They sound OK from the one song, a lot like Garbage though. Especially her voice. I'd say it might be too slow for me at this point. They definitely aren't bad though, maybe I need to hear more songs.

Basically I was hoping you would look a little deeper into it, even if your personal feelings are cut and dry. Life is more interesting that way.

Most of you seem to think about this only on a personal level. Also I think animals have reasoning capacity, albeit not nearly the same way as us. Howabout this, people marry and are not always right for each other. Its because people can be romantics and jump into things or whatever. You're married and have kids but are unhappy in general. Cheating is likely a strong temptation at this point. Is it wrong to think this way in that situation? The best solution would be to figure it out between the couple, but who knows? I don't think its quite as clear cut as right and wrong. If its so wrong, why do so many people have the temptation? Not that many people have the temptation to kill?

yeah, canadians and I like them but have seen them live too many times since I lived in Buffalo (close to toronto). They're good but their music hasn't diverged at all in five albums. I get tired of it after a while.

I'm not making any excuses, we're blessed with a capacity for reason. Cheaters know what they are doing, so have to accept the consequences of their actions. I think it has to be more to it than the social pressure thing. I'm not socially pressured to go out and drink beers and smoke. I don't think I'll ever cheat, but I hate having these feelings and not being able to be honest about them to the girlfriend. I would likt to be, but she would be really upset and it doesn't seem worth it. Hmm, I don't think I'm usually this melodramatic.

Why do you think that men cheat on their wives/girlfriends so often? I am happily in a relationship, and haven't come close to cheating or anything, but I think about it. I can't help it, I walk around campus and see really pretty girls and I want to talk to them. I am attracted to girls that I am friends with and pretty much always have been, there's just a line that I draw where I don't act on any impulses to cheat. I really don't think I'd be happier with some other girl either...its just in my head. Are all men naturally programmed to "spread their seed" and reproduce with a lot of women so that their genetics pass on? I've heard theories on that sort of thing before. I think there is an internal conflict in all of us between social morality and instinct. Sometimes these two are in opposition to each other. I don't want to have big crushes on other girls, but I kind of have to accept that it is going to happen and not act on it. It sucks, every guy out there is attracted to other girls but can't ever admit it because girlfriends can't take tat kind of insecurity.

Inuyasha all the way! Really they develop the characters well, and the slower parts inbetween the fights are great. Some anime like DBZ make me want to fast forward through the slow parts since they do such a bad job of them. (It might be just the dub) Kenshin is that way for me, I just don't care about the characters much to listen to them babble on. The way kenshin says "that I do" all the time in the dub drives me nuts.

I can asnwer 1 and 4 in one fell swoop. Any card that was originally yours will come back to your hand. The monster equiped to sword hunter goes back to your hand. Basically the owner gets the card back, not the person using it currently. If different dimension capsule is destroyed before the two turns, then the card it picked stays out of play. For the other two I have no idea, chain order is tough

You know, I like the idea but 90% of the time I'd just be playing it in my house anyway. I like Game boy Advance because its really simple, and probably the last medium for 2D games. I wouldn't be interested enough to have a playstation with a tiny screen. It would have to be a really original system with some new directions to take VG's for me to get it. I hope they don't just port a bunch os PS1/PS2 games on it either, like GB is doing with old SNES games. (Not that I don't like the super nintendo)

Bam and crew mind as well start a piano moving company, I think they he is the Moe of a new generations "three stooges". If Jackass taught us anything its that injuring yourself is funny, even if some slow kids watch it and decide to set themselves on fire later. Its exactly the kind of classic looney tunes / three stooges style comedic violence. That sort of thing had kind of been lacking lately on TV, where sex and swearing has become increasingly OK, but violence is only on the news. I applaud the Jackass crew though, they only end up hurting themselves. Bam's new show is more like his camp kill yourself videos, and features his dad Phil a lot more, who is one of the most tolerant men on earth next to Tom Green's folks. I just think its great that cartoonish TV violence has found its way into reality TV. I grew up on it though so thats probably why I think its so funny. Any opinions? You actually know who the stooges are?

Oh I was so pissed when they started showing episode 20 again! They really got me on that one, I taped this season and I almost turned off my tape. The ending was wild, I think that since the whole Big O concept was originally just a toy line before they thought about making it an anime they used that as an odd way to set up the Big O universe. It kind of ties in with the things roger saw in his hallucinations near the end of the episode. Definitely no clear answers, but it helps to know a little bit about how Big O came out as a series originally.

If you are looking for something a little less mainstream, check out Haibane Renmei. It was done by the mastermind of Lain, but is a lot easier to follow. There is not really any action in it, but its really a great story (very emotional and cute). If I had to compare it to something I would compare it to KiKi's delivery service. The design is cool and the characters are very human. It might be hard to find, but I rented it at a comic store that specialized in anime. Oh, and anything by Miyazaki is good enough to be worth owning.

So if a graverobber card specifically says "take one spell card..." it doesn't have to be a card that says spell and not magic? Its kind of a silly technical thing, I just thought about it randomly one day.

I heard that the really high protein diets change the way you smell (serious). They give you funky meat breath (still serious). Anyone else heard of that or am I crazy?

I think that Iraq will be much better off in the long run because of the war/invasion even though I was against it. The problem is that none of the Iraqi's deserved to die because of us (the civilians). Its also not fair that kids my age (20's) have to go and die for politics. I think that ideally the Iraqi people should have overthrown the government. It needed to happen, but it probably would have taken a very long time and a lot of Iraqi's would have died under Saddam's rule as well. So basically at a large cost, we gave them a revolution which is still at its early stages. If it ends up well for Iraq's people, then it may have been worth it. I still don't think its very fair for the people that died though in bombings or our soldiers. The ugliest thing is the politics of it. Regardless of what good our govt may have actually done, what they said in justifying the war was really weak and dodgy. A lot of people saw that and thus, a lot of protests.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between spell cards and magic cards? I feel silly but I never really noticed until a while ago that the magic cards said either magic or spell on them, and that there wasn't a whole lot of correlation as to why. You guys know?

I would say that thinking about it, the movie is a lot like blue gender....Ok this currently by far my favorite horror movie. The opening with the empty city is really priceless. It was kind of a zombie movie but not really. The infected obviously had some thinking capacity which made them more dangerous (scary). I thought of blue gender just now because you never really feel like the characters are safe no matter where they are, and even among the other humans. I really want to see this again, my girlfriend hid her eyes for about 50% of the movie in the theatre.

I was pretty sure that the English text god cards were made as a special promotion for japanese players. They didn't have an actual description of what the monster does, and were not meant to be used in play. Are there God cards out there that actually have the effects of the monsters on them? (english or Japanese?). Besides non-Konami fakes of course.

Vin Diesel wasn't in it because he wanted something like 35 million dollars to do the movie. Seeing as though that could be an entire movie budget for some movies they said forget it we'll do it without him. 35mil? what a tool eh?

I agree now that there are no totally useless cards, but just more useful and less useful ones. But howabout cards that allow you to shuffle your deck? I'm hard pressed to think about ways to use that effect for a specific reason. I bet you guys can come up with something though...any takers?

I actually really like the show. I have little respect for Simpson, she personifies the spoiled rich girl. It is however a really down to earth reality show. They don't really act like superstars, and Nick seems like a really normal guy. Mind you he puts out truly awful music, but not everyone can say that they have a fulfilling job. He is the saving grace of the show. Ilike that he doesn't blow his money pampering himself, and moves his furniture himself. They have a pretty good dynamic even though they are total opposites besides the singing careers. I don't feel as bad after watching Newlyweds as I do after the real world.

Yeah, really the saving grace of previews is that they give you about an extra 25 minutes to get to your movie. Its rough if you come in early and sit and wait watching the really awful trivia slides. I mean its not like I want to talk to the person I'm with (kidding). I think its kinda a big personal bias for me, as I get older I hate advertisement more and more. Reading some of the adbusters material doesn't help much either. I was real excited to see the Lord of the rings trailers way back when though, so I'm not totally lost.

Hey all! I'm not a master of this game on any level, but I wanted to know what you thought since there are some very experienced duelists here (so it seems). Do you have any utterly useless cards? why do you think they are included/ why were they made? I have some cards which are useless because I don't have their counterparts, like fusion cards and ritual magic cards but what I really mean are cards like "Gather your Mind" I have two of them now from Mag. Force packs and its a Magic card with the effect; take another gather your mind card from your deck, place it in your hand and shuffle your deck. (not exactly what it says, I don't have it on me) Does anyone know any possible use for this card? I would be really impressed if someone did. Any other completely useless cards?

Man, have any of you seen the uncut version? I rented the last two tapes the other day because I got impatient watching it on TV. Its pretty brutal. I really liked this show. Funimation actually did a good job of it surprisingly! Very very violent though. Don't get too atached to any of the characters.
