5. A few survived the New York attack, including Valen and Karina. ColorDeaf's char and The Unholy Newts character also survived, although I think ColorDeaf is in Mexico City while TUN is crawling from beneath some rubble with Valen and Karina watching. Oh yeah, I'm weak as hell. ------------------ The Siguls. That is what this was all about. Satan thought that there was one in New York. He was wrong. Siguls are humans with unawakened holy power. It courses through their veins. There are nine. I had destroyed three since the siege began. I was lucky with the first. It was a scientist at the site of the fissure. I killed him as I rose into the light of Earth. He was examining the make up of the strange gas that was emenating from the huge crack in the earth. I had been shocked, so quickly had one been killed. Surely it was an omen of how easy this conquest would be. I turned my head weakly Ryan- "Or not..." In fact, this was growing steadily harder everyday. It wasn't the lack of soldiers, all demonic souls were willing to fight. It was the lack of quality. Back in the middle ages we had a surplus of violent, evil, hate-filled, malice-imbued warriors. Sadly, they are nearly depleted. I used many to kill the Siguls I had found in the middle ages. They were well known and even more highly protected then. I believe I witnessed a few Arch Angels in the battle for the first. The second came easily enough. She used a bit of magic and was accused a witch. They tried to burn her, but one of my minions had shot her with an arrow first. Six more. Perhaps there would be one here, in Mexico. If not I would have to consult the Oracle, and I could not stand his arrogant, all knowing self.
6. I sat up groggily. I had been sleeping since I had got there. I stood and immediately collapsed to one knee. What a pitiful state I was in. I clenched my fists. I felt a little more blood seep from my marrow. I stood, and this time maintained my broken posture. I walked over to, and gazed down, the stairs to my room. Death Knight was gone. Something about an Ancient... I shook my head attempting to clear it. Instead I was delt a wave of vertigo. The world spun around me and next thing I knew, I was on my back. I couldn't peer into my mind yet. I was too weak. Zelfoh walked up the stairs. Zelfoh- "Sir! What are you doing up?" I groweled lowly and allowed her to help me back up to my bed. How I hated to be bedridden... How long would it be before I could destroy Mexico as well? I turned over and moved a hand to my pocket, where the vials sat and moved my hands over them, one by one. Five, six, seven, ei... I was missing one. Where was it? I would sleep no more that day. Instead, I walked back over to the stairs and stood there. I clenched and unclenched my fists, sending more and more blood. i needed to get down those stairs. I uttered a small and malicefilled laugh. Why should stairs be such an obstical when I can destroy entire cities in seconds?
7. "You're wrong about the whole God thing!" Is what I would say if I didn't have respect for peoples religious beliefs. But I do, so I really like the hymn. It's good. Not as long as most, but still very good. And I don't suppose you could put up a Mac copy of the midi. Damn 'Stuffit Expander' prog won't unstuff the zip file.
8. OOC: That's how I felt ColorDeaf, I steped out for a few hours and it was already close to 50 posts. -------------- IC: The mans energy wasn't staying with me. I swayed on the road and collapsed. The place with the Alter was draining. I'm not quite sure why I had felt the need to find Death Knight so suddenly. Pehaps it was the loss of control... I shrugged and looked down the road from my place on the asphalt. Distances seemed different when I walked. Space seemed to be pulled tight and then released in a contracting snap. I would be in one place, then the next step I would be 100 miles away. I got to my knees and pulled out the stone. What a glorious thing it was. I carresed it lovingly. A small animal ran across the road. I grabbed it with a swiftness unheard of by man, and squeezed it untill blood trickled onto the small green stone. It pulsed red. Ryan- "Death Knight... Come, I'm weak..." I put it back in my pocket, not botherng with the mind link. I felt his aura give a cosmic sigh. I let my eyes slip closed. I hadn't entered real sleep in many years... But New York had been so large. Maybe just a bit of rest...
9. Ryan- "But you are already dead..." I scoweled. He was weakening. One more chance I would give him. One more and only one more... I could not afford to lose a trusted man... Action was required. I removed the stone and again dripped some of my blood on it. "Ki'Lin toch Mileihn..." A rip, much like the one Death Knight uses, appeared in the air. I stepped through. The rush was exilirating. I was reeling through space. Then my feet landed on the ground. I stepped out to the strange alter. Not many knew of this place. I walked up to the table and layed down on it. I closed my eyes and let the dark power wash through me. I saw everything. I saw everyone. I saw everywhere... but one place. That was where Death Knight was. I knew where it was now... But could I enter it? Or did I want to? I exited the strange place and contiued my journey. Soon I would contact Death Knight again...
10. I was weak... It always takes a lot out of me... I staggered down the streets of New York. I should have been out in less than an hour. I was going on three. My hand contiually drifted to one of the many black vials in my pocket. I didn't want to. They were rare. I needed to save them for when I really needed them. On a brighter note, the siege of Mexico was going well. I felt it. A few more days and it would be controlled completely. A young man staggered out of a felled building and up to me. Man- "Mister... Mister... My family... My girlfriend... They are in the building. Help them. Please..." I looked at him with narrowed eyes. He was full of sadness and pain. A good energy source. Ryan- *Grunt* "I will do you one better my good man. I will take you to them." The mans eyes lit up. He looked to the building. Man- "They are alive! I knew it! I knew-" I shoved my blade through his face. His body twitched and fell limp to the ash covered ground. I senced/saw his soul rise from his body. I held up one of my arms. The black sapphire of my gauntlet glinted and absorbed it. I felt energy wash through me. It wasn't much, but it would allow me to move faster. I straitened my posture and contiued walking.
11. Corey

Trust Co.

Korn was sold out... I didn't get to go! *cries*
12. I strode into the large office building. It was bright. I looked through my human eyes and saw the receptionests desk. I walked up and gacve her an oddly unhuman smile. Ryan- "I would like to apply for a job." She regarded me with little interest and handed me a form. At the top it said 'Paranormal INC Employment Request Form'. Under that it said name. I filled that out, along with age sex and other physical information. I stopped at one box. It said race. I grimaced and the woman at the counter looked at me. Receptionist- "We don't discriminate here. Shape Shifters are welcome as well." I smiled at her. She had just solved my problem. I put down 'Shape Shifter' and handed her the form. The put in into a slot and I went and sat down.
13. OOC: I'm not trying to kill anyone off. Just part of the story. ---------------- The smoke made me feel more at home. I inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of burning flesh and brimstone. I opened my closed eyes and found myself at the center of the city. Time seemed irrelevant when a war was happening. The Humans would use Nuclear Weaponry soon. Just another easier way to hurt this world. I looked up at the dust-choked sky. Hopefully all of my generals had departed the city. I knew Death Knight had. I could feel his Aura all the time. I smiled. A rare thing to cross my face. I picked up the stone, from my pocket, again and ripped a small cut on my arm. I dribbled a goodly amount on it before closing the wound in a puff of black flame. The stone glowed completely black. Ryan- "Master, I'm ready." The stone pulsed in my hand. Satan- "Go, Ryan. You may do it. All are evacuated." I smiled even more and put the stone back into my pocket. I dropped to my knees and brought out the Loche Tao Blade and plunged it into the cement ground. It immediately started to glow black. I opened my eyes and sliced my palms with a sharp piece of glass lying there. I clasped my hands over the blade and watched the blood flow down the black silver. The glowing increased and became a string pulse. My heart beat faster, the pulsing quickened. The blood poured from my fists much like water from a tap. My heart quckened even more. Sharp pains began to run down my left arm. I began to twitch. The bloodflow had increased even more. My heart was beating so fast. So fast... Fast... My vision became blurry. A black sheet covered my eyes. The blood stopped as suddenly as it started. My heart contiued beating ungodly fast, yet in vain. I felt a large consussion rock my chest. My eyes shot wide open. Ryan- "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" My heart exploded in my chest. The black pulse, which had grown to the size of a small office building, exploded outward, destroying everything. It flew throught the city, demolishing buildings and ripping the very earth apart. All life, angel, human, and demon, was extinguished by that wave of destruction. I saw it all. Everything that was destroyed, from the roaches to the angelic beings. It all flowed into my sword and down to Hell. I fell to my back, no more than a lifeless corpse. Slowly, the sword stopped pulsing. Slowly, my heart reconstructed itself. Slowly, life was breathed back into me by my Master. My soul was forced back into my body. I sat up slowly. I hated to do that. I hated dying. But I loved death. And death is what I did the best. It had not worked perfectly though... Some had survived. They always do... I stood up and started walking down to Mexico.
14. OOC: God... I leave to do a bit of biking and to pick up my check, and look what happens. My RPG gets a fire lit under it's butt. ----------------- IC: The fight was indeed intresting. Death Knight would have won. Medra would fight well, but I had watched him too many times. His style was predictable and slightly boring. I hopped off the roof of the building and landed with a slight pain in my outstretched wings. The fight was going well, even if Death Knight had destroyed a fourth of my, His, army. I brought a small stone from my pocket and wiped a bit of blood from the street on it. It glowed a violent red. Ryan- "Death Knight, I need to talk with you." I put the stone away, and within a minute a large slash in reality appeared before me. I had taken him away from the place with the waterfall... I could not find where it was though. Death Knight stepped out. "You have dissapointed me, friend. I saw you 'save' the children. Were your orders not clear? Spare no one." Death Knight- "..." I shook my head and took out a small black vial. Ryan- "Do you know what this is? It's blood of Satan Himself. I do not distribute this freely. I have to be given permission by Him. Take it. The next time you fight an Arch Angel, you will not fail." Death Knight took it and put it in a pocket of his armour. "Now for your next assignment. Go to Mexico. There will be an army waiting in the Gulf. Do not fail us again." I turned away and heard Death Knight rip into the air. He wouldn't go to Mexico first. He would attempt to go back his little friend. I gripped the small stone in my pocket and closed the link to his mind. I sighed and started walking to the middle of the city, I still had buisiness to attend to.
15. I sat perched on top of the large statue that the people of Earth called The Statue Of Liberty. Human life was so fragile. With one brisk twist of your hand you could end it. With one smal twich of your sword you could extinguish it. I smiled as I watched the barren streets below. They all have been ordered by the President to stay indoors, "Where the beasts cannot reach you" is what the stupid man had said. It just makes my job easier. I stood up straight and raised my arm in the air. Tens of thousands of demons flew up from the ocean at my command. They hovered, high in the air, waiting for my signal. I closed my eyes and smelled the day. For a full minute I stood, taking in the last fresh breath of air this city would have for a long time. I opened my eyes. They had turned from mellow blue, to a blazing Halloween orange. Ryan- "Go..." I whispered. The Demons shot through the air toward the city. Some blasted through the statue, crumbling it's supports. The large figure of a woman started to tilt. I moved back a little so to stay parralel with the ground so far below. A large crunch echoes throught he air, and the top of the staue and I were freefalling. I gripped my tattered wings to slow my decent. Air ballooned under them giving me a small dose of pain. They never will fully heal. The large metal woman crashed to the ground. I landed on it's broken face and looked toward mainland. My fleet was doing it's job. Buildings were on fire, some already collapsed from the heat. And not a one of my soldiers were destroyed. I let a smile creep across my lips and jumped in the ocean to swim to the land.
16. *Waves the smoke away* Cough! Cough! To Neil: Things Fall Apart To EpSsy: Yes To Juu, Raiha, and Neil: *Snatches assorted alchoholic beverages away* All for Corey... Ok, I've got everyone I need. Let's get this thing rolling.
17. A very good poem Evelyn. :)
18. BREEP BREEP! BREEP BREEP! I sat up in my bed and turned off the alarm. Us Greys were much like humans. We needed sleep, food, and entertainment. And we also needed a few more minutes of sleep. I layed back down and close the large black lids of my eyes. Seconds drifted into minutes, and minutes into hours. Before I knew it Earths yellow sun was peeking out from the other side of the planet. I squinted my large eyes and stood up. Today I would go down to Earth. It would be quite the adventure. I stepped into a small enclosed space. A light flashed and a low beep signaled me to get out. I had just taken the earthly equivalent of a shower. I walked over to a small panel and punched a series of commands into the console. A small piece of machinery appeared on a small outcropping of metal. I took it, put it on, and pressed a button. My body glittered and then changed to a human form. I smiled with my odd human features a =nd walked over to the trasporter pad.
19. Thanks Juu, I thought it up one day in English when I was supposed to be reading a novel. God is that book boring.
20. *Laughs!*
and in this day, the music forum shall stand on it's own.
Oh God I hope not. If the Adventure Arena were to be destroyed I think i would commit suicide.
21. I'm thankful that this schoolyear is going well enough so that I don't have to dedicate myself completely to schoolwork. Also I'm thankful for my job.
22. *Smiles at Raiha and deletes prior post* Yup, I did.
23. Wow, this is turning out to be a lot more popular than I thought. I'm assuming your Human colordeaf, right? One more person and I'll start this thing. Oh and Char!, I'll keep a spot open for you. EDIT- Flash... What the hell is your avatar?
24. I looked at the screen. What was that? Tommy had called it a monster. I didn't believe in monsters. Still, it didn't look like anything man could create. I looked at Tommy, then back at the thing. Ryan- "You want me to fight that thing? Are you insane?" Tommy looked at me and smiled. He tossed me a helmet. Tommy- "Your a Ranger now, Ryan. Your strength is much more than it was when you don that 'blue leotard', as you called it. You can beat it. Now go, and do your duty as a Power Ranger." He beamed at me. I looked back with narrowed eyes. Ryan- "If I die..." Tommy- "You won't. Now go." I was surrounded by blue light and was suddenly in front of the creature. Monster- "A Power Ranger! I though you were all extinct. Is Zordon still recruiting youths for his dirty work?" Ryan- "Who? I don't know what, or who, you're talking about. I'm supposed to destroy you, ok. So why not just go away and I won't have to." The thing laughed. Monster- "You! Destroy me! Ha! Come at me then, Ranger." He spoke the last word with a little sneer. I shut my eyes inside of my helmet. I broadened my mind to the immediate area. I saw myself, the rubble around us, but I could not find the monster. I snapped my eyes open to see him advancing on me with incredible speed, one of his burly arms raised. I blocked and rolled out of the way. He came at me again and connected with my left shoulder. I sunk to the ground in a heap. Once again words formed in my mind. Ryan- "Zeo Pistol!" A gun-like weapon formed in my hand. I pointed it up at the hulking figure above me and pulled the trigger. The energy blast hit the creature in the leg, tearing it off. It came down on me. I fired again, this time at point-blank. The things body tensed, and then relaxed. I shoved it off grimacing at the black blood that had gotten on my leotard. I was again surrounded by the light and was flying through the air.
