1. Yes, definitely reminds me of the Mana series. It also seems to have a heavy hint of FF9 in there. *whimpers at James' comment* Easy there, Jamesy, you're talking about the game I love dearly right now (although even I think it could have standed a little more sustenance). ;) *hugs her Auron vinyl fig*

3. Well, I've been waiting since Feb. for this game and just got it today. As with any RPG game, it isn't exactly what I expected. I was totally captivated by the opening FMV (although the Disney sequences seem, thus far, a bit on the irritating side--but then I've only made it to the Coliseum). The acting voices ARE superb--familiar ones for Disney fans (yay Woods for Hades!), and likeable ones for the FF ones, too. Note I did NOT say familiar ones--the FFX charas were strange, and I nearly had a fit when I heard Wakka. V_V; Still, the lip syncing is pretty close (a lot closer than FFX's, but considering we're working with Disney movies here, I think it was a must to remember the English audience as well as the Japanese one). Gameplay is...interesting. KHs seems to be a cross between Legend of Zelda and RPGish, and reminds me most of, gasp, Legend/Secret of Mana. Basically, no turn based thing here--mash the buttons to hit an enemy--which isn't all that bad, really. It's throwing me off when I use magic, though. Oh yes, as far as I can tell at this time, you can only control Sora. Donald and Goofy are CPs. I really like the Abilites/carrying item slots--makes one think logically...although it does get a little irritating at times (tiny bit of a problem for me in the Coliseum Prelims). And the Hp/Mp meters are interesting, too. This aspect of the game reminded me of Paper Mario. Familiar Charas I've seen so far: (if this is a spoiler for you, stop reading) Squall, Aeris, Yuffie, Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, Cid, Cloud, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Alice, Queen of Hearts and her Cards, White Rabbit, Chesire Cat, Pluto, Chip n' Dale, Hercules, Cerberus, Phil, Hades, Malificent, Ursula, Jafar, the evil guy from Nightmare before Christmas... An added touch was Jiminy's Journal--you can see a list of all the familiar faces you see, get hints for where to go next, pull up 3-d shots of villians you've already beaten...nice touch. At least, this is what was included on the Normal setting. *raises an eyebrow* Wonder what Hard's like? All in all, a well made game. A good starting RPG for those new to the type. However, if you're expecting another FF under a different name, then think twice--KHs is a pretty happy, comical game, vs. the usual dark stuff that hangs over FFs. Eh, that's Disney for ya. ^^ This means that the ending will be very interesting indeed...I dunno what to expect! Done. :p Gonna go play some more now.
4. *giggles* Have a flaw, yes I do. You should see the boxful of half finished pics in my room. There's at least 10 seperate Auron drawings that are waiting for me...and that's just over the past week. v_v; Anyways, I really, really want to finish this and Shiva. So wish me the best of luck! :bluesweat
5. Yup, WIP. Work in Progress. I was hoping to finish inking this before posting it, but I'm disappearing for the rest of the day, so I'd figure I'd show all of you what I have so far of my most recent project (alongside Shiva). If any of you recall my FF7 group pic (at OtakuArtist), then this might look a little similar. Except this time, I made Tidus and Yuna the focus, with everyone else on the sides. Kudos to those who know the mysterious figure above Yuna's staff (but don't tell!). And an astonished gape and wink to those sharpeyed, intuitive peeps who know what's in/on Yuna's staff. *hopes the big version will post* [edit]Oh, one thing I didn't mention--I drew this piccie with a manga look in mind, so if they look a little different than what you expect, then there you go--I achieved my effect![/edit]
6. Mmm, I like...except for the white background. Maybe a pale shade of some color? I dunno... Good stuff. ;)
7. *is in complete awe of night elf*
8. *blinks* You mean you don't have FF7? Man, you're missing out... OK, being stupid over here (naw, not really, just woke up), but is FFx1 supposed to be completely online, or is part of it playable offline?
9. But then you know every feature of Akuma, so you know where to look. Auron: *he points at Ginny* Ignore her. Hey, that was MY line! Yeah, don't mind me. :bluesweat I feel the same way about my banner I have right now--cropped for OB rule dimensions, but I know that peeps who aren't familiar with Auron will wonder why the heck a guy's got his head stuck in a gravy boat?! (It's actually his collar, but you know...*shrugs*) I've already had one or two ask me that. :smooch: (adam smilie)
10. OOC: FYI, Auron never swears--he's got this real gentlemanly way of speaking. Just wanted to point that out. ^^; On the other hand, I've been totally out there as far as the reference to the Chaos emerald he nabbed from the skunkhog (which was a complete accident--I totally forgot about Sonic! :bluesweat ). OK, I'm gonna go research on the Emeralds now. Another FFX type spoiler near the middle--sorry, I'm really sorry--just know that Auron's turning all ghosty, then comes back with an interesting twist. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Auron groaned audibly and blinked his good eye. He blinked it again...and again...and again--everything was fuzzy. "So where's Auron?" "I'm right here," he answered Mario matter-of-factly. He watched a fuzzy Delia Ketchum shrug, and the Ditto, also fuzzy, mimic her. "Is there something in the water?" Knuckles complained loudly. "First that kid in green and your lizard friend, then Sonic and the fat lady, and now Auron. We're never gonna get anything done like this!" Mario looked about him, as if looking for someone. Furrowing his brow, Auron stepped in front of the semi-fuzzy red and blue plumber. Auron was relieved to see that Mario seemed to come into focus the closer he got to him, and hoped that the other could see him as well. He waved his gloved hand in front of Mario's face. "Mario, can you see me?" "Mama mia," Mario sighed, with more sadness than frustration. "There must a be something wrong if we can't hold a team together for a very long." "Well, let's go back inside and see if we can make the proper plans." "We? I don't recall asking you to come along." Delia giggled at Knuckles. "Silly, I want to make sure you two get a good start." The Ditto remained outside, squirming around, trying to find out where Auron went. Having no luck, it leaned on his dropped glasses, and gurgled in a depressed manner. Auron put his right hand to his face. His glasses! Out of habit rather than thinking, he reached out to pick them up--not bothered when his hand went right through them. He simply tried again. He wasn't really worried until he began to pyrefly--a term used in his home world, Spira. "Pyreflying" was when something--a fiend or a human--was either killed or sent to the Farplane. Knowing his condition, it wasn't the first. But it couldn't be the second, either--they didn't have summoners in this world, did they? Surely someone in Spira, alerted by Lulu, was trying to send him back, but how could they do it all the way from Spira? Ignoring his quickly fading form, he again tried to pick up his glasses and finally grasped them. Ditto squealed in shock as the glassed seemed to fly into the air of their own accord and clung fast to them. Auron felt some relief as he put his glasses back on, but paused at the squishy feeling. He poked at the mass, and it quivered. "You!" "DIT!" Ditto panicked and, for some reason known only to it, began to wrap itself around Auron's head. Auron panicked slightly at first, but relaxed as he noticed that his breathing wasn't hindered--and as an added plus, he wasn't pyreflying anymore. Things were looking up, more so when Mario, Knuckles, and Delia (followed by Mr. Mime, naturally) ran back out of the house (sheesh, lots of exercising going on here) and began to make comments that reassured Auron he was visible again. "Don't DO that!" Knuckles yelped, still feeling bad tempered about his own injuries, and the frustration brought on by the past couple of hours. He slapped Auron's back, not roughly, but just enough to make sure Auron was really there. "For the love a of pasta, Knuckles, stop with the knocking of Auron's glasses off a!" "Oh no, not that weird eye again...excuse me." Delia promptly fainted. A piece of skin stretched out from Auron's head, picked up the glasses, and zipped back, placing them over the offending eyes. "Yo, Ditto, enough jokes--we know you aren't Auron!" "Well, actually I am, in a manner of speaking." "Dit!" The others gaped. Auron blew a fitful sigh, and crossed his right arm over his slinged arm. "I don't understand it, either...let's just say I'm visible again and leave it at that." "Whatever." Auron began to reach for his gilded Masamune when Ditto squeaked at him, as if wanting to show off. Raising his right arm for him, Ditto reshaped its mass into a copy of Masamune. "Ditto!" Auron blinked, astounded. "Uh, yes, lovely...if you don't mind seeing your favorite weapon growing out of your arm...Yevon..." Ditto made a quizzical noise, wondering if it had done something wrong. "No, it's okay...well, not really...I swear...listen, Ditto, don't do that too much...don't do that at all, really, it's just not right." "Dit?" "Aw, cut it out, Auron, you're hurting the little guy's feelings," Knuckles chided. Auron watched as his arm returned to its original state. "I appreciate the offer, but understand, it's unnatural. It might come in handy, but I'm not going to waste time finding a way to return to normal." "Dit...." Auron mentally made a face. Yevon, this thing's sensitive. "In the meantime, thank you, Ditto." "Ditto!" it chirped happily. "Ah, gouda, 'cusa me, I mean, good," Mario interrupted, patting Delia's hand as he tried to revive her. "Can we a get back to the original matter at hand?"
11. *points to Cera's post* And therein lies the reason I doubt my banner ability. I know that banners should have a certain look to them, and I'm just not capturing it. (Please don't take this personally, Cera, I've would'a done it to anyone that pointed out the background problem. ^_^) That's why I'm taking art classes--to learn how to make some decent backgrounds for my charas--then I'll be in line for a really good job as an animator some day...*happily dreams and hopes*
12. *eyes James with innocent amusement* I know, I know. In the words of Cera, pffft. ;):D If I was still interested in this thread, I'd sulk for a little while, wonder if you'd be kind enough to sticky Tamers:V2 in the RPG area, and hope for the best. But now...*shrugs* Move it where you want. Matters not to me. (Not that I speak for everyone here, just myself.)
13. I totally agree with you, AnimeLover--Ultimate and Omega were disappointing, comparing to the lengthy amount of time I had to spend on the Ruby and Emerald Weapons. *makes a face as she remembers those two* FF7's Ultimate Weapon wasn't all that bad--you know, the one you keep ramming Cid' airship in to, in order to get to that one secret area? But FF10's? Pfffft.
14. Whee hee! Me like! *always like these icons* See that one on the far right? That's my boss tomorrow, after hearing how I screwed up in front of the Corp. boss today. >_
15. Knuckles dubiously took the plate of food from Mario, poking a fork at the mass. Delia happily accepted her plate, at the same time soothing Mr. Mime's feelings about the strange, mustachioed cook in the kitchen. Auron waved away the pasta and walked outside. His mind was still jumbled with the images he had saw at the edge of the Farplane, and he needed to think. Swinging his blade over his right shoulder, he leaned against the house. Quiet place; seemed to remind him a little of the Green Hill Zone--minus those irritating loops. Something rustled in the grass by the fence. Auron snapped his head in that direction, gripping his sword handle tighter. A pinkish purple blob with beady eyes squirmed out. "Ditto!" "What in the world?" The blob inched closer, waving part of its mass at him. "Ditto..toDit!" Auron watched it with wary interest...until it covered his entire right boot. "Hey!" he barked in his coarse voice. "Tooooooo!" the Ditto squealed pitieously. It quickly squirmed back into the grass, out of sight. "What's wrong?" Delia, with Mr. Mime shadowing her, had run out of the house at the sound of Auron's yell. "Nothing to worry about." If all the fiends here are that cowardly, there is definitely nothing to worry about. "All right..." Delia sounded doubtful, shooing her Mr. Mime back into the house. Crossing his right arm over his slinged arm, Auron tried to concentrate on the images again. He felt movement next to him, and turned to eye it. He found himself looking at himself. Blinking his good eye in astonishment, his Adam's apple running up and down furiously under his collar, he approached his twin. "Who are you..." "Ditto!" His twin melted under Auron's touch, turning back into the pink purple blob. "Hmmph. You again." "DitTO!" Ditto squeaked. Auron furrowed his eyebrow and crossed his arms again, ignoring the blob, which was doing a fair imitation of his stance in its blobby state. Auron turned his eye on Ditto again. "You think you're funny, don't you?" "Dit!" Auron laughed to himself quietly. Then he gasped softly in agony as the images came back stronger than ever, flashing across his mind's eye. He couldn't see them, couldn't comprehend them...they were slipping away too fast. He tried to massage his now throbbing eye, but finding his shaded glasses in the way, tore them off and threw them to the ground. Ditto looked on worriedly as Auron fell to his knees, rubbing both eyes frantically. "Ditto?" "What's...happening...?" "Ditto! Ditto!" Ditto cried out in terror as Auron fainted. "Whata was that?" "What was what?" "I heard it, too--that thumping noise." Delia stood up, throwing her napkin on the table. "Your friend might be in trouble." "Mr. Mime!" The Pokémon quickly cleaned off the table while the threesome ran outside. "Auron? Get in trouble?" Knuckles scoffed. "'Cuse me, but did you see the size of his sword?" Outside, they found Auron's stretched out body. "Mama MIA! Auron!" "Oh dear...Mr. Mime!" Delia called to her faithful servant. "Mime?" "Please get some wet cloths." "Mime!" Knuckles shook Auron's shoulder. "C'mon buddy, no time for a snooze." The red cloaked figure stirred and groaned. "Oh thank goodness. Are you all right?" "Dit," Auron replied. "What," Mario said flatly. "Dit Dit," Auron chuckled. Everyone gaped. "Thata is a not normal." "No duh," Knuckles muttered. He began to slap Auron's cheeks, in order to knock some sense into him. The shaded glasses glittered as they fell off Auron's face. "EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Everyone screamed in horror. "Mime?" "His eye!" Delia shrieked. Auron's eye was a small black orb, shining like an obsidian marble lost in the large mass of his face. The dark scar that traced over his right eye was an ugly tear, sealing the right eye tightly and keeping it from moving. It was the first time anyone had seen the scar up close. "Man, is that why he always wears those glasses?" "No, that can't be right--at least, not the left eye," Delia murmured. "I saw real honest to goodness human type eyes...ah, eye, the last time I saw him." "Dit?" Mario experimentally poked Auron's forehead. It quivered and "Auron" melted under him. In a moment, the Ditto that had pestered Auron earlier was squirming in the light, chuckling as if it had done something clever. "Wait a minute...that's not Auron, that's..." "A Ditto," Delia finished for him. "Ditto are famous for their Copy ability. Ash once told me about a Ditto he met that couldn't change its eyes when it transformed--but I didn't know it was a common Ditto problem. This little guy's almost got it--he copied the scar, just not the eyes." "So where's Auron?" Delia shrugged, and the Ditto echoed her movement. "Is there something in the water?" Knuckles complained loudly. "First that kid in green and your lizard friend, then Sonic and the fat lady, and now Auron. We're never gonna get anything done like this!" Mario looked around him, hoping to spot the Crimson Warrior. Where had he gone?
16. Text is a little hard to read where it is all soft, transparent, and blurred. But I LOVE the font for "Nomad"--what is it, what did you do to make it look like that? *uses PhotoShop5.5* Maybe the text isn't the problem--maybe the grid background is tampering with some of the effect. I personally prefer the reg. to the inverted, but that's me.
17. I don't recall--off the 'Net somewhere. :bluesweat The fullblown version of the image can be found at http://209.123.85.4/~otakub35/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14994&perpage=15&pagenumber=3 --just scroll down to my post. Mmmm, looks good, don't he? :luv::love: Here's another one I might use...another good looking Auron...mmm, yes! *more :luv:*
18. While I wait for someone else to help me with my banner problem, I attempted to make my own. Auron: Heaven help us. Hush you. All right, since I know I'm sometimes a little rough on all of your work, I expect I'll probably get some of the same treatment back. Auron: *waiting to be amused* Hmmph. Anyways, first one: http://www.thenationv3.com/therealm/attachment.php?s=&postid=940 Second one: http://www.thenationv3.com/therealm/attachment.php?s=&postid=939 I hope to make a hand drawn one, Auron grinning darkly and brandishing his sword at an unseen fiend. Caption would read: "Better to be guarded than gutted."
19. Mmm, I would have disagreed with you, James, back when Tamers:V2 was popular. Someone had moved it once before, and, much to the Digimon forum dwellers' dismay, it seemed to disappear from sight. I begged TN to move it back, so we could continue working on it without fear of losing the thread or someone who didn't understand Digimon completely hacking it to bits. But now...it seems as if the interest is dying...I dunno what to think...
20. Silly, my banner was 300 by 75...definitely under the requirements. The only reason it is missing is because it was an attachment in a thread (banner request thread, the loooooooooong one) that got erased. *sighs* We now return you to your thread, already in progress.
21. Reminds me sorta BladeGarurumon. Coolies! Nice use of ink. Maybe use a pencil or something to shade some of the darker areas darker? It'll make him stand out more, I promise! *thumbs up* Me like.
22. *stares in fascination* Reeeeeeeeeeed. Mmm, yeah, the Akuma looks a little too chibi to be in the banner.
23. Plod, plod, plod. The group continued to move at their pace; surprisingly, it wasn't Auron (known for being infuriatingly and deliberately slow at times, to the point of running only when a life was in danger), but rather the noisy, ever complaining Madame Aroma that was holding them up. "I cannot walk like this--I am missing my imported shoe!" Plod, plod, plod. "It was a gorgeous one, too. I had spotted it in the Termina Times...though I get the feeling I've seen it somewhere before." (Such is the way of people trapped in time warps.) Plod, plod, plod. "All glittering gold, and the tassels hanging down, making it look like feathered water pouring from my souls, making me look as if I was walking on sunset kissed water..." Plod, plod, plod. Sonic suddenly screamed. "I can't TAKE it anymore!!!" He turned on Madame Aroma, and wiggled a finger in her face. "I swear, lady if I have to hear you complain for one more millisecond--" "But I only have one shoe!" Sonic was about to pull his spikes out. The other three were enjoying this immensely. Until Sonic picked up Madame Aroma and, using his famous speed, zipped out of sight. A moment later, Sonic set Madame Aroma down. Infuriated, she whacked him with her fan, only to find it stuck in his quills. "-_- All right, I've had enough." He whirled in one spot, buzzsawing the fan out of his spikes. "You don't touch the spikes," he growled at the fat woman. "Ever." Ignoring the now bawling woman, he took stock of his surroundings. Squares, squares, and more squares...Yeesh, these people look pretty strict, whoever they are. Which means cramping my style. He looked up to see the strangest thing ever--yellow, circular people walking toward him. Well, I can teach 'em how to be lax. He smiled hugely and walked toward them, ready to give them a good talking to, when the Pac People suddenly mobbed Madame Aroma. "I told you there were people like us in the outer world," one said to another. "And she's simply beautiful!" Madame Aroma blinked in stupified silence, unsure how to react, but enjoying the attention. The Pac People looked at her. "Welcome to Pac Village. How can we help you, Ma'am?" She instantly saw an oppurtunity. "You mean Madame. Madame Aroma. And you can help me by..." Sonic was left behind, speechless for once. "Dida he just--?" Knuckles scowled. "Yup." Patience was wearing thin, and Auron stabbed the multipoint of his guilded Masamune into the ground. "Great!" he snarled darkly. Mario stared at the lethal sword, popeyed, and tried to ease the mood. "It'sa the red team now!" "Well, actually, I'm more of a--" "This is no time to joke. We need to get out of here." He knew there was some purpose to being in this strange world, and he needed to find out what, before it was too late. Too many times in my life have I delayed, and my loved ones suffered. I am not going to let it happen again. "Well, thinking caps, then, gentleman." And at least we can think now without that arrogant blue butt blabbing every second, Knuckles thought to himself, but not unkindly. Sonic had just made another "look as you leap" decision, and had pretty much left the rest of them stranded. Mmmm, lasagna...luguini...spaghetti...o's...circles...portals...like that blue sparkly one over there...doughnuts... Mario continued to follow his odd train of thought into some strange areas of his brain, blushed as bright red as his hat, and returned to happy thoughts of pasta again. Then it hit him. "Portal!" The other two stared at him. "Portal portal portal!" he jabbered excitedly. The pair began to worry about his brain being in the sun too long. Making a sigh of disgust, Mario grabbed their heads, one to each gloved hand, and turned them toward the sparklying blue portal that glimmered ten feet away. "Whoa....oh hey, wait a minute, are you sure?" Knuckles asked. "Who knows where we'd land? "Indeed." Auron stood up, hefting his weapon onto his shoulder. In his sleeve, the green stone was glimmering at the same strength the portal was, so he knew he had to go through. "You're not gonna...no, no, oh no no no no no!" "Mama mia! Auron!" Mario blew a fitful sigh. "Would you rather stay here?" To tell the truth, Auron had been sick of the Green Hill Zone ever since he stepped into it; he was glad for the oppurtunity to leave. Mario scuffled the ground with his shoe and Knuckles rubbed a fist uncertainly. "Here's a what I know. That's a time portal. They appear at random, and stay open, sometimes forever, sometimes only a few minutes. You needa the Portal Key to use the portal, and itsa been long time since I've seen one." "Would this work?" Auron held up the shining green stone. "That's a Chaos Emerald!" Knuckles yelped. "How in the world--" "No time for questions now. We don't know how long the portal will stay open." Already the portal was growing weaker in its shine. "I'm going, even if you don't," Auron stated matter of factly. Knuckles turned to Mario. "You seem to know about these things...what do we do?" "Well, I thinka we should..."
24. Artsy fartsy wise :bluesweat the red outlines are bugging the stuffing out of me. But I can't seem to suggest any other color to make them stand out. Other than that, it's eye pleasing.
25. After going through the entire thread, with many of my thoughts spoken for me, I simply have to point to James' posts. That's exactly where my thought process is at this moment. In a semi-touchy subject like this, it's hard to say something without sending someone else off. (Sorry, but I'm guilty of that, too.) Killing innocents is wrong. Period. And, despite all of our claims of brilliant technology, America's greatest downfall will be ignorance. (Guilty of that as well.) And while this whole situation seems out of our hands, I personally think if there was some way we would be willing to get up from our chairs, and actually see the outside world (guilty of not even knowing her next day neighbors vs. kids from all over the world via Net), and become involved in it, there would be a chance to "protect" (not the best word at all, but all I got) ourselves from future problems. Not all of them, but at least maybe, somehow, enough to see ourselves as flaw-filled human beings. Enough to see that we need to stop living in the "me me me me" attitude (a widely accepted yet terrible attitude here in America). [do not be offended or go flaming] I may be a Christian, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna pop you in the head with a weapon for not believing with me. [/end comment]
