Trance

Trance is a good genre, but its really really really common. Probably the most popular genre of electronic music there is. I personally only like progressive trance because its not to main stream and doesnt rely on repetative build-ups and breaks to make it any good. For those of you who care, Sandra Collins is a goddess! Btw, you cant go to a rave unless you do drugs. So better start if you plan on attending one. =D
2. I like tattoos and piercings. The kind of artistic expressions people make when their body is the canvas is interesting. However, I think that your fill of crap when you say you have all these piercings and tattoos. That, or your just really stupid. Anyone who gets a tatoo on a dare deserves to get stuck with whatever assanign thing is branded into their body.
3. Like it was said before, Happy Hardcore is not a group or person, it is a genre of Electronic Music and one of the most annoying things I've ever heard. One of the reasons I stopped going to raves.
4. DeG are, like you said, a hit or miss band. You either like them or u dont, there's no real in between. I like them because they are always original. No two songs sound a like, unlike some pop stars. Personally, I think that Kisou is their best album, but again, just opinion. I really loved what they did with Vulgar too. They really are a good band. =D
5. And Courteny LOVES the attention. She wouldnt have been in that band Hole if she didnt. I considor myself lucky. Living in Seattle I was able to meet Kurt's Aunt as she came to talk to my class a number of years ago about drugs and suicide.
6.
Originally posted by Sweet Pie Do you know that Dir en grey's former name is La:Sadies?
Yup and they were fun then!
7. There is no "good age". It's whenever you feel comfortable doing it, and, like you've already said, you don't. So then don't do it. =D
8. My favorite Mortal Kombat media was the comercial for the second or third game where it was live action and showed Scorpion and Reptile and Milina and Katana. Eventhough it wasnt a movie, it was still really cool. I doubt most of you will remember that though...
9. I recommened listening to bands that aren't affiliated with anime. Granted I was introduced to three of my altime favorite Visual Kei artists from the show Kamekaze Kaitou Jeanne becuase they all did themes for it. (Pierrot "Haruka", Shazna "Piece of Love" and Lastier "Dive into Shine")
10. I love how so many people just name like the same 5 super popular bands when there are so many other great bands to listen to. Like Lastier, Lareine, Baiser, Baroque, Fanatic Crisis, Kagrra, Pierrot, Spin Aqua and Wyse, just to name a few. =D
11. This thred doesn't rock my panties off...
12. I thought the movie was very awful. One of the only movies that I have scene where I acctually wondered when it was going to be over. For a movie that dealt so heavely with Vampires, they didn't discuss any of the classic charectoristics of Vampires. Like why was it always dark? The sun never seemed to rise. I dunno, just thought it was bad news from the start. The end.
13. There is, the second half of the movie is called End of Evangellion. Find it and watch it, then you will have seen the end. Enjoy. =D
14. I dont know if I would considor Dir en Grey underground. But Visual Kei still ownz!
15. I had the luxery of seeing it last night at 11pm and it was worth the wait. While 3 hours and 20 minutes IS a long time to sit, it didn't spoil my opinion of the movie. I am sad, however, that its now over and pretty soon the hype surrouding it will be gone. It is still a masterpiece. My only gripe about ROTK was
that it was essentially a 3 hour long battle and that got old pretty quick, especially when they would take 5 minute breaks to have charector interaction. Not to mention the COUNTLESS "even if we die, we'll die victoriously" speeches that everyone and their mother kept giving.
But still so enjoyable All in all, this was a wonderful movie and a wonderful ending to one of the most imaginitive movies of our time!
16. ^^ I would also. And yes, Mikage's hair is a lighter shade of pink too. But theres a relational reason for that...
17. I own the whole series on VHS. Personally, the subbed is 100% better than the dubbed in my opinion. You don't know what your missing by not seeing the rest of it. The Seito Kaichou saga (eps1-13) are, like u said, really tame in comparison to the last three arcs; The Black Rose, Otori Akio and Revolution. It really pics up then and you meet a lot of really interesting and kewl charectors. Not to mention that it gets darker and the same-sex/incest thing becomes WAY more apparent. I highly recommend it! =D
18. I thought this movie was amazing as well. Thats all I really have to say...everyone should go see it though!! =D
19. Too much special effects and computer animation. I'm as dissinterested in this one as I was the first one. They should have picked a better cast, than maybe it would have been better...
20. I think this thread has lost all point and has become nothing more than another argument about religion vs. homosexuality.
21. I love how in the face of everything that has been said, those people who are pro-gay have time and again given solid evidence to support their claims, but those against it keep reverting back to this Beastiality thing...and yet, gay marriage is still not legal...whats the deal?
22. Marriage between homosexual couples isn't about religion at all. It's about tax breaks and rights. Rights to be allowed to see your spouse when they are in the hospitol, to their estates if they die, to custody of your children. It's unfar that just becuase your straight, your given special treatment. Allowing homosexuals, who are PEOPLE just like hetrosexuals are people. Morality has nothing to do with this and untill u can prove u follow every word that the bible says, you shouldnt be preaching it either.
23. We can debate the morality of homosexuality all we want and it will still be nothing more than a continuing loop. The bible, like every other religiouse scripture, contains a set of rules and traditions that one specific group has chosen to follow. This is there view of reality, but not reality itself. And no one view is the right view, no matter how superior you might think it to be. So with that said, can we just stop this argument because it is only making the problem worse. Also, I am conducting a survey for my Sociology Final project and I need the help of any GAY MALES to help me out by taking it. Its only 13 questions long and shouldnt take more than 5 minutes to answer but your participation would greatly help me out. If your interested, please write me an email and I will respond tonight (10:30 pm PST) with the survey. Thanks a lot! Email: Harlequin02@hotmail.com
24. I'm sorry but YOU seem to be missing the point thats being made. Human's might be animals, but animals are not all human. Sex between two animals and sex between a human and an animal are tottaly different. An animal cannot consent to sex, a human can. Animals cannot love like humans can. You can't marrey an animal anymore than you can marry someone without their permission. We are debating marriage between two members of the same species, not two members of different species. A persona can choose to marry an animal yes, but the animal can't choose to get married back. And also, a person can be against polygamy and still be for gay marriage, because again, they are two different things. You can't just pull examples out of your *** to compare to gay marriage when they aren't inherently the same. You are the one who's missed the point, not us. On a different note, my Soc. Proffessor lectured about something interesting that pertains to this topic in a way. He's in the process of writting a paper to get the term "sexual orientation" changed to "relational orientation." The reason for this is that "sexual orientation" denotes who you choose to have sex with while "relational orientation" is all-encompassing and applies to whom you choose to have a relationship with, not just who you screw. "Sexual orientation" is a derrogetary term because of this reason. It could very well be one of the causes in the inequatility between gay and straight people because it only makes us think about sexual acts. Not only that, but "relational orientation" is also much more broad. Whom a person has sex with and has a relationship with can be two different people, yes even animals in this case. Why should then they be labeled based soley on who they choose to have sex with? This theory is still in the works so I am aware that it is possible to find loop holes in it, but it's just something I thought I'd share with those who care, because it's basis makes sence.
