5/10. The words seemed a little blurred to me since they went by a bit fast. The volume was same throughout the whole song and the melody was the same throughout the whole song as well (which makes it a bit boring imo). But the melody was nice enough, just needed more to it.

I had a really hard time choosing between two songs to use, but I ended up with using this one and will use the other one at a later time. Song is Meant to Live by Switchfoot. I originally heard the song when watching a Devil May Cry AMV. It was pretty awesome~ Anyways... yeah.

I enjoyed the song. Very Hollywood soundtrack-ish. I was just hoping the whole time for something more epic, which kind of didn't come. The second verse could've had something to make it slightly different to the first one and the acoustic guitar bridge was a bit too obvious, but overall I enjoyed it so 6/10.

Something light and awesome. Including slight translation. Not the very best, but I <3 the video.

Oh!
8.5/10
I liked this song a lot. It may just be my taste in music... but this one had a very relaxed style for voocals and a very nice and upbeat guitar melody. I liked the minimal precisions and I loved the ending. The Singers voice is really pretty and the lyrics did make me feel like I could relate, though I had to read them. Its a bit repetive for the chorus but I still liked it too much to care all that much. I am definitly downloading this one! (I also really liked the video.... that's some creative camerawork)

this one may be kinda distracting with all the product placement and the freaking gorgeous singer/pianist (I say "Ohmygosh she is so pretty," every time I see her), but I have confidence in you!

I'd give it 8/10. I'm not too familiar with the original song so I don't feel like I can really judge it that well, but I did like the arrangement and the vocals. The girl is pretty damn adorable, too, and I sure do adore French people. (I may or may not have weighted the rating in favor of attractiveness...DON'T JUDGE)

Resurrecting this thread. ^_^

I enjoyed this song more than I thought I would after hearing the quiet beginning. I especially liked 1:18-1:28, very relaxing. I had issues with the simplicity of the drums but it's a slow song so it didn't bother me as much as it would in a more upbeat song. Overall the song was slow, melodic and simple yet short and sweet as not to drag on. 7.5/10 from me. I've also not seen Inglorious Bastards yet so I was able to be pretty unbiased, hehe.

I doubt I'll get a reply anytime soon posting a song like this but... oh well, I think you should all hear it. This is actually only 4 segments of a 14 segment 55 minute long song. It's one of the best parts, though and I'm sure none of you want to review a full 55 minutes. That being said if you enjoy this I strongly encourage you to look up the rest of the album and listen to it in full, from start to finish.

Great way to resurrect the thread... an 11 minute song! (good thing I am here to save the day, with my awesome powers of not having a life.)

Anyways.... I am not the biggest fan of Porcupine Tree... but these four songs did make me like them a bit more. I would have to rate it a 7/10. The long intro was kinda cool... and about 7 minutes into the song it actually sounded like something I normally listen to and like a lot. THe length of the song didn't bug me at all, but I can't say that I was too excited at any point in the song. The Vocals weren't bad, but I didn't particularly like the voice of the singer(s). The instrumentals really were the best part of this song. they really kept it flowing.

This is a song from the band Meg and Dia, where Dia Frampton sings with Tom Higgenson from The Plain White T's.
