7) When you are PM with your order to change worlds, you will post a short post that states you switching between worlds. --- Name: Aikal Olstrom Age: 31 Gender: Male World: Gensine Magic- Fartuné- Creates a type of energy field around Aikal's body, making his skin harder than granite. Árdoné- An inherit ability in his specific lineage that allows Aikal to disperse any room or area of darkness. Vienni- Freezes an enemy, so one can run. Location: Morrowsin Bio: From an extremely early age, Aikal was included in his fathers small buisiness. HE was the one that helped count the money at the end of the day. It was something that he always looked forward to. Him and his father sitting in a room while his father slowly smoke a pipe, filling his nostrils with a sweet smell that would bring fond memories for years to come. The buisiness eventually closed down. They had made enough money to sell the storefront and move closer to the Skye temple, and therefore a more beautiful area. His parents were deeply imbedded into the Skye religon, he was more of a passive worshipper. He has lived a good life. His father died a year ago and cremated in the proper Skye fashion. His mother now lives alone in Knoll. He still resides in Morrowsin, selling and trading random wares.

Malheleco- "Indeed..." He scanned the surrounding area with his newly aquired power. Where in the other world, the floors had showed traces of living things scampering around, this place showed a large amount of death. "Be on your gaurd. If we didn't get attack on earth, we will definitly be attacked here." The four other gave hm a slightly puzzed/fearful look. Feuer- "How many?" Malheleco shook his head slowly. Malheleco- "I can't tell. It's either too many to count, or I can't yet utilize the full potential of this ability..." Feuer nodded and motioned for everyone to continue forwards. Malheeco hung back a bit, listening to the whispers in his mind and shooting looks behind them. He did know one thing. It was night on this world. And his powers itched to be used.

Has anyone ever done something they thought was impossible?

I've been trying to solve these problems through PM's but it doesn't seem to be working very well. The people who come from Gensine, with the exception of DBD (he can't quite get it through his head so I just gave in), do NOT fight. Their magics are NOT used to hurt. From this point on, anyone that signs up excluding those two guidlines will automatically be rejected. Understood?

I survived a head on crash with a Lincoln Aviator and my vehicle (A Ford Windstar) when we were both going sixty. I would have always thought that to be impossible. -
Much better Mr. Daigo. But you still haven't resolved the issue of having weapons and being from Gensine. Incluude the whole gauntlets and Tekken thing in your Bio please. I would prefer not to have too many of the participants in this RPG not know of the gates, however. EDIT: Much better. I'll wave the small issue at hand for the much better bio you've writen. You're in.

Damn, so close and yet so far. I'm just across the lake from all of you. I'll probably end up over there sometime though.

Hmmm... I'm beginning to think I should see the movie...
Originally posted by Hells Fire I don't believe in luck at all ,I believe in fate. Everything is already planned out and there is nothing we can do about it. We can't stop the future from happening all we can do is enbrace it. Some people do have bad fate though. They are fated to die or lose $100 or something. This will happen whether they have "good luck" or bad.
All people die. I simply can't wait untill you experiance a life-shattering event and begin to question your belief, for fate is something I can't make sence of. If everthing is planned out, what's it for? What is the use of fating a small child to starve to death on the street, or a twenty year old man to die of brain cancer? Or, for that matter, why fate Einstein to create the Atomic bomb? It killed millions of people, and i know he didn't make it for that reason so please don't bring it up. Anyway, on to my answer to the original question. I don't believe luck just happens. I believe you can make your own luck through hard work. Just as you make your own bad luck by not working hard.

There is a forum for this, Striker. Suggestions And Feeback However, the best way to get ideas is to view some already made threads and see what rules they invoke. Remember, No Godmodding is already a rule. No need to list it.

For all of history, twins have been looked upon as alternates of the same. One good and one evil. It is the same with every single thing in the universe. Everything. Or so it has been since time began. The Crafters, a race of benevolent omnipotent beings, created a world in their image of perfection. Good. Pure and innocent beings and nothing but pure and innocent beings. It failed. With nothing to balance the planet, the scales tipped too far toward the 'good' side. Their creation tore itself apart. The fabric first crumbled, then disintegrated, leaving the blank canvas that they started with. The solution? Two canvases. Two dimensions of the same world. One innocent and beautiful, and one vile and damnable. For every single person in the world of light, deemed by The Crafters as Gensine, there was another in the world of darkness, called Jahnshen. The balancing of the worlds was maintained for millions of years. On both worlds, a man was born. Faultz. On both worlds he became a priest, though he practiced different things. On Gensine, he praised the lords of the Skye. On Jahnshen, he worshipped Maheleco, the God of Destruction. He became a fanatic about The Crafters, and dedicated his life to the pursuit of their knowledge and proving they existed. So many believed they did not, making the goings rough. On both worlds he was alienated from his practices, though continued to worship. He trudged across the almost identical landscapes of both worlds, gaining bits and pieces of their stories wherever he went. He became entranced with the possibility of another world completely opposite of his own, whether is be a world of peace and prosperity, or of death and disease. At the ripe age of 53, he began practicing an obscure branch of magic known as Temporal Rifting. The ability to tear a hole in space and enter another dimension. It took Faultz seventeen years of constant practicing to be able to open a single gateway by utilizing the very supports that held the worlds together across the dimensional rift.. He did, and both Faultzes met each other in the pathway between worlds. They talked of each others world for days on end, never leaving the small rift each had helped create. The Faultz from Jahnshen was overcome with greed at the prospect of a world so abundant in wealth and no defences to protect itself. He killed the Faultz from Gensine and traveled through his rift and entered Gensine. He was quickly overcome with a hatred for the place, so different from his own and yet so much better. He began destroying everything he could find. He would rape women and kill their husbands and children. He almost succeeded in destroying the entire world of Gensine, but The Crafters stepped in. They destroyed the Jahnshen Faultz and wiped all memory of him from Gensine. They thought that the problem had been solved. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as paradise. The seeds had been planted. Children were being born without an other-worldly counterpart. The fabric of the dimensional rift is beginning to break down. The Crafters have abandoned these worlds for lost. As an attempt to counteract the effects of the 'single entities', the rift created a third world out of complete accident. The appearance of another world, even if it is currently uninhabited, has started to degrade the already damaged fabrics that hold the dimensions (now numbering three) together. Gateways between Gensine and Jahnshen have been appearing more and more frequently. Somewhere on the third world lies the salvation of them all. --- I hope that entranced you. If you are indeed entranced, continue reading. ---
The Towns Cities and Villages of Gensine:
Morrowsin- A city mainly of trade. It is also the home of the largest Skye Temple in all of Gensine. The largest Gensinian city. Jerrik- A middle sized town known mainly for its fine horses and livestock. A small Skye Temple is located here. Seremie- A simple farming town. Cabbage is it's main export. Knoll- A village completely dedicated to the Skye Gods. The Skye Monks grow what little food they eat. To them, starvation helps you get closer to Skye.
The Towns Cities and Villages of Jahnshen:
Somadina- The largest city of Jahnshen, and the most terrible. Their main commerce is the hiring of bounty hunters. The largest Shrine of Malheleco stands in the center of this circular atrocity. Keeven- A farming town. They sell their odd crops to Potions Masters that, in turn, create deadly draughts and poisons. Kreevan- An extremely small village with the most dedication to the God of Destruction, Malheleco. Their singular shrine stands at three hundred feet high and fifty at the base. Selmar- The place to go to for weapons of any kind. Master blacksmiths work here and sell their deadly blades, for a price. --- 1)This RPG will play out in two threads, in an attempt to eliminate a lot of confusion. One thread will be entitled "The Crafters: Deastruction Of Dimensions -=Gensine=-" The other will be the same only with Jahnshen instead of Gensine. A third thread will be made when the gate to the third planet is revealed. You are expected to keep track of both threads, but focus mainly on your own. 2) There are a total of ten (10) singular beings, ones that don't have otherworldly counterparts. Each world (Gensine and Jahnshen) will have five. These are on a first come first serve basis. No exceptions will be made. 3) You cannot automatically switch between worlds. I will private message you when your character, or current group of characters, is to switch worlds. When you switch worlds, you switch threads. 4) I will decide, but not reveal the location of the gate to the third world a little while later in the game. 5) Do not sign up for this RPG if you plan to disappear for long periods of time without posting. This is gong to require a level of commitment. 6) Also you cannot kill your character. If you desperately want this to happen, contact me through the PM system and explain to me why. I will have someone else do it for you. :demon: 7) When you are PM with your order to change worlds, you will post a short post that states you switching between worlds. ---
Signups
Name: Age: Older than 17 please.
Originally posted by Aku-ma Evil ...and sometimes i can even see the future when im trying to imagine things, not that far ahead though...
It's called precognition. And from the matter-of-fact way you stated this, I highly doubt you have it.

I don't believe you're going mad. I don't have anything, as of yet, to be outrageously proud of. I guess I could say paying the Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophones is a good one, but honestly I didn't find it all that hard. I'm sure something will come to me.

I'm an extremely active biker with an extremely active imagination, so no, I can't do it without tensing my leg muscles. However, before you said pushing back on the pedals, my hand tensed. I have a brake lever on the righthand side of my handlebars. Most of the time I can imagine things without including my bodily movements in them, but sometimes it's hard. Overactive imaginations sure are a *****.

OOC: Nice post SF. :) --- Malheleco- "Smells... New..." Feuer stared at him strangely, but kept walking down the pathway. Feuer- "What?" Realizing he was still wearing his thermal gear, and that the cavern was quite warm, he began taking them off while continuing to walk. First his helmet (the visor had long since slid into it's compartment withing the helemt), then his chest gear and gloves. He kept his black thermal pants on, but removed the first, heat-keep layre. He strode through the cave, a great deal more comfortable, in a black button-up shirt and black cargo pants. Malheleco- "New. It's smells new... Alive maybe... But more than just alive. I can sence the energy. Concentrait, all of you." Mizu gave him a reproachful look as the group stopped, but shut her eyes anyway. "It's not in the air... It's in the ground." Aarde- "My god... It does smell new..." Malheleco nodded. Malheleco- "It's different than before. I remember little, but this place always felt and smelled old, in my memory. Somethings... Not quite right." The small group of outlanders came to the second of the four forks in the road. Himani- "I'm going to guess this is yours, Malheleco." He nodded grimly, a slight sensation of anxiety prickling the hair on his neck. Malheleco- "So it is..." There was a ring of black marble placed in the ground, and continuing around the entire entrance, of the tunnel. The tunnel on the other side of the ring could not be seen. There seemed to be some kind of oily black liquid blocking the way. It looked like a single pane of black glass had been placed in the way of both paths. Malheleco had seen this but once before. It had been in the Temple of Faultz, back in their world. It was used to keep people out. And it did it's job very well. Mizu- "Anytime you're ready..." He glared at her momentarily and walked up to the lefthand path. Slowly he inserted his right hand into the Dark Barrier. The color began to drain rapidly from his arm. His veins stood out all over. Malheleco withdrew his arm with a strenuous jerk of his arm. He collapsed on one knee breathing extremely hard and rubbing his completely white arm. The little color he originally had returned. Feuer gave him a slightly troubled look. Feuer- "Are you ok?" He nodded and walked over to the other barrier and thrust his right arm in again. It drained of color, again, and Malheleco's face contorted in pain. He screamed as the field crawled up his arm and covered his body. The screams rose to an unimaginable octave as it seeped it's way into his skin, sinking into his pores and entering his very essence. Images flashed before his eyes. A building in flames, obviously one of his worlds buildings. It crumbled underneath the blood red flames. Necromancer flames... FLASH A man being beheadded. His flace was blurred, not by a hood or hair, but simply blurred. Almost as if something didn't want him to see the face of the soon to be purgatorial man. FLASH A flower. Perhaps a daisy, one of the few flowers native to both worlds. But it was black... Malheleco's scream died out suddenly and he collapsed from his standing convulsion. The group walked cautiously toward him, fear coating them like fresh paint. His breathing was shallow and raspy. His body twitched at odd places and in odd angles. Mizu- "Malheleco?" His eyes sprung open suddenly. Where there used to be relartively normal eyes with simply pure black iris', there now was nothing but black. A small white iris surfaced before their fearful stares. It grew to a normal size. A small black pupil popped into existance. He blinked once, twice. Very suddenly he stood. Everyone took a step back, starteled from the sudden movement. Himani- "Your, eyes... Are you ok?" Malheleco nodded and smiled, a rare thing. Malheleco- "I've been endowed with 'second sight'. Tis Necromancer level magic. I can see where the living, and dead have recently been." He glanced around. "And this place has been crawling with living things, extremely recently. I suggest we hurry. It's this way." He began walking down the righthand path. The group, after a rather odd moment, followed. As soon as Malheleco had his back to them, his smile dissapeared. Something had entered his mind along with his new powers. Something that felt awfully familiar... But he couldn't put his finger on it... As long as it was under control, it wasn't a problem.

Malheleco- "Play one more note and I will personally rip that instrument from your hands and destroy it. Music does not sooth my soul, if such a thing exists." He stood and walked a good distance from the others. A few mumbles drifted toward him, but nothing he could, or cared to, make out. Hopefully the others wouldn't be as 'chipper' or musically inclined as the recently arrived. He took the sphere out of his pocket and began shifting it from hand to hand. Such a thing it was, yet he knew so little about it. Able to draw him to a place such as this in one of the most deadly wastlands in the world. Amazing. And what is the actual purpose of this small, round, black ball? A guide? A passport? A key? Perhaps none... Or all. He pocketed the sphere again and sat down. He made a slight motion with his hands. A kind of black light pushed snow around his upper body, making a kind of reclining snow bank. He layed back and closed his eyes. It was going to be a while.
-
He looekd out through the visor of his thermal helmet. How cold it was. Snow whipped across the barren desert tickling the few sparce plants that dared sprout in this wasteland. Nothing did he spy. Nothing did he hear, save the howling of the wind. The snow masked everything, diminishing the sound to nearly nothing. It was almost remeniscant of the Sahara. Malheleco- "Close..." He felt the pull of the gate. It wrapped a hand around his mind and pulled. The sphere in his pocket grew warmer with every step. He clasped his hands around it and squeezed, thankful for the warmth. Malheleco scaled a particularly large snow-dune and looked in the direction that the unseen force drew him in. The sphere in his pocket gave a sudden jump as his eyes landed on a figure sitting in the snow. He smiled, feeling relieved. At least this part of the journy was over.

OOC: *nods* ---------- Kensuke- "Nariko..." She looked at her brother with a mixture of fear and confusion. His face was completely placid. But inside, Kensuke churned like an ocean during a hurricane. But he wouldn't let Nariko see that. "I want you to take what I'm about to say completely to heart. Do not take this lightly. Daisuke is a..." He shook his head. "I can't explain what he is in words that are not deroggatory and wrong. But he is a waste of time. I want you to put him out of your mind as best you can. If you truely want him, take him. I won't like it. It will be hard for me to live with it, but I will. But right now, we have far more important matters to deal with. If you can't get rid of this infatuation at least put it on hold." He stood up and left the room quickly. "Nariko..." He left the house and turned down the road, taking a walk. Bum- "Gottaquata?" Kensuke emptied the change in his pockets into the bums hands and kept walking. In truth, he wasn't even sure if all the change added up to a quarter. But it didn't really matter. He needed to clear his mind. Too much... He sighed as he found himself on a pier, overlooking a rather small, but public, lake. He removed his shirt and shoes and dove in. The water was cool and clear. He floated on his back and began watching the clouds.
-
Colors danced in front of his eyes. A large glob of blue being overtaken by yellow, then red. Then green. An amazingly simple, but highly entertaining, exercise. Some of the simplest things in the world were the best. Ryan- "Come in..." He whispered under his breath. The door to his 'room' opened and a gaurd wearing a blue riot suit deposited a tray of food on his desk. Gaurd- "Morning Mr. Schezar. How ya doin?" He closed his eyes, the colors dissapearing. The gaurd was the same one that had been bringing him his food for the last three years. They had actually had a few good conversations in that time. Though it was severly against regulations to befriend the test subjects. Ryan looked to the clear plastic visor and into the mans eyes. Ryan- "Terry... You know you can call me Ryan. I've known you for a long time. I would think we're on a first name basis." Terry chuckled and lifted the lid on the food. A puff of steam issued from it and was imedately sucked up by the ventilation system. "What's on the menu?" Terry- "Some kind of pasta, cheap beef, brocoli stems, and as always, that half pint of milk. Enjoy, Mr. Schezar." He winked at the captive as he closed the door. Ryan- "Same old ****..." He walked over to the plate and scraped it into the garbage, taking only the milk back over to his cot. He sipped at it thoughtfully as he felt a mind enter the level he was being held on. It was a dense mind. One that was accustomed to taking orders without question and carrying them out indefinately. It was Kaleb. One of Vormirs top advisors. But something was different this time. He downed the rest of the milk and tossed it into the garbage, nudging it slightly to make sure it went in. The door opened right before Kaleb got in front of it. "Please, come in Mr. Bormor. I trust it was me you were comming to see." He grimaced and walked in. Kaleb- "I have an assignment for you." Ryan smiled. Ryan- "I figured. I was wondering one thing though. Why is it that I have been moved to a different facility? And why have I not senced anyone but you and my food gaurd for almost a week? The scent of that air also seems rather stale." Kaleb- "You do not ask questions. This is your assignment. You are to search and destroy a group of Altered individuals. Last report I had there we're three. However there could be more. Vormir has been compromised. You have exactly seventy hours to complete this assignment. Failure to do so will activate your implant and kill you. Last reports also show that the group is about 500 miles west of here. Understood?" Ryan nodded. Kaleb left, leaving the door ajar. Ryan- "Well, it's a chance for some fresh air."

Definitly go to the doctor. Diabetes isn't something to mess around with. Unfortunately I don't have it, but I have known many people that do. From what you descibe, it could be a number of things. It could be diabetes, but it coud also be some funky virus or cold. I'd still reccomend that you go get it checked out.
