I actually had a writing assignment for English. The topic was simply to describe something beautiful without using the word 'beauty' or any of its synonyms. The things written on varied from a rock performance, one single moment that cannot be forgotten, to the opposite sex. Beauty is just too vague to classify as a girl, or a scene, or whatever.

Yep... the battle scenes gory, the apolcalypse confusing and rated R, then theres the whole teenage sexuality thing implanted, and then of course theres the huge concept of religion flying around in there... god forbid I ever get caught with that.

(j/k) Lol only reason we seem bit different cuz we were secluded from all the western countries for quite a while(thank god to that) We just own in the video game/anime/electronics department :p But then, I have to admit I have a bit of an elitest view when it comes to other cartoons... its hard to live up to, or beat Evangelion or Trigun or Kenshin... And anime shows alot of Japanese culture? Hmm... i need to sleep on that...

I won't back down that easily in Evangelion =P I watched the series too many times and researched all the analogies too deeply to just stand down :D

Hmm... the only way I can watch Adult Swim stuff like Inuyasha and Trigun is by telling them I have homework to do and to turn the stereo up full volume so they won't hear the TV... My mum's cool bout it, but my dad will probably rip me to shreds if he sees me watching any anime(pfft... he used to watch anime as a kid too... every japanese kid does...) I think the worst anime that you can have your parents catch you watching is End of Evangelion :devil: :angel: ...

I have doubts that its the 'Castle in the Sky'. You are talking about the Studio Ghibli one right? If you are, then its definitely not that unless lurch confused the story line. The boy did not have his town annihilated, and there wasn't any wizard type of guy in the 'Castle in the Sky'...

Agreed in full with Lady M. Most people who start a fight are just too hot-headed or stupid or irrational(take your pick) to give a damn about honor and such. Walking away is definitely pointless cuz as Lady M. pointed out, you are vulnerable from behind. Defending is fine, but just defending is gonna get you nowhere unless you're some kinda master and can go on and wear him out. Unless you are that good, just trip him or hit him behind his neck to stun him. I find it effective to either kick them in the stomach or the groin to temporarily stun him so you can get out of there, or make a blow to the neck also to temporarily stun him/her. As to the guilt part, I really can't say I feel guilty after a fight unless it was I who was stupid and started it(which, as memory serves, never happened). Its self-defense, and I'm not gonna let some idiot injure me becuz he/she was stupid or irrational. I give plenty of warnings before fighting, and I say he/she crossed the line which should not have been crossed, and deserves it.

My proposal: Everyone take up martial arts at least for a year so you can kick any bully's butt :)

Hmm... if that ever happens, it probably would mean Japan is gone, and I would probably think the world came to an end... Nothing really can take the place of anime once you go in deep enough...

Actually, I haven't seen Kenshin through at all. Most I've gotten up to is the Shura eps. on CN. My friend keeps on blabbing about the future eps... and thats where I get my info :p

Most I've seen Sesshoumaru do is fling his little light whip or his poison or his little transformation. If you are gonna say stuff, then state which eps, what sword and such -_-. Just saying your wrong won't help. Tell me why I'm wrong and show me evidence :p

Okay... to those people who say fighting is stupid... what if someone who hates u or has a grudge against u(which u are not aware of) takes a swing at you outside of school and proceeds to try to beat you to a pulp. Now, can u say that all manners of fighting is stupid? I'd rather defend myself rather than some idiot beat me up w/o me resisting.

Most like? Thats kinda hard -_- My friends say I'm most like Sesshoumaru, but personally I think I'm more like Moro from Princess Mononoke. I'm not hasty in my actions, I keep a level head most of the time, I will hold a grudge for quite a while, and I am devoted and loyal to whoever I deem is worthy of that affection. I am also very solid in my beliefs, and will not waver.

At the beginning of the anime, Kenshin is 28, Kaoru is 18, Yahiko is 10, Sanosuke is 20, and Megumi is 22. Remember that this is the beginning, as the series continues over a period of 1.5 decades or so.

Yes and ever notice that Tenseiga(Sesshomaru's sword) isn't meant to fight? Its meant for healing? He doesn't use his sword because he doesn't want to. He can't cuz it won't harm anyeone.
