1. *suddenly screams happily* YOU CAN TELL WHO IT IS, YOU CAN TELL WHO IT IS!!!! *grabs Tasis in a hug, then dances around* Ginny has reached the next level of artist!! Until this point, people would always tell me the pic looked nice...but um, who was it? THANK YOU ALL--YOU'VE MADE MY DAY! (You can tell by all the caps. ^^)
2. Dangit, Sara, now you HAVE to tell me why you put that in there! It's gonna bug me forever if you don't! @_@ Erhm, back on topic, more critiques and comments welcome.
3. I don't like the idea of the US forcibly "taking control" like they are in Iraq. I don't like the idea of people, either civilians OR soldiers from EITHER side, dying. But the many things I've heard about Saddam have scared and chilled me. It's time to put him down, for good. Sad to say, but sometimes war is the only way to resolve things. Yet I am too stupid at the moment to pull examples. They are out there, though. EDIT What's this I'm hearing about surrender talks? And about how the American military is pushing the Iraqi military to turn on Saddam. Hardly the "Bush happily wants to blown up Iraq" sense I've been getting from some of you.
4. Keio glanced behind her as the vehicles chuttered quietly to themselves in park. Kyuki, please be careful. Return soon. I don't know how I can go into this battle without you... "Princess?" Keio glanced down at Mikemon and smiled. "Yeah?" "It's going to be ok." Keio looked startled. Kyukimon was the only other Digimon that could ever tell when Keio was distressed about something. Or maybe she was just easy to read. "Ok, Peach, I believe you." "You are still worried about Kyukimon, aren't you?" "Heh...if you had seen what I had when we first met..." Keio trailed off, and the pair's attention was suddenly riveted to Raijinmon's unexpected appearance. Keio paled, and her mind instantly pictured Haku. Panicking inwardly, she tried her best to mantain her cool, and mentally whispered her promise again. Is this one of yours, Haku? Well, if it is, I don't care what that other you throws at us...I'm coming to save you. I know you are out there somewhere. That Haku that I know, that I saw that one moment. We're going to make that moment last a lot longer. I promise. Raijinmon was screeching. Keio looked to Mikemon with wide eyes. "How do you make a moment last?" "What?!?" Mikemon looked at Keio as if she had lost her mind--didn't the Princess see the enormous Digimon in front of them? That's when Raijinmon attacked.
5. Thistle glanced at Rondomon. "So now what?" "Why the ^#@%# heck do you always have to ^#@%$ ask me?!" "Because you LIVE here!" Thistle shot back. "Pfft." "Oh, you did not just 'pffft' me." Rondomon smirked. "Pffft." "Why you little--!" Thistle chased after her partner. "Nobody told me you were going to be this much of a pain in the--" "%#!$^!" Rondomon swore cheerfully. "You're faster than I %#@$% thought!" "Just wait till I get you!!!" The pair chased each other, hollering for all they were worth, not realizing they were drawing unwanted attention to themselves... The Ninth human had been found.
6. *looks at his sig* Indeed. Mmm....I can understand about the images that litter each page. And several times, I find that pages are made up more of sigs than actual posts. I know awhile back, people were only allowed eight lines in their sig. What happened to that? I know the banner bit was enforced to help this problem somewhat. But it's a slightly delicate issue. Don't want to stifle anyone's right to speak, er, write, er, whatever. :bluesweat If that makes sense. Ah well, not my decision. :D I try to keep mine short as a common courtesy to everyone, anyway.
7. I decided to try some photorealistic stuff. I warn you, this only took about 45 minutes, so it's messy looking. If I had taken the time to-- *pauses* --ahem. Comments, critiques, all that, welcome. ;)
8. Maybe his avatar is saved in jpg format, as opposed to gif, where the cut off corner would be "invisible". :bluesweat I don't know anything about the show myself, but the colors work well together in your banner.
9. It's also illegal. Photoshop itself is a couple hundred dollars, but if you can find the trial version, you'd be better off. Much safer than downloading those :angry2:, virus ridden files that your little bro downloads and kills your computer with.
10. :shifty: Hmmmm.... :shifty: (Let the corruption of Desbreko begin. :D)
11. Well, sure, always willing to see new stuff! :)
12. OOC: *Looks lost* Help! Where'd I go?!
13. *applauds James whole heartedly* That's what I'm talking about.
14. That plus a new Drayo pic. Yes'm! *salutes and runs off*
15. Easy, Psyco. Don't you think that because of our inactivity we are in this mess? I don't want war. But war is here. I don't want people to die. But people are dying. Forget about who started it and why, let's all just pray and hope it ends soon, with as little life loss as possible.
16. I have a half finished one of her somewhere around here....hmm, how about this? Hee hee hee, Drayo is my version of Sara that I made up, FYI.
17. When I say that man is his own worst predator, I mean it. The last thing I want to see is people divided on these boards because of this war. It seems silly, but if we let this get out of hand, it can come to that. Where peeps will go, "Oh, so-and-so is from this country, meaning they (opinion) the war, so we should avoid them." It (the war) is happening. Nothing's going to stop it. All I know is, I don't want people to die. But they are--right now, in fact. As much as I support Bush, I noticed that he had a note of "I know Saddam's not gonna give up" during his Ultimatum speech. Makes me wonder... As far as Iraq's weapons--they are kinda sad. One of my mangers told me they can't get far, so we don't have to worry about being blown up. And if Korea tried something, we'd prolly turn around and overkill them 5 times over. Not that I'm supporting that. Frankly, it was/is economic suicide to try to blow the USA up. I suppose that is our invinsible security blanket thought. What it's coming down to, like one of my fellow servers said, is getting rid of the weapons, and doing hand to hand combat. That has an unpredicitable outcome, and, if certain events happened, we might slip into WWIII. I'll stop now. Don't want to be an alarmist. But really, it's started now. IMO, Saddam had every oppurtunity to back down. But politically, this wasn't a wise move on Bush's part. "Back down or we'll make you." Did you hear the reply from Iraq? Basically the same thing. We're trying to "save" the Iraqi people from their leader. The question is, in all honesty, did they want to be save? Propoganda from there says no, thoughts over here say yes. Ginny's rambling enough now...and I'm surprised I didn't a thread on this back on Tues.
18. Today's installment of Ginny's Monsters (ah, what would I do with all that free time in art class without 'em?). A little background here, from the left to right: YUCHI: aka Ginnymon. Yuchi is garbled Japanese for Chiyuu, more specifically, "Close Friend" (wrist cutter can check for me). Yuchi originally belongs to Sara, when I made her, under protest, to make a critter based on me. ^_______^ BREKO: This little guy was just "born" last night. In honor of Desbreko, I made him with a lot of Des' preferences in mind. Breko is still a WIP, so don't get too attached just yet. (BTW, those are real and fictional Hylian runes on him.) SILVA: Another Sara original. I made this on request for her, and I'm pretty sure she remembers Silva. At least, I hope she does. Anyways, cute little critter, but her eyes need work, IMO. Color coming soon, for Neth, Yuchi, Breko, and Silva. (Soon meaning when I get around to it, if ever. ^____^)
19. If I believed in luck, I'd say I've got the worst kind. I have this natural ability to always be in someone's way so they will trip over me. I always seem to be just a little too early on some things, a little too late on others. And, most fortunately, me having "bad luck" means that I don't gamble. Nothing wrong with that, just that I can't do it, 'cause I'm quite bad at it (yes, I've gambled once or twice, that's how I found out about all this ;)). Saves me money.
20. Wow, I actually like how this one turned out. ^___^ How does Neth look like a zombie? oO; *wants to see the plushie version of Neth*
21. Ta da! Not a Rondo line this time, but rather, (if anyone remembers my "Return of the Digimon Emperor" story back when I was the webmistress), a DemiSheol one. If you haven't read the story, I won't spoil who DemiSheol is, but he's on the right, and his stronger form is on the left. Again, both can be considered monsters in their own right, since I'm not really considering them Digimon anymore. Neth should be colored soon.
22. Heh, methinks you have yet to play ChronoCross. That would be Kid. ^____^ Not too shabby. (But the lens flare is bugging me for some reason.)
23. Thistle plopped herself down in her computer chair like she did every night after school. It had been a particularly disturbing day, what with the events going on in her life. In order to have peace for a little while, she deciding to make some art on her PhotoShop program. Thistle pulled up her art folder, full of half finished character pictures, and looked through them, then paused on one. "Rondomon," she grinned to herself. "I need to finish you before you Pitch a Fit." Rondomon was one of Thistle's favorites. Far from your ordinary Digimon, she had made his character hot headed and foul mouthed, and just as equally strong. Which is why she was startled, but not too worried, when she got sucked into her computer. The black emerald device bounced off her auburn hair and Thistle groaned in pain. Rubbing her head, she picked the D-Tector up and stared at it in wonderment. "Does this mean...?" "About %#@$% time you got here!" a voice snapped. Thistle barely blinked when a tawny creature jumped out of a nearby bush at her, giving her a shoulder shove. "Hey!" she griped. "Hey, your ^#@$^ self!" "RONDOMON!" Thistle reprimanded him. "Whoa, lookit that, she ^@#$%* knows my name!" Rondomon's black tipped ears twitched and he smirked knowingly. "Hey," Thistle reprimanded him again, "I don't care if I did make you to be a foul mouth, you need to knock that off!" "What did you just #$*@% say?!?" "You heard me!" Rondomon scrunched his face up and glared at Thistle. "Oh yeah, this is gonna be a &#$*& vacation with you around." "Speaking of which, why am I around?" Rondomon scowled, his ears laid back against his head. "Well, we got the *&#$^ heroes and the *#^&@ baddies that've come from your *%#^@ neck of the woods and *#$^$ tore everything up with their *%#$^ fighting! And you just now choose to &#$%@ show up!" "Well, excuse me, but I didn't know I was supposed to be here! I don't even know what side I'm supposed to be on!" "That's just ^#$@& great," Rondomon muttered, crossing his arms. "You'd think we'd want to be on the hero side, right?" "Hey," Rondomon responded loudly, "I just want to be on the ^$@%@ winning side!" Thistle rose an eyebrow. "Oh yeah, that's gonna get you far." "Fine, what^$@&$ever. Let's just &$#@& figure out why you're here. And get you &$^#! home as soon as *^#&# possible." "Heh, aren't you the cheerful welcoming wagon," Thistle laughed at him. Rondomon just smirked back.
24. Again with using Gameboy Advance connections to get farther? I know it's all about money and market, but when is Nintendo gonna give that up? Some of us just don't have the time OR money to be social and share. :p Blehh. *is getting stared at by fellow ACers* What? (Me likies dah dragon, whoever s/he is.)
