I think people do odd things in there sleep during band camp because they don't have enough time during the day. How much did you guys march during band camp? Fourteen hours a day was little much... Summer heat is horrible! Which is why I like rain.

I like Daft Punk, and I'd still listen to it if my brothers would let me borrow their cds. I saw the videos on Toonami ages ago, too. I wish I could see them agan... *sigh* But after my recent manga-shopping sprees, I'm pretty much broke. Is that movie like the videos? I loved the videos, but it was so long ago, I can barely remember the plot line. ^_^

I feel like a geek for being able to name just half of these people ^_^;; I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into it! If I didn't like my new Pirogeoth background, I'd probably switch. I like the idea of it! It was really amusing to look at it. I'm going to go try and name the rest of them...

TheEsca, if I was that girl I would of slapped you. :D But I'm not much for physical contact with guys. An ackward moment? It isn't ackward in a good way... On the bus with this tromboner. Anything he said really creeped me out after a while. The first thing that creeped me out and made me feel really ackward was when he was stroking my hand for some reason. "You have soft skin." What?! That really confused me. I just passed it off as being nice, since I didn't know he was really trying to get in my pants behind my friend's back. I wonder what guys must think of me... For him to think I'm easy and all! Grrrrrrr! All of Junior High was an ackward moment for me!

For people that are and/or still in school.

I have to agree with knight. Well, anyway... I'm a weird one. I randomly give hugs to strangers, skip around the hallways, and run away from my friends who are trying to pet my hair. Do you know what it looks like when someone runs down hallways with a thousand people in them? Hilarious! Where's the fun in being mature? Especially in middle/ high school. School isn't real life, nor anything close to it! Another weird thing: My husband is a girl! XD Sorry, but my friends have this thing where they're all characters off of LOTR. Amanda's Sam, and I'm Rosie. Sam's cheating on me for Frodo, though. So, I'm off to give that funny kid in the black t-shirt a hug for no apparent reason! ^_^ -
Well, at first upon seeng it, I wasn't really sure. I don't know, the cover was odd. But it looked like shoujo, so I moved in. I liked what I read on the back of the cover, so I bought it right away. I've bought the second book as well, and so far, I love it! There were unexpected plot twists, like in the second volume when
Asuza turned out to be not a good person. I nearly cried at the bar scene. A guy that hot and nice shouldn't end up being that mean! I mean, Ryoki's pretty cute, but Asuza *drool*
But that's what makes me love it, plot twists. I thought it was going to be a predictable romance, where you know the outcome. Now all I can think of is she better end up either 1: alone, 2: with Subaru (You never know ;) ) , 3: A completely different guy. Has anyone else read it, and if so, what are your thoughts? I'm looking forward to continuing this series!
I feel that there were probably a lot of sorry members in the band like that.
*Raises hand* I could never get the hang of playing and moving in odd directions at the same time. :(
I thought this would be a funny like when that girl said it on American Pie, but sadly it is not. I dont know much about band I've been having more fun in choir.
What's not funny about band? You've obviously never heard any stories from band camp. Like when I woke up after having a dream I fell asleep and skipped drills. "Holy *******, Krysten, what time is it?!" She just stared at me. And one kid slept-marched around the hallway in the middle of the night. He wandered into someone's room, stood at attention. One of the roomies woke up and was scared. Threw something at the kid in the other bed. "Chris, who's in our room?!" The sleeping trumpeter woke up and said "This isn't the field!" ahhh, band humor. Coat hangers! Er, wait, I think that's an nside joke with just my friends. I would post more stories, but they mostly have to do with the drummer and the tromboner talking dirty and scaring other bands.

The most awful taste ever! (sensitive people watch out!)

Oh, I have another one. My twin had a can of pop. He set it down on a table. That day, we were having a birthday party for someone. My aunt was sittting at the table, having a cigerrette. We don't have ashtrays, no one in our house smokes. So our aunt, finding no ashtray, decides to use the nearest can of pop. Of course my brother came back to drink his pepsi. Needless to say, he doesn't leave his cans laying around anymore. -
Then think of OB as school. Being flamed isn't fun, so I suggest don't use AIMSpeak. And lengthen your posts. One sentence doesn't contribute to discussion. As for the poem. It was pretty boring. No use of poetic devices or anything. No real sense of rythme, either.

*giggle* It turned into a religous debate. *giggle* Er, evil is evil. No one, as was already said, is completely evil or good. There are plenty of evil actions, though. Really, all I have to say has already been said ^_^ EDIT: Let me expand a bit. There are only evil acts, because the acts were not thought to be evil. Usually. What I mean, the person who performs these evil acts, usually has a reason that they think is right. Even if they think its right only for their benefit, it doesn't
I have one or two friends who love pain and harm immensely; and I don't see how enjoying inflicting hurt on them if they enjoy it makes that some how evil.
*shudder* It's an addiction. Addictions that can harm you are really baaaaad. I think alcohol, drugs, and any thing like that used inappropriately is evil. Evil acts.

The most awful taste ever! (sensitive people watch out!)

I went to Disneyland. They had that thing in Epcot, with the different pop from all around the world. Italy. That was the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. At least I could use China to wash the taste out of my mouth! -
I'm not an expert on poetry, but here is what I see: Mechanics: AABB ryhming scheme. How original  Not to mention the number of predictable ryhmes.
Her image burned to my soul by a sear,
That line sounds like it was put in there just to make a ryhme with tear possible.
The lamps burn in heaven, shining hope in the night, This star stealing girl, she has turned out my light.
That is one of the most over-used ryhmes EVER. Another over-used thing in poetry: The use of October in the title. Why October? It seemed to have no point. Emotionalism aesthetic: Love poems are good. I'm a romantic. But, really, I felt nothing in this. The message just didn't touch me at all. Er, I guess I'm just a hard ass when critiquing. Bite me. ;) I critique because I care!

Hi, you're new here! I wouldn't suggest making a thread until you're ready to post up the story. Well, I hope yours will be better than a majority of the fanfics that end up here ^-^

My first date was a few months ago. Me and Zach went to the mall, played DDR. We bought comics. Then went into the toy store and we each bought.... A Sailor Moon doll! (Or action figure, as he refused to admit he bought a doll ^.^) It was pretty ackward, but he's a great guy. He did break up with me. Without telling me. I don't know how that works, but it obviously does. As for the date, at the end he gave me a hug as he was leaving. ^_^ He's a sweety.

Posies is a flower ^_^ Actually, I know what each line of that children's poem is talking about. Disturbing. Mechanics: Onto your poem. AABB ryhming scheme is pretty... bland. And everyone writes in it! Emotionalism: The only meaning I could really get out of the poem was death. Not much other than that. But that may be because my mind's on the original folk poem thingy. You should make it more clear what your metaphors stand for.

Of course I will keep supporting you! I'm really curious about what will happen next! I felt more like the protagonist, being a girl and having been (Though not to the magnitude of being cornered in a hallway and, er, kissed) in a situation somewhat like that. And the character felt pretty believable, with her whole talking brave but still really afraid. Write more soon! ^_^
-
My first manga was Sailor Moon. I was 11, and me and my sis had always been fans of the show. So she went to the mall and bought me the manga. *starry eyes* Of course, I didn't even know there there was other manga until I was 13. That's pretty sad, since I now own 600$ worth of manga. That I've bought. Like this year. That is a lot. Actually, manga was my first real hobby, as well. Actually, I have read a bit of American comics. One or two, anyway. I've read one about Death, you know that comic that Vertigo comes out with once a year. I just usually like comics with female main characters. Hence the piles of shoujo in my room. ^_^

Very descriptive ^_^;; I loved it! All I can say is: She better have some reason for thinking that way. Because if I was her, I wouldn't have thought any of that with the "Okay, I admit that his lips were sexy and soft. " But I'm just odd. And almost a guy hater. Of course, I would of just burst into tears, not slapped him. So this character is nothing like me. Er, I'm ranting, sorry. I just thought her thought process was odd ^_^;; Umm, I love your writing style, more or less! I'll say more later. *Smacks herself for ranting on and on*
-
^_^;; Well, here's another banner I made for a request. I haven't gotten to my Prince Diamond banner yet. But I will! This one is for Gravitation. No, I don't have an obsession with yaoi!
-
Yeah, but you didn't even try. No use of pen, to make it legible, or a ruler, to do the same. An the text was so out of place without the completely black and white. I mean, I can see where you used the computer to erase things! The text was boring, too. And I agree, unless you're a kick-*** writer, anime-centered plot just doesn't really work.

I give up... There is no way I am getting anyone to write fanfics in a proper format. *sigh* This is the end. That being said, I guess this might be an interesting read. Maybe. But then again, having never watched yu-gi-oh, I don't really understand. Of course, Joey-whatsisname made some pretty good yu-gi-oh fanfics I didn't need to see the show.... umm, back on topic, and back to the format thing. Description would be good. I'm so bored with all these fanfics being the same....

I live in Illinois... In the middle of a few corn fields. That's pretty much it. And I'm not allowed to leave for college. I'm going to have to commute. Damn. I just want away from here. Is four years in the city too much to ask? Oh well, that's a long way off.

I wish I had seen the live action show. If you go to Castle in the Sky web page, it tells you what episode 67. After reading it, I have no idea why it wasn't in there. Though it did seem to have nothing to really do with the plot flow... The only good thing about Chibi-Usa is Black Lady. Now she's cool. My favorite villain of all time, thoguh, is Prince Diamond! *Fangirl smile* He's so cool! And in love with Sailor Moon!
-
Yay! Another banner. My photoshop was down for a little while... ^_^;; Well, anyway, I watched way too much Sailor Moon and I realized: I love all of Black Lady's angst. I mean, it was just so... teenage-ish. Maybe all teens are brainwashed....? Er, I wonder if I shouldn't make banners when I'm half asleep... I think I'm going to make a Prince Diamond one after this. Is there a cooler villain than him? I think not! ^_^;; Well, he's not a half naked anime girl, so its all good!
