...say now! Ever beat yourself up over missed comebacks, or when you were fighting with someone and after it was over, the PERFECT words came to you? Well let it all out here! Whether it be to your worst enemy, that wrotten brat who bumped into you in the halls and blamed you for it, or how about one of those looooong 'parent/child' arguments, .... or MAYBE even someone you loved a long time ago, but you didn't tell them when you had the chance..... take this time NOW to get it off your chest! Only rule is no profanity (yeah I know....... kinda takes half the fun out of it...), or this thread might get closed. POST AWAY!

Hey hey hey, long time no see, Anna. ;)

I don't believe I have ever really had any of these situations where I actually regretted not saying what I could have said. I mean, I have thought of things I could have said like that before, but I didn't dwell on it. I can't even remember a majority of the times that this has happened. Most of the time in my situations it is more to the effect that there's a time when I want to say something right then and there but I'm far too shy to say anything, or I am weary of the consequences. Hrmm... the only times I can recall actually wanting to say something that I didn't is too my parents. But I can't say what it is or else I'd be breaking the rule of this thread :p

Yes, it's happened many times to me. I've been fighting with someone at school for over a year, and even now that I've moved to a new school, I'm still fighting with him..... I can never come up with good comebacks, and always say crappy ones.... :(

I never really have regretted saying a comeback to someone or anything but I did regret not saying something, and that was telling someone how I really felt about them. Now its too late and I doupt I will ever get the chance again. And thats something I dwell on everyday.

Anna! Check your PM's tell me if I answered your challenge correctly. Thanks

That about happens to me every day. In school atleast. I always get into a fight with some kid, but not like a fist fight, but sometimes, we get into it.

There has been plunty of times when I have loved someone, and I just don't get the chance to tell them. At sometime, someone just blurts it out and now I want to kill them. But it is hard, you know?

I don't get into much fights with girls (I am afarid to throw a punch) but the people that try to make me, I just watch the. At sometime they get into trouble. There are sometimes when I just hate people to death. And I want to do something about it but I can't do anything.

If you didn't star it out then it would have been excluded from your post like any other swear word is.
Does that make it any better?

On the topic; good comebacks always form in my head at exactly the moment that it's too late to say them. I don't know what the problem is; arguments with my parents, fighting with my friends. Nothing. Draw a blank. 5 minutes later i'm full of them.
I don't get it.

I'm quick-witted and a bit of a smartarse by nature. Comebacks come into my head so easily and so quickly. It's usually the other person who is at a loss for words. ;)......... It's all in the creative mind....hehehe

I get so angry at school most of the times. And you know what? I NEVER have a good combat.

This year back in the first semester, some of the school preps were trying to pick fights. They chose me as their next victim. -.- I had nothing against them, they had nothing against me, so I don't know why they were messing with me. At first it was just some juvinial name calling match/ disses that went on for a few weeks, (and as usual, I had no good combats except for poor pitiful ones) and then it nearly got down to fist fights: Me VS. all of the 7th grade preps. The turn-outs wouldn't be so good. :blackeye: Maybe if I took them on one-on-one, I could beat them, (they're pretty weak except for one or two of them) but when it came to the name calling/disses, I was at a total loss. I still can't think of anything I wanted to say with the exception of a few words, but that would be breaking the rule of this thread.

Lately, it's been just downhill...I don't really want to talk too much about my main problem mostly because there are people here who don't really want to hear about it...then again, some might (sorry, its confusing). It has something to do with someone on the boards here and IRL...but I really don't want to get screwed up because of some stupid thing that's bothering me. I just hate it when they (meaning one person) say they'll try hard to get rid of something that's hurting me and then it's been a couple months and I just found out that they haven't stopped...*sigh*

You know what's really frustrating? You couldn't think of something to say then, but it comes to you after the chance to say it is gone.

Then, when given this chance to say them, finally, you completely forget what is you wanted to say, as well as the situation which caused you to want to say it!!! One can't win!!!

there was this one thing...

i used to be really shy around guys, & when i was fifteen, there was this guy i adored from afar for 2 years, until i was sixteen. he was good friends w/ my brother, & he had this big mohawk... a devillock, actually. i'd never met anyone like him, i'd only seen good boys before. i knew he liked me, but i was too shy to do anything about it. one day we were in my house alone in the hallway & he told me he wanted to kiss me, but i said no, b/c i was scared. i'd never kissed a boy before. then he moved away like 2 weeks later & all i could think about for a whole year was how i wished i'd said yes. i finally tracked him down, but when i met up w/ him again, he had a fiancee. i wonder what would have happened if i would have kissed him, if we would have gotten together.

well, at least he showed me the beauty of punk. :)

Oh...That's kinda sad....I'm kinda like that too. Unless it's towards my family or really close friends, those words just don't come out of my mouth....I guess I could put it down to a lack of trust on my part...I don't usually care what other people think of me, but saying those 3 words to a guy I care about just puts me in a situation which I can't control and one that leaves me open for disappointment. I don't like that......

I'm sure that next time you feel that way about someone and you know they feel the same way, you would be able to tell them, knowing that you don't want that chance to slip away again;)

Those things are the best. I was at a concert on friday night and there was this guy that had the best mohawk I've ever seen. It was awesome. It stood through three bands but started too fall at the fourth and last band (NoFX). I wanted to ask that guy to punch me in the arm real hard to give me a bruise, lol. Just so I could say the I got it from a dude with a kick *** mowhawk at a show! But I didn't.. I kind of regret that..

Just last night actually...I wish I had hung up on Ryan for a very good reason when he asked me if he could call me back...long story that I don't feel like going into...but then I'm glad I didn't say do it or say anything mean, because then he called me back like he said he would and he made things clear to me that I was being sort of stupid and I suppose that I should trust him more...yeah I know that doesn't make much sense...it'll probably make alot of sense to you, Anna...

As for the come backs, man I always think of the perfect ones AFTER it's too late and then I'm like CRAP...but oh well. If it wasn't meant for me to say it then, so be it...*laughs*

This boy Dean called me fat in Spanish one day.. and I'M NOT FAT DAMNIT!!! well that would have been one of the things I would have said.. but more voer it would be somewhere along the lines of..

"Listen Dean. First of all, I'm not fat. And even if I was, I'd rather be a blimp than be a short, stupid, greasy haired, dandruff-ridden, wannabe cool guy. So take that and you know where to shove it."

Probably would have said something like that..

But along these lines.. have you ever tried to say a really nasty comeback but it didn't comeout right?

I was having a spat with my teacher saying how he couldn't base my grades on his opinion alone and he said he could but I was like, "No you can't! I'll report you to the schoolboard and you'll loose your license!"

dangnabbit...

I meant to say "And you'll loose your degree!"

but he caught me and infront of my entire homeroom was like "I don't have a license to teach."

I lost that fight...

Every now and then if I'm lucky I can get a good come back out. Once this girl forced herself into my dance group when we were going to do the KanKan (sp?). We'd already spent 2 lesson's on it and were enjoying ourselves but she kept complaining about how she didn't want to do it and I can't remember exactly what she was moaning about at the time but it was aimed at me and I just turned round and spat back "at least I can get my knee's higher than my f**king ankles!" (she was quite...okay...rather over-weight and normally I wouldn't comment but I was really p**sed with her).

At the moment it's really hard because these 2 guys are being A'holes to me and just cussin me when ever they can really and I can't ever come up with anything decent back because although I can often think of something that I know will hurt them...well I'm too scared to because I don't want to hurt one of them. It's Jay being a [email protected] and dragging Lee into it for support when I start to get the better of him in a fight...but I'm still too soft on Jay after all we've been through together to upset him as much as I know I can and might (that is MIGHT) make him stop....
:worried:
