Yeah, Zidane is exactly right. Auron was modeled heavily after traditional samurais of old. Thus the "ponytail" and the red kimono/cloak. I still maintain that he injured that shoulder bad during the major Y. battle, and that gives him another reason to "cradle" it. ENDING SPOILERS!!! (Color changed--highlight only if you want to read) Tidus does come back. Remember when, in the ending FMV, when the three pyreflies swirl around him and he swims up? Turns out that the three pyreflies are Braska, Jecht, and Auron, and the three give up their essences so that Tidus can return back to Spira, and thus, back to Yuna. END SPOILERS

Out of the 5 or 6 summons I have, only two really (IMO) are any good. I can't say which, I dunno if that's a spoiler for some or not.

I kinda pictured a Centaur/ramuh-ixion thingy. Not sure, but that's in the works.
-
I actually have a water concept of a multi-dorsal finned Leviathan in the works. As for the ice one, I'm gonna leave it with Shiva. How could anyone improve on her? ^^

Pupus...heh. NO, NEVER FORGET AURON!!! *hugs her imaginary plushie*

Derek Stephen Prince is one of my fabs (he mostly frequents the Digimon scene). Do video game sub/dub count? If so, Matt McKenzie's pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good.
-
OMyGosh--you look just like one of my friends, Duo!!! Too many unknown doubles in this world...:shifty: Forget Auron...did I just say that? NOOOOOO!!! Ok, don't forget Auron, and hand over the sheep. AWWWWWWW!!! Me want one of those! That's even better than the blue alien critters that I don't know what they are called. *is instantly carted off to the insane asylum*

Teh, now my younger brother is trying the "expert" mode for his first time around. He just won't listen to me--thinks he can survive easily. I'm gonna be laughing at him when he comes complaining to me about "it's too hard". I told him I would, too. Now if I could just beat that dagum Weapon! >_<
-
Thankies, liamc2! The only coloring job I really like is Yuka Netsu--she came out so easily! Yeah, screen size matters. Hopefully, you can see it the way I do on my regular computer.
-
Yeah, I'd go with Auron anyday, really! :luv: ...now it's just a matter of finding one. :shifty: As soon as you get your Mog, take a piccie of the two of you and post it up here--heh, I want to see just how big the Mog is compared to a person.
-
*blows a sigh of whatever* Oh Janadou! You know, I'm on a different computer tonight, and it's set to the 1080X800 bit--my piccies look a lot smaller...and cruddier. OK, FYI in future references, all my piccies are best seen with a 640X480 screen.

yoshi doll--ribbon--dog food--banana--stick--honeycomb--pineapple--flower (-ischus of some sort)--letter--broom--hook--necklace--scale--magnifying glass Spaz! i did that completely from memory, too! Name the three Crystals from Ocarina, who gives them to you, and a short answer on how you got the character to give it to you. (Easy.)

Elysan's mouth fell open. Kehho was wide eyed. Bip was nuzzling against Roe happily. "Did he just..." "...yeah..." "...and he was a..." "...yeah..." "...and then he..." "....yeah..." The two girls fell silent. Their brains were having difficulty putting together enough words to form a decent sentence, much less grasp what just happened. Roe looked a little unsure of himself as well, but pretended to be nonchalant as he brushed Eirian's neck feathers. "What's up with you two?" he asked the girls. "It's not every day you see a dragon turn into someone you know!" Elysan finally yelped. Kehho nodded, her tail still frizzed from the unusual fright they had just had. Elysan noticed this, then backed away from her. "What's wrong?" Kehho asked. "You're a Calith, like Roe..." "Yeah?" "And if Roe can turn into a dragon...or if he really is a dragon, does that mean you are really a dragon, too?" "What?!" Kehho was incredulous at this accusing sounding statement. "Wait a minute--Elysan, you're not scared of me, are you?" Bip chose this moment to leap off of Roe and climb up Kehho's skirt onto her head. Feeling playful, he hissed at Elysan, mimicing the Roe dragon. Elysan shrieked and bolted through the brush; she was lost to sight in an instant. "BIP!" Kehho shouted at her scaly friend. She grabbed him with both her hands and shook him. "You scaly little IDIOT--what am I gonna do with you?" The albino lizard instantly opened his mouth and pointed to it. "Scaly little idiot is right," Roe nearly exploded. "We should let you starve, you know!" Bip razzed Roe, as if to say that Roe didn't matter to him. Kehho sighed and shook her head. "We need to go find Elysan, and fast. Who knows if there are more orcs--or worse--out there."

Sorry for the triple post, but I have yet another pic to show you along this theme (it was either this or make a new thread that'd probably be merged right back into this one :p). Firas' "human"--I've tentatively named her Yuka Netsu, which is slaughtered Japanese for HellFire. I really really like how she turned out, too!
-
I've seen your pics of Mai, soooo...*raises an eyebrow* *points to self* I'm more of an-- All: Auron fan, yes, we know!!! --and I'm starting my collection on fanpics of him. Mmm, can't get enough Auron, heh. O, BTW, I've finally seen a decent piccie of the Auron vinyl statue. S'okay. Dangit, Duo, now I'm torn between the Mog and Auron! ;):p
-
Whoa, but she's got a determined look! ^-^ My only problem is with that thing hanging from her waist--it just doesn't look right. Other than that, good job!

My next concept drawing: My version of Ifrit and "human". Basically, I tossed Ifrit from several FFs and RedXiii from FF7 together, with a touch of fire stripes, and made Firas. Unlike other fire summons (which are almost always Ifrit), this fire summon is a female. I haven't thought of a name for the "human" yet. When critiquing, please remember that this is a concept drawing, and that I feel really really sick right now, so this is *ugh* good for me right now...^_~

Here's Fenris colored up for all of you. I personally think I could have done better, but I'm not used to making up color schemes at all, so this is practice, I guess. :p

SEPHY! (Did I mention that Sephiroth is one of my other (past) obsessions?) I've seen the pic for the second one, so it's...ok. The first one is awesome though, I've saved that little sucker to my hard drive. I'm debating if it needs text or not, you don't really want to destroy the effect it has.
-
Hey, cool, where'd you get the piccie of Reeve? Tim Curry would be perfect for that! Brad Pitt for Cloud...oy. Oh well, at least that's better than what they did to Sephy in Kingdom Hearts. Most of these do sorta match up...interesting.
-
Oh, yeah, the Monstro thing--he did come back once more, but then he disappeared again...maybe it's a random thing? Like the White Rooms? (I finally figured out how those little guys work!!!)

Nope, sorry, I believe it's a PS2 game only. (Although I'll keep my ears open for the PC version.) According to my research, they keep Jack Skellington's original voice. I never saw the movie, but Jack seems kinda sweet, really. In a dead skeleton kind of way. o_O Heh. And yes, there IS a purpose to getting all the Puppies, Trinities, pages, etc., but I can't tell you what. 'Cause that's a spoiler! IMO, they butchered several of the Disney stories (but then, Disney butchered the original stories, so feh). I was so sore that they couldn't get ahold of Robin Williams for the Genie...Dan Castalenetta (sp?) is nice, but just not good enough. I'm working overtime to get to the part where you see Sephiroth--just so I can see how much I scream when I hear Lance Bass' voice come out of his mouth...:cussing: Riku's, by far, is one of the best I've heard (next to Hades); I believe he is voiced by one of the guy actors from 7th Heaven, but I forgot which "son" it was. One last thing--a LOT of Disney characters, it seems, got cut out of the game. And others were left in, but you never get to hear their voice. A money factor, I know, but still...I wish they'd had given Cid a voice.

*pouts, whines* Well, I haven't seen anything around here from FFX, period. All I've seen is a bunch of FF:The Movie figures...whee. Hee hee hee, Cactuar! I love that noise they make in battle! I'd take the Auron statue any day...heh.
-
 *saves it* Hmmm? Oh...yeah, that's right. Perfect, in fact! *thumbs up, sighs happily* *behind her, her family is speed dialing the local insane asylum again*

ON FENRIR/KITSUNE: In FF9, Eiko (one of the charas) had a Summon Monster named Fenrir, a wind/earth elemental wolf. It was a soft blue, one tailed wolf that either called up a giant earth golem to pound away at the enemies (Terrestial Rage, I believe) or divided into several wolf head wind flames (best way to describe it) that sliced into the enemy (Millienial Decay, I believe). I'm sorta doing this as a favor for a friend, but also myself. Fenrir/Kitsune (and I am SO open for suggestions on what to call it!) is my second Summon Monster, with Auronite (the Auron Griffon) being my first. I've mostly made F/K an earth elemental, hence the leaves and vines. (The leaves actually started out as "curls"--if you've ever seen the Chinese dog statues, you'd know what I mean.) ON FENRIS: Fenris is a "human" I'm associating with F/K for some reason. I dunno if he's the one who weilds the power of F/K, or protects it, or even if he is F/K himself (a Fayth, for those of you who have been through the FFX route). I am going to do something with Fenris, but I don't like the pose in this piccie.
