Originally posted by Boba Fett I'd drop Latin II.
I'm going to go with Sara on this one. If my school offered Latin, I'd jump all over it. I'd drop Trigonometry, but not because I don't like it. Math has never been my favorite subject, but that has forced me to study hard and actually make a waking effort to learn the stuff. All my other classes usually just sink in right away. My teacher was raised in South Africa. He's a great guy. But he can't speak a decent word of english. I'm getting a D in his class this grading period due to this. And whenever I ask him to repeat something he acts all offended and yells. Well, I guess I am kind of dropping the class. I'm switching to a different teacher next semester. Twelve days and counting...

Mr. Samedi, I hope you'll be able to make it back sooner than later. I'll try and prolong it as long as possible, but I'm not going to drag it out until it gets stagnant and falls from the interested eye. Hurry back. Also, I'd like to hear from you, Ms Reyes. Woudl you like to survive this ordeal, or would you like to perish at the hands of some antagonistic foe? Drop me a line. --- The group of three soon became four after they had met up with Van in the Armory. Van handed each of them a 12' Guage Shotgun. Three of the four had begun to walk back down the hallways. Allen- "Hey!" Everyone turned. Allen looked down at his weapon, then at everyone elses. "If you're going to fire these things, you had better make sure you're going to hit what you're pointing at. The slugs from these'll rip hole in the hull I don't think we can repair...." They all nodded. "Let's go. To the bridge, people..." Allen hung behind, turning around every once in a while to make sure they weren't being ambushed from the back. Paranoia. Van- "What was that?" Everyone stopped and leveled their weapons into the hazy light. The power had begun to dim as soon as the thrusters had activated. Allen, Trini, Sam- "What was what?" Van smiled slightly and pointed up ahead. Trini and Sam squinted, Allen remained turned around, still wary of an ambush. Van- "Up there... Fifty feet or so..." Trini lowered her weapon and looked over at Van. Trini- "You can see up there? It's so dark..." Van shrugged and squinted his eyes. Van- "I saw something move... I know I d-" Allen- "Behind!" He thumbed down the single barrel function and fired, a scream of un-human pain echoing through the hallway. "The bridge! We can barricade ourseves in there! Go!" The began running, Allen backpeddling to keep his eyes behind them. Someone in the front fired another round, sending another beast to its death. The birdge swerved into view. "Let's go!" Something large rounded the corner they had just passed. Slithery. It left a large trail of blue muck behind it. "Ruben?" Allen stopped and was grabbed on the arm by Sam. Sam- "Let's go cap'n!" Allen trned and ran into the bridge, Van closing the door behind them.

Oh my... Well... *coughs* I'm hesitant to reply to this at all, but I'm tired and can't excercise judgements as well. First, have you ever considered that she may have some mental disability? I know for a fact that some people of the 'upper class' have such a supiriority complex that they see the slightest flaw in their life as something that must either be covered up or destroyed. Perhaps this girl has some kind of disability or disorder and her parents have never had her checked out for fear of the results. Second, I feel this thread is completely wrong. Not only is it completely demeaning to people that act strangely, no one knows for sure if they have anythign wrong with them. Calling people freaks and weirdos can be extremely damaging to a growing mind. It can cause permanent psycological issues of inferiority. They might never be able to socialize because of being a 'freak' in their own mind. I know that you probably don't call them that to their faces, and if you do you should be ashamed, but still the fact remains that you look down on someone because they are different. Allen- "The three of us are alive... Van... Trini... Ruben... That's it Sam... Van and Trini are in the Loading Bay with Ruben. Look." Allen layed back and closed his eyes, exausted and close to passing out. The screen showed the loading bay through an heat sencing camera. Three human shapes were huddled at the entrance, talking from the looks of it. Allen touched a button, the screen switched from heat sencing to night vision. Ruben was pointing a weapon, a flamethrower, into the loading bay. His eyes were alert and cautious. Trini was weilding a knife and a sidearm of some sorts. She looked fearful and aprehensive. Van was to Rubens left, weaponless but determined. He looked... Different... He had more hair... Allens eyes left the screen. "Van was going to go help you Satell... Help you fight. But you didn't need it." His eyes slipped closed, then opened with a snap. Satell- "What's in there?" Allen- "I don't know... I think something from the Event Horizon..." A blast of fire issued from Rubens weapon. Something blocked out the cameras view. The screen went static. "And it just ate the camera." Allen reached into the pocket on the left arm of his jacket and pulled out a pillbox. He opened it and emptied the two pills into his mouth, chewing twice and swallowing. He clenched his teeth against the bitter taste. Sam- "What was that?" Allen chuckled and stood. Allen- "Just something to keep me up a bit longer. I can't sleep yet, all our guests aren't gone yet." He did a little after you gesture, and motioned Sam and Satell out of the bridge. They stood slowly. Satell- "Amphetamines. Right?" He seemed more awake already. He winked at her. "Let's go. We can help them..." Allen nodded and led them out the door. Allen- "Sam, go to the Loading Bay and help them. Anyway you can." He was beginning to talk very fast. "Satell, you'll come with me. You're tired and energy sapped. You won't be much help to any of us in a firefight, no offence." She shrugged and nodded. "Then let's go." Sam sprinted down the hallways leading to the Loading Bay. Allen watched him go until he was out of sight. "Satell... I want you on an escape pod now. We have seven. One for you. One for Van and Trini. One for Ruben and Sam. And one for me. I want you in there right now. I'm not going to lose you. I'll see you back on earth, ok?" He took off his jacket and draped it over her bare body, their eyes never leaving eachothers. "Please... I can't have you die here. You're too weak... The ship has been infected and it's taking it's toll on you... You won't survive another fight..." Satell- "I know... But I can't..." He intertwined his hands with hers and kissed her lips. Allen- "Please... I won't lose you." He put his arms around her and hugged her tight. She put he head on his chest, his heart beating extremely fast, and put her arms around his neck. She clinched her eyes closed, two single tears squeezing out. Satell- "Ok..." she whispered. He cried into her shoulder and kissed her. Allen- "Thankyou.... Thankyou so much. I love you... And I always will." She kissed him on the forehead and pulled away. They walked down the corridor slowly, arms around eachothers waist. The escape pods came into view, round portholes about four feet across marked their entrances. The pods themselves looked like giant pills, an engine at one end. They were programmed to return to earth after launched. There were two stasis pods in each. The two came to a stop in front of the pod marked 'I'. He hugged her tight, face burried in her neck. Allen pressed the pad and the porthole swung open. He broke the embrace, resting his forehead on hers. Satell- "I love you too." Allen led her in and helped her down onto the first stasis pod. "I'll see you in a few weeks." He bent down and kissed her. Allen- "'Farewell and Godspeed.' " He winked at her and shut the pod, the stasis gel filling the chamber immediately. He left the pod backward, keeping his eyes on Satell as long as he could. "See you soon..." He closed the door and punched the button, small tears running down his face. The pod blasted off, arching toward earth and firing its ion drive. He watched it as long as he could before the ship blocked his view. He wiped his tears and turned around, his heart beating hard and fast. Sam came bounding down the hall. Sam- "Allen! Satell! Come quick! Something's wrong with Ruben! Come on! Where's Satell?!" Allen- "Safe." He wiped his face again and ran down the hallway at Sams heels.

She dug her hand deeper into the things chest, gripped it's spinal column and jerked it forward. The things neck snapped back, seeming to make an audible crack, then fell to the floor. Satell pulled more, each vertebrea splintering and sending shards of bone into the little tissue it had left. It screamed. Satell- "Leave." Its head rolled hideously, angling so it could look at Satell. One of it's eyes had burst, the small white mass laying, rooted to it's cheek. It's remaining eye locked onto hers. Vincent- "Never..." She pulled and twisted, sending waves of agony across the things corrupted body, and snaping it's spine in several places. It screamed. Allen cringed, the scream washing over him like an oceanic wave. She released, the body crumpling to the floor. Satell shrank back to her original form, skin pulling tight. A shimmer rose from the decrepid corpse. Satell- "Leave." A roar filled the air and the shimmer dissapeared in a flash of white light. She hunkered down, slightly worn out. Allen rushed down to her and helped her up. "Allen... It's not finished yet..." He nodded. Allen- "I know... Satell... Are we going to make it through this?" She smiled slightly. Satell- "You will. You will..." Allen- "Let's go... We gotta get to the birdge... I need ot see what's happening..."

Evil. I absolutely hate this little word, outside of stories and fiction. In real life, there is no true good or evil. The world is not black an white. It's shades of grey. There are on truely evil people. There are no truely good people. By many standards, I would would be classed as a good person. But I have several 'evil' qualities. I would do mostly anything to succeed. I would happily crush someones chances if I thought it would better my own. Some of these could be looked upon as simply ambitious. Or, in a slightly more poetic light, evil. I'm sure that Hitler had some good qualities. I don't believe that he was a truely bad man. Yes he did several terrible things, but just look at the things that happen every day outside of your window. Murders, rapes, muggings, robberies, etc... When do the actons of people become truely evil? I don't know. When I meet an evil person, I'll ask them.

I think that that's a great idea Baron. I'll figure something out, but until then please, whoever is interested in surviving (Captain Chubbs will be one) I suggest you somehow make it to an escape pod before Rubens little bite mark gets serious. --- Satell leaned against the wall, pressing as close to it as she could get, almost trying to become one with the metal that birthed her. She dug her fingers into the ridges of the gravity plating. Small streaks of light began forming around the corridor, arching down the wall and into her fingertips. With every streak of light absorbed, she seemed to breath a little harder, gain back a little more energy... Become more determined. Allen glanced at Tex's body, her deep lacerations still oozing half coagulated blood, dark in color and heavy. It seeped into the floorgrating of the Bladerunner. He watched Sam go, his tears mixed with the blood of his love. He turned back to Satell, a layre of sweat covering her bare body, the white lines flowing far more rapidly into her fingers, now dug into the metal of the ship. Satell- "Vincent, I'm giving you another chance. Leave. Back to your Hell dimension. Back to whatever afterlife you are to exist in. Just leave us." A small section of air shimmered as if superheated. A desert road on a hot day. A menacing chuckle rang throughout the air. Vincent- Please. Don't take me for a fool. This is what I was meant to do. I came on this mission out of a sence of good. My true purpose, my destiny if you will, was to become one with the Event Horizon, even if it wasn't a priority of mine. I know far more than any of you ever will. I have seen more than any of you ever shall... Well... Perhaps some of you will. The shimmer grew intence, seeming to throw the wall behind it into a dozen different fractured images, then shot downward to Satell. Allen- "Satell!" Her hands unclinched from the wall, grabbed the shimmer, and pushed. She stood, the cords on her neck standing out, the muscles in her legs straining. Her face was determined, almost willing the shimmering specter away. Satell- "Show yourself spirit." The pocket of air shimmered again, seemed to disappear, then came back as a semitransparent form. It was Vincent, his abdomen a mass of ground meat and a small bullet hole in his head. His hands were pressed against Satell's, nails digging into her supernatural skin. "That's not you. It's what you were." She pushed him away. He would have fallen under normal curcumstances, but rose in the air. "Show your true self." He did a half bow, more out of antagonization than spite. Vincent- As you wish, m'lady. He shimmered again, reappearing as a gaunt, skeletal man. Skin hung from his bones in peach masses, muscle rippling and straining against his ragged and splintered bones. Black liquid dripped from his bloodshot, bright blue eyes. His hair stood on his head in a ragged clump, stringy with oil. His ribs stuck out at odd angles, poking through his skin, giving his chest a pulled look. This is me. He shimmered again and became solid. "How I am now. My enlightened self." He smiled, showing dozens of pointed, blackgummed teeth. He decended on Satell, the tips of his fingers pulling away to reveal razor sharp bone.

Someone was holding a flashlight above his head and shining it down. ??- "Hahahaha... I've gotten like three people with that bit today." Richard- "Ni!!" The man dropped dead. "Bastard..." He walked down a road. Going nowhere in particular. Looking for plants. Trying to control his volatile temper that usually ended up with a dead by Ni!.

Ok. Lynx asked me to. ---- Allen turned from the speakers, a ghost of a smile touching his tired face. Allen- "Sam, let's get out of here. I'd like to make 100,000 feet before the Event Horizon blows." Allen clapped him on the shoulder, the past resolved. Sam smiled back. Sam- "Aye aye cap'n." He reached toward the throttle with his right hand, ready to start it off at about thirty percet fuel consumption. Not that they had much to worry about with the Event Horizon's fuel too. ??- "Alle.... lp.... sti... re..." Sam turned to Allen, his hand frozen over the throttle. Sam- "Did you..." Allen stared at the speakers. Allen- "Yeah, I did hear it... It sounded like Van..." Allens hand went to his temple and rubbed. He was torn. Sam- "But... If he's over there still... Doesn't that mean he's alive?" Allen nodded. It was hard to believe that Van could have gotten out of the Gateway. And even if he had, what are the chances that he would still be himself? Allen- "Slim..." Sam- "What?" Allen shook his head and grimaced. Allen- "How much time do we have?" Sam looked down at the display. Sam- "F... Thirteen minutes. Allen... We have to help him. You know that, right?" Allen nodded. Allen- "I do... But I can't risk anyone else. I've already made so many bad decisions on this mission. I turned it from a salvage operation to a survival... I'll be back Sam." Sam nodded and turned around to watch him go. Sam- "You have eight minutes. I'm leaving after that." Allen gave him a thumbs up and bolted down the hallway to the airlock. It was still in the process of disconnecting. Sam came over the airlocks PA. "I stalled the airlock for you. It's partially decompressed, but should even out once you open the door." Allen punched the door button and listened to it slide open with a hiss. A small whoosh of air propelled him forward and Into the Event Horizon. He took a deep breath, the coolant leak stinging his lungs. The door slid shut behind him. Allen- "Van! Van! Can you hear me?!" Something moved to his left. He drew his pistol and pointed it, not caring a bit if a hole was punctured in this ship. "Van?" A small child stepped out of the gloom. Allen's hand faltered, but he steadied it, the barrel pointing directly at the little girls head. Girl- "Are you the ones that are blowing my home up?" Her fingers started to elongate, the nails sharpening and taking on a metallic tinge. "You shouldn't have done that. We like it here. It's our only ho-" Allen squeezed the trigger twice. The reports were deafening in the small space. With his ears ringing, Allen looked down at the corpse. It was twitching slightly but no blood was coming out of the bullet holes in it's head. He holstered his weapon and jogged down the main corridor. Allen- "Van!" Something rustled to his left, lost in a patch of green fog. "Who's there?" He was feeling hope. ??- "Allen... You came..." Allen- "Van?!" He felt tears stinging his eyes as he dove into the patch of fog. Van was laying there next to a display. He was badly cut, naked and extremely pale. "Van... Of course I came... I'd never leave you behind..." He hoisted Van up and began half carrying him to the airlock. "Are you Van? I don't want to bring you on my ship if you're planning on killing all of us..." Van smiled. He exhaled sharply, a sound that fell terribly short of a laugh. Van- "Allen... Look at my eyes. I'm not here to kill you." Allen did, and saw true. He gave Van a squeeze and pushed him into the airlock. He turned his head, hearing the Event Horizon calling to him. He suddenly wanted back on that ship. He wanted to breath the tainted air. Caress the metal controls. Die with it. "Allen..." He shook off the feeling and turned back to Van. Allen- "I'm ok... Nothing could make me want to leave my own ship, or you guys. Let's go." He opened the airlock door and carried Van through, tapping a display as he went past. "Sam! We're in! Let's go!" Sam- "Yessir!" Allen looked to Van. Van- "When we get back, you'll have to tell me how you got back here." The airlock separated and the thrusters fired. Allen carried Van to the Stasis Pods.

Probably not the best idea to boast about something that's against the rules... But never the less, welcome back. --- Lorn sat up, cautiously, ready to lay back down if anything seemed to prickle his mind the wrong way. He was overcome with a sence of pure happiness. Everything was great. Man... He smiled and grinned at CR. Lorn- "How'd you do that? Get us out I mean." He stood, and looked back at Lorn through confused eyes. CR- "I... uh... I didn't." Lorns smile faultered slightly, but the good mood was far to much to shake off. Everything just felt... Perfect. Lorn- "Ok." He wiped his brow and looked at the small streaks of moisture on his hand. They were tears... "Who..." He looked around the small room. "Where's Ryin?" Electra thumbed behind her. Electra- "She's over there, with Michelle." He nodded. Electra was here... CR too... And Kalipso. Small streams of water were rolling down her face. Lorn- "Kalipso? Did you..." He stood, wavered a bit on his cramped muscles, and walked over to her. She looked up at him still crying with a smile on her face. Kalipso- "Lorn... You're both ok... I was so... so worried" She began to sob. Lorn hugged her close, knowing it was her tears that brought them back from the Crawl Space. A few tears leaked from his own eyes. He looked around the room and motioned for CR to come over. The three embraced eachother. Lorn- "Thankyou so much Kalipso... I don't think I could have taken much more of that place... CR would've made a great companion, but we would have run out of things to say eventually..." Lonliness is the worst kind of tourture...

Well. In June I'm going to have to play a solo piece for my band director determining my final grade. Since I'm extremely sick of procrastinating and waiting until the last minute to practice and play a piece, I though I might ask a few people here on Ob what they think is a good piece of music to play. I'd like to keep the difficulty in the Advaced to Professioal range, though I'll probably end up choosing the Advanced. Oh yes, I also play the Alto Saxophone. Any suggestions?

A funeral, aye... Nah, that's ok. You can just burn me and toss my ashes somewhere or another. Just don't keep them on the mantle. i would hate to think what might happen if they fell down one day and you had to vaccume me up... Eternity in a Hoover... I don't know about that. Sitting there next to the dust bunnies, assorted legos, and Barbie shoes... *shudder* As for funerals, I find the funeral itself to be a pretty fair thing. People congregate in a room decorated with modest, but cheap, paintings and either remember the dead person or say "Hey there! Haven't seen you for about three years, though I wish this had been under better circumstances..." The presentation of a body seems to be a rather vulgar ritual. You dress someone up like they have just been to a wedding, makeup them, pinch, pull, tuck, splint, stitch, break, drain, and pump them just for a look that ends up being absolutely nothing, or very little, like what they've looked like in the past. The end cost, to some a monument, ends up being quite costly and, in my opinion of course, extremely unnecessary. If you loved someone, truely loved them, then why should you subject their loved ones to the tears and grief that is created by it's display? I would much rather remember the deceased family member laughing, smiling, and having fun than in a casket with a bunch of chemicals and other assorted foreign matter in their body. How gruesome. As per my original funeral related opinion, the funeral itself is great. People are generally in good spirits until it comes to the viewing of the corpse, my own experiances remember. I've been talking to people that have been in a very good modd before they've made that small trek to the casket. Then they've come back downtrodden and dreary. In truth, bodies have never bothered me. If I go to funerals, what makes me cry is the other people that are close to me, crying. Mob mentality, if you will. Cadavers, on my recent trip to a morgue, don't bother me. Why should these? They're just cadavers with pancake makeup and sutures in their lips. On the subject of reconstuctive surgery on dead bodies, I'm not quite sure if it was mentioned in the article for I read it rather fast, people can do amzing things. I attended the funeral of a good friend of mine last year. He had commited suicide by placing the barrel of a gun on his left temple. The right side of his forehead was completely gone. But in the casket, his head looked almost normal. You could tell where the reconstuctive plastic had been put but if you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't have seen it. The funeral industry and dermasurgeons are really doing nothing but preying on the mindset of grief and societys in-ability to get over it. And truthfully, more power to them. They're using a completely in-exaustible resource to make their chunk of cash. People will always die. And there will always be people there to make the dead people look good. But personally, I prefer the ancient Gaelic funerals. Everyone get's drunk and sings. :)

What a coincedence, I was thinking about learning the Bass Clarinet. Tenor sax is beginning to bore me a bit. I bet it would be a great Jazz instrument. ;) What an interesting idea... I've never heard of something like a hardship before. Hmmm.... Well, I guess that all you could do is hope that this hardship thing pulls through. Or take Chibi's advice and take the bus. I'm sure Dallas has public transportation of some kind.

Good job paying attention to all the posts people... --- Allen was looking down with surprised delight. He knew Satell would be able to help, but not like this. A tear fell from his eye and impacted the floor with a quiet thud. He put his hands around Satell's shoulders, hugging her. She smiled and hugged back, not looking away from Trini. A crash rattled the area outside the med bay. Allen's head snapped around. He removed his arms from Satell, his face growing dark and worried, and walked to the door. He gripped his sidearm and looked back at everyone. He frowned and pressed the button, the door sliding open with a hiss. He swirved his weapon from side to side, looking for a target. There was none. Allen- "What?" A groan issued from the floor. Allen whipped his weapon down, ready to fire. Ruben layed there, looking at him with pleading eyes and bleeding from his arm. "Oh God..." He dropped his weapon, momentarily registering the fact that it could have fired, and rushed over to Ruben. Bite marks. They were bite marks. Maybe, human. Allen looked over his shoulder. "Someone help!" Tex and Sam came running out. He had one distrustful thought toward Sam, then banished it, remembering the way he had carried Trini through the ship. Tex- "What the hell? Are those-" Allen- "Yes! Not the time though! Help me carry him in." Allen grabbed his shoulders and hoisted him up. Tex and Sam grabbed him by the legs. They moved him into the medical bay and onto a bed. The others rushed over. Satell- "Ruben. What happened?" He looked around blankly, staring at everything and nothing, while trying to clear the shock from his memory. Trini, up and moving, was wrapping his arm in a bandage and injecting his neck with an antibiotic cocktail. The bleeding stopped almost instantly, the blood clotting as soon as the cocktail was in his system. Ruben- "I... I was trying to get back here... I saw..." He closed his eyes, seeming to look into his own brain. "I saw a child. A little girl... She did..." He moved his arm slightly, wincing at the pain. Triuni gave him a shot of morphine. He smiled slightly as the drug began to work. "It was the Event Horizon. The little girl was... She was a monster." Allen put Ruben's head back. Allen- "Sleep. We'll get you better. Just sleep." Ruben smiled again, the drug working on his mind as well as his pain. Ruben- "Ok... Goodnight everyone." He gave them a last smile and drifted off. Allen looked at his watch, fiteen minutes had passed since the Event Horizon's self destruct had started up. Allen- "Shit... Hey, all of you. Lert's go. We have to disconnect from the EH in less than twenty five minutes. It's going to blow. Someone, I though it was Ruben, activated the self destruct. We have to move. Now!" They all sprinted from the room. Trini stayed behind to patch Ruben up even more. Allen headed to the bridge to input the detachment codes, a special feature installed by USAF for security on this mission. He was bounding down the hallway right behind Sam. Satell headed to the engine room, ready to prep the thrusters. Tex ran to the sensor array and input the commands for launch. Allen ran a little faster, the bridge door in sight. He shot a glance at his watch. Twenty three minutes.

Yeah, it might be easier if I knew what a hardship was... But anyway, I've had basically the same experiances as you. I've never been beaten, but I have provoked my father to the point that I was roughly shoved into a wall. My parents are great parents. And they are meant to be with child. Ummm... I have nothing more to say until I know what a harship is.

Flows with grief. Yeah, it does doesn't it. :) To answer your question Mr. Samedi, my ex-girlfriend cheated on my one weekend when I was constantly busy and could not be contacted. For some reason, I blamed myself for the first month or so. Then a friend told me to get my head out of my ass and I did. I broke up with her, but supposedly, it was a mutual decision. I kind of figured, dispite my best attempts and deepest hopes, that we were over. The worst part? I think she might be dating the guy. But it doesn't concern me anymore. Dagger, you hit the nail on the head with every single point. I can't quite believe you looked into my head so well. 'Selfloathing' wasn't purposely spelt like that (I actually considered using two seperate, and different, words) but I wanted to keep with the slight alliteration. And I'm not a big fan of the hyphen. *shrug* After I wrote it and read it over several times, I was confused as to which meaning of 'blind scales of sanity' I meant. I came to the conclusion that it was both. Double-meaning (hyphen, lol) if you will. Thankyou for the praise. :)

I didn't even see that... Thanks for pointing that out Radaghast. I guess I could use the argument that one can still move after being stabbed, but I'll just admit I fucked up. :D --- Allen- "What are you doing you sick fuck?" Kenneth floated in space, his veins bursting and blood leaking from every concievable crevace. He was screaming soundlessly in the vast vaccume. A lost cause. Even if they wanted to, he couldn't be saved... "You had better answer. I have no problem blowing another hole in this ship." A blatant lie, but a good one. Sam stared at the gun that was leveled at his chest, eyes buldging and breath caught in his throat. Tex- "Allen! No!" Tex was running. She grabbed the gun and pointed it to the floor. She put a hand on Allen's arm and tore his eyes away from Sam. "He's ok now... Really." He gave her a questioning look and glared back into Sam's eyes. He looked afraid, slightly confused. "He just saved us. Trini was..." Her eyes widened rapidly. "Trini!" She rushed back over, the gun and the standoff forgotten. Allen looked back to Sam. Allen- "I'm still watching you." He holstered his sidearm and ran over to Trini. She was bleeding furiously, the wound deep. "Jesus..." Tex- "I can't stop the bleeding..." Satell stepped into the room, still partially dressed. Satell- "I... I think I can help..."

The airlock doors hissed closed somewhere behind him. Satell was the only thing that mattered. He rushed across the ship, heading to the medical bay. Satell was getting more pale by the second, and Allens breath was beginning to catch in his throat. The doors hissed open with hydraulic accuracy. Lights turned on, revealing nothing but empty medical beds. Allen- "Trini?" She wasn't there. Satell was starting to wane in and out of conciousness. "Trini?" He scolded himself for thinking saying her name would bring here here magically. He coughed and ran to the intercom. "Trini! Where are you!" Tex came into view, pale and breathing hard. Tex- "Now's not the best time Allen..." She shot a glance over her shoulder. Allen- "It's Satell... Get Trini here no-" The nuerons in his brain flared to life. "Tex! Patch the hole! Now!" She mouthed 'hole', and bolted from the screen. Noises were heard. Screaming. The slow 'shhhhhhhhhh' of escaping air. And the clatter of equipment as Tex threw it aside, searching for a patch gun. Tex- "Got it!" She ran over and pressed the trigger. The gun made a quick liquid noise and the 'shhhhhhhhhh' stopped. Allen whirled around. Satell was sitting on a medical bed, breathing hard wih color returning to her cheeks. He began crying and rushed over to hug her. Allen- "I've almost lost you way too many times today... I think you should stop it..." She smiled and hugged him back, weakly. Satell- "I think I should too."
