1. When it comes to reading, i love: Stephen King. His best books, IMO, are Needful Things, Everything's Eventual, Different Seasons, and Nightmares and Dreamscapes. The imagery he provides is vivid, his characters are believable, and his 'voice' has influenced my writing a lot. teachers don't usually like my style of many short sentences rather than one long, descriptive sentence. Orson Scott Card. The Ender series is one of the best i've ever found, and he wrote this book called Lost Boys that i found captivating. Douglas Adams. So long, and thanks for all the fish, old pal. The Hitchhiker's Trilogy is a fine example of a brilliant mind soaked in alcohol, and Dirk Gently is a perfect parody of a private richard. Dragonlance. Picked it up on my older brother's recommendation, and loved it. i love magicky fiction. Michael Crichton and Robin Cook. These guys write some creepy sci-fi that always seems like it'll happen soon. Cook's best is a book called Acceptable Risk, about anti-depressants and testing them. and i just recently picked up this book called Chocolate Jesus by Stephan Jaramillo. it's a story about the fast-food culture in America mixed with quirky religious themes. it's a lot of fun, and so apropo for Easter. Also, if you like dynastic fiction, pick up either the Riftwar Saga, the Serpentwar Saga, or the Empire trilogies by Raymond E. Feist (the last is co-authored by Janny Wurts). They're a lot of fun. =^_^= hope you're all having a nice day! Balinese
2. Vela sat up on her pallet, hearing the tap, and glanced out the window. "Bedros! Hi!" She moved to the window and pulled it open, leaning out. "What are you up to, coming here so late?" "Nothin' much. I found out where you lived, so I thought I'd pay you a visit." "Well, it looks like you and I can't start working on black magic for a while." "Why not?" Bedros sat on the window sill, cool as a cucumber. "My father has grounded me to the house for an entire week for spending the day with you. That..." she let loose with a stream of fricatives that sounded rather like a set of very angry curses. "I see." Bedros hopped down from the sill and made as if to leave. "For the love of all that's holy, PLEASE don't just leave me here!" Vela grabbed his arm, eyes pleading. "You can't leave. Your dad seems pretty protective." Bedros shrugged, hiding a smile at the girl's frantic begging. "Well, will you come back tomorrow? Please please please??" "All right, all right. Relax. Hey, do I hear your dad coming?" "YIPE!" Vela shoved Bedros out the window into the rose bush and pulled her blankets over her head, mumbling the words of the Shield spell. Bedros tugged himself out of the thorns and grabbed his lit staff, wincing a little as a particularly vicious vine wrapped itself around his leg. "Poor kid, to be so afraid of yer dad..."
3.
Hmm...how about instead of going for hot, what about cute? I mean, I think that some actors have that little innocent look which makes them absolutely...adorable? ELIJAH WOOD! He's so...cute in LOTR. Those innocent eyes of his always make me want to cry and kill those Nazgul.
Elijah Wood is cute, but he's that kind of sugary cute that makes me want to gag. Macaulay Culkin is the same way.
As for extreme good looks, I'd say Keanu Reeves is a pretty strong contender.
i cannot look at Keanu without thinking of the SNL Jeopardy episode. "i know kung fu!" "For the last time, Mr. Reeves, no, you don't." *later* "You wagered eleventy billion dollars! that's not even a real number!" "Yet."
4. my senior year is turning out to be kind of disappointing. my family is pretty poor, so i don't have the money for any of the stuff that most seniors buy, like class rings, t-shirts, prom... however, i am on the graduation committee at my school, so i'm helping plan (which is a big deal, because the alternative schools usually don't get to participate in this stuff), and i got dual acceptance to UNC and Aims Comm. College, starting this fall! =^_^= yay for senior year!
5. How long have you been using my otaku? i started using mine in the middle of February this year... the 23rd or so. i originally made my account so i could start making greeting cards. How frequently do you work with my otaku? At least once a week, more like every couple of days. it's like my livejournal but better because there's a person i know who always reads my lj, but has no clue that i have my MyO so he can't read it and embarrass me. What all of you do with my otaku? i rant, rave, daydream, think on paper, you name it. i can talk about my day, berate myself for not getting into UNC full-time, ask for advice about my brother, and just think 'aloud'. it keeps me connected with Mamma and Jagan and Sakura and others. i also use my MyO acct because i love to make anime greeting cards... mostly Weiss and Trigun. now that i think about it, i should do some tinkering with it before i go to bed tonight... *wanders off*
6. Here's one that really is awesome. i love Jack Kerouac =^_^= “Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them; disagree with them; glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” ~ Jack Kerouac Too true, isn't it?
7. Name: Mina Gender: Female Age: 18 Apperance: Approximately 5'8" tall. Wears long-legged blue jean shorts (below the knees, not quite to the ankles) and a red hoodie most of the time. For this RPG, she will be wearing a t-shirt that says "I can bend minds with my spoon." Mina has red (and i do mean RED) hair that she keeps in a ponytail down her back. Unbound, it reaches the small of her back. Her emerald green eyes tend to look skeptical, and she wears round-framed tortoiseshell glasses. Pokemon(Max of six. Only use those seen in the games, show, and/or movies. No legendary Pokemon): Meowth, Jigglypuff, Kadabra, Gloom, Totodile, Pikachu Personality: Mina is extremely intelligent, but only really pays attention to things she's interested in. She wants to become a Pokemon breeder/nurse, and has already begun a breeding program. Her Pikachu and Meowth are her own bred specimens and she is very protective of them. She is a font of information about Pokemon found only in the Johto and Kanto region, mostly because she was born and raised in the city of Cinnabar. She ends up often having crushes on guys, but will break up with a boyfriend if he thinks that her dream of becoming the world's best breeder is too far out, and she should be a housewife. Bio: Born in Cinnabar, on Cinnabar Island in Kanto, Mina grew up pretty much on her own. Her mother and father were researchers for the gym leader, Blaine, trying to create better and stronger Fire Pokemon. On her tenth birthday, Mina got her Pokemon, packed a knapsack, and bid adieu to the island and her parents. She decided to start her own journey and begin to learn more about what she could do with breeding and care. She spent two years in Goldenrod working with the people who own the Nursery, learning the basics, then took her new Pokemon and headed off for Olivine City, where she has spent the past five years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This looks like it'll be an interesting and challenging RP. Do let me know if i should change anything, and i'm looking forward to it!! EDIT: made the changes. let me know if i should/can do anything else to make it better. See ya!
8.
Literally? Episodes 24-25 of Gundam Wing, in which Quatre (the hitherto martially-unimpressive pacifist)
is driven insane by the ZERO system, a brain-wave modifying device of his own creation. Under that particular influence, he fantasizes that everyone is his enemy, and attacks a colony completely innocent people.
Knowing of his personality, it was surreal, (to say the least) but on a completely logical level, it made perfect sense, which only contributed to the feeling that it was totally bizarre. (It was well worth it to watch Trowa 'save' him, though. Yaay for psychological melodrama!)
That was one of the coolest anime scenes i've ever seen. :luv: Fangirl scene, oh yes. the craziest scene for me is the opening to Excel Saga episode 26. Excel decides she wants to do a musical, and Nabeshin and Rikudo try to stop her... but end up aiding her. Then the opening credits roll, and they're insane... (btw, it's better in Japanese. Koyasu Takehito... *drool*)
9. Kin blinked slightly as he looked at Kapurimon's new form. "Yeesh. You changed from a plushie into a model. My little sister would love you." "Thanks... I think. I'm now ClearAgumon." The creature scratched at its Lego-looking head sheepishly, then blinked over Kin's shoulder. "What..." Kin felt a warmth in his hand and looked to see that his 'digivice' was glowing. "What now?" He moved toward the others, feeling protective of them almost immediately. "Get ready!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i haven't a clue what's goin' on, so i'll let y'all prepare.
10. OOC: *sweatdrop* uh oh.... i'm afraid to see where this is gonna go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vela knelt in the middle of the glorified closet she called a bedroom, ostensibly deep in meditation. In reality, she was daydreaming about her day with Bedros and how they had laughed and talked for so long. It had been a lot of fun, and he had said he'd teach her a few of the basic offensive spells. It was nice to meet a mage outside the family. However, it had entailed an hour-and-a-half long lecture about impropriety that ended with a week's grounding to the house. "Vela! Kad du pat. E aqbald oui ib yd 6 du pakeh ouin bihecrsahd." (Vela! Get to bed. I expect you up at 6 to begin your punishment.) A voice called up from the first floor of the library. "Yht tuh'd vunkad du creamt ouin tuun yht fehtufc. E femm lralg!" (And don't forget to shield your door and windows. I will check!) "Oac, Vydran, E femm. Kuut hekrd." (Yes, Father, I will. Good night.) Vela called back, calling up a Shield spell that would pass a cursory examination but would fall apart if it was hit with anything bigger than a bee moving at a lazy buzz. She lay on her pallet, mumbling to herself, "Fro ys E vunlat du pa rana fedr dryd eteud? Uha fruma faag uv hu Rosa yht hu Locke... DUNDINA!" (Why am I forced to be here with that idiot? One whole week of no Rosa and no Locke... TORTURE!) Closing her eyes, Vela waited for sleep to claim her.
11.
I probably know some other disorders, but I'm not comin' up with any right now. I think I have some OCD tendencies (I've become obsessed with washing my hands), but doesn't everyone?
if it becomes an interference with your everyday life, see a doctor. we may all have some tendencies, but when it becomes a problem is when we need to take action. Give you an example here: my two brothers and i have all been diagnosed with depression in one form or another. my oldest brother is cool with his problems and needs no outside help, because it never interferes with his life. my younger brother is cool with his depression too, but he also has ADD, which caused him a lot of trouble in school. got that taken care of with Ritalin, he's fine now. my depression screwed me over from third grade to eighth (read: caused me to be hospitalized like ten times for suicide attempts) because we didn't know what to do. now i'm being treated for bipolar disorder and i'm going to graduate in the top half of my class. *thumbs nose at sixth grade counselor* my buddy Stash (long story) has bipolar disorder that caused him some (BIG) trouble earlier in the school year. they're treating him now, and he's all right... thank God. there are some people who really have problems that can be solved by medication. but there are more people who are overmedicated because behavior therapy dictates that they need to be calm and focused all the time, and when a kid has a bad day our culture has parents thinking 'oh my god, he/she has ADHD, i need to get them on Ritalin/Adderall/any number of medications' and it's DUMB. Side note: Ritalin is approximately one molecule chemically different from illegal methamphetamines. chew on that a bit.
12. i spent two years in foster care, so i moved a total of... *counts on fingers* thirteen times in just under 21 months. i guess the weirdest moving story i have is from the sixth foster home i was in. we were getting ready, because i was moving to a new placement and the foster mother was moving to a new house, and all of a sudden, when we were moving the mattresses from the basement (where we foster kids slept), we found a dead mouse in one of the mattresses. The four of us argued for an hour over who was going to get rid of it. Yuck. my advice: if you ever end up moving more than once in a year, never unpack. makes things that much easier.
13.
I got a couple of quotes! Here they are too! The first quote is my favorite one... "Never under estemate the power of stupid people in large groups..."
Ah, John Kenneth Galbraith. True, too. Here's one for the Buffy/Angel fans among us: “No one truly recovers from high school.” ~ Joss Whedon i just thought that one was cute. here's another weird one i found... A linguistics professor was lecturing to his class one day. "In English," he said, "A double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative." A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right." ~ Anonymous i think it's funny, but then i may be the only one... i don't know anyone else who is planning to major in lingusitics in college.
14.
And, there's this one ending from Weiss Kreuz that I love so much.
first or second ending? first ending is called Beautiful Alone. it goes like this: Anata tto bokutono sabishisa o Kasaneru yon ishite kuchizukeru Futariga itameta kizuatoga Utsukushii wakare o tsugeru daro second ending is called It's Too Late. Goes like this: Honou you na Kanashimi iyasu Tsumetai ame ga konya wa furi tsuzuku Dareka wo aishi? Dareka wo nikumi? Itameta mune no oku made shimite iku... yeah, i know too much about this stuff. but if you need words to a song you find, look me up ^_^
15. Name: Alimia Remia Hartman (Mia) Age: 18 Gender: Female Personality: Bright, charming, and well-rounded in knowledge, Mia is a force to be reckoned with. She isn't always all that wonderful to be around (word to the wise: do not get between her and her chocolate), but she makes friends and sticks with 'em. Angelic power: The powers of Raphael, the angel of Healing and Forcas, angel of Invisibility. She can heal minor wounds and render herself invisible for VERY short periods of time... so far, that's all she can do. Appearance: Mia has golden-brown hair naturally, but as soon as she gained her majority (three weeks ago) she dyed it this weird shade of burgundy. Naturally, that alone would stand out in a crowd, but her style of dress can either stand out or blend in, depending on her mood. She loves weird clothing, so one day she may be wearing a kimono, one day she may be wearing a t-shirt that says "S--t Happens". However, she always wears a gold chain bracelet on her right wrist and a pendant with a quartz crystal around her neck. A tattoo of a purple dragon reaches from her shoulder (tail) with the head resting on the back of her hand. Short-ish Bio: Mia is just your average high-school student, although perhaps she is a bit more infected with 'senioritis' than most. Her preparations for entering the polic academy are nearly completed, and she's currently working under the badge of 'junior police officer' (meaning she can make arrests, but can't bust anyone without a 'real' police officer with her), following in her older brother's footsteps. She isn't really religious (closer to agnostic), so it was a bit of a shock to her when the angel Gabriel (who happens to be female) came to her and told her she was gonna help. Her powers are weak as of right now, but she has faith that she can help and will. Please let me know if you'd like me to change anything, and i look forward to this RP! =^_^= EDIT: changed a bit of her bio, and i'll see if i can get anyone to join, bro.
16. Yohji took a few moments to try to make sense of it all. While he wasn't a total moron, no one could ever say he was the smartest of the Weiss. "I transformed into that bull-thing. I can transform into animals!" Billy looked as though this was the greatest discovery since the wheel. Orli kept staring at his hands. Haruka/Amara/short-skirt-hottie-who-happened-to-be-gay kept mumbling about her outfit. Xion was bristling at Leonx. The kid with the gun was blinking like he was missing his color vision or somethin'. Vegeta was covered with black fur and looked utterly disgusted. And Bruce Lee was standing there, trying to figure out who the hell he was with. "Okay, I think we all deserve some answers, Leonx." Yohji pronounced, stumbling over the unfamiliar name. "What the bloody **** is going on here, and why?" He closed his eyes and promptly fell over, landing on the ground with a thud. "Oogh." Billy and Orli tried not to smirk, and Amara just huffed. "Tell."
17. Kin yawned widely, showing off a mouth full of sparkling white teeth. Spending an evening in his room while his little sister had a slumber party was DEFINITELY not on his list of fun ways to relax. Orthodontia was higher. A squeal came from downstairs. "Akiko, I can not BELIEVE you! HOW can you think my bother is a HOTTIE?" High-pitched giggles mixed with the shy replies of a girl's voice. Kin groaned. "Girls. Especially fourteen-year-old girls. Why couldn't I have had BROTHERS?" He lay back on his bed and yawned, flipping on an Eminem CD, and soon fell asleep. Wake up, wake up, longhair. "Whuh?" NOW we get some response. "Now?" Look around, numbskull. Kin sat up, staring wildly at a field full of cribs, and four teens feeding tiny little animals. "Whoa. Gotta stop eating pepperoni and anchovy pizza before bed." You know, I'm getting REALLY tired of being thought a dream. "Heh. Okay, so I'm not dreaming then?" Finally we get one with some brains. "Jerk. Where are you?" Right here. Kin looked down and saw a cute little dog-looking thing in front of him. "A dog?" I'm not gonna explain again. Ask one of the others. The thing stomped off... if such a thing could be said to stomp. Kin looked up and saw several other kids in the field. He approached a girl holding a smoky-looking thing and bottle-feeding it, and began asking questions.
18.
Jessica Simpson: She's stupid and has no talent. But...well...ummm...There's nothing really good about her but her looks.
i forgot about her. she's the typical airheaded blonde, but damn, she's hot. Nick Lachey is a cutie too, and he's the perfect antithesis to her. Another really hot but semi-dumb celeb is Ashton Kutcher. Mmm, he's so yummy...
19. "Don, don't you think that was a little harsh? After all, Salvatore is not as involved in the Family as you or I. It stands to reason that he didn't know that club was owned by Kang." Sophitia stood in the doorway of the room that Salvatore had just left, watching the Don pace the floor. "Why do you care, Songbird?" The Don gave her one of the most impressive glowers Sophitia had ever seen in her young life. "You have ambitions of marrying your boss' son and taking over the Family?" "No, no sir. It's just that..." Sophitia paused to think, brushing a lock of hair back behind an emerald-studded ear. "It's just that we need as many able-bodied men as we can get, and Salvatore is a valuable asset." "Did you call Nico about the mole?" The Don changed topics, looking a bit angry with Sophitia for her impertinence. "Sì, signore. He'll be here tomorrow at one p.m. for an appointment with you. I didn't say what it was about." "Good. You are dismissed for the evening, Sophitia." "Yes, Don. Buona notte."
20. i have a thing for Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty. his voice always makes me feel better, no matter what mood i'm in, and he has the most beautiful smile. i also love Mai Yamane and Steve Conte, two of the people who do songs for the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. i've never seen pictures of either, but their voices are SO nice...
21. Yohji stepped over the corpse of the demon he had killed and gaped at Bruce. "No. No way. This HAS to be a dream. Any minute now I'm gonna wake up in bed with Aya screaming at me to open the shop. No way does Bruce Lee just show up outta nowhere." He tugged his messy chestnut hair back and bound it into a ponytail, shoving his sunglasses up his nose. "Any minute now." Bruce touched his shoulder. "I'm sorry, I didn't get your name..." Yohji nearly took off like a rocket. "Ah CRIPES! He's really here. I'm a telepath like the Mastermind. That pointy-eared guy has blue flames all over his hands. And to top it all off, there's this really hot girl who isn't responding to my advances." He looked up at the sky in the best anime-hero fashion and screamed "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!?!?!?!?!"
22. Vela smiled at Bedros' fake laugh. "Aren't you an almighty black mage?" she said, poking him in the side. "We'll be fine." The person continued to move toward them at an alarming speed, and Vela began to feel just a little nervous. "Maybe I was wrong?" She reached instinctively for her back, then realized that she didn't have her sword with her. "Ah.... aw man..." "Just back me up." Bedros stood, watching the person and holding a ball of contained lightning in his palm. "What?! I can barely..." she trailed off as she noticed he wasn't listening. Bedros kept his eyes on the person heading toward them, breathing slowing in the concentration of a mage. Vela recognized this and began to slow her breathing as well, creating a readiness in her mind. "Vela, just be ready to cast Protect." Bedros watched the form approach. It was an older man, yelling impolitely, and he relaxed. "It's just... an old guy." The man kept yelling. "Vela! Frana ryja oui paah? Ed'c bycd tyng! Oui cruimt ryja paah rusa ruinc yku!" (Vela! Where have you been? It's past dark! You should have been home hours ago!) "What did he say?" "He wants me home. That's my dad." Vela turned with a contrite expression. "Cunno, Vydran. E'ja paah rana dymgehk fedr drec pmylg syka yht E mucd dnylg uv desa." (Sorry, Father. I've been here talking with this black mage and I lost track of time.) She emphasized the words pmlg syka (black mage). "Ah, so this is that black mage that Rosa was babbling about? I thought she was covering for you so you could sneak off to see some young man." At these words, Vela blushed. Bedros raised an eyebrow and flashed a rather handsome smile. "Bedros, sir. Your daughter was just telling me she would like instruction in black magic?" He raised his voice a little, as though he was asking whether or not she'd be allowed. "Hm. Vela. Fa'na mayjehk. Oui lyh dymg du drec ouihk syh yhudran desa." ( Vela. We're leaving. You can talk to this young man another time.) He turned to Bedros. "I hope my troublesome daughter hasn't caused any problems for you. Perhaps we'll see you around." "Yes, sir." Bedros cast a sympathetic wink at Vela, who smiled at him. "See you, Bedros. Maybe we can work together sometime." Vela and her father left. Bedros could hear him yelling at her from nearly two miles off. "Yeesh, and I thought I had it bad as a kid..." He shook his head and lay back down on the grass.
23. Name: Sarea (Sa-RAY-ah) Age: 19 outwardly. Inwardly about 500 years. Race: Angel Gender: Female Cause: A wish for peace, her love of mortals Alliance: Good Persona: Soft-spoken and gentle, but the moment things become heated Sarea is the one ready to end the situation in a nonviolent manner. Her belief in peace has influenced many famous people, although they don't know it. (Think MLK Jr, Ghandi.) She doesn't smile very often, living in an air of quiet, gentle melancholy. It only serves to make her more beautiful. Appearance: Earthly form: Sarea stands approximately 5'8". Her dark brown hair is softly waved and falls around her heart-shaped face in small, ocean-like waves. Sarea tends to wear clothes that conceal her body shape, and no make-up. Her deep-green eyes don't need it though, as their highlights of gold show quite beautifully. People have been heard to say that they feel as though her eyes can see their souls. She wears a thin gold bracelet around her left wrist, and it always seems to shine, no matter the lighting conditions she is seen in. Angelic form: Sarea stands about the same height in her angelic form as in her earthly form. Her hair falls to below the waist of her dove-gray robes, and her eyes are lit from within, as though candles burn within her soul. Her appearance is topped off by a pair of soft, indigo wings, befitting her station as an angel of sorrow. The halo (that seems to be a requirement for all angels) is slightly tarnished, but shines a soft golden light. Weapon: A quarterstaff made of oak. (Quarterstaffs tend to be short and stout, and they are the weapon most often depicted as used by Robin Hood's friend Friar Tuck.) Biography: Born in the late Rennaissance, Sarea was the daughter of a well-known philosopher, Pascal. She was raised in a very well-bred manner, and was taught to read and write on top of the usual things a girl would learn (sewing, cooking, crochet). When she was nineteen, Sarea was asked to marry by a young man in the village, and she accepted. For nearly a year, she was very happy with her young husband... right until the day they learned he had what was called a 'wasting sickness' (what we call cancer). For six months, Sarea never left her husband's side as he slowly died, and some people whispered that she was never seen to smile when she left her home to go to market. After his death, she lived for two years before dying quietly and alone. Some said the cause was a broken heart. Sarea became an angel of sorrow because of the turn her young life had taken, and she is purely, wholly good inside. She never was reunited with her husband after her death, and in a way, she resents it. She misses him deeply, and it shows in her manner. Other information: Sarea tends to fall in love with mortals, because she cares for them deeply. She is the angel that people say they see after a loved one dies.
24. OOC: Eh, why not? i miss season one... that was the best. Especially Matt. Ah, Matt... *fangirl smile* Yes, i'm a girl, but playing a guy makes for an interesting challenge. Name: Kin Age: 16 Personality: The tough one. Kin is smart, kind and a good friend, although he acts like a big tough meanie sometimes. He's protective of each of his friends, and has the brawn to back his threats of violence up. His strength and brains make him a good fighter, and he subscribes to the motto 'if you can't make 'em mad enough to flail wildly around, pound 'em into the ground!' Description: Dark brown hair, sort of long, worn in a short ponytail. Wears a short-sleeved blue t-shirt and jeans, and dark blue sneakers with white laces. (How he manages to keep them pure white is a mystery no one can solve.) He has dark green eyes and a pair of small, 'gunslinger'-type sunglasses he wears all the time. 25. After returning home, Rei turned on the shower and hopped in, humming a bit off-key. She stayed in the shower for nearly an hour, relaxing from her day under spaceships and celebrating a little for her new promotion. "Space exploration! Can you believe it, Akumi? You're moving up in life!" Rei walked into the kitchen of her small Capsule Corp apartment and fixed herself a cup of tea, smiling at a picture of her nineteen-times-great-grandmother Bra. "Can you believe me, Bra? This really is a stroke of luck... too bad the company isn't our family's any more, huh?" She shrugged and drank her tea, then went to her bedroom and lay down, staring at the ceiling. Her eyes drifted closed slowly, and she yawned. "I'm gonna sleep... so tired..." A bright red car zipped down the road, filled with packages from numerous stores in the mall. A black-haired man drove, with a green-haired, red-outfitted teen girl next to him. "Come on, Daddy, let's get home so I can show Mom these clothes!" "The speed limit is 65, Bra. I can't go any faster." A shadow floated into the sky in front of their car, and Vegeta slammed on the brakes. "Gohan? Is that you?" Rei sat up, drenched in sweat. "Whoa... weird dream. Wonder..." She was asleep before she could finish the thought.
