1. 1) Do you feel more comfortable... a) in the crowd b) in the outer edges of a crowd c) away from the crowd on the back wall a 2) If you could be one of any of these three jobs, which and why? a) fireman b) policeman c) airplane pilot uhhhh......... :twitch: I dunno...... um, a. I guess because, it's still a service to the community, and as opposed to police work, firefighting would be more predictable. 3) What size shoe do you wear? 7-8, it depends on the shoe. 4) (Ah I can't think of anymore) What happens at the end of Monty Python & The Holy Grail? (God Bless them all.) BWAHAHAHA! I remember it. :D THEY ALL GET ARRESTED!
2. my dad. for multiple reasons. it makes me sad though, seeing as I'll be moving out in only a year, and I never had the kind of fulfilling relationship I've always needed.
3. Friend: Stereotype: (somehow, I knew I'd get this one...... ) Mage: RPG:

Infomercials

What I think is dumb is how they'll go on and ON about the smallest and pointless knick-knacks, like 'special' screwdrivers or a gadget for hanging up your forks so they don't crowd your spoons, or some such nonsense. All that wasted money that could have been going to a better cause in the economy..... quite sad.
5. My Jedi name....................... Vanan Stwes :therock: interesting..... my porn star name would be Lizzy River.
Originally posted by wrist cutter The best way to get someone to listen to something they are unsure of is to make it easily accessible, so nobody has to do any work in order to try it. Because, well, they won't.
Okay, here's a more specific link http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/210/five_oclock_shadow1.html I hope some of you will check this out. :toothy:

A Cappella

.............. okay no one throw anything at me.... How many people here like a cappella? ... Okay, how many people have actually heard a real a cappella group? Rockappella, Five O'Clock Shadow..... spiralmouth?? Am I yet again alone? :grumble: :nope: *sighs* Well, I've just been introduced to it myself. I highly recommend it. Most a cappella groups are college groups, and then there are a few rather well-known professional groups out there. The thing that is soooooooooooo awesome about it to me is the 'vocal percussion'. :wow: GAH!!! How someone's mouth can sound like a double-bass drum set is beyond me... it's incredible y'all. It sounds like a full band, but it's all people, no instruments. Go look up Five O'Clock Shadow at http://www.mp3.com just go check it out.... it won't kill you..... :shifty:
9.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka I really could just not imagine Piro or Anna listening to anything besides punk and just liking it more. It's just not them at all...it's so funny. I think Piro was a big influence on Anna and the music she listens to, as well. That's where she found out about MP3.com, and she used to practically live there...(and I think she still does...)
Yep, I do. ^_^ Although I've grown tired of it; I've pretty much searched out their entire inventory of good music, now it's time to find another resource. And I do give Piro a good bit of credit for my punk influence. I had a friend I was close to who liked MxPx, and he introduced me to punk. From then on I had liked it, but I didn't know where to get more punk music or which punk bands were good, that sort of thing; because I wasn't about to go and just buy 'punk' cds at random. Then I checked out one of Piro's old sigs with mp3's in 'em, and from then on I've been able to really discover punk music. Only problem is a lot of the major bands like Voodoo Glow Skulls, Bouncing Souls, etc. aren't available for download >_
10. Heh................ Hanson was my first concert. I was in 7th grade, quite a while ago..... then I saw BBMak. They were okay, it was a local concert and didn't cost a whole lot. I would be going to all the major kick-butt concerts like the Music Midtown in Atlanta *weeps* but I can't afford it... see if I want something, it's up to me to pay for it. My parents don't pay for anything not school related, and I don't have a job cuz I 'm always so busy w/ school. Anyways, Music Midtown went on about two weeks ago............................ I COULD HAVE SEEN 311!!!!!!!! :bawl:
11. :wow: it's Voodoo................. hi! I would just like a big tree 'cause I never had one nearby when I was growing up. But whenever possible I would always climb as high up as I could, so no one else could find me. I'd like that sometimes......... somewhere no one can reach you...
12. :therock: I do not know of that Space Monster song.... lol, and I think I'd remember if someone was going around going WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SPACE MONKEY BAKER or whatever. I didn't get to see who the number one one-hit-wonder was, but I'm guessing it was macarena. I remember A-Ha's song Take On Me. I actually liked that song. And Whip It by Devo, ... there were some others I was going to mention but I can't remember them now.
13. lol, lemme tell you about my experience; it was classic. We all went to see it, and there had been a storm hanging over everything pretty much the whole day. Well, we're sitting in the theater, and the movie starts. About a minute or two in to the opening credits, the power goes out. No joke. We were all looking at eachother like, 'you've got to be kidding'. After a while the power comes back on and the movie starts again. We sat in the very front row, were the emergency exits were because there wasn't room anywhere else. Well, throughout the movie at various intervals, the door would open............. completely on its own, and it'd stay open until the wind pushed it close again. Like I said there was a storm going on outside, so I'm guessing the emergency exit doors were made to be easy to open, and the wind currents were definately playing with that. But you just don't know how FREAKY that can be watching a movie like that, and at the most intense moments the door would open and the lights in the theater would flicker.... that was pretty cool.

I've never killed anyone intentionally, though I've plotted out various murders for various people before. All in good fun though, all in good fun. ^_^ (I'm not really like that. Honest.) My mom has the same allergic reaction thing with nuts also, and I can't spell it: anapheleptic shock (that's what it sounds like :shifty: ). She has a needle/shot kit that she has to keep with her in case she eats anything with nuts on accident. She can't have anything w/ peanut oil, and she can't have food that's even been around it, or she'll die in like, 10-15 minutes. Kinda scary...
15.
Um, well, I suppose my favorite genre is "pop-rock". But I doubt any of you are familiar with exactly what I'm talking about, because pop-rock in the states either has too much punk influence or is just pop with occasional guitars (which isn't too bad I suppose). It's a genre that isn't really too popular in America unfortunately. But if I were to join a band, I'd wanna play all sorts of genres. Speed metal, ballads, medium tempo rock songs... I wouldn't want to limit my creativity.
That's cool. Where do you live anyway? And I suppose if pop rock isn't what I've heard here in the states, then no I don't think I'm familiar with the kind of pop-rock you're talking about. Do you mean like, umm..... say Collective soul? I guess they have a little pop in their sound, especially now  I can't stand when people sell out. Have you seen the new album cover?! 40-year old men sporting a Backstreet Boy ensemble..... I wouldn't mind as much 'cause image is nothing (thirst is everything :toothy: sorry) but their sound has followed their looks.... downhill. Anyways, back to topic; yeah specify what you mean by pop-rock, I'm interested.
16. I hate to fail. Failure is the hardest thing for me to except. If I had my mind set on accomplishing something and then the opposite happens,..... I mope over it for days, especially when it's out of my hands. Like exams today for example........ *weeps* The only two I actually studied for and need to pass I flunked; one for sure anyway, and I'm not counting any lucky stars for the other. All the others I did NOT study for I passed. What awful irony that twists about my fate........ lol, I felt like being poetic. :stupid:
17. ehm, sorry to hear that. What is your musical preference?? I myself love punk music, but not the kind that sounds like every other band... the generic and monotonous stuff that lacks originality. Same with alternative... seems like the only thing different with all these bands are their names. Well, sorry you're disappointed in your school's main genre...... I'd help ya if I could buuuut.... I kinda can't. ^_^
18. ehhh...... I'd plant.... rasberry bushes!! And a good climbing tree, I guess an oak of some sort.
19. lol............................. heh, I can't think of anything else to say. FF old boy, sorry you're getting the wet side of the noodle from the kitchen. If I could throw you a bone of advice I would, but politics isn't my area. Best of luck on getting here........ and when you do, leave your mark on a bridge or something, make it memorable. :)
Thats why I like Chop suey coo guitaring and drumming but i think the lyrics on some part didnt make since.
Um, well for System of a Down's lyrics to make sense to some people, you have to know their takes on politics and their symbolism/metaphors.......
Originally posted by Amphion I dont like them but they are neccesarry. My favorites are the Mellow Yellow Commercials on how to stay smooth. Man you can learn so much from them!!!;)
aaaaaaaaahh!! that reminds me of the Mountain Dew commercial that's a spin-off of Queen's Bohemian Rapsody!! *I see a little sillouette-o of a can: Mountain Dew! Mountain Dew!...*

commercials......

I don't like commercials as a whole, even though they are necessary -__-. Ooh, one I like is when there's a scene on a street where this guy has a booth and he's calling out random phrases..... "'Don't go there.' 'Don't go there', one dollar" "'Get a life', one dollar" and then a person will come up and ask if he has, "Don't worry, it happens to all guys", and the seller says, sure. So he takes the dollar and gives them a wind-up talking doll, and then the person puts it on the ground and stomps on it 'til it's smashed to pieces. It's a Snickers commercial I think. I don't mind commercials as long as they're funny/weird. I hate local car dealer commercials..... >_<
23. yeah I haven't watched it myself since there was no more Scully and Mulder (btw, I don't think that's spelled right... ??). I used to be an avid viewer, but not really anymore....
24. Feh, I see this as a bunch of kids putting down Disney to make themselves feel older. LOL! :haha:

I'm sure he'd be much more interesting. But since you're not old enough to get into a club, my second advice is to find another guy in school, or ride your bike to another town and find a guy there.
