tyron: Werewolf and Warrior Relee Kittana: Human, Sorceress that relies mainly on potions. Kain Yagyu: Human warrior seeking revenge on Malius by any means necessary. Ryan Schezar: A black mage who lived as a mercenary. Elsyan Eglaannun: A High Elf Warrior and vital member of the group. Miko: A Human that studied as a black mage. Auron: A human warrior with great power and toughness. Unmatched by many. Somewhat lunatic. In the journey, the warriors gathered two of the Aniar stones and heard tale that Malius had taken the other three. The band infiltrated his castle and fought many battles with his minions and monsters. Malius was too strong however, even Auron, the strongest warrior could not take him down. The warriors managed to hold him back long enough for Mara to gather the stones. She sacrificed her life using the power of the stones to defeat Malius. In the battle, Tyron, the brave werewolf was also killed. Now an even greater evil has arisen. In the land of Kinyo, a dark mage has taken control of the elements and created yet another Aniar stone, combining all of the elements of Galeia and fused them with darkness. With this power, he has created an army of undead that have ravaged local villages and caused chaos to come upon the land. It is time once again for the group of warriors to band together and defeat this evil. --------- In the original RPG, Mara was played by Mist Tyron by Dark_Apocalypse Relee by Juuthena Kain was played by...Kain Ryan was played by KnightOfTheRose Elsyan by Deedlit Miko by Krillen and Auron by myself. We will be accepting a few more entries, but not many because we already have a small group, and we have all agreed to participate in the RPG. Here is the sign-up sheet: Name: Age: Race: Class: Bio: Appearance: Personality: Weapons: (3 max) Other: All of the original characters, feel free to post your signups again :)
  19. I thought you didn't like OB Griff? Oh well. That's a really good 3D piece. I wish I could airbrush like you do in PS. You're pieces look a lot alike people say, but it's really just the colors and tech look. All your pieces are really cool.
  20. lol. I thought I would be the first to see the Necrophilia title, but I'm too late. Anyway, I prefer the first one more because it seems more like a normal wallpaper, whereas the other one seems like a photo I'd use in a magazine. I prefer the second photo more, actually, but it just doesn't seem good for a desktop.
  21. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Deedlit [/i] [B][color=009966]Actually, there is some truth to what Phantom said, but what you say is true too. Many people do stereo-type us as less intellectual, and that is wrong. There are actually very intellegent people down here. But Phantom is right about the dialect being hard to understand. Now I'm not saying by any means that everyone talks like that, but there are several to whom you have to say "Um....can you slow down and say that again?" just to understand them. They just tend to slur their words together a bit. One time we were at a drive-thru at Burger King, and we had to give up and leave because we couldn't understand what the lady was saying. Sorry if that offends you, but it's the truth. ;)[/color][/b][/quote] I agree with you, there are people who tend to slur their language, and I wanted to edit my post and put that in there, but I just didn't feel like it, heheh. There are small communities that have the stereotypical feel to them, but most places I've seen in the south haven't been like that. At least in my area. Once again, sorry for being off-topic.
  22. Here's a quick little thing that I'm still working on. I made a couple of 3D renders and stuck them together. Then with a lot of blending and use of the dodge/burn tool, I put another creation of mine in PS on top of it. I'm still working on it and need to add some typo, but other than that, please rate/critique :)
  23. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Phantom [/i] I would make Canadians the CEO?s of every big American corporation. That way they could all be as successful as American Airlines. I would abolish the [b]southern language[/b] and replace it with English. That way everyone would understand everyone. [/QUOTE] Sorry for being off-topic. I hope by [b]southern language[/b] you mean Spanish. If you're talking about people who live in southern states being less intellecutal, I find that highly offending. The whole stereotype about people living in the southern states is mostly not true, or was sort of true at one point. Take Texas for example. It was, at one point, just many saloons, cowboys, [i]southern language[/i], and as some would consider, ignorance. Since then Texas has evolved greatly. It has a great economy, and some of the largest companies in the world call it home. Such as the DFW Airport, the third largest in America. I detest it when people mock the southern states of America because the the damn stereotypes. It's aggrivating and very idiotic most of the time I see it.
  24. Finally I found some people that have the same problem lol. None of my friends in real life have the problem. Every once in a while, my arm will swing up, or my fingers will clench into my hand, digging into it. One time I even broke my toe because of it. I was sleeping, and I have a futon with a metal frame, so when I woke up, my leg swung out and broke my toe for the second time. I love how it feels when you twitch like this, but sometimes the consequences are bad.
  25. That's hillarious. I love seeing work from both you and Semjaza Azazel. Good job :)
