1. Sorry about that Astdis. ^_^;;
2. Zane smiled at the woman. " It's all right. I think you were having a dream," he said, trying to appear friendly and non-threatening. She looked around rather confused. " A.. a dream?" Zane nodded. " I would say it was more like a nightmare..." His eyes sharpened a little. The others gathered around her. He stood, grabbed Kadar's arm roughly and took him to the side as the others tried to comfort the woman. Once into the other room, Kadar roughly pulled out of Zane's grip. The two looked at each other, Zane's eyes narrowed. " What happened?" he demanded. " I told you. I remember going into the bath, then the next thing I knew was that I was running with her in my arms," Kadar half growled his answer. " Kadar... You are lying... I can see it, remember." " I am not lying Zane." " Bullshit!" Zane yelled angrily at him before regaining his calm composure. He closed his eyes in frustration. " I can see it as plain as day. You turned into some sort of monster. I'm not necessarily saying that it was a beast, just a person that wasn't human." " What the fuck are you trying to say?!!" Kadar roared at the Pisces. Zane tried to keep him composure as he replied. " You killed that woman's companion! You killed two other men, and weren't short of killing her!" Kadar was shocked. " How can you know this when I don't know this myself!" Clenching his fists tightly, Zane hissed the answer through his teeth. " If you can decide to remember, I can see what's happened in the past, present and a short time into the future." " There's no way I would do that!" " Stop denying it! It only makes 'it' stronger!" " Are you saying I'm a monster?!!!" Zane went to reply but he just closed his mouth and walkd out of the room without another word. Kadar was left there with his own confused thoughts. Upon returning to the living room, he found Ben, Ima and Kariz helping the woman to make herself comfortable. Camilla came up to Zane. " What's the matter my dear Camilla?" he asked, trying not to let his frustration be know in his voice. He knew that his bodily actions told much more than the words than came out of his mouth. " We found out her name. It's Clara. She's asking where her friend, I think his name was Adrean, is," Camilla said. " Hmmm... this isn't going to be good," Zane mumbled as he ruffled his hair. -------------------------------------------------- Cold air shifted around her body. Her arms hung limply in mid-air. She just stood there, as if time had frozen. Her mind was dead to the outside world. His words... his words kept ringing in her ears. His actions had surprised her. Now that he had vanished, his actions stung her like a thousand wasps. The cold wind moved the blanket that was now on the balcony's floor. It chilled her to the bones but she couldn't feel it anymore. All she could feel was the intense thumping of her heart. The pain... Pain of a familar sort to her started to run through her body. The pain of the heart... She could feel her heart thump against her chest. She could feel it grow colder and colder, closing itself from hurts of all kinds. Her knees sank to the ground as her arms now held her arms on all fours. Silent tears started to form in her eyes and flow down her cold cheeks. They splattered against the balcony floor like droplets of blood pouring from a wound. " No more.... no more..." she whispered in desperation. " I don't want to be hurt anymore...." She clutched her heart and wept. --------- Raven entered the room. There seemed to be a commotion, and a new arrival. " What's happening?" she asked over the roudy din. Zane and Camilla came to her. " Kadar had an incident with some people. And he found himself running along wiht this woman in his arms. Her name is Clara. There is more, but I don't think we have enough time to tell you. We have to find the other Zodiacs," Zane said. " There is one around here somewhere," Camilla added. " I'm sure everyone can feel it." Zane nodded. " Anyhow, we have to keep this Clara unaware of our powers since she'll be joining us on this quest it seems." Raven stood there, wrapped in the blanket she wrapped around Rubedo. It still had his scent. Zane looked over her, his eyes turning slightly crystal blue. " Camilla, could you leave us for a second? I'm sure Clara will love to meet you," Zane said, smiling at her. She arched an eyebrow at him before leaving. Zane turned to Raven who was silent and still. " Where is he?" he asked simply. Raven shrugged her shoulders. " I couldn't care anymore." " Hmmm? Well it seems you do if you are hurting that much." " Watch what you say fishie boy!" Zane smiled. Well at least she hadn't lost any of her bite. He approached her and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. " Don't worry. He's not one to leave someone he cares for behind," he said soothingly before breaking the embrace and joining the others in helping Clara feel at home. Raven stood there for a few more moments. Would he really come back for me? All I can do is hope... and that's more painful than anything. With that, she joined in greeting Clara. OOC: Hope you don't mind Xy GGu, or anyone else I used in my post. We should get going and find Omino Jaku soon. Ominu Jaku, I hope that's enough time for you to have your discussion.
3. Kei looked at Armes with a piercing look. The two were locked each other with a cold stare before Kei decided to answer. Rather delicately too. As she clutched her bleeding shoulder, she confronted Armes. There was something in the woman's eyes that disturbed her, but on the other hand, there was something attractive about it. " They didn't speak at all. Not a single word. They attacked us without warning, nor cause from what we saw. Although that not might be entirely true. It seemed as though we were intruders in an ancient land. It almost felt like I was in the legend of Arthur and Camelot with those knights." Armes' glance shifted slightly but Kei didn't miss it. She saw it. That look. The look that said everything. That they didn't belong here, wherever here was. Kei growled in her throat, feeling rather threatened by that mentality. " So what now?" Alex asked as he started to tend to Kei's wound. " Well, Leo... I mean Professor Arcaine should be here soon," Ashlyn said, craning her neck to look over Kei's shoulders. " Ashlyn, we're all adults," Kei said, " We are going to be working together. Therefore I think it would be easier, and more friendly, if we call each other by our first names." She hissed as Alex dabbed sterilising liquid onto her gash. " True." " It seems as though Leo isn't coming. Maybe he's gone ahead?" Alex said, finally finishing the bandage. Kei smiled and thanked him. The old man standing on the pier approached them. " Do you perhaps mean the man who came by earlier?" he said. Ashlyn whirled around to him. " You mean you saw him without telling us?" " Must of slipped me mind lassie." " Great. He's probably waiting for us on the banks on the other side," Ashlyn sighed. Kei pulled a comforting hand on Ashlyn's shoulder. " We should get going then," she suggested. Ashlyn nodded reluctantly and they all boarded the boat. Together with the oars, they started to glide across the misty surface of the lake. OOC: The attracted part is Merlin bing attracted to Viviane. Astdis, sorry again for moving it along. I'm sure you can do something with that. I can delete this if you want me to if you had something else planned.
4. Hey DC, could you do me a favour and kick Kairi in the *** and tell him to post soon. It'd be a good help to all of us. Thanks.
5. Kei slightly moved her hand to the chopsticks in her hair. Unbeknownst to everyone, they were actually a weapon Kei used to protected herself. People never thought that a bibliomaniac would know how to defend themselves. Obviously Kei was an exception. Ashlyn looked very confused. Why would there be medievil knights wandering around these parts? The knights just stood their with their swords pointed at the two women. Kei stood defensively. " Who are you? What do you want?" Kei demanded to know. The knights were silent, although their horses pawded the ground anxiously as if wanting to attack. The detail in the cloth weaving was amazing, Kei noticed. It actually looked all real. The knights advanced slowly, one step after another. Ashlyn and Kei had to take two steps back to compensate for the horse's stride. " What is this?" Ashlyn asked, amazed. " I don't know. But if we don't move out of their way, we're going to get trampled," Kei said warningly. " What?" " The horses look like they want to attack. See them pawd their feet on the ground. They're anxious." Without warning, the knights attacked, each letting out a warcry. There was only enough time for Ashlyn and Kei to get out of the way. " Shit!" Kei exclaimed. Normally she didn't swear, but this was an exception. The knights reared and turned around, their horses almost looking like demons. " What are these things?" Ashlyn exclaimed. " I don't know, but they're out to kill us!" Kei shouted at her as the knights parted and singled out the two women. Ashlyn rolled, dodging her attacker. Kei flipped out of the way but the knight's sword nicked her shoulder. Blood started to trickle down her shoulder. She clutched it with her right hand, it being on her left shoulder. " Ashlyn, are you okay?" Kei shouted at her. " Yeah, you?" Ashlyn shouted back. " I'm okay." The knights rounded again and charged. Ashlyn, again, dodged her easily. However, Kei wasn't as lucky. The knight charging at her had her in a position in that she couldn't escape. Kei panicked. I'm going to die... die by these weird medievil knights that are in modern day Scotland.... I'm going to die! Suddenly, a blast of wind came from behind her as she thought her last thought and knocked the knight fair off his horse. The metal-clad knight hit the ground hard, his metal armour clinking. Kei looked at him, amazed and shocked. " Where did that come from?" OOC: Hope you don't mind a little of Merlin's powers finally coming out Astdis. I think it would b a good idea if you did a nice long post, so we can get the story moving along. Just a suggestion.
6. Zane gently soothed his hands over Ima's temples, the cool water flow continuing to subdue her straining mind. He could see the look of pure determination and frustration on her face as she tied each molecule together. " You're doing well Ima... I can feel the plane slowing... Just a little more..." Zane said soothingly. A small smile creased her lips for a few moments before returning to the determined frown. The demons were lessening in the aeroplane. Ben, Kadar, Raven and Rubedo were fighting them off well, the benefit of Adoil's advice. Kariz was up in the cockpit, fighting a few demons off that were trying to get their hands on the controls. Luckily, Kariz did some smart thinking and stuck her knife into the controls, jamming it so the plane would stay level. Camilla was doing her best to calm the passengers down. A few minutes later and the plane was back to normal. All of the demons were sent back to their realm. Most of the Zodiacs sat down in the aisles of the planes, exhausted. Zane stood from his seat. " Will you be ok for a moment Ima?" She nodded. Zane walked over to Rubedo, who was still standing, seemingly not exhausted. " Do you need help Rubedo? No, that's a silly question," Zane said, looking at Rubedo's emotionless face. He made his way over to Kadar and Ben. " Do you two need any help?" he asked kindly. The two nodded. Zane placed each hand on one should of each man. His eyes grew a light crystal blue colour as he manipulated the water in the two's bodies to help them recover better. He retracted his hands and walked over to Kariz who was sitting in the pilot's seat, exhausted. He smiled at her. " Nice move with the controls," he said comfortingly as he noticed the bodies of the pilot and co-pilot near the seats. " Thanks." " Do you need any help?" Kariz breathed heavily. " I suppose." Zane placed a hand on her shoulder again, his eyes turning to the crystal blue colour. A few more moments and Kariz felt refreshed. " Thanks." " No problem. I'll send someone in here to help you with the bodies." " Thanks." He walked back out and approached Camilla. Her face said it all. Her eyes were tired and her beautiful blue hair was slightly ruffled. He laid a comforting hand on her shoulder. She slightly jumped. " It's all right. It's over with now. All we have to do is land this thing." " You better go back to Ima," Camilla said, " I'm ok here." " All right." He continued back to Ima who had a look of pain on her face. He placed his hands on her temples again, letting the cool water flow. The pained look decreased. ----------------------------------- Raven sat on the floor, trying to regulate her breathing. Rubedo stood over her, looking around cautiously. Those demons were powerful, and indestructible until the angel, Adoil, told them their weakness. Speaking of the angel... Raven stood up, slightly wobbling. Rubedo helped her stand properly. She gave him a quick smile before she confronted Adoil. He had a stern look on his face, looking where the other angel once stood. " So, you're an Angel. Adoil is it? Why did you help us?" she interrogated, her natural instincts back again. " For reasons I don't want to discuss," he replied shortly. Raven's eyes narrowed suspiciously. " Right." " Well, if that's all, I suggest you use your electric abilities to help Ima with the slowing of this plane," Adoil suggested before disappearing. Rubedo came up behind Raven and laid a softhand on her shoulder. " I think that's a wise idea. Ima isn't going to last all the way to Japan." " Right." Raven passed Zane and Ima as they sat in the seats. Ima was concentrating hard, a vein throbbed on her forehead. Zane nodded as Raven and Rubedo passed. They made their way to the cockpit and found Kariz there, moving the bodies of the pilot and the co-pilot. " Need any help?" Raven asked. Kariz looked up. " Yeah, that'd be great thanks." Raven and Rubedo helped Kariz to move the bodies out of the way, but not into the view of the passengers. There would be yet another massive panic outbreak if they saw no one was flying the plane. Raven sat in the co-pilot's seat, amazed by the amount of instruments in the small area. Kariz sat in the pilot's seat. " So now what?" Kariz asked, wedging the knife out of the controls and gripping them with her hands. " Well, Ima is using her abilities to slow the plane down. I can get into the electronic controls and manipulate them if you drive the plane," Raven said, touching the instruments. " Right then. Let's land this baby." Rubedo stood behind the two, watching them. Raven closed her eyes and manually learnt what each instrument was about in a matter of seconds. " Right, we're closing in onto the airport. We need to get this plane to slow down more. Ima's doing a great job. I need to get the landing gear out and extend the flaps. Also, when the times comes to land, I need to put the jet engines in reverse thrust," Raven said, her eyes closed, concentrating hard. " You just need to steer it Kariz." " You said that before, but it's harder than it looks, which runway am I supposed to go down?" Kariz said, slightly panicking. " We need to contact the tower somehow. But none of us know Japanese. They should be able to understand English. Shouldn't they?" Raven asked. " How do I know!!" Kariz replied. " This is no time to panic," Raven said. She concentrated and found the communications line. Picking up the microphone headset, Raven asked Rubedo to fit it onto Kariz. He did so easily. " It should be hooked up," Raven said, her eyes still closed. The airport approached through the front windows. It was turning into sunset so the runway was lit up. Kariz made contact with the tower and started to receive instructions on what she should do. She repeated them for Raven to hear so she could do it to the equipment. The landing gear was out and the flaps were extended to slow the plane. Kariz steered the plane to the runway indicated. She was told to land the front wheel on the white line. When the plane landed, Raven was instructed to turn the flaps up and turn the jet engines to reverse thrust for 30 seconds. The plane bumped onto the runway and slowed down. In the back, Ima slumped in her chair, her job finished. Zane held her in her seat at the plane stopped. Emergency vehicles screamed to the plane's assistance, but when they got inside, the Zodiacs, Rubedo and Ben were gone. ---------------------------- " Miraculously, none of the passengers were killed, although the pilot and co-pilot were murdered by the suspected terrorists. That leaves the question, who landed the plane safely? The answer lies in the eye-witness accounts of the passengers. All claimed that a group of young people fought of the suspected terrorists and landed the plane. The authorities have found no such evidence that this group of young people existed on the plane. However, the personnel in the tower support this account. Who are these people? All the passengers wish to thank them for their help. Until then, this is Aiko signing off..." The group laid back in a large living area in a modest hotel on the outskirts of Kyoto. " Looks like we're famous," Raven sighed. Everyone was exhausted from their ordeal. Now all they had to do was to find the Zodiac in Japan. ___________________________________________ OOC: Sorry for the very very late intro. And sorry to move it along so much. But it looked like things needed to be refreshed. 7. A tear dropped from Rei's eye onto Matthew's shoulder as he embraced her. " Don't die on me... got that?" In the background, Rei could hear the Knight, Enji, charging. His warcry filled her ears. " Thank you..." she whispered into Matthew's ear. A sudden clash of swords echoed through the bright room. Matthew's head swivelled to the clash where he saw Rei and Enji facing each other, with their swords between their faces. He looked to where his arms hung in the air, then back at Rei. She had moved so quickly they he didn't realise that she disappeared. He then realised that she had a black leather outfit on (see attachment). " What did you do to Lea you bastard?" Rei growled at him, gritting her teeth furiously. The Knight smiled. " Wouldn't you like to know?" With fury in her heart, she threw back the Knight. Matthew was amazed. Her whole personality had changed when things started to get very serious. It was like a twin had appeared with a much more powerful, and darker, persona. The two clashed. Both the Knight and Matthew were surprised at how Rei fought. She used everything to her advantage without wasting energy. " Amazing..." Matthew murmured. OOC: Sorry, I can't write anymore. It's 3 am here. I'll continue when I've had some sleep. Sorry. And sorry to use your pic Sakura. It was the only one I could find that had some sort of cat-suit on. 8. Alex looked around the island. The rain stopped completely now. The clouds began to break and a small amount of sunlight was let through, warming the group up. " We still need to find shelter," Kyo reminded them. Alex looked at him, his head bleeding. " Right." Alex stood. He instructed Ken to go find some shelter along with Drew. The two hurried off. Midday was passing. Alex opened his survival kit and took out a bandage. He approached Kyo who looked at him with a strange look on his face. Alex smiled. " Don't worry. I'm just going to bandage you up. Don't look at me with that expression." Kyo sighed and let Alex fix him up. " Sometimes Alex, I really think you're weird." Alex froze. " You think so?" " Yeah. Well for a guy, you're really caring and considerate, especially around Jace. You're always helpful and looking out for everyone." " And you think that's weird?" " Well, sorta..." Alex finished with the bandage without another word and went back to his place to fix up his own wound. It still stung from the saltwater. It was difficult to reach around his back to dress the wound, but it was impossible to patch it up by himself. He noticed that Kina was looking over at him intently. She looked like she recovered a little. He smiled lightly at her. " Something wrong Kina?" he asked, faking a happy appearance, like he always had done. " Well... I was wondering if I could help you out... since you can't reach your back by yourself..." she murmured, blushing red. Alex felt a pain of guilt. He sighed. " All right but after we get to the new shelter." " Ok." In a few moments, Drew and Ken returned to tell the others they found some sort of abandoned shack on the other side of the island. Aka spoke up and mentioned that the island mustn't be very big if that's the case. Everyone else agreed and began the trek to the shack. -------------------------------- Fumbling through the tropical growth, Alex looked at everyone who were following Ken and Drew to the shack. Alex was at the back, his luggage slung over his back along with his survival kit. " I wonder what happened to the teachers..." After another few minutes the group arrived at the shack. It was bigger than what everyone thought it would be. They walked inside and found that it had some sort of thatched roof that keep out the rain earlier. Setting down their things, everyone claimed a piece of ground as their own and laid out their blankets. " What a trip..." Alex sighed. Kyo nodded. " I agree. Talk about eventful. Haven't we had enough for two days?" Amy smiled at him. Alex smiled to himself. She obviously liked Kyo. " So what now Alex?" Drew asked. Everyone looked at him. " Why is everyone looking at me?" he asked, confused. " And why are you asking me what to do?" " You're the leader," Aka said, lying down on her blanket. " When was I designated that? I don't remember being asked, Alex replied rather stiffly. " When you told us to go get firewood," Ken replied. Alex let out a loud exasperated sigh. He didn't really want to be leader at all, that was Jace's job. He hung his head low. " Something wrong Alex?" Kina asked, stretching out her hand to him. He batted it away gently. " No..." With that he stood and walked outside, alone. Everyone looked at each other. Kina watched Alex disappear along the beach outside. ------------------------------------------------ On the other island... Jace and Zeph had found some dry wood and started a fire near the entrance of the cave, so as to not fill the cave with smoke. The rain eased off and the sun came out slowly. " That was lucky..." Jace said as he watched the clouds drift away. The day was starting to get a little hot. He peeled off his blanket and stood outside of the cave, his body sore and stiff all over. The saltwater didn't do him any good either. He turned to the group - Zeph, Ran, Rin, Micky and Kaela. " Shall we go fishing then?" ______________________________________________ OOC: DC's group: Have fun and go fishing. Get involved with each other and have something happen, it doesn't matter what happens, just someone do something that involves the whole group. My group: Decide to go fishing to get some food. However, keep Alex out of it. He'll return but at a later time. I'll be introducing a few new 'entities' soon to liven up things.
9. Kei looked around. She heard heavy running footsteps come up the hallway. Alex appeared out of the doorway, looking rather red in the face, puffing. " Alex! So everyone is here now?" Ashlyn said. Everyone nodded. " Then lets go. We'll meet Leo at the shoreline." Everyone hoisted their luggage over various parts of their bodies and started to make their way to the shoreline. As Kei stood up, she froze. Something wasn't right. There was a slight pulling in her stomach. It always happened when she knew something was going to go wrong, but she would never find out what until it happened. Her eyes narrowed. " Hmmm... everyone's going to have to be on guard. Something just isn't right." Placing her rucksack on her back, Kei adjusted her hair with a slight push from her hand and followed the others out. As soon as she stepped outside, she noticed that mist thickly covered the surface of the lake. A prickling sensation crept over her neck. " I wonder if he is trying to tell me something..." Kei kept quiet about her suspicions as she lagged behind the group, deep in thought. ----------------------------------- Soon the group found the mooring for their boats. A gentle old man stood at the end, waiting for them. A fleet of about three small boats bobbed in the water. " So, are you ready?" he asked, a wry grin on his face, as if he knew something they didn't. OOC: Sorry Astdis for moving it along.
10. I had to rearrange the groups because most of the people in mine were inactive. So, Astdis, you are now in my group. Who Am I?, follow the group listings I've put in my most recent post above. Thanks.
11. Alex and Jace rode to the airport in a cab with their luggage in the boot. Alex looked out the window. It was a clear sunny day. He yawned slightly. He did get up at the crack of dawn to get ready, only because he knew Jace would make them late, which he already had. Memories of the previous night kept interfering his mind-track. Alex shook himself mentally, his silvery-blue hair slightly moving side to side. " Something wrong Alex?" Jace asked. " I'm all right," Alex said, turning to smile at Jace, but he found he couldn't, not like he used to anyway. " I'm just excited about this vacation. We've never been out of the city, let alone the country." " Very true Princey-boy. I wonder if any of the teachers will be coming with us," Jace said, putting his hands behind his head. Alex laughed. " Are you wanting Ms Nevada to accompany us?" For the first time in his life, Alex flt a slight twinge of jealousy pass through his heart. " It could be fun. I could steal her underwear while she's in the shower." Jace chuckled to himself as he thought of all the nasty things he could do. " Now now Jace-chan, that's not nice. I'll have to fight you again if that's the case," Alex said, smiling at him. Jace groaned. " Don't remind me Princey-boy." Soon, they arrived at the airport. Alex paid the cabbie with a tip and he and Jace slung their luggage over their backs and walked to the designated area where they were supposed to meet. Upon arrival, they saw everyone there. " At least everyone is here," Alex said, half relieved that they were the last. " Ah, so the last two arrive," came the voice of the Principal from behind them. The two boys jumped slightly. Mr Takeshi Yami was sort of a creepy guy, plus a pervert to most of the girls in Jace and Alex's grade. " Yes sir," Alex said. " We're boarding in a few minutes. You two are lucky you didn't miss the flight," Mr Yami said. " We'de get there anyway," Jace said, looking at the teachers scattered around the group. To his delight, Miss Nevada was amongst them. " So, lets get on the plane, Jace-chan," Alex said, breaking Jace out of his nasty thoughts. " Ok ok ok." The two carried on their on-board luggage and took their seats next to each other on the small private jet. The whole of their grade was on the plane, all happily talking to one another. " Alex! I didn't think you'd be here!" Zeph said from the back. Alex smiled. " I wouldn't miss this for the world. This will be great fun!" The grade started to sing '99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall' while the plane was being taxied to the runway. Alex and Jace buckled themselves in. The jet took off. The acceleration was incredible. Everyone in the plane was pushed back into their seats. Soon they were in the air, gliding in the air like birds. Everyone was awestruck by the view out of the plane. The seatbelt sign went off and people started to move around the plane, talking to each other. --------------------------------------------- The flight took about two hours. By the end of it, the plane was starting to experience some minor turbulence. Everyone was told by the pilot to take their seats and buckle up. The plane soon landed at a small airport. Although the airport was small, it was packed with tourists. The day was sunny. It was early morning in their timezone. The students and teachers disembarked from the plane with farewells from the plane's crew. The group moved out to where a bus was waiting for them. Everyone boarded and they began their trip towards the boats that would take them to the islands. --------------------------------------------- The bus stopped after an hour of driving. By this time, most of the students were a little weary from sitting down for three hours straight with nothing to do. Alex stepped out. He could smell the salt in the air. The sounds of waves crashing against the moorings echoed through the air. " It's nice here," he said. Jace jumped down from the last step from the bus. " Yeah, it's all right. It's hard to know that you're in a different country." " True." The teachers led the weary students over to three boats. They divided the group into half. Alex was with Kyo, Amy, Aka, Drew and Kina. Jace was with Zeph, Ran, Rin, Micky and Kaela. The two groups went onto separate boats while the teachers also boarded a separate boat. And they were off. The boats scooted across the water as if it was ice. Alex sat at the side, watching the water scoot underneath them. Then he noticed that the sea was getting rougher and rougher. He looked upwards and saw dark clouds gather over them. " Oh no." Waves crashed against the boat. The captains on the boats started to tell the students and teachers so sit tight. The seas became rough and soon the fleet of three started to drift apart. Rain started to pour down. Alex ushered everyone under the eveings. He looked around and couldn't see the other boats. Lightning streaked the sky. Thunder rumbled. " This isn't good." A giant wave suddenly crashed over the boat and made it capsize. Alex's whole world spun as he found himself underwater. He looked around in the greyish water. He could see the others swimming under the water, grabbing their luggage from sinking. Alex swam over to his and grabbed it. He surfaced, gasping for breath. The wound in his back stung from the saltwater. An island appeared out of the greyness. Swimming over to it, he saw most of his group there. All except Kina. " KINA!" Alex realised that she couldn't swim very well with a sore leg. Diving back into the water, he swam furiously over to the sinking boat. He saw Kina clinging for dear life to a piece of driftwood. " Kina! I'm coming!" Alex yelled. As soon as he was over there, he told her to put her arms around his neck as he swam back to the island. He dragged himself up the beach. Kyo and Drew helped Kina from Alex's back as Alex coughed up all the seawater he managed to swallow in his rescue effort. Amy and Aka helped Alex to his feet. The rain continued to pour down. They made their way over to a small place in the undergrowth that covered from the rain. Amy and Aka helped Alex sit down as he breathed heavily. " We.... we need to make a fire to dry off some blankets for everyone. There... there is a survival kit in everyone's luggage. We'll need them to make a fire." Alex looked into th grey landscape around them. I hope the other are ok. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: There we go everyone. I'll post up what's the situation and what's to happen next in the Underground. Hope this is ok with everyone!!
12. Back at the apartment, Alex cleaned up Jace a bit roughly. Too many thoughts were running through his head to be concentrating solely on doing one thing. " Oi! Watch it Alex! That hurt!" Jace yelped. Alex didn't say a thing but kept dabbing a sterilising liquid onto Jace's cuts, this time more carefully. Jace watched him curiously. Usually when Alex went silent, he was angry. " What's up Princey-boy? You mad or something?" Jace asked. Alex shook his head as he packed away everything. " Just thinking about some things. Nothing of importance." " I hate when you use big words." Alex smiled. It confused Jace enough to get him off his case. " I think that's all Jace-chan. Have shower to wash that dry blood off and then go to bed," Alex said. " Sometimes you sound like my mother," Jace retorted, pulling his shirt back over his torso. " I'm just trying to help you." " Yeah yeah." Jace walked to the bathroom to do what Alex told him too. Alex made his way to the kitchen, taking out a bottle of water from the fridge. He opened it and took a gulp. His mind was so cluttered with thoughts, he couldn't differ from one to another. Hearing the shower turn off, Alex made sure Jace was in his room before heading for the shower. He turned on the shower after stripping off and let the warm water run over his body. He winced slightly as the wound on his back stung a little. His silvery-blue hair stuck to his face as he leant against the shower wall, thoughts running through his head. Why did Jace do that? Why did he kiss me? Isn't that wrong? Two guys kissing? Memories from his childhood ran through his mind. His mother telling him that love was only between a man and a woman. How society sees women together and men together as wrong. That when he grew up, he should find a woman he should love and get married with. Alex shookhis head, trying to get those memories to fade away. It's so confusing. Why? Why did he have to do that? Alex slammed his fist into the wall. He was so confused. Dammit. He was just messing around with me... messing with my feelings.... damn him. Turning off the water, Alex stepped out of the shower and dried himself off. He walked to his room with the towel wrapped around his waist. Putting on his boxers, he slid into his bed with more confusing thoughts entering his head. ----------------------------------------------- OOC: Ok DC, you can start off in the morning, and you can get us there if yu want. Everyone else, get to the airport asap. 14. OOC: Sorry for my absence everyone. Things will get back on track now! ^_^ ---------------------------------------------- Alex smiled. " I think I have some things to sort out with Jace-chan. I'm sorry Kina. We'll go out to the movies when your leg gets better yes?" Kina nodded. " Ok. Do you want to drop you off at your apartment then?" " If it wouldn't be too much to ask." " No problem," Tina replied. The car swung around and in a matter of minutes, Alex was waving them goodbye on the path in front of his apartment building. He watched them disappear into the darkness of the city. Turning, Alex trudged upstairs. A smile came to his face when he remembered Kina scolding him for the injury to his back. He felt a little sad for her though. He could see that she had feelings for him, but he just couldn't return them, no matter how hard he tried. It was the same for all his fangirls. He felt sorry for them all. Finally Alex came to his door and tried to open it. It was locked. " It's locked? Why is it locked?" Alex fumbled out with his keys and opened the door. He switched the lights on to see a hole in the plaster wall. " Jace..." Before thinking, Alex walked to the laundry to get the toolkit and a cover. He walked back to the hole and plastered it back up. Alex had become a master at the cover-up job since they had moved into this apartment. The walls were flimsy, and sometimes the boys' spars got a little out of hand and knocked a few holes in the walls. After plastering it back up, Alex noticed that Jace had read the letter because it was out of the envelope on the kitchen bench. Putting the toolkit and cover away, Alex walked over to the letter and read it over again. It said: To Alex and Jace, Since the repairs on the school will be taking up a week and your year took the heaviest hit from the accident, your year co-ordinators and principal have organised a week's holiday to the Xi-Lien Islands in the South China Sea. Hopefully everyone's injuries will be helped by the warm weather and the rest. The school has paid for the trip for everyone in your grade. Everyone in your grade has been informed. Pack your belongings as you will be leaving tomorrow. Excuse the short notice. Everyone will receive a survival kit as well. School Principal Mr Takeshi Yami Alex sighed. Talk about short notice, but at least the warm climate will relieve the pain of injuries, both emotional and physical. He then noticed that he couldn't hear Jace inside the apartment. Normally he could hear the moving of his bedsheets as he rolled around, sleeping, but tonight, there was nothing. Dropping the letter onto the bench, Alex walked out the apartment door to see Kitoyama-san hobbling up the stairs. " You shouldn't be walking those stairs," Alex said, concerned. " You should be more concerned about Jace. He left about 10 minutes ago," Kitoyama said before hobbling back down the stairs and back into her apartment. Alex knew exactly where Jace had gone. -------------------------------------- Walking along in the dark, Alex finally arrived at the soccer field behind their school. In the distance, he saw a figure sitting on one of the seats on the side of the field. It was hunched over, as if looking at the ground. Alex could tell that it was Jace. He walked over there coolly, hands in pockets. Jace, hearing footsteps approach, jumped up. He slightly relaxed when he saw Alex's face appear out of the darkness. " What do you want?" he sneered. " You should be at home, resting. Especially since we have a trip tomorrow," Alex said coolly, his hands in his pockets, relaxed. " You can't tell me what to do Princey-boy!" Jace roared at Alex. " No, but I can advise you on your well-being." " You irriate me." " I'm supposed to." " Heh." Jace smiled. He didn't expect that to come from Alex. " You running away again?" Alex said, looking Jace square in the eyes. " You know, you can't run from them forever. You have to confront those issues of the past, whether now, or later. I'm always here, as I've always been. Those memories might haunt you, but remember, they're just memories. They aren't what's here and now. If you forget that, then what's the use of you." _____________________________________________________________________ OOC: Ah hah. Finally. Now everyone knows the contents of the letter now. Everyone read the notice in the Underground thread please!! I will explaining who needs to post what next!! Thanks.
15. Clash after clash echoed through the night air. Kira and Yuki glared at each other silently as their swords did the talking between them. Kira used her newly found ability of Teleportation to dodge Yuki's well-aimed slashes. The two weaved and dodged each other's attacks until they both appeared immediately. Both were panting heavily. Their skills were evenly matched. Neither could get the advantage over the other in a fair fight. Kira stood, breathing heavily. Yuki was bent over, but a smile creased his lips. " Well, this does present a problem." Kira looked at him, a steely glint in her eyes. " Indeed it is." Yuki looked up at Kira who had now fully recovered. He too had recovered. " It seems that neither of us have been using our full abilities. How about we raise the bar?" Kira glared at him. " You sure you want to taste the dirt?" " I believe you re mistaken. You will be the one who will be face down on the ground." " Words are just words Yuki. Actions speak louder." " Agreed." Kira's eyes began to turn a deep sunset orange, accompanied by red flecks. They looked glazed over as if they were windows. Her whole presence seemed to become more menacing, more swordsman-like. Yuki took a step back when he saw her eyes. They were the most horrifying thing he had ever seen. Kira held her katana, ready to start. Yuki took up his katana shakily. " You should be scared, Yuki," Kira said, her voice almost like a growl of a preying tiger. She attacked. In an instant, Yuki found himself flat on the ground with Kira's katana under his chin. His eyes were wide with horror. He didn't even see her start her attack, let alone finish it. Her katana glistened in the moonlight. " Never underestimate an opponent. That lesson was taught to me by a man I have to defeat. Now, you're in my way." Yuki sniggered. " You're the one who underestimated your opponent." He looked up with icy-blue eyes with white flecks in them. And they had the same glazed over look as Kira's. Kira stumbled back. Yuki got to his feet. " It seems you still haven't learnt that lesson." Kira regained her composure. " So, you have the ability of Ryuugan too. Then let's go. I want to test myself against you." Yuki smiled. " I thought you'd never say that. This is exciting!" Two flamings auras built up around the two samurai - Kira's white, Yuki's icy blue. ------------------------------ Meanwhile, from the darkness, Yuri Rein watched the two samurai manifest their swordsman spirits within themselves. He watched with interest as this new foe pushed Kira to use her now trained Ryuugan. Yuri was a calculating type of guy, so he wanted to know about his opponent, who had trained non-stop since their first meeting, just for the purpose that she could defeat him. He found it slightly amusing. However, now Yuri realised that she may have surpassed him in ability. But she was pushing herself beyond her physical limits at this stage. That concerned him. Yuki seemed much better in technique and ability, but Kira had the raw talents of a samurai - something Yuri had yet to see from Yuki. Yuri had been watching the fight all along, and he knew Kira felt his presence. Was that why she was pushing herself? No. Like any true warrior who met a stronger opponent, it was only natural to push themselves to the brink of life and death. ------------------------------ Yuki suddenly looked over to the side, where Yuri stood. " It seems we have a visitor." Quicker than lightning, he threw a throwing knife at Yuri, who dodged it with relative ease, revealing himself. Walking out to join the two, he froze for a second, the two sets of Ryuugan eyes now upon him. It felt like a bucket of ice cold water was poured over his head. He shivered slightly before regaining his composure. " Yuri Rein, ex-Commander of the Knights of Adrae. There seems to be a price on your head for treason," Yuki said, his gaze firmly on Yuri. Yuri smiled. " I suspected as such." " So, what are you doing interrupting our fight? It was quite enjoyable without your interference." " I was merely watching how Kira was progressing in her training since our first meeting." " Ah. A history between you two? I'm rather jealous." " Heh. Don't be." While the two men talked, Kira grew more and more infuriated. How dare Yuri interfere with their match! It was theirs, and theirs alone. It was just like him. Her flaming aura increase in feriocity. This wasn't what Kira wanted to do. Her power was starting to increase tenfold, however, her control over it was become lesser. Soon, she wasn't in control of her body, Ryuugan was. With a loud warcry, Kira attacked. She now unsheathed her second katana and took both Yuri and Yuki on. Both men were taken by surprise. Her ability was becoming like her Sensei's - all-powerful and unforgiving. Yuri and Yuki took heavy damage, their clothes becoming tattered and their bodies being treated as if they were at a butcher. Soon, both were under the mercy of Kira's blades. All were breathing heavily. Kira's eyes looked pure evil. She stood there, panting, but as still as death. Her grip was firm on her blades. " Even with my use of Ryuugan, I was yet to defeat her. How amusing," Yuki remarked. Yuri just looked at Kira, ignoring Yuki's comments. So this was Ryuugan at it's most lethal, its most uncontrollable. Unable to differentiate between friend and foe. Even against the two of us, she was unstoppable. " She's about to finish us," Yuki said quietly. It seemed like he was scheming something. Kira lunged forward for the finishing blow. Yuki, using his Ryuugan, dodged it. However, Yuri wasn't as lucky. The blow was aimed at their throats. But Yuri dodged, and instead, it pierced his heart. He gagged, blood frothing at his mouth. Yuki thought he had his chance and slashed at Kira. Miraciously, she blocked it behind her back, using her free katana. Yuki jumped back. " It does seem I've underestimated you. Next time, I won't be so unprepared." With that, he vanished. Kira dropped to her knees, her Ryuugan finally giving her back the control to her body. Her first sight was seeing Yuri dying. Tears started to leak out of her eyes. She scrambled over to him, laying his head in her lap. " Looks... like you... defeated me..." Yuri coughed. Tears splashed onto his cheek from above. " No I didn't. It wasn't a fair fight. I didn't beat you," Kira cried. Yuri coughed some more, blood again frothing at his mouth. He smiled weakly. " Fair or not... you defeated me..." " Yuri... I'm so sorry..." " There's nothing... to be sorry for... I died like a warrior... and by the hand of... the one who said... she would defeat me... I couldn't... ask for more than... that." ---------------------------------------- That day, it felt like I won something, but in return, lost somethings else that were more important. I buried Yuri at the summit of the mountain range where my path led. I found the most beautiful headstone I could and carved remembering words into it. Every traveller that would pass by would stop to read those sorrowful words. Yuri Rein Commander of the Knights of Adrae A man who died a warrior's death by the hands of the one who vowed to defeat him from the beginning, the one who loved him from the beginning. 16. Icy eyes met a fiery gaze. Both warriors were locked by each other's gaze, neither wanting to back down. " Well, it seems you're one not to take lightly," Yuki said, glaring at her. Kira stared back coldly. " And it seems you are not one to have an honorable fight." She slowly got to her feet, her eyes never quiverring from the two's locked gaze. Yuki smirked. " That was a bit harsh. But, you are like your eyes, harsh and cruel as ice." " I'll take that as a compliment." An instant passed and Yuki suddenly found a katana under his chin. There was a look of surprise on his face at first, but it soon turned to glee. " I'm impressed." " Give me an inch, and I'll take a mile," Kira replied. The two were now on even grounds. " Shall we start? I'm getting rather tired of just standing here." Yuki smiled. " Agreed. This shall be an honorable duel." " Very well." The two lowered their weapons at the same time and made preparations for the duel. Kira took off her overcoat and mediatated for a few minutes, focusing herself. Yuki made sure his clothing wasn't restricting any of his movements as he half-showed off his style of swordsmanship. However, he was disappointed to learn that Kira was completely ignoring him. After a few minutes passed, the two faced each other, katanas at their sides. " Rules?" Yuki asked. " Only those of the samurai code," Kira replied. " Deciding a winner?" " The last one standing." " Very well." All of a sudden, the two disappeared. Random clashes of swords were heard in the clearing the two found in. Their speed was god-like, impossible to see with an untrained eye. And, even if it is was trained, they would have difficulty keeping up with their unfathomable pace. You could see glimpses of the glimmer of the katanas clashing when the moonlight caught the blades. 17. Twirling her hair back into a bun with two chopsticks, Keilantra looked through her room's only window. It looked out onto the open green pastures for a few miles, then forest reigned the landscape there after. She sighed. This was it. Finally, they were getting somewhere on this expedition of theirs. Walking downstairs, she fumbled around with her white leather, mid-length trenchcoat. It reminded her that she was a researcher of sorts, but still had a little spice to it. Kei saw no one down in the dining room. " First one down here. How quaint." She sat down, waiting for the others.

She lived with her only guardian, her elderly grandfather. They didn't have much money since neither of them could get work. Her grandfather was too old and Raven was too weak to do any work for the nearby farmers. They lived off the land, gathering what food they could to eat from nature. One day when Raven was 7 years old, her grandfather grew gravely ill. In order to pay for a doctor and medicine, Raven sold herself as a slave to one of the farmers to pay for her grandfather's well-being. Forced to do work from before dawn until well after dusk, Raven withered away and became frail. The endless hours of labour and little-to-no sustainance were taking a toll on the small child. Her grandfather watched on helplessly as she got whipped for collapsing in the field day after day. In one incident when she was being punished, Raven managed to electrocute the punisher to death. At that moment, she enjoyed the feeling of killing. Like all Gemini, Raven has two sides. In this incident, the evil side emerged. From then on, Raven grew stronger and stronger, becoming more resilient and confident. Years later, after her grandfather's death, Raven joined the police force. The reason was because of her upbringing. She wished for no other to feel the injustice of slavery and punishment. As the years progressed, Raven grew into one of the best police officers in the country. He was very popular with the ladies and had a great many friends, both male and female. Throughout his compulsory schooling life, Zane worked hard and received very good grades. At his graduation, Zane was the one who made the farewell speech for the departing seniors. He wove his words around the audience and captivated them, causing most to break down into tears. Unknown to him, that was the first time he used his power of creating illusions. Continuing on, Zane was granted a scholarship in Cambridge with aspirations of becoming a doctor. Ever since he was small, he wanted to help people and creatures. If ever he saw an injured bird or small animal, he would pick it up, take it home and care for it until it was well enough to fend for itself again. Five years later, Zane completed his degree with Honours ahead of scheduled time. He worked very hard, his passion for helping people growing. After graduating at the top of his class, he moved to Morocco where there was an abundance of work with the poor and needy. He has been living there ever since.

20. Ok, first Albel. I just didn't want you to have Kina and Alex kiss because I have something special planned for that. I just didn't want it in your post. Me sowwie if I offended you. Lady Dust, I purposely left out the contents of the letter. When people receive it, they should have surprised looks on their faces. You need to be very crafty in the way you write here, because you don't know the contents of the letters, you can't refer to it. Therefore, I don't want anyone making the contents of the letter up. This is a challenge to you guys to see if you can write about something without knowing what it is. Is that better?

22. Alex smiled kindly at Kina. " It's fine Kina-san. I'll go out to the movies with you." Kina looked up brightly, and her sister had a satisfied smile on her lips. " Is the movie soon?" Alex asked, pulling his shirt back over his wound. His arms muscles ripped fractionally. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see both ladies melting. Kina snapped out of it. " Yeah. Umm... what about Jace?" Alex looked towards Jace's room whistfully. " I think his pride is hurting more than anything today. I'm unsure whether I should leave him, or bring him with. Neither would be a good option." " Um... you ... you don't have to go if you're too unsure about Jace," Kina said, a single tear rolling down her cheek - the fear of rejection. Alex smiled again and thumbed it away. " I'll go have a talk with him. If you hear lots of yelling, please, go outside. I would not like ladies hearing such things." Tina smiled. " You're a perfect gentleman Alex." Alex bowed his head slightly. " Thank you. Now, please excuse me." Standing, Alex walked calmly to Jace's room. The door was shut, but unlocked. Alex pushed it open to see Jace on his bed, staring at the ceiling. The room was full of tension. " Jace-chan..." " Get out Princey-boy." " But... I wanted to talk Jace-chan." " Would you stop calling me that!" Jace sat up and glared at the Prince. Alex wanted to glare back, but couldn't bring himself to do it. " No, I won't." " Princey, you're pushing my nerves." " And you are pushing my temper!" Alex said coldly. " What's your problem Jace?" Flopping back down on his bed, Jace was silent and stared at the ceiling. Jace was really pushing Alex's temper, but Alex remained calm. " If you don't want to talk, then let that be. I was going to ask you if you wanted to come with myself and Kina-san to a movie." Jace was silent for a few minutes before saying this. " You know what they say, three's a crowd." That was it. Alex snapped. He strode over to Jace and got him by the scruff of the shirt. " You pushed me Jace. Why? Do you enjoy seeing me like this?" He threw Jace back into his bed like he was a piece of garbage. As Alex got to the door, he stopped and didn't look at Jace, who was looking at Alex stunned. " Come talk to me when you've grown up!" With that, Alex disappeared into his room to get changed to go out. --------------------------------------- Jace sat up. The apartment was now silent - completely silent. Getting out of the bed, Jace made his way to the kitchen. As always, Alex had done the dishes from when the two girls were here. The night was getting old. There was a note on the bench for him from Alex. A letter lay beside it, previously opened. The note said: Jace-chan, Seems like we're going on a little vacation. Read the letter. It's from school. Alex Jace crumpled up the note angrily and threw it into the bin. He took out the letter from the inside of the envelope and read it. His mouth nearly dropped to the floor. OOC: AND SO THIS GET INTERESTING! Our first major adventure is about to happen. I'll need people to finish of their nights, and receive a letter, but you can't say anything about what's in the letter. So no making-up stuff. In my next post, you shall see all! Albel, start off on Alex and Kina's date. DON'T HAVE THEM KISS. I have something special planned for that.
23. Kira dodged one easily, moving to the side. She kept both katanas in their sheaths but she decided to strap them onto her back. Twirling around her ninja-clad opponents like a ballet dancer, Kira almost sighed to herself bored. Who the hell do these guys think they are? I mean, they can't even land one hit on me, let alone get 6 inches near me. Her amatuer opponents slashed at her with swords, knives, kadochis, anything that was a weapon was flung, sliced or drawn at her. The astonished expressions on their faces showed through their ninja masks. How could this little girl dodge every attack without drawing either of her swords or manage to get away without a scratch? It was impossible in their eyes. Kira smiled to herself smugly. It was easy to read their movements, therefore, she could get out of their way easily and quickly. But to inexperienced warriors, it looked like she was moving at an unbelievable speed. A small chuckle eminated from Kira as she began to enjoy toying with these idiots. She wasn't doing anything to them. It was just the pathetic attempts to claim her life were starting to get ridiciously funny. Backflipping, Kira now stood with her back to a large trunked elm tree, an exception to the pines. " Oh no, what are you going to me now?" Kira said sarcastically, dramatically putting her palm to her forehead in a fake faint. As her arm went up, a small knife was thrown from an unknown source and headed for the middle of Kira's palm. Hearing the knife be released, Kira was ready for it. She swiped it out of mid air, now with a look of seriousness in her eyes and dropped the knife to the ground. " So, someone wants to play more seriously than the others. Fine. I'll rid these pests so there will be nothing interferring us," Kira said, a deadly serious tone in her voice. In a few instants, each ninja lay on the ground unconscious. Kira held her father's sword, relaxed, in her right hand. Each sword had a preferred hand - her mother's, left, and her father's, right. " Show yourself," Kira demanded coolly. Her whole persona changed within the instance of hearing the knife be released. Now a lethal glint lit her icy blue eyes. There was silence - absolute silence. But it was only silence for the ones who couldn't truly listen. Kira heard faint whooshs of air being moved as the mastermind behind the attack revealed themselves. When Kira looked up into the face of the agressor, she thought she was looking in a mirror. But reality suck in, and the slight changes in the two's appearances became clear. It was a man, approximately the same age as Kira, with long blue-mauve hair and fiery red-orange eyes. Shock must have been evident on her face because the man smirked. " A mirror you think..." he said softly. " How interesting..." Kira stood firm, but her thoughts were jumping around like rabbits. This guy can read thoughts? " Exactly Mayaoko. You are advanced in your training as a samurai, but, as your sensei says, you aren't a samurai just yet..." the man said again. " Excuse me." " Your sensei, Mr Jina Akatomo I believe. He told me a few little facts about you. Such as your ability to improve your skills when you are angered. Most warriors lose concentration in such a state. However..." The man looked as if what he was saying was just ordinary conversation. To Kira, however, having an opponent who knows what she is capable of without witnessing first-hand was disturbing. But, her serious face didn't change a bit. The man looked at her with his red-orange eyes. " And then, there's the ability of Ryuugan - the Dragon Eyes. It is a gift passed down from parent to child, in your case, both of your parents had it, therefore it was inevitable that you, too, would possess this rarest of warrior gifts. The ability itself is the ability to see through an opponent's attack and find their weakness almost instantly. Isn't that true?" Kira looked at him coldly. " I think that's enough talking." Her eyes started have orange rings around them. One of the man's eyebrows arched. " Getting agitated are we?" " No. Just sick of pointless chit-chat. Fine. You know what I am capable of. Now how about your introduction?" The man smiled. " Quite rude of me. I know everything about you Mayaoko, but you know nothing about me. Quite unfair. I will give you my name only, since that's where I started my search." It was Kira's turn to arch the eyebrow. " Search? Please, spare me the drama. Name. Now." The man clicked his tongue disapprovingly. " I know now what your sensei said was true. You are too rash, too impatient." Without even seeing what would happen next, Kira suddenly found a katana blade underneath her chin. The man smiled. " My name is Yuki.... Yuki Ayaoko." 24. Kefira and Alec walked down the stainless white corridors. All were lit by brilliant fluros. Both of them shivered, scattered memories returning to them. " Everything feels so familar, and yet, so strange..." Kefira trailed off. " I agree. These white corridors... I remember them..." They both shivered again. " We should keep moving," Alec said. " Mm." They kept walking, trying to keep to what shadows there were. But the halls were too brightly lit to let them walk around easily. " There's so many questions I want to ask these people," Kefira said quietly. " Me too," Alec agreed. " But I want to know 'why' the most." " Yeah. Why us." Kefira nodded. They turned a corner and found themselves face-to-face with a troop of soldiers. The two teenagers froze. " Intruders! There the experiments. Get them!" the leader shouted from behind the group. The soldiers leapt at Alec and Kefira. One grabbed Kefira, who yelped at the force the soldier gripped her with. " KEFIRA!" Alec shouted. A large jet of flame spewed forth from his hand and burned the solider who held her. With the grip released, Kefira ran and hid behind Alec. She rubbed her wrist where the soldier had grabbed her. " Are you ok?" Alec asked, concerned. " Yes. Thank you." " Anytime." He turned back to the advancing group of soldiers. " They are the experiments! Take care men! Watch for their abilities! The boy's is pyrokinesis. Watch the girl! We don't know what hers is yet!" the leader shouted again. The front line quickly jumped at Alec and Kefira. Alec jumped back slightly, knocking Kefira to the ground. The soldiers grabbed Alec and restrained him. He flailed around, trying to get free. " Kefira! Run!" Kefira scrambled backwards as the second line of soldiers advanced on her. She suddenly felt her back against a wall. Panicking, Kefira looked around to the soldiers who looked down at her. " Are you sure she's an experiment? She hasn't used her powers." " Yes. Just get her god dammit before she's uses them." Kefira could hear Alec shouting at her from behind the soliders. She could feel the heat of the room rise as Alec used his powers. She could hear him struggling to get free. Standing up, Kefira looked the soldiers in the eyes. " Nobody hurts me or Alec!" Feeling her skin catch on fire, she quickly undressed and transformed. The horror in the soldier's eyes excited her as she transformed. Moving around them with ease, she took each of their lives with a single bite to their necks. Screams could be heard all throughout the facility. The bodies of the soldiers looked mummified as Kefira drained the last of them of their life force. Blood all around her mouth, she advanced towards the ones that held Alec. All of them, even Alec, had looks of horror on their faces, after seeing what she had done to the others. They quickly let Alec go as Kefira advanced towards them. " K...K... Kefira.... you're... a... a.. vampire..." Alec stuttered as she looked at him with blood red eyes. Don't worry. I can control this form enough that it won't kill you. Looking at the others soldiers, Kefira passed Alec as a breath of darkness and consumed the rest. Alec didn't want to look back. It was sickening enough, just hearing the screams and the sounds of the bodies being dumped on the floor. After hearing silence for a few moments, Alec dared turn around. He saw Kefira still in vampire form. " Can't you change back yet?" he said, almost gagging from the sight of the blood splatters over her face. Kefira saw this and wiped them away. " I don't think so. Maybe when a bit of time passes." " So you're going to walk around like that?" " I don't have much choice." Alec shivered and gathered up her clothes for when she transformed back. " Let's go." Kefira nodded and walked at his side, being a little taller than him now. OOC: Tag Anarchy.
25. Keilantra sighed and shook her head as she watched as her colleague, Alex, kindly led Patrick out of the pub. " That man could never hold his drink," Kei sighed. She sat at a table that she and Alex had been talking at, before he decided to go rescue Ashlyn from the drunk. " Always such a gentleman, Alex..." Kei stood and walked over to the girl who was studying a map very carefully. " Find anything?" Kei asked as she flicked a piece of her navyish hair out of her eyes. " Nothing yet." " Maybe you should get some rest. Your brain can't work on empty." " I know. I just want to get something before I go to bed." " That's all right." Kei looked kindly at Ashlyn who racked her brains over this map. " Bartender, can I have a white wine sprizter please?" Kei asked. " Of course lassie. Always loved the Scottish accent by the way," the bartender said, winking at her. " Why thank you." The bartender walked away and quickly came back with her sprizter. " Thank you very much kind sir." " No problems lassie." Kei looked over to Ashlyn who looked like her brain was about to explode. " Ashlyn, you know you're going to be a wreck tomorrow?" " I know but..." " Just have a rest for a few minutes. It's best that you do." " All right." Ashlyn put the map away for a few moments and ordered something to drink. Kei took a sip of her drink. " That feels better. Something to freshen you up." " Yeah." The two talked for about ten more minutes before Ashlyn insisted on going back to the map. Kei nodded and finished the rest of her drink. She thanked the bartender for his service, left a large tip and walked upstairs to her room. Locking the door behind her, she stripped off and let her hair out of the normal bun it was. It cascaded down to half-way down her back. Kei walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. She waited until the water was warm and stepped in. The warm water ran all over her body, refreshing her body. A few minutes more of the complete bliss and Kei stepped out of the shower, drying herself off with a fluffly white towel. She walked back out into the main room. Books covered the majority of the floor and table. Some even lay on her bed. Kei shifted them off, shutting them and lay them on the floor. She dressed herself in her pjs and slid into the warm bed. A few minutes later and she was asleep. OOC: Sorry its not really good. Didn't have much to go on.
