I know some countries have social restrictions. Does this girl know how you feel? If she feels the same way, then get her that damn necklace, stuff your parents or anyone else think (unless you don't have any money, then you should be nice to them and tell a little white lie);)...and like I said before, don't get her friend a necklace... I understand the position that you and this girl are in, but if you truly like her, then what's the harm in getting her a little something to show that you care??? Nobody needs to know.
