[color=#555555][FONT=Tahoma]Yeah, Yoshi's Island 2 (Nintendo DS) and Super Paper Mario (GCN) look like great games. But neither of them will be coming out for the Wii. So, that still leaves us with 0 Mario games for the Wii until at least a month after it has been out (which isn't even a lot). Although, you could easily just play Super Paper Mario on the Wii... Anyways, Super Mario Galaxy looks exciting. It's definately the game I want to get first on my list of games (if it comes out as a launch title). The whole star cursor aspect is new, and has not been done before. The gravity thing is also a fresh touch to the Mario games. But.. what about plot? Of all my searching, all anyone talks about is the game aspects. But nobody talks about a storyline. Why the hell is Mario in [i]space[/i]?[/FONT][/COLOR]

What I want to know is if there will be anything like teleportation pads (like the paintings in Mario 64) of some sort. If there is absolutely [i]no[/i] zoning, then that means the game and all the levels is basically one big galaxy, with no loading screens, then there should be pads to teleport you from one side to the other. I saw the star pads, which shot Mario to (what is most likely) a new level. But that only fires you so far. [/FONT] [/COLOR]

Although there is no [u][url=http://wii.nintendo.com/games_mario.html]official[/url][/u] site for SMG, you can find pictures and videos of the game [u][url=http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/748588/vids_1.html]here[/url][/u]. If you have not seen any of the videos shown in the link above, do so now. Three of the four are gameplay videos and the last one is more of a commercial displaying how the Wiimote is used in it. From what I've seen, you control Mario with the directional pad (and/or) the attatched analog stick. A to jump, and other buttons to do other things. The way SMG takes advantage of the Wiimote is the little yellow star you may have noticed on the screen. From what I can tell, this star is controlled by the Wiimote (most obvious use of it is in the video against the giant spider boss). I'm [i]very[/i] excited to play this game and will definately be the game I get with my Wii (although I'll be buying about five others at the same time :P). [/FONT] [/COLOR]

It's nothing special, but they have three new pictures (2 of which Charles posted here) and a short little blurb about him being revealed at E3. I'm assuming the cardboard box will be Snake's shield. So, when I told me friend this, the only thing he could think of was what Wario's shield would be. Nor is he normal. No, Anoker was not born. He was just there. For about 30 years at least. Before that he was non-existant. He likes to think of himself as some sort of magical being for this reason. That reason being that he was not born. When Anoker reached the age of 7, he met a cat. A special cat named Faerthuntun. He did not name it that, Faerthuntun told him that was his name. From then on, Faerthentun stayed around with Anoker, through thick and thin, fat and skinny. Anoker was always interested in Wizardry and Alchemy. He got an Alchemist's Play Kit for his 10th anniversary of existantce (which he quite enjoyed). From the age of 14 and on, Anoker grew up in a small hut in the forest, his only companion being Faerthuntun. He traveled quite a bit in his early years to gain knowledge, but soon he settled back home and studied up. He has been studying for about 10 years now, and doesn't plan on stopping. [B]Personality:[/B] Well, let me see here... Anoker is a very intelligent individual. One would need to be if they wanted to be an artisan alchemist. Alchemy takes much reading and writing, you know. I mean, it's not very easy to go from about 54 small squares to a amazingly complex three-dimensional object. You can definately tell that he is Pit.
