I think it's best to hold the awards in January and have them based on the prior 12 month period (kind of like the Oscars lol). Well, I understand there will be an "Otaku Awards" thing. But not much else. What will the winners actually win? A custom title, or something of that sort? What categories will there be? Best Grammar, Best Moderator, Smartest, Best Newbie, what? Also, who will decide the winners? Will we the people vote? Or will you people hand pick them? Best female member, best Zelda member, most likely to become a mod, best signature, etc. People went through and 'voted' someone for each category. Gin and I tallied the results, Kuja later did the same. The winners received....recognition, I guess. One of the problems was people voting for multiple people in the same category. A typical post would be: Best female member: Babygirl, Anna, Ginny, Cera, Lady Mac, Queen Asuka, Lotus. Best staff member: TN, Kuja, Adam, James, Babygirl So people ended up getting fractions of a vote...it was messy. But on the other hand, they are also a public recognition of behavior and achivement...by members, for members.
